Stayed here for a family wedding in the area. Right off the bat the ladies at the front desk were rude & didn't listen very well at all. Upon checking in we were told that if we were paying with cash that we also have to have a $150 deposit by either cash or card. That wouldn't be charged or money given back upon inspection of our room after our stay. Ok no problem. The problem was I told the ladies checking us in to put only the deposit on my card. Tried sliding my card a couple times first it said declined & then accepted. Ladies at the desk said they would have to call to make sure my bank card was valid, come back to tell me it's not a good card and we need to use another card or have more cash. Found out that the idiots were trying to charge me for not only the $150 deposit but the cost of our room for 2 nights as well. I was extremely angry and irritated by this. The other issue was our first room we turned on the A/C unit and had it on for roughly 24 hours and it just made our room even warmer on top of it being 90+ degrees outside… it was cooler out in the hallway than in our room. We did complain about this to the front desk and got switched immediately to a new room with an actually functioning A/C. The pool and hot tub were nice, the jets in the hot tub wernt too strong though. I didn't try the continental breakfast but my boyfriend did. He said there was not a whole lot to choose from. If I'm back in the area I will choose to stay somewhere else.

Very bad. Remote control had buttons that did not work. A light switch that did nothing. The pool was closed for cleaning, which was my primary reason for choosing this hotel over a cheaper one. The breakfast had very poor selection. I told them I wanted late checkout when I made the reservation and when I arrived, I put the do not disturb sign on the door and room service still knocked also received a call from the front desk asking if I wanted another night about a half hour before my late checkout. Apparently they did not get the message. Halls smelled of feet and dogs.

It is extremely close to UW Stout. There are some nice local restaurants nearby, and the hotel itself is cozy.

The super 8 wyndham is a wonderful place for kids the whole family and well especially the one located in Menomonie wis.

Workers were nice, but the pool area was the main reason we went and it was less than satisfactory. Very dirty, a lot of bugs and the jets in the hot tub were broken.

Cozy and Peaceful and not to far from lake if you would like to throw a line in the water!

Pretty much what one expects of Super 8 motels. Clean rooms, friendly staff, nice pool and hot tub, simple continental breakfast, and good Wi-Fi speeds. Easy access to and from expressway.

Had the basic amenities. Nothing fancy but the price was good.

Bed bugs!. Yes, you heard correct, BED BUGS. I woke up during my first night staying at Super 8 in Menomonie, WI with BED BUGS crawling all over me, with my four month old daughter sleeping next to me. There must have been 20 or 30 bed bugs crawling in the bed. Management was immediately alerted. To make matter worse, they did not seem alarmed by what I was telling them, as if this has happened before. They simply apologized and asked if I wanted to switch rooms. I would have switched hotels, but everything else was booked. The rest of the stay, they did attempt to make my stay more enjoyable. In leaving we requested a refund for the first night. Management said that this was not possible, as we booked the hotel through a third party website. Overall…disgusting, gross and unsanitary. One of the dirtiest places I have ever stayed. If you are staying overnight in Menomonie, do not stay here, or take the risk you will wake up covered in BED BUGS.

Great place. Super nice staff and nice clean pool. I swim there several times/week.

I found it all super Eights about a five star some a little less but that's the reason I Stay.

A little on the expensive side for what it is. Excellent front desk service from Terry, 9/10 clean room, 7/10 medium sized parking lot, 8/10 soundproofing, 7/10 bed, 6/10 bath, Fridge and microwave in the room. Breakfast was a little lacking, no fresh fruit means an extra stop for me.

I went for a dip in the pool only. The service desk was very curteous and quick to answer questions. The lobby and pool area were very clean. The other guest in the pool were very respectful and pleasant as well.

It was nice for the price. My dog got fleas from there though. I would rethink bringing my dog there again.

Convenient location. Clean rooms. Breakfast was lacking hot items.

Nice people at desk. Were able to change room to two beds with no issues. Our TV didn't catch a signal, called desk, they said they would come up to check but never did. Older facility, pool and hot tub marginal, rooms nice. Would stay again primarily because of service.

Reasonably priced. Pet friendly. Helpful staff. Not the newest, but a good stay for the price.

Friendly staff, but parking is slim. The pool and hot tub's water was green. Rooms were good and well-kept. Overall a decent experience, but nothing that will blow you away.

Not happy at all, chose to stay because of hot tub, but find out its out of service. Heat completely out of wack super uncomfortable had to open window. Awaken by loud buzzing, that turned out to be the refrigerator. Had to unplug cause it was so loud. Not returning to super 8 or any of their properties! My rating is thumbs down!

My family and I go swimming there it's a very nice local and reasonably priced way to spendvgoodvfun family time.

Got bed bugs from this hotel on October 8th 2017 after staying a few days. Do not stay here. Toilets also clog easily and I got a horrible hangover from drinking too much almost every night. Also lost my keys. Worst town ever.

It's a bare bones Super 8. No frills. Everything was in need of a remodel, the beds were hard, and the linens were sparse. Not much competition in the area, though. No glaring red flags.

Very nice, not too noisy. The breakfast has make your own waffles, hardboiled eggs, breads, bars, cereal, juice, milk, coffee.

It was really nice, they provided an extra bed for us and we had a nice stay. The provided bed felt pretty awful, though, but I don't want to rate this too low due to this seeing as it was just a makeshift one.

It was a fine stay… The first night there were a handful of disturbances after 10pm that I feel went on way too long (barking dog in a nearby room and people drinking and chatting in the halls). The next morning (closer to lunch time) an unleashed dog was walking around the breakfast area, with the owner distracted on a phone nearby and no employee seeming to care. A friend's sleeping baby was in a car seat on the floor, and we had to call the owner over when the dog got in the baby's face. Overall, the place is fine, staff is fine. An alright place for an overnight, but nothing outstanding.

Smelled horrible. Pool is open to the community (always full). Toilet wouldn't properly. The cleaner came around to mop floors and wash walls. But the water they were using wasn't even CLEAN it smelled HORRIBLE.

The whole place was dirty. The carpets were dingy and uneven. The pool had broken tiles and sewer flies all over it. Only good thing was the hot tub… if you overlook the sewer flies, that is. Plus it was way over-priced. Huge fail.

The pool was great and the continental breakfast was impressive. Beds were a bit soft and the pillows felt like cotton fluff but otherwise a great stay.

The staff at super 8 are awesome! However they need to clean the pool area better and more often!

First I want to say that I will never be visiting this nasty and rude place with my family again. Dirty tampons on the bathroom floor, my toddler almost touched it. I was disappointed in the service during the day. Employees goofing off being loud in the hallways it was impossible to rest during the afternoon. And as for whoever the rude man was running the front desk around the 5 ot 6th making your paying customers wait for long periods of time without help is extremely unprofessional. I dont think anyone was really even running this place come to think of it. Never again.

Only stayed to visit a friend but the staff were very friendly and the facilities were kept in top conditions.

YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR! So even after calling to the front desk, the loud music continues, people running up and down the halls. Won't be staying here EVER AGAIN.

The rooms was great even got a crib for my baby. The only bad things about our stay was that employees was smoking pot next to an entrance/exit. Then during swimming with my children there was a group of teenage girls all making out in the pool.

Worst hotel I have ever stayed in. They literally sold our room in the middle of our stay.

Stayed there for a week, nice and friendly staff, breakfast is alright, the beds were comfortable, the pool was nice, rooms are nice and clean, heard no noises at night, great place to spend a night at.

Good value, nice staff, reasonable breakfast and relatively comfortable bed. Didn't hear any noise from other rooms.

We stayed at the Super 8 in Menomonie Wisconsin on 08/20/11 — 08/22/11 to attend a wedding reception in the area and to visit some friends there. I stayed there 3 nights with my wife and 2 kids. The area is right on the highway so it was easy to find. There was all sorts of restaurants and fast food places that were walking distances. There was also a Wal-greens and a K-mart down the road. Our room was clean. The beds were comfortable and the shower and toilet worked flawlessly. As it should. The room deco was a little dated but I was fine with that. We also enjoyed their continental breakfast. They had muffins, bagels, toast, milk, juices, and a waffle maker. My kids loved it and saved us money on breakfast. My favorite amenity was not listed on the website when I booked my stay — They let you use the Anytime Fitness down the road for free! That was a pleasant surprise. I would definitely stay there again. Pros: — continental breakfast — clean rooms — swimming pool — access to Anytime Fitness — walking distance to fast food places, gas stations, and grocery store — ample parking — Staff were nice and helpful — bike trail around the area Cons: — Exterior needs some updating — Interior needs some painting — No refrigerator or microwave in our room (some rooms do, ours didn't).
