What a beautiful hotel! They thought of everything when building this from the ground up! Loved our stay.

Awesome place to stay. Many things to do nearby. People people are great and make you feel appreciated.

I enjoy Holiday Inn, bar staff is always very nice and fun to talk to while wlpicking out my spirit of choice. Front desk staff are not always available and I at times need to wait a bit or ask for someone. But once you get the lay of the land very nice location!

Recently our client Gavin Tabor stayed here after a performance in the city and was very quick to let us know how wonderful the experience was! The staff was very friendly (even after midnight) and the room was perfect, very clean and quiet. There was plenty of room to fully relax and re-pack after a few days on the road, and with the on-site restaurant it was easy to get a bite to eat before hitting the highway again! Thank you for taking such great care of us and we're looking forward to working with you again soon!

Nice rooms, beds seemed smaller than your typical queens. One of the elevators wasn't working and it took at least 5 minutes to ride it every time. Shuttle service to downtown was excellent.

Receptionist was very pleasant when we walked in. Informed us of the restaurant and bar area. We were on the third floor, not the best view as it over looked the highway, however, the room was clean and bed was comfortable. We didn't use the pool but we took a look at it. Seemed to be a nice size and the kids that were swimming looked like they were having a good time! Check out was quick and easy. The lady asked how our stay was and hoped to see us back soon again.

Hosted a wedding reception at the Holiday inn. The staff was very cooperative however the room itself could be a bit nicer. Quality of food was decent.

Stayed here before with good results. This stay was pretty bad. Under construction with only 1 elevator working and the construction crews and staff have priority… Forced to use the stairs to get to our 4th floor room. Two weddings were booked here and the boom boom boom of the party was incredibly annoying late into the night (even though we were on the 4th floor). We're on our fourth night and still no housekeeping service (even after contacting the front desk 3 times). The staff has a bad attitude and management must not care. I am an IHG Spire member… it must be really bad for people without IHG status. We come to Appleton frequently to see grand kids. No more stays at this place.

In middle of a remodel but other than that decent just very dated until they're done.

I checked into this hotel and worked at the desk in the room for a few hours. When I decided to take a break, I noticed a bedbug crawling on the pillowcase and another one under the sheet. I scooped up the two bedbugs with a little hotel info card and a tissue and presented them to the person at the front desk. He seemed sincerely sorry about the situation but said there was nothing he could do because the hotel was full. He suggested that I sleep in the 2nd bed instead of the 1st one. I tried to sleep in the car, but I didn't feel safe doing that. Instead, I checked out, canceled my 2nd night there, and slept in the upper deck of the Appleton Police Department parking lot (after calling them first to make sure it was legal and okay). Knowing this, the person at the front desk made no effort to place me elsewhere. He did hand me the phone so that I could reschedule my canceled 2nd night at another hotel. I noticed at 7 in the morning that someone from the hotel had left me a text message (when did hotels start texting their guests? ) at 10:30 the night before to ask how the room was — this was before the "discovery". I responded that there were bedbugs and that I'd stayed the night in the APD parking lot. She got her manager to comp the room and said I'd be welcome to come back for my 2nd night. (To the bed bugs? ) It took 4 days for me to write Holiday Inn a not-angry-sounding complaint letter, to which they have not responded a peep.

Clean and well maintained room. Friendly staff. They accommodated our soccer team families and put up with loud children. Two downsides. 1. The over-chlorinated pool. The indoor pool area was so hot, humid and chlorine-pungent, your eyes burned. 2. The hotel is being renovated and only had one working elevator. Would I go back? Yes. Use the pool? No.

This was by far the best Holiday Inn I have stayed at. Very very nice staff and very comfortable rooms.

Staff went above and beyond! Everyone, including the bartender were exceptional. The morning of our departure, the staff went out of their way to open up the dining area early so my daughter and her friend were able to have a good meal before their volleyball game. We will stay here again!

Eighth floor currently under major renovation. Seven floors to go. Beautiful hotel.

5 star for sure. Booked using ihg app and went down 2 hours later and they were ready. However I wish the ihg and the holiday inn had a better way of communicating the options that you can choose on the app. I booked the room and they had $10 upcharge to get two breakfasts for the next morning and for another $10 you received 2000 points. The front desk had no confirmation of this. But she was really nice about it and gave us the coupons after I told her the rate was higher because of these option. Moving on to the breakfast the next morning. Talk about weird, from walking into the place and getting seated by a grumpy lady to watching the customers make weird requests. This was a great place to people watch… we were lucky to get Nick as our server. He is the only reason I would ever eat there again. He seemed fairly new, but he was super polite, and to top it all off without even asking he gave us to go cups for coffee. I hope he moves on to bigger and better things than having to work with that older lady who is a crab.

Very rude staff. Seemed like they didnt know what they were doing. The GM "Mac" smelled like alcohol. Won't ever go back.

Nice venue for large group events. Our party was around 200 attendees. Food was good, bartenders and wait staff were friendly and attentive. They are in the process of remodeling to become a DoubleTree hotel later in 2018, so it will be even nicer when renovations are completed.

The staff here was super great, especially Paul. Our kids ended up getting sick during our stay and Paul went out of his way to ensure we had everything we needed to care for them. He even covered up our oldest and said "goodnight princess. I hope you feel better in the morning". Couldnt have asked for a better stay given our situation.

For some reason, this hotel is the only one I’ve stayed at that locks their room TV so I cannot use me amazon fire TV stick. Mind you I’m in hotels roughly 80 nights per year and my TV stick works with no hassles anywhere else. There is a ‘trick’ to get some models to work apparently. Maintenance is here right now but can’t get it work. Looks like only certain rooms have TVs that are unlocked.

Clean rooms and super friendly staff. I highly recommend this hotel if you're going to Green Bay for a game. Appleton is about 30 minutes from Green Bay and there a plenty of places to eat and hang out when you're not at the game.

Great entry, cafe and bar area. Bathrooms are outdated. Nice pool area with some games for the kids. I didn't see a machine to grab some toothpaste and toothbrush but there are stores close by. Good morning coffee. Elevator makes some noises and floor moves a little. Good artwork.

Close to downtown and alot of nice unique shops and restaurants. Cozy beds and helpful staff. Room service food could use a little work but overall a good experience!

Stayed here the night before a Packers game. Three stars because it was just OKAY. Cons: Bed was super uncomfortable with not enough blankets. Hotel itself is quite outdated. Pros: Good front desk service. We requested a mini fridge and they sent one up to our room with no problem. Easy access off of the interstate. We used our IGH rewards points and really like that program. Would probably look into other hotels if visiting the area again, but this one was sufficient for our trip.

Room was very spacious. Front desk staff was friendly and welcoming. Comfortable beds, shower water pressure was outstanding. Refrigerator and microwave can be accommodated at no charge. Marlon's restaurant at the hotel was mediocre at best.

Exterior and lobby seem modern and spacious — but don't let first impressions fool you! Room was small and very outdated, especially for the price. Lights mounted just outside windows prevented any views at night and TV didn't face toward the bed. Would give 1 star if it weren't for the 24/7 pool and nice buffet in the morning.

I stay at many Holiday Inn hotels and this one was as great as the rest for service. The only difference that I experienced was that it seemed to be a bit louder and I was saddened that they don't have the mini-Keurig dispensers! I know, I know. It's the little things! Overall, still a good place to stay, just not my favorite compared to many of their other locations.

We were here as guests of Pierce Manufacturing. Rooms were great, Hook and Ladder lounge was awesome. Great time.

I participated in a meeting in the Kimberly room. It was right by the lobby and a little noisy, but not distractingly. Our service and food was very good.

Went there for a wedding, tried calling hotel for a week straight. Could only get through to front desk staff, who could not help me and kept referring me to the wedding coordinator. Left voicemail and called on average 3-4 times a day. Never recieved a phone call back and never could get ahold of the coordinator. Went to front desk to see if I was able to get the discounted wedding price, to which they rudely told me that I needed to contact theme a month before in order to get the discount. Many other things went wrong throughout the whole process. Very poor service would never recommend anyone to have there wedding or reception there.

It was clean, but the beds were extremely small and low to the ground compared to similar size rooms at other hotels we've stayed at for about the same cost. We were right next to a maintenance closet which we were worried about, but it wasn't a problem. It could use a little updating, but for somewhere to just spend a night, it was fine. The employees all seemed pleasant and knowledgeable.

Rooms are nice and seem new, very comfortable. Restaurant and bar, meeting rooms, fitness and 24 hr pool. Excellent for the rate.

Great staff st the front desk. Heather was good hearted and smiling the whole time. The room was good. Clean. Comfy bed and pillows. Shower head was eh. Good place to crash.

SUCKS! The front staff were rude, I am staying at this hotel because it was prearranged by the company I am doing business with. I am here for 2 weeks and we were told that our stay arrangement included the use of the 8th floor lounge. When the front staff were asked they became angry and insisted we were not allowed to go up there. I am currently with 2 other individuals with the same company and they were yelled at for asking the same question. Apparently the hotel is changing over to a Doubletree and some of the employees are being let go, so the rest of staff are disgruntled. This morning I wake up only to find that all of the elevators are out of service, I am on the seventh floor and I have a heart condition so I now have to contend with this. After making my way to the 1st floor only to find that the restaurant is closed. This is great because I have just taken medication that requires that I have food after ingesting. They put out cupcakes but being I am a type 1 Diabetic I can't eat sugar. Now I have to make a exhausting trip back to the 7th floor to get my things to go out and find something to eat. To top all this off my TV in my room has been broken for my whole stay. If it is turned off, it doesn't want to come back on. I have to disconnect the TV from the cable box and unplug the power on both and power them up not connected then connect them. I reported this to the front desk and they sent up a building engineer that doesn't know anything about electronics.

Easy to find. Rooms were clean. No continental breakfast so you're screwed there. Hit the hot tub up and all is well.

Hotel was clean and staff was helpful to guide me in the direction I needed to find the conference room.

Honestly some of the worst trained staff and most disrespectfull employees I have ever been around. Complete lack of customer service. It seemed as if. Every question or inquiry was an inconvenience. Will never stay here again.

Room was fine. Could not get hooked up to Wi-Fi.

Holiday inn in Appleton was very accommodating and the staff was willing to go out of their way to help me when I asked. The room was very clean and the front desk answered promptly. I would stay here again.

This review is for Brides considering booking here for the shuttle service for off-site venues. My advice: don't do it! My reasoning is as follows: When I first had contacted the Holiday Inn about getting shuttle service for my guests they had told me that with a certain number of rooms booked I would have shuttle service for the day/night of the wedding. I had mentioned that I had a large number of people who were coming to the wedding and I was guaranteed that my guests would be accommodated. I could only block a certain number of rooms at a time and had asked if when the room block was filled that I be contacted. This is where the first troubles started… I was never contacted by the hotel when my room block was filled and guests had contacted me to tell me the block was full and then in turn I had to contact the hotel. Three separate times. Once I had 60+ rooms booked here I had called to figure out what times I should put on the shuttle service card (every half hour, 45 min and how long round trip it would take). It was at that time I was told that I was only allowed four scheduled times there and four scheduled times back… and here's the kicker, the "shuttle" or what I like to call van, only holds 12 people (all of which would have been nice to know at the beginning of the contract! ).

Please update the Wifi, the internet here is very slow 240 kbs max past 6pm. That might have been useful 15 years ago. Staff and service only thing that holds this hotel together.

Stayed here the night before a Packer game. Wasn't too busy, was clean and is pretty new. Receptionist had issues checking us in but got it eventually. DON'T stay in Room 522, had the worst nights sleep due to extremely loud vents/air, not really sure. Every time It started it woke us up and every time we went to contact the staff it stopped. Got the hotel on a great discount so we just dealt with it. Pool is 24hrs so that's a nice bonus.

Have stayed here a few times and I nothing negative to say about my stays this hotel and it's staff are top shelf always a good sleep and a smiling face it's nice to have someone call you by name when you walk in.

Room was clean and staff was friendly. My only complaint would be the water pressure is a bit lacking in some rooms. My co — workers had mixed results in their rooms with this problem. No big deal. If you happen to be tall, you will need to crouch down under the shower head. Otherwise had a nice time, for a business trip.
