Great staff, great location, nice pool, hottub, clean, quiet, complimentary breakfast.

This hotel was so clean! As we entered our rooms we could see staff cleaning the rooms and scrubbing the bathroom tiles by hand. The manager was so sweet and understanding with our adoption situation of not knowing when we’re able to travel back home. The indoor pool is very clean and the hot tub was hot. Breakfast was great and staff is very professional. They had a lending library to use for your stay, it was stocked with adult and children’s books. The had a fast working community computer with a printer that worked great. I would stay here again, anytime!

We stayed here for two nights the room was great, the breakfast was great, and the pool was what the kids needed. Awesome staff my daughter left her doll clothes I called to see if they found them at that time they hadn't, but today they were in the mail from them. Never expected them to mail them to us that was above and beyond.

Wasn't there for long, but the pool and hot tub were great, and I was glad they had a treadmill to run on and exercise machine to cover my workout.

The Country Inn & Suites in Plattville is very nice cozy and comfortable. We stayed one night just riding through town. The price was way to high the next day I checked online and the price dropped $100. The staff is nice the facility is clean. The breakfast area was clean the food was good your average hotel breakfast. We didn't use the pool area so I cannot comment on that. Besides the price I would recommend this hotel.

My mom came to visit and she stayed there for two nights. My kids and I were able to come and use their pool for free. They also had complementary soup out all dayfor their guests.

Friendly staff… Free Wifi. Nice rooms. Looks to be recently renovated! Also about 2/3 the price of Holiday Inn Express!

What can I say about? Its your standard Country Inn. Good rooms, good service, a standard hotel breakfast, and in walking distance of the college campus (~20min walk). One thing that did disappoint a little was the pool, which only got 5ft deep, and was a little on the small side. But hey, at least they had a hottub to. I would recommend this hotel for families who are coming to visit the college, but if its just you and your trying to find some place to stay the night, then there are probably cheaper options in the area.

Best price for football weekend (toy drive discount). Close to everything and so we we're surprised they didn't dkubke rates as they usually do for events weekends. Good cookies and again too busy to use the pool the 2 nights we were there. Parking good.

This hotel had friendly staff and clean facility. The building is freshly remodeled and well kept. Highly recommended for anyone staying in Platteville or having meetings or pool parties.

This is a very nice hotel and the remodel they just did is amazing! Great breakfast and convenient location. Pool and spa could use an update but still overall a great hotel!

The employee s there are kind and welcoming. They worked with us when we needed to check in early and when the parking lot was full. They look out for your best interests. Would recommend staying if your in need of lodging while in Platteville.

Staff was nice. Room was clean except worlpool was really dirty and had not looked like it had been cleaned in awhile. Staff was apologetic and only charged us regular room rate instead of suite rate.

Location: The hotel is in a pretty nice town. There are some quality food places and chain stores. Rooms: The rooms were nice. They were clean with comfortable beds. Service: The service was alright. The staff was friendly. The reason for the 4-star rating is that my family asked for a few clean towels and washcloths. One of the washcloths had a poop stain on it, which was very unfortunate.

I stayed here with my family during a vacation for a night. The price is all lot higher than it should be, but the pool was nice, the workout room actually looked pretty nice (although I didn't use it), and the breakfast was better than your typical hotel. There was also a brown stained wash cloth, but that could be anything. (i hope) Also, the rooms were pretty nice. The beds were better than my own bed and the windows were nice and allowed for some nice fresh air flow.

Everything was nice but the air conditioner. Room was clean and in good shape. Breakfast was good. However it had the type of ac that you cannot keep the fan on. So the room cycles from dead quiet to loud every few minutes.

Overall, nice place-recently remodeled. Floors throughout the second level are very noisy as you walk down the hallway and room. Room where breakfast is served is very noisy, nothing absorbs the sound. With taxes and fees applied, paid $157 for one night. I stayed here on several occasions last year. On a side note, breakfast is great and the place is kept very clean. The staff is extremely friendly and accommodating.

The location to our destination is perfect. The room were emaculately clean, and the staff is very polite and helpful. My one complaint is the pillows, and I realize that is remedial, but they have 3 small pillows that make it difficult to get comfortable. The hotel has many great amenities including a pool, spa, and work out room. They offer a complimentary breakfast. I had a nice stay at a nice hotel. If I'm ever back in the area, I will be staying here again.

Beds are great room is large. But hot tub not hot at all.

We made the reservation early online requesting an early check in because my husband works third shift and we were driving right after he got off work the 3.5 hours to Platteville. I called a few days prior to see if that request was possible. The clerk assured me that if I called early the morning we were arriving that we could get that no problem. So that is what I did and that clerk said no way. I even called one hour prior to our arrival and he still said no. Moundview said that they would have been glad to help us.

Recently renovated. Rooms were very clean and upkept. The pool was relaxing, and the Wi-Fi worked well for the most part.

Hotel was going through renovation, and the room I stayed in was not rennovated. Overall the hotel was alright. The service was great, but the room felt a little run down. Our bathroom light flickered when it was on, TV barely worked, toilets clogged easily, and our window was missing a window sill. The breakfast was disappointing, so don't expect anything too fancy. Other than that, everything was ok. Hopefully everything improves once renovations are finished.

So it's been a couple of years but I had no issues with this location. Rarely do I have any concerns with Country Inns. This one was great to stay at! We'll stay at this one again next time we are thru!

The bed was extremely comfortable, even tho it was made weirdly with the comforter only coming up to my waist! After remaking the bed all was well. Quiet room. The location is very convenient to us when visiting in Platteville. We also used the conference room which was adequate for our needs. The pool water was warm & comfortable and the staff were attentive to the towel supply. All staff were friendly and accommodating. We enjoyed a pleasant stay.

Awesome stay. Clean, neat rooms… lots of space. Refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker… all what you'd expect… but this hotel goes above and beyond. Great service. Fresh baked cookies anytime, great breakfast, swimming pool and hot tub. Highly recommend.

The staff was really nice they put the breakfast out early just so we could eat before we had to leave. And the rooms were really nice and clean. I really loved it there.

Located near the main road with local restaurants and a short walk from Main street, the Country Inn is situated well. Though it is on a "highway, " I was still easily able to go for a run starting right out the front door. The rooms were clean and professionally maintained. One of my children enjoyed an hour in the well kept pool. Breakfast was served in a room that seemed a touch small, but the selection was surprisingly large and well prepared. The "Inn" name complements the small town feel.

Nicest hotel you'll find in Platteville. Worth the price. Close to a lot of restaurants in town.

I travel to Platteville between once and three times a month. I have stayed across the street at the Super8 (not so super) and in Dubuque (great selection, but don't like the drive to Platteville). This hotel is the best option in Platteville, but it also costs the most. Now, onto some PROs and CONs PROs: -Pool (although it's only about 50 feet long and 20 feet wide, so no lap swimming — just lounging) and Hot tub -Microwaves/Fridges in most rooms -Flat-screen TVs (HBO) -Breakfast is free and varied — not excellent food, but it fills the belly -Close to Wal-Mart, Food and downtown Platteville -Friendly staff -Suites are fairly nice CONs: -Somewhat pricey -No real fitness center options -Bathrooms need to be updated (especially shower heads — seriously, consider bringing your own) -Rooms are dark, old (er) carpet I would recommend this hotel to anyone who wants to be in the middle of Platteville and willing to pay a bit more for cleaner, roomier options.
