Not that great as have to ride in blacktop roads & atv trails to get to the woody trails.

Excellent horseback riding facility. Everything was set up so nice. We were so comfortable and the horses could just relax. Super clean inside and out. And all smile from the staff. Thank You Spur of the Money for a great time 🐎🐎

We have stayed here many times. Snowmobiling and ATVing. Awesome cabins, friendly hosts, great location. Highly recommended.

Nice place off the in the woods nice and quiet plenty of space for vehicles and trailer for hitting the trail systems kids are riding the horses and donkeys.

We absolutely loved our stay. Wonderful hosts, clean cabin and bath house, it was outstanding! Just exactly what we needed, I only wish we could have stayed longer. Also being right on the ATV trail was perfect, no need to load up or waste time to trailer anywhere.

Spur of the Moment is right on the 4-wheeling, snowmobiling, hiking and horseback riding trail. Campground is small but very cozy for a group of 5 camping friends. Beautiful cabins for anyone who does not have a camper. Owners are so friendly and willing to assist in anything you might need. Love this place#

What can I say, this place is perfect. The owners are some of the nicest people you will ever meet. The cabin we stayed in was spotless and cozy and had all the amenities you could need for a trip. Full kitchen, gas fireplace, Dish TV, heated floors and full bathroom. Best part is you're about 50 yards off the snowmobile trail. Plenty of parking for your rig too. I will be back as this place rocks!

We came here to stay for a weekend in mid summer, for a family wedding. We got a basic cabin, with no bathroom. It was as expected — two bunks in the main room, plus full size fridge and a table and chairs, and two bunks and a double bed in the other room. The public restrooms weren't far, although nobody loves walking out in the dark at night to find the bathroom. They were clean and I have no complaints about them. We weren't actually camping this weekend, as it was more of a family visit, but I could see the camping amenities — places to grill and eat outside, and the ranch offered some entertainment in terms of wagon rides (extra fee, but they offered to my kids for free because their appointment didn't show up). I have one complaint, which was their electric fence for horses wasn't marked — my three year old daughter put her hand on it and received a shock which was upsetting to her. Maybe that's obvious to horse people, but we aren't horse people and didn't realize it. In any case it happened before I even had a chance to look anyway, she was excited to see horses and ran up while my back was turned. If we came here again I would probably spend the extra for a cabin with a bathroom, but if you want rustic, they definitely have it here. I'm not sure if they have campsites for those who would want to camp, but there is a public park with camping nearby also.

Fantastic campground! Everything has really been thought out and well maintained. Super easy access to trails. Safe and handy horse corrals. Dog friendly! We will most definitely be back!

Wow, excellent! Stayed there for a week with my son in the Maple cabin. Cabin was very nice, clean, and kitchen has everything. Owners are super nice, very accomidating, fun to talk with. Ranch grounds were clean and nice. We were there ATV'ing. The only negative was that the ATV map could have been better, it's kind of confusing. But that also provided the opportunity to stop places to ask directions, and talk with other ATV'ers. Everyone we ran into was super helpful and friendly. The ranch is right by one of the trails, so it was wake up, and hop right on the atv's. Super convenient. Everyone in every town was super, and the food was great everywhere we stopped. Absolutely a great place to go, both the ranch and surrounding area. We'll definately be back!

Bathrooms and cabins are clean and the well kept. The prices are pretty good too. The only downside is the limited selections of hiking trails in the area.

Everyone says they want to get off the grid, and then they get there and realize they are off and freak out. This place has the perfect amount of "off the grid" with the amenities of home. The scenery was beautiful. The cabin was gorgeous. The owners were both amazing. The horses were so majestic. The free range hens were so much fun to be around. This place is just wonderful. I could not recommend a place more.

Time spent at Spur for us is always so easy and relaxing. This was our 8th year with multiple visits some years!

It was a great mini vacation for my husband and I. We went in the dead of winter and it was so nice to be "locked" inside with the fire, books, board games and beautiful view outside. Would recommend this to anyone.

We had an excellent time. We went during the week so it was very quiet. They had stalls and paddocks for the horses. We got a little lost on the trails but had a lot of fun. The trails can be kind of rocky so if we come back we will definitely be putting shoes on our horses.
I would definitely come back as we had a lot of fun!

Spent memorial weekend there. Was great experience. Owners were very polite n eager to make your experience wonderful. Small campground so very peaceful, clean bathroom n showers with seemed like never ending hot water. Right on the main atv trail was great also. Definitely go back.

Had a wonderful experience, great place! Brought our driving horses, dogs and carts — fantastic trails to drive. Loved our Maple Cabin with the corrals directly across from us. The hosts are great people and very accommodating. Horses need to be accepting of ATVs. ATVers were respectful. We'd do it again!

We had a great getaway up north at your Ranch in early October. You have the best accommodations for our horses of anywhere we have been! I also love the option to put them in the covered stalls when it cold and rainy too. Your bath and shower house is the best hands down! We love your ranch and have been coming 2 times a year now for 4 years and will be back next year for sure! Rich & Diane, Rockton, IL.
