The Meier Inn, A Country Bed & Breakfast Hotel

Peaceful atmosphere and a beautiful house. The hosts are very kind and accomodating. The breakfast was awesome!

Such an excellent place, in an excellent spot! Eric and Sandy are so accommodating and kind! Everything was so perfect, we will definitely be back! I will never ever forget my time here, I got engaged during my stay! Best night of my life!

When you drive up the views are fantastic and Eric and Sandy are so welcoming and treat you like family. You instantly feel at home and at peace. The house is warm, charming and beautiful. Anyone of the rooms you choose is going to be perfect. You can tell with everything they put in the room they are thinking of their guests comfort. The best for last is the outstanding breakfast, I can’t describe how great Sandy and Eric cook. Don’t book a hotel go to The Meier B&B you will feel so relaxed and peaceful. Thank you Sandy and Eric and we loved the cats and cows too.

Sandy and Eric are wonderful hosts that go above and beyond for their guests. The views from the property are amazing and plenty of things to do close by.

Such an amazing place and an amazing couple who run it. We had a blast staying in the Zen room while in town for a wedding. The food was delicious and primarily sourced from their farm. Eric was also kind enough to take us out to see their cow herd.

This is one of our favorite places to stay. So quiet and peaceful, the service and food is out of this world!

If I could give this more stars I certainly would! The location and views are outstanding. It's nestled in between lots of trees and lush farm land. I can't say enough wonderful things about the hosts! Our breakfast was first class and Sandy & Eric's attention to detail was impressive. I wish we had planned to stay here more than one night. It's obvious they take great pride and pleasure in making each guest have a memorable stay. You won't be disappointed!

My wife and I wanted an easy getaway before baby comes. We were so pleased with our stay at the Meier Inn. Our welcome was warm. Since we were the only guests that weekend we got to see each of the four beautiful rooms. All have private baths, two with tubs. We chose the Zen room. Our morning view was beautiful. Our dietary needs were met to our full satisfaction. Our breakfast was several cups (a pot?! ) of their freshly roasted coffee, delicious gluten-free lemon lavender bread, wonderful mushroom omelette made with their farm-fresh eggs in the relaxing sunroom. We didn't want to leave — one night was not enough to enjoy the Meier Inn. We definitely will be back to see what those 40 acres look like in the green of spring or summer.

Including being greeted by the sweetest little kitty in the driveway, the Meiere Inn immediately felt like a homecoming. Sandy greeted us at the door and she was so warm it felt like we were long lost friends. I wish I could offer you smell-o-vision so I could express how amazing it smelled in the inn, like great cooking and pumpkin pie, so welcoming on a windy Nov. Day. The House it's self is spacious, beautiful, homey and immaculate. So many little areas to sit and enjoy yourself, both inside and out. The bedroom was cozy and the bed was amazingly comfortable, loved the fireplace. I enjoyed the little bedtime snack and cocoa she set out for us in the evening. In the morning I felt so pampered as they served us a 3 course breakfast that was fresh and local. Even more impressive was that she had to make our breakfast gluten and dairy free due to allergies and she didn't bat an eyelash — btw she makes the best homemade gluten free muffins I've had! Above and beyond, we enjoyed the walking paths around the grounds. Look for the tree swing for two up on the hill overlooking the pasture. A dreamy experience. I would definitely visit again!

This has to be my absolute favorite B&B Eric and Sandy have a beautiful home in the beautiful country. Breakfast is something you would be served at a 5 star restaurant. We have stayed here twice and I know there will be a 3rd time in the future.

Eric and Sandy are amazing. You feel like you are at home the minute you walk in the front door! Trixie and Oscar are fun too! They are the cats! The rooms are so wonderfully decorated. You can feel the love that has been put into this bed and breakfast. The food in the morning is always fresh from the farm and healthy for you! Take some time and relax and the Meier Inn.

I wish I could give Sandy and Eric 10 stars, they are such a joy and their B&B is beautifully built amidst stunning farmland. Sandy and Eric serve a 3 course breakfast with food from their land, even coffee that they roast themselves! I can't have gluten or dairy and Sandy went above and beyond to accommodate, she is an amazing chef/baker! I will definitely be gifting this place to others in the future, I only wish we had found it sooner!

A Wonderful escape to a scenic and welcoming retreat. Our room was totally comfortable and relaxing, best sleep we've had in months. Breakfast was a deliciously unique experience that we enjoyed immensely. Sandy and Eric are the best hosts anyone could ask for, we felt like we were among family the whole stay. Go there to experience being pampered and rejuvenated.

The Meier Inn should be a regular stop if you are in the area. A 5star with 5star staff ;) Eric and Sandy truly love what they do and it is evident in everything the Inn has to offer. Our family was so impressed with our first glance of the property itself; rolling hills, green grass, walking trails, fire pit and a beautiful historical looking home. We settled in and had the most comfortable king sized bed and homemade lemon bars awaiting. After a great nights sleep we arose to breakfast. This is just one of the areas where Eric and Sandy shine! Do not miss out on BREAKFAST! Our breakfast every morning consisted of 3 courses with hand roasted coffee beans, home grown apples, granola made in house, fresh local fruit, several low sugar nutritious baked goods and of course fresh laid eggs prepared in all sorts of delightful ways. Listening to the care that was taken to source and prepare the meal was almost as good as the meal itself. This also gave us the opportunity to know Eric and Sandy. What a memorable stay we had. We plan to make it an annual stop. Thank You Meier Inn!

My wife and I had the pleasure of staying at the Meier Inn last weekend. Sandy and Eric were delightful and attentive hosts. The grounds were welcoming and scenic. The room was cozy and comfortable. The breakfast was delicious. Three courses each morning, with just enough to be pleasantly full. We went for a hike at Glen Hills County Park; a relaxing afternoon. If we get the chance to go again, we’d like to stop at the blueberry farm and the Winery nearby. All told it was a wonderful way to spend a weekend.

Eric and Sandy are fantabulous people. Anyone would love to stay here for many reasons, but the hosts are one of the biggest reasons. Quality people = Quality experience!

This was our first B and B experience and we loved it! Sandi and Eric have set the bar high, I cannot imagine a better experience. Their home is beautiful, the rooms perfect, and the breakfast is amazing. All homemade and served with the finesse of a fine restaurant.
