Our boss booked us a room, this hotel is NICE as hell! Super nice staff, they also had a VERY good Mexican restaurant you can access through the hotel. Not to mention, they have POOL SIDE ROOMS!

Absolutely delighted with the excellent customer service. They have been fantastic! We are happy with our room, certainly for a reasonably priced unit this is all that we could’ve expected and more. And they directed us to a fantastic pizza place called Bill’s Pizza Shop which is some of the best pizza I’ve ever had. Doesn’t get much better. Would definitely recommend.

Everyone was very helpful, thoughtful, and friendly. When I come back to visit my family, I will come back here for my stay.

Mattresses were lumpy n very uncomfortable seemed like homeless shelter people hanging around felt uncomfortable.

Location, Location, Location and service.

Extremely disappointed that we tried to cancel a reservation two weeks in advance, to learn that cancellations are not allowed. They have collected $115 from us for providing nothing. Will never book with Econo Lodge again.

First they quoted us 55 per night then when we got there they charges us 590 for a week we extended our stay 2 nigjtss for 134 but before we left we had to pay 153 or they were going to charge my bosses credit card they are a rip off I wouldnt stay here again if it was 20 bucks per night.

Upon arrival at the hotel, no one was at the front desk, I rang the phone and an individual came out from my right out of a smaller room. Received my cards to the hotel and went to my room and the cards didn’t work. Went back to the front desk and had to wait again for a worker that was not at the desk. Got into my room which was cold and dirty with stains on towels and the ceiling. Continental breakfast was horrible, cold coffee, white bread and those waffles. After leaving the hotel I checked my bank statements and figured out I was charged 2x for my one night stay. I called the hotel who didn’t help at all and gave me no answer on how to solve this issue. I called the online booking website which gave me a reference # and said in 3-5 days I “probably” will be reimbursed my money. I asked so will I for sure, or just “probably”? I was told “probably”. They informed me of an authorization form that my bank would need to send directly to the hotel if I wanted this process to go faster. I called my bank which they have never heard of a form that does that kind of thing. My bank said that if they don’t reimburse my money by the date they said (1-30-19 aka next Wednesday) they will go after them for a disputed transaction. There is no way I will ever stay at this type of companies hotel’s ever again. Horrible customer service, dirty facilities and overall bad experience.

It was nice clean and staff was nice.

Check in took longer than expected due to technical errors. Our room was poolside which was noisy around 9pm with kids screaming. The room itself was clean and roomy. Bed wasn't comfortable hardly slept at all. The a. C. Was loud but cool. The key to the outside doors didn't work. It's an older hotel needing updates. Also had issues with the t. V. Had to call front desk to get it working.

Room looked clean and comfortable at first glance. Bedding was dirty and we had to ask for bedding for the hide. Breakfast was good but needed not gluten free options. Over all it was good value just needs to be tweaked and it would have been an awesome stay.

Had our Legion Baseball team there for about a week. It costs less, so you aren't getting high end everything, but for the price, you can't beat it. The front desk — specifically Christopher — was excellent. They were very helpful and accommodating. Definitely our Good Luck Charm!

I am so unhappy with my hotel stay. The carpets stunk, the doors barely shut, there was ONE vending machine in the whole building, which was all the way downstairs by the pool, which was supposed to be heated, but was freezing cold. The hot tub was closed down, there were no laundry facilities, and the phone in my room didn't even work. I couldn't answer the automated wake up call system, so it wouldn't stop calling. I had to unplug the phone. We live in a bunkhouse. We paid HARD earned money for one last night of comfort and convenience for the season, and I would have had more comfort and convenience in my metal box. Never staying here again.

Just held a wedding reception there. They had a flood prior to our arrival. The venue smelled bad. They never filled paper towel or soap dispensers, so I bought my own paper towels and foaming soap, they were going to put bar soap! The toilet paper was just set out in paper wrapped rolls. The ceiling tiles in bathrooms were moldy. The chairs were all sticky. One chair broke out from under a guest. None of the chairs matched. I had to tell them to clean the dead spiders off the windowsill and get the cobwebs off the urinals. The owner told me I was lucky I could even get it that time of year and it was bad for businesd because our guests all filled the parking lot. What? I had the contract a year ago, is that my problem? Also, there was no electricity the day of, the repair guy was working on it the day of the reception. What the hell? He also said the music could cause complaints and bad reviews. Thanks for the reminder. Here's your review, buddy. If you didn't have your fantastic employee Christopher, you'd be out of business.

Very friendly helpful staff especially since we got there at 1:00am.

Average place to stay. They had a pool which I didn't have time to use, but a nice amenity. The bed wasn't terrible nor was it super comfortable. Bedroom window was also near an area with lights/cars going by which can be helped with curtains. It was an average place to stay. A good place to crash the night but by no means extravagant. I did forget something there, I called the front desk and described what item it was and what room I lost it and they found it and I was able to pick it up.

Lobby nice, rooms dated. Hot tub not working. Hot and cold temps in the tub was opposite what it should have been and hardly any water pressure. Not many choices for breakfast, generally there is at least yogurt with the cereal option. No toilet paper in the room and not enough towels for 4 people.

The location is convenient. The room is outdated, but still with comfortable furniture. The service was lame.

Pet friendly but there is a fee. Affordable. Vending machines go fast on the weekends and not filled daily. Good experience all in all.

Love it here. Clean room. Amazing staff. Pool. Games for the kids. Breakfast. I could go on and on. Staying for 3 nights now.

Had a business meeting in the basement. Area was big enough, but the women's bathroom was definitely not being up kept. No toilet paper in most of the stalls, no paper towels, and one of the faucets didn't work.

Not very clean. Staff is very nice and the breakfast is pretty decent but the rooms are dusty… The hot tub was closed and the pool water was too cold.

The lobby looked pretty nice and the employees were very nice! I was staying here for business but when I got to my room it went down hill from there… First I was really looking forward to the hot tub in the hotel but it was closed, no big deal though. But when I walked into my room, it was gross. The ceiling was peeling off in spots, a fresh coat of paint would of covered the holes and the marks on the wall. There were stains on the lamp shades and the desk chair was old and gross. At least the bed was clean to sleep in even though it was not very comfortable, didn't get much sleep. When I went to shower out of the 4 bigger towels provided I found 1 that wasn't stained or ripped, the shower head barely put out any water. I hope this describes the place for you and helps when determining where to stay. The breakfast is nothing special either, cereal, milk, bananas, waffles, frozen egg patties and some toast options. I would give it 1.5 star hotel.

Normal hotel. It would be good if you are single. I wouldn’t recommend for families. Hotel needs to improve the cleanliness, I have stayed in 2 rooms but it has the hair all over the bed.

It's a great deal for what you pay. I noticed these guys consistently have the cheapest prices around the Stevens Point area. The have amazingly clean rooms and very nice staff! I will definitely stay here again.

This hotel is cheap. The front desk did not have paper to print the receipt. My wife came down later and asked for a receipt and she was told the computer wasn't working properly. The person at the desk was lying to us? Y? I'm guessing the manager instructs them to do that, which is hurtful for business. The breakfast was a complete joke. They only have one front desk worker at all times, unless changing shifts, and it's difficult for them to restock the cheap breakfast AND check out all the guests. Just another example of probably trying to 'save' money. But they're really hurting business by customers NOT returning. The manager took TOO long to call us back about reserving a block, so the rest of our group went to a different hotel. Lucky them, because this experience was by far the worst I've ever had at a Choice Privilege Hotel. Nothing gets fixed! The pool closed, no sauna, no hot tub, no sofa sleeper in our room. It was just a complete gag show the entire stay! Our rooms were clean but didn't even have trash liners! I feel bad for housekeeping who have to clean those out. Will not be back!

The room was adequite, they let us check in early too! the only thing I could complain about was they neglected to tell us they had a complimentary breakfast. That sucked!

The room is nice, the iron does not work. Also what gets on my nerves is that the pool is closed and the lady said it would be ready for kids to play in the next day well nope next day was still close. But, the food is fine and I like how you can bring pets.

Room was clean, better than I was expecting. The hotel looks a bit dated, but otherwise pleasant. Breakfast was a joke.

Pool is out. Was never told at check in. If we would have known would have stayed some where's else. Asked if there was a discount for no pool when we asked and paid for pool side room. Was told we are at the lowest they could do… Won't stay here again.

Creepy guys hanging out outside the hotel, my bathtub was dirty. One of my washcloths had hair in it. The television was broken. The pool wasn't working. And when I turned the water on the water was rusty coloured. I will NOT stay here again. I didn't feel safe there with the drunk creeps sitting outside the door drinking beer and smoking half the night. If you are a solo female traveler it isn't a safe place to stay. They didn't offer me a discount or anything despite all these things I complained about.

Very impressed! Super helpful staff. Clean spacious rooms. Convenient location. SUPERB Mexican restaurant next door. And very reasonable rates. Literally no complaints, I've stayed in hotels that were twice as expensive and were much worse.

Hotel was okay. Room was quiet. Bathroom light broken, bathroom fan noisy, room AC would only blow into the curtain therefore no circulation in the room. Shower could have been a little hotter. Check in was good. Location is great. Hotel/rooms a little dated but I was just there to sleep and shower.

You get what you pay for, but I don't mean that as an insult. I hate paying crazy prices for hotel amenities I'm not gonna use… a pool? Restaurant? A gym? I don't care I'm not in town to hang out at a hotel. The bed is fine. It's quiet. A private bathroom, ironing board, and towels. What else do I need? — 1 star for the shower head being 5'6" from the ground and having a piece of wood telling 3 broken towels, but who cares if all I'm doing is sleeping here.

Not recommended and will not stay here in the future. Booked and blocked rooms for my wedding. Econo Lodge has gone through new management a couple weeks ago. A family member found out booking was cheaper than the price I was given through the old management. They honored and charged those who book with the reduced price. However, the night before my wedding, I get a call from family member that the pool is not working, hot tub is broken, and a family member checked in at 8pm and her room is still dirty! It's the last thing I should be dealing with the day before my wedding! I called and front desk personnel was very apologetic and said a Manager will get a hold of me. It's been a week and no one has tried to reach out to me. Room was decent but could use update. Meeting room was decent but Women's bathroom next to the meeting room had 3 out of the 5 stalls with out of order sign. Toilet paper dispenser was not working.

I will never stay here again. We were not informed of the broken hot tub upon check in or the extra charge on the room for being poolside until the credit card was processed. Even when booking the room, we were not informed of this charge. The rooms were dirty with nearly every chair having stains and holes in the bed sheets. The ceiling had visible water damage and a hole. The continental breakfast was hardly enough to be given that title. There were 3 simultaneous parties occurring in the pool area which was nearly 120+ people that were loud for the entire afternoon of our stay and whom also blocked use of the pool to other guests. I am highly disappointed with the stay and WILL NOT return. If giving a negative star rating was an option I would do so.

The pool is inside the hotel, in the center of all rooms. Very loud. If you are not a late night person this is not the hotel for you. Very loud until 11:30pm.

It smells. Everything smells. Especially the shower curtain which smells like B. O. The comforter was laced with hair. Just gross overall.

Definitely a 2 or 3 star hotel. Nothing amazing about it. Little run down but they keep it reasonably clean. Got a good price for a overnight stay. Nice little bar at good prices and friendly owner. Restaurant in hotel has decent food and a good price. Overall I would rate it at a 3 star. Easy on off from major highways with some truck parking.

This hotel is obviously in a state of being renovated at the moment, and the completed parts are nice. My room was a king suite, and has new paint, carpet and furniture. The room was clean and well kept, apart from a few small issues, which are able to get ignored when considering that I paid less than $40 for the room. It was a great value, but due to the price, the other guests were loud, drunk and obnoxious which did cut a bit into my ability to sleep.

Easy access from highway. Sheets appeared stained. Decor very out of date. Hot tub jets not working.

Stayed here in March. When I arrived, there was remodeling going on so there was dust flying everywhere. It was real hard getting in and out of the parking lot with limited parking and someone sideswiped the fender of my car. I saw the car backing out from next to mine and it was extremely close. It was snowing so I didn't see the damage until I got home. The hot tub wasn't working. They put me on the 3rd floor and I use a cane which they saw, but didn't seem to care so it was hard to get around. When I got into my room it looked like the sheets hadn't been changed on one of the beds so checked for bedbugs. Thankfully I didn't find any. There wasn't any literature for places to eat. Staff was limited and a bit rude. The conference rooms where horrible and cold. I booked 3 nights and checked out after 2. I left something behind in the room and called right away and told them what I left and exactly where it was, but it magically disappeared! Don't EVER leave anything behind because you will never get it back even after phone call after phone call. Dishonesty in my book. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone! The worst experience EVER! They should just bulldoze the place. Zero stars.

Hot tub was down at check in and we weren't made aware of it. Then they decided 7:30 @ night would be a good time to run power tools. Pool was closed 2nd day we were there and then without earning the shut the electricity off. I was staying from our of state with 2 children. No swimming, no TV for 80.00 a night! Shame on them for even running a business this way.

Nice hotel with a cool layout. All the rooms surround an indoor courtyard with a pool, hot tub, billiards table. But the rooms are surprisingly quiet. They’re clean, comfortable and have good water pressure. The hotel is right off the highway and close to lots of restaurants. I recommend a sushi place called Matsu Ya. Very friendly staff too.

Never again we got put in the wrong room then people we being loud in the pool way after the pool hour we told the front desk about it they told us there was nothing they could do about it really it your hotel call a manager way have rules if u let people get away with that we will be complaining.

Was a nice stay — They have cleaned the place up quite a bit. I stayed here in the past and this stay was so much better then the last. There is a very nice pool/arcade area and the hotel is located right off the freeway. Staff is very friendly and helpful and Iook forward to staying here next time I'm in Stevens Point.

You know that hotel that you stay at and your surprised there are no bugs? This is the place. I had financial and time constraints for an emergency trip to the area for a daughter in soccer camp. The staff was very courteous, hence the 1 star. The hallway had banged up walls and paint patches all over and dark. My room door wouldn't close on it's own. I had to lift it to get it to close completely. My room had a funky, musty smell, had not been vacuumed, and one of the queen bed's sheets had not been changed from the prior customer. I know this because there was a hair under the pillow and a funky stain on it. The drawers were all dirty, and had hair in them. They are either sorely understaffed, or they just don't care. The other bed was clean, and I was too tired from the reason I had come the area, to deal with this also. If the room was in this condition I sure didn't even want to attempt the pool. I had read the reviews and was wary, but budget won out. If you can afford a little more, do not stay here. It says there is new management, so I hope they actually do something for this place. Otherwise they should just close it permanently.
