Econo Lodge raised my eyebrows at first… It's not much to look at from the outside, and it comes off as a little dumpy, but I was very pleasantly surprised when we got to our room. Beds were clean and very comfortable, room temperature is easily adjustable, and they make very good use of their space. Continental breakfast was perfectly good and was made available to us for several hours, which was very helpful. Staff was incredibly friendly. We will stay here again for sure!

It's a no frills hotel. But it's clean and quiet. The owner is a nice guy and responsive. Don't go in thinking it's the Ritz. You will get a good night sleep and a hot shower.

They do a very nice job, the couple that runs it is extremely nice. You can tell they are at least trying to fix up & update the rooms (they must watch HOTEL IMPOSSIBLE). It was just the little things missed in the room: old & outdated room binder with strong room number and no information on the motel, a few spots that needed touch up paint. The site said in room coffee maker, yet that wasn't true.

Inside the room was fairly nice, but the hotel as a whole was very dirty and gross.

Room was clean. Breakfast had very minimal choices. The day staff (female) was very friendly and helpful but the evening (male) staff was very rude and not helpful at all. Did not care that the Wi-Fi was not working for the rest of the hotel (he was not having any issues so to him was not a problem) and he got into a loud argument with another guest about their TV NOT working. He also did not care /wasn't really his problem (must be a satellite issue was his response). I'm not sure if it was his lack of English that made it difficult for him to relate to the guests or if he truly did not care. Pool was cold, hot tub wasn't bad. Not sure if we will ever take the chance if staying here again…

For the price it is a nice hotel. The beds are very comfortable, the rooms are attractive and quiet. The staff is very friendly. The continental breakfast does not offer a wide variety of items, but it had good basic staples. Nice pool. I would come here again.

No service at all. Attendant was never at the desk. We had to leave the key on the desk when we left because there was no one to check us out. Really uncomfortable bed and sheets too. Never again.

I called to make a reservation. I called the hotel instead of the reservation line. The man that answered was so RUDE. I stayed there last year with my family. Like last year, I asked for 2 infant beds/pack n' plays). The man said they no longer have those. Then he quoted me a room price $14 more than the online price. I mentioned that. Without any warning, he said "Ok, ma'am. You are demanding too much. I am not talking to you anymore, I am hanging up. " ?

Just a place to rest your head the continental breakfast wasn't very appealing to me what they had but for the price it was worth it.

Terrible customer service and the owner is vested in the employees. Employees go into your room when you are not there.

Room and bathroom need updating. Pool and hot tub were nice. Continental breakfast. Price was more than Motel 6 but it came with the pool.

Staff was wonderful. They were so friendly and out going. My husband and I and three kids stayed a week. They were absolutely wonderful with my children. Even though my kids are slightly energetic. I was nicely surprised with all of the work they are doing to improve the hotel. Nicely done. Keep up the wonderful job. We will definitely be back for our next stay.

Room was clean, but dated. Refrigerator and AC unit wirked well. Shower had weak pressure, but good hot water. Bed matress/pillows were very good. Would definitely use hotel again.

I woke up tonight itching like crazy only to find my bed covered in blood and bedbugs! I caught a couple and brought them to the front desk only to be told I will not be refunded tonight's stay because "they've had them before and they were brought in with the people" I am devastated as this was supposed to be a fun trip to get my new puppy as well as to be the first time I stayed anywhere away from home alone since turning 18 a month ago.

A group of friends and I went swimming there and it was very cheap! I'd most definitely go there for swimming again!

Room was clean and a good rate. But the AC was not working and couldn't sleep well as it was summertime and hot and muggy. Was really hoping to go in the pool in the morning but they have very strange hours 1 PM to 10 PM. Never heard of a pool not opening until 1 PM. Fix the AC and the pool hours and I'd add a star or two.

Clean rooms and prompt service. Will return.

Clean room, friendly staff, had no problems checking in. I would definatly recommend.

Rooms are clean and affordable, staff is helpful and friendly, and the hotel is relatively close to Wausau.

Good internet speed, clean rooms, prompt room service. Excellent place to stay nearby Church Mutual company at 5 minutes driving distance to old building and walkable from new building. I would recommend stay here!

Old and worn. Worth every penny.

The hotel is old and faded but the staff is wonderful and always willing to help you out. The rooms are worn but clean and quiet. We have spent several nights here and never have had any problems.

The beds were hard as a rock, the front desk did not know how to transfer a phone call to my room.
