Fond du Lac East - Kettle Moraine KOA Westward Ho RV Resort Campground

Clean bath houses, planned activities, nice pools and rec areas. Asphalt roads makes it easy to walk.

I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND this KOA! The grass was 4-6 inches tall. The flies and bugs were absolutely terrible.
The site did not have a cement pad, so we had to set on out rug that tried to smash the tall grown grass… It was not a good experience, and to top it off we were having people stop by for a cook out and the site was so small, no where to put them on our outside rug…
HIGHLY DON’T RECOMMEND.

We were not very happy with this particular KOA. Everything closes so early you can't enjoy the simple amenities of the pool and miniature golf. The sites are way too close to one another so our obnoxious neighbors were double obnoxious. Then when we called for assistance, because our neighbors were loud, drunk and obnoxious well after quiet hours began, we got the voice-mail. Not only did we get voice-mail, but the mailbox was full. There is no kind of security here to enforce the list of rules they have. I wouldn't recommend this campground.

Definitely not a family friendly place. Loud partying and golf carts flying around blaring music at 3am yet. Sites are also super small.

A lot of fun with great people. They have a lot of things for kids to keep themselves busy. They have things for adults too. Relaxing by the pool is one of my favorite things.

Love the three pools that are here! Bathrooms are very clean!

Stayed 4 nights in one of their cabins in July and immediately booked for another 4 nights in August at the end of our stay! Would recommend to anyone.

Stayed for 7 days and enjoyed the experience but was disappointed in the following… pool was dirty and never cleaned, garbages were constantly overflowing with trash, kids activities were late and poorly run and drink special was non — exsisitant because the booze was never ordered.

If you're looking for a weekend full of loud music and drunk people, this is the place to go.

I went memorial weekend and literally everything except mini golfing was closed. There was nothing to do for the kids at all. You could have at least had the pools open since there is 3. We should have gotten a discount for all activities being closed. Cars were parked in our site and the cars were not even ours. Will not be camping here again.

Three beautiful pools well-kept hiking trails miniature golf Horse shoes so much to do for the family all around good time well staffed enjoyed our self in our cabin.

Because we have always paid extra to just drop off the camper a night early and we are now told they will no longer allow it. It's only allowed if our site is available but now they said NO MORE and were really kinda rude about it. Why not make 20 bucks for a site not used just overnight. That 20 is more than enough to pay the little electric used to run the refrigerator over night. We have come for many years and this may have to be our last.

Rv resort describes it best of all. Nice pool and very nicely landscaped. Lots of permanent residence, but all were very nice to us.

For a campground this is one clean place. Lots for the kids to do and even has a dog park. Staff is very helpful and friendly. One thing that is a problem are the golf carts going to fast.

Great family campground with tons of stuff to do for both the kids, and adults! Outdoor movies, goats to feed, 3 pools, several parks, activities and live entertainment on the weekends! We love it here!

My family has been coming to this resort for over 35 years. When SunRV bought the campground, they pushed us out of our normal area. Then about 5 years later they pushed us out of the new area. Now there isn't a tent area big enough for our group. 95% is now seasonal or permanent. We used to have so much fun, and would have continued to do so. Chuck Wagon workers need to be trained on proper GMP procedures.

Had a great experience last weekend at the Ho! So great, that this week we have been busy. Purchased a permanent site in the Flats, purchased a camper that was for sale in the park, sold our smaller trailer, and moving in this weekend! Enjoyed the amenities and the entire sense of "community. " So many of the permanent people were helpful, friendly, and fun. The staff was helpful and some of them even came to see us and hung out after their shifts. We are looking forward to many years of new friendships!

My family was a seasonal for 20+ years, now we just come visit 1-2 times a year and rent a cabin. This time, we came for Christmas In July. We were disappointed in the participation. In the 90s and 00s this weekend was so much fun — This time around I saw under 10 sites participating. Not even the lodge was decorated. Also no entertainment at all. This was disappointing. There was a movie on the Friday night schedule that never was played… and nothing on Saturday night…. I miss the old days of DJs, karaoke, outdoor movies etc. Talking to some "vintage" seasonals that I still around, we learned that almost all of the themed weekends are no longer. Even Halloween weekend is minimal. That being said. Our cabin experience was great. The staff was nice and friendly. I thought the campground was clean and well kept. We'll come back, but the bar has been set lower…

What a great Campground nice and neat so much to see and do great place to visit thumbs up.

First time back in 6 years and was very disappointed. The nightly sites are way to small. We didnt have the space to put out our awning and couldnt have a fire without risking either burning our camper or our neighbors. (Packed the nightly campers in like sardines) After alot of complaining they ended up moving us to a space that wasnt a site at all. The playgrounds are alot smaller then they use to be and no entertainment at all. After camping here for 40+ years I will not return anymore.

Nice, clean, well kept facilities and plenty to do for all ages.

Had a great time last summer — come by back again this summer!

This place is so family friendly and so much fun to camp at!

Greatly enjoyed my experiences with my family at this RV Resort. Many activities have been developed by the staff recreacion director for young and old. The grounds are clean and well-kept. Would highly recommend to anyone.

Very clean, has everything you can imagine for the kids and family. We had avery nice stay and hope to return with more family and friends.

Stayed for 3 nights. Loved the pools and the live music. The 3 pools were nice, but would have enjoyed a hot tub! Our tent site was good size although we were one of the only tents. We were right next to the woods, so plenty of nature to explore. All in all, it was a great stay! Will go back again.

Well managed, extremely clean and well-kept. Saturday night bands down by the bar are a bonus!

West ward HO is a very good place to kick back and relax if you're going to stay here I suggest at least 4 to 5 days.

Good at helping answer questions, friendly staff, 3 different pools, very clean bathrooms & showers.

My family really enjoyed our stay. Only issue was a stinky trash can but that just made us go and enjoy the 3 gorgeous pools and enjoy the wonderful activities that you offered. Some of the prices were a bit high in the gift shop but I have seen worse in my travels. We will visit again sometime.

Beautiful! Relaxing! Only reason it's a 4 and not a 5 is they have a TON of nit picky rules.

We stayed over with friends that have a permanent site. The bathrooms by the pool were disgusting. The rules of not blocking the fences with chairs so you can see your kids is ridiculous. Parents are supposed to be with their kids in the same pool area. So this made no sense. Also very limited chairs to enjoy the pool. The bar not being open on Monday during a holiday weekend was stupid. They could've made good money. It seems certain people can get away with anything but others get talked to about everything. The employess must not like kids as they seemed annoyed, rude, and impatient in the craft room. Also there were 3 of the male employees that spent a lot of time standing by the dog run smoking. We've been here before and it was great. This year not so much. Just thought it would be more relaxing.

One of the best campgrounds in the State! Very kid friendly with daily activities every weekend along with great entertainment!

No where on their website does it have their cancellation policy, but yet they charge $50 per site if you do not cancel more than 30 day prior to your arrival. So be warned.

Very friendly people (the guests that stay there that is, not management). Corporate owned, so they are only concerned with how full their pockets are and not with issues that need to be resolved, such as poor management and the list could go on and on!

Communication between Sun Resort (management company) and Westward Ho is bad. Communication between Westward Ho and its guest isn't much better. This RV park is mostly residents that live there in the summer season. The amount of daily spaces are very limited and those will full hook ups are even rarer. My advice is to simply keep on driving and not be taken in by Good Sam's rating and advice.

I am trying to think hard about a single thing that we DIDN'T like about this campground, and after having dug deep to get super nit-picky, we came up with that it only had 1 dump station. It made for a long line (5+ campers long) as you waited to dump at the end of a spectacular weekend. But that's the only negative we could come up with. Check in was super easy — they came out to your vehicle with all your paperwork ready to go. All you had to do was sign your receipt/pet waiver/etc. All the roads, hiking trails, and sites were clearly marked with large, easy to read signs. We also liked how all the roads were paved. We loved how large our site was. It was half shade, half sun, and all grass (so no dirt or gravel was tracked into the camper). They have many nice playgrounds scattered throughout the campground, so your site is always within walking distance for the kids to get to a playground. They also have port-a-potties by all the "attractions" (playgrounds, dog park, RC track, etc), so if you can't walk all the way to the bathrooms, you can always use a port-a-potty. Speaking of the bathrooms, wow! Most updated and cleanest campground bathrooms I have ever been in! Showers were free and you could control the water temperature. They always had plenty of staff riding around on golf carts cleaning, restocking, straightening pool chairs, picking up trash, etc. It was easy to find someone if you had any issues.

This place has good amenities for the family (3 pools, shuffle board, game room, small area with goats and lamas). With that said, it can be a bit overcrowded for those looking for privacy at their campsite. Visitors and people staying are required to fill out waver that allows the campground to take pictures when they feel fit of you and post them on the internet. They will not let you in unless you sign it too. I would rather go to a Wisconsin state park then to camp here. Less paper work, less crowded, better experiences.
