This hotel is definitely not worth the price it charges for a weekend stay. It's an adequate "cheap" hotel with comfortable enough rooms and a mediocre hot breakfast. I would normally think that a hotel of this quality would cost up to $100 per night but the standard rate listed on travel sites for Friday night was just over $200! For that price I would expect something better than a dumpy hotel that happens to be near Lake Geneva. The mattress was comfortable but the pillows were flat. Our bathroom had an unusual layout but I assume it was for accessibility needs. Most of the room looked nicely updated but the bathroom definitely was showing its age and had not been thoroughly cleaned because we found some used contacts on the floor under the sink. The pool was shallow but was great for my 5 year old. It was a pretty unremarkable indoor pool. The hot tub/jacuzzi foamed up as soon as we turned on the jets and wasn't particularly hot. The pool bathroom was absolutely filthy. We noticed that there was a sauna room that is currently being used for storage. I would have loved it if was functional.

Clean room, great complamentary breakfast, very freindly and helpful staff. Didn't use the pool, but looked like a nice size and clean pool area.

I was shocked at how adorable this hotel is! I was hesitant because it was a 2 star hotel, but it not enough credit! It is one of the cleanest hotels I've stayed at. The staff was friendly, area is safe, pleasantly surprised!

Very good! Continental breakfast was THE BEST I've ever had. As the brkfst goes, not just donuts coffee, & cold cereals… there was sausage, eggs, or sausage gravy. Tons of other goodies. Love this place!

Staff were courteous, and breakfast food was fine. Upon arrival, the alarm clock wasn't set to daylight savings yet, a dirty towel was hanging on the bathroom door, a long hair was in the tub, bathroom floor was sticky. Coffee was lukewarm in the middle of saturday breakfast,

Standard chain hotel, but nice. Staff is friendly. Rooms are standard. Nothing special but that's okay. You know what you're going to get. TV service is pretty decent, compared to other hotels I've stayed in. I did not try the pool. Location is great for me. Less than 5 minutes to get to my work location. It's off the freeway and easy to get to. It's on the other side of town, so if you want to get food, it's just a short drive. Quiet though. I don't hear much traffic in the area. Parking lot kinda sucks. Potholes, but winter in Wisconsin probably doesn't help. Personally, I enjoy staying at this hotel. I would recommend it; it's convenient and you know what you're going to get.

Needs a little cosmetic attention… But rooms are clean, staff is friendly, and it has a good breakfast.

The AmericInn in Elkhorn was very nice. It was clean and the staff was friendly. Our 2 night stay was enjoyable and relaxing.

Staff was nice and attentive, room was clean and nice, bed was comfortable and the breakfast was good.

Stayed here 10/28/17 and left on 10/29/17. Came for a wedding that was at 3:30 and needed to check in early. They were so accommodating and allowed us to check in early. Great room (116) with all the accomodations for people with food allergies. We have to pack and provide our own foods and were pleasantly surprised for a large fridge, large freezer and microwave. We didn't have to worry about constantly packing coolers with ice! Beds were comfortable and I can't remember the last time I slept as late as I did at a hotel. Wish we were staying longer and this might have to be a winter escape to bring the grandkids to swim.

Stayed here with my husband and 3 children. Our room was a great size and was nicely updated with a mini fridge and microwave. The pool/whirlpool area was AWESOME! Breakfast was also included and delicious. Would absolutely stay here again and recommend everyone book at this hotel.

Very nice hotel. Extremly clean and the pool/hot tub are great. Paid less then $140 for a room with 2 queens beds.

This was a great place to stay! The workers were friendly. The room was very nice, modern and clean. I appreciated the free breakfast and Wi-Fi! If I am in ever in the area again, I will definitely stay there!

Great service. Left my wallet full of cash atr the counter and was brought back to me too the room. Didn't even know it was missing until she brought it. Rooms are clean. Bath showers clean and clean. Over all it is a great.

We had a great stay. The staff is very nice. The rooma are comfy. The breakfast is good.

The room was better than I expected. It is right off the highway, but quiet. Breakfast was pretty good. Had a nice sized mini fridge! Held my pizza leftovers with no problem. Microwave and coffee station in room. The room was fairly quiet, outside and hallway noises were at a minimum.

Comfy, easy to get to & from. Clean. Love that there was a fridge/freezer in the room. A bit pricy, but worth it.

The rooms were clean as was the entire hotel area, the staff were very friendly and helpful, and the breakfast was great. We would stay here again.

We just went to utilize the swimming pool and not stay, but everything was extremely clean and well kept. The staff was extremely helpful and kind.

Nice friendly staff comfortable beds nice rooms was in the area for training for work the breakfast could use some help but other than that was a nice stay.

My husband and I stayed with our dog recently. The room was so clean and fresh. Looked like new bedding. The staff was very friendly and helpful, especially Nicole who worked the night shift. We ordered a pizza and our friends joined us in the sitting area. We would definitely stay there again!

Bathroom not clean. Hair in soap tray. Comfortable rooms. Very reasonable business rate and friendly employees. Would stay again.

The employees are very nice and accommodating. Rooms are clean but the bathrooms are very small. The sink and vanity are separated from the toilet and shower, so that can be a pro or con depending on what you're into. Breakfast options are pretty slim but the basics are provided.
