Bed was terrible! Had a huge dip on one side of the bed as if someone had been sleeping there for months. It was so bad you would practically just roll off. Did not sleep. And to add to it the water spelt like sewer. Like we felt like we had to use bottled water to rinse our mouth and felt dirty after a shower. Terrible experience!

This place was literal absolute garbage lol. Overcharged x4 — dirty rooms — mold — filed a police report and lawsuit coming. This franchise needs to be shut down.

I stayed in this hotel on August 14, 2021 and was billed a second time for my room on August 30. I have called the hotel multiple times as well as the main Best Western customer service number. It is now the second week in October. The fact that neither the hotel nor corporate customer service has done anything to resolve this issue is simply unacceptable.

Dirty bedsheet and cover. No one picked up the phone in front desk. We checked in at 11 pm and we had to go down and complain. The sheets and bedcover felt like had poop stains. Yuck it was the dirties room ever.

Arrived @ 3:25pm. Had to wait 30 mins for our room but the clerk was very nice & polite.

They canceled our (4) rooms with no notice leaving us with no other option but to drive an hour away to stay at another hotel. Horrible customer service! Front desk worker who also claimed to be the owner tried to blame everyone else for the situation including me when I know for a fact I never canceled the rooms. And then he offered no kind of compensation whatsoever. Never again!

Worst customer service we've experienced in 9 years of staying in Best Western hotels all over this country. If you've earned any Best Western travel cards, they refuse to honor them. The night clerk and day clerk were both very rude and absolutely refused to honor our $25 travel card even after Best Western customer service told us they weren't allowed to refuse to honor it. We make this trip every few years and we will NEVER stay at this Best Western again. They DO NOT CARE about good customer service (we paid $130 for one night for our room so it wasn't cheap).

Friendly people easy check in.

Super friendly and clean! Loved our night there. Comfy pillows and beds. We all slept like babies. Breakfast was great! Plenty of selection.

Give your employees respect, that is earned.
Don't be a bunch of lying people, shady, talking about employees behind their backs. Have owner take a moral Owner needs a class on "How not to be a dirty racist, rich immigrant. Former GM shouldn't talk about employees to other employees, cause she ain't got a leadership quality. Yeah I'm talking about Amanda Todd.

Very polite staff that's is what it's about l don't like renting a room for 100$ and other hotels act like your just there to destroy rooms or something really felt respected here.

Stayed here during summer and came back 5.5 months later. The staff are wonderful people. Highly recommend BW. Close to restaurants, mall & shopping. Breakfast is hot. The staff definitely deserve a star rating.

Great place to relax. I will most definitely be staying here again next time I am in town.

The lady who checked us in was great I have no problems with that everybody was very professional the décor in the room was simple and inviting. Loved the accent wall the breakfast was okay they had a lot of choices and it was nice just kept running out of eggs not enough put out at a time so people had to keep waiting and the breakfast area was so tiny everything felt like it was just on top of each other. The air conditioning in the room didn't seem to reach very far from the window unless you wanted your room like an icebox and turned the air conditioning way down. The blackout curtains oh my God there was this big gap underneath that let a bunch of light in any way. The pool was nice, I guess, obviously not heated however the air in there was hot and so stifling with the smell of chlorine that it made you sick to your stomach they had some kind of a lift for people with wheelchairs to be able to get in the pool however the way the chairs were set up and the area was so small that there was no way of that anybody in a wheelchair could even get to it and getting to the actual Hotel was a nightmare up around the corner down the lane behind the other five hotels don't get me wrong I love Best Westerns and I love this place to staff as I said before was great in the décor is great I think everything looked amazing just needs a few things too improve one's stay.

We were visiting a family member at the Sanford Medical Center and the location was a short and convenient drive and the rooms were very comfortable. The staff were always very friendly and willing to help. We would definitely stay again and highly recommend for business or pleasure.

The rooms were great. We stayed 2 nights. The second morning, breakfast was busy and by the time we could eat, it was closing time and they didn't have and hot food. Other than that, it was great and we enjoyed the service.

Stayed there going to, and coming from Sturgis. Clean rooms. Comfortable beds, and good breakfast. Lots of places to eat within walking distance.

Room was very clean and inviting. Nice and cool when we got in and the AC hasn't missed a beat on these hot days in Sioux Falls. The morning breakfast is very good with lots of seating. The location is kind of in the middle of several hotels and businesses. It can be tricky to find the first time. All interactions with staff have been pleasant. Lots of shopping and dining options nearby.

All of other hotels were booked since there was a concert. I called to get a room the staff was friendly our room was perfect. We traveled from California so we stayed in a lot of hotels this was our best one. Breakfast was really good they kept the area supplied and organized. My favorite was the fact you had Smuckers Blueberry syrup that's my favorite. Just a great experience room 313 was perfect. I would definitely recommend it.

Great place just the side door needs to stay locked for safety.

Overall the room was fine — beds were good, decor was nice and the staff was friendly; however, the sink was plugged (which I don't understand how a plugged sink doesn't get discovered by the cleaning staff when they're in those rooms on a daily basis). Also the walls seemed very "thin" due to the fact that every time someone shut an exterior door the walls in our room shook and made the other bed in our room bang against the wall. Also, there were two instances of a car outside our room after midnight in the parking lot with their music booming which came into the room and vibrated the walls. The building itself just didn't seem very structurally sound and cheaply built. We have generally had great experiences in the past with Best Western, but sorry, we will not be going back to this one.

I love staying here, it is quiet and the staff are very friendly. They have a great breakfast, the rooms are cozy, clean and comfortable. This is the only place I stay when I go to Sioux Falls.

The staff is wonderful! Very friendly. Continental breakfast is great. Bed on the hard side which maybe isn't bad. Pillows are the best! We both forgot our toothbrush and were able to get a couple from the front desk. The only negative is the room smelled of cigarette smoke even though it's supposed to be a smoke free room. They charge a $250 fee to anyone who smokes in the room for "cleaning" and yet…

The room was spacious, with the beds being quite comfortable. The included breakfast was more than adequate, especially considering the overall price of the room. With the exception of a washcloth that was left over from the previous guest, the room was spotless. Ultimately, I have nothing but praise for this establishment.

Staying in SF? Stay at Empire Towers! Excellent price, excellent customer service. Very clean, helpful and caring staff. Close to interstate so easy to get where you need to. Shuttle bus to hospital.

Our room was very clean and seemed updated. The hotel staff was gracious and kind. Our stay was rather noisy with high schoolers staying in most of the rooms on our floor. The bathtub wasn't draining properly, but I imagine it just needs a quick fix. The continental breakfast was pleasantly stocked. We would stay here again.

The staff at the Best Western Empire Towers were extremely friendly and helpful. The interior of the hotel appears to be a little old, however don't let that deter you. The rooms themselves stack up with essentially every other hotel. Their breakfast that they served was phenomenal. You're choice of waffles (with any topping), eggs, biscuits and gravy, muffins, juice, coffee, and cereal. They had it all. The price for the quality of the stay stacked up well. I would definitely stay again.

It's very nice it has an original service, and the hotel is very clean, in a nutshell I was pleased to be staying at this hotel.

Love this place always clean friendly and often offer free upgrades if available. I would say been given complimentary upgrades 40% of our stays just because they were available! Perfect location for food shopping and drinks within walking distance less than a mile.

This room we received was an upgrade to what we had reserved, and was very nice. Everything was clean and well kept. The staff was friendly and the breakfast had a good variety of choices. The location is close to the freeway as well as local eateries and a mall.

The hotel was clean and neat. The staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcomed and comfortable. Great place to stay!

Overall it was a pleasant, dog friendly stay. 20 dollars a night fee per pet per night seemed a little high, and the room could have used a good cleaning at least once during a 3 day stay. Good breakfast and nice room.

Comfy beds, good breakfast, and nice pool. A short drive off I-90 but it was worth it to have a free breakfast in the morning. The hotel is close to lots of food options and plenty of delivery available — we ordered from The Pizza Ranch.

Never staying here. Booked a room a week ago for my boyfriend and I after he completed his AIT training. Nowhere on the website does it say you have to be 21 to book a room. He checked in online last night and all was fine. Arrive at the hotel and the woman behind the desk was very rude to him, and would not let us stay there. Right before he tried getting the room key, she allowed a girl under 21 to get a room. She disrespected a soldier, and allowed another person to do the same thing we were trying to do but couldn't. Terrible service, and need to update website and clearly state that you must be 21.

Nice room. Comfortable bed. Clean. Pet friendly without any hassles. Large field nearby for dog to run around in. Would stay again if in the area.

Great experience at this facility while staying there to go to a Garth Brooks concert! Friendly and helpful staff, great breakfast, provided shuttle to my event, clean and modern. Consider staying here when you're in Sioux Falls!

This Place is the best! Right next to a very nice BP Station, Across the street is the Empire Mall. And to the West of that is the Texas Roadhouse! Can't get any better any nicer any closer than that! Oh yeah! The people and the rooms at the Best Western there are very very nice! West 41st St just before you get on I-29!

Two floor hotel with no elevator. Not convenient to carry numerous bags. Very close to Mount Rushmore so we saw it in thecdaylight then went back at dark. Great pet area for our dog! Breakfast was very typical. Nice hotel.

Lovely well decorated hotel. Great staff, they were very helpful. Breakfast was very nice although I was a bit surprised there was cheese in the breakfast omelettes. The rooms are well decorated and have everything that you would need for your stay. The beds were very comfortable. The towels could do with being a bit bigger. We had a great stay.

Stayed for two nights while my nephew and myself were up in Sioux Falls for a concert in early August. Can't say enough good things about this place. Great and friendly staff. Rooms were comfortable, bed was a little too hard for me at first but once you got used to it I slept like a baby. One of the best breakfast options that I have ever had at a hotel. The options changed from day to the next day. Really only complaint I have is it is a little hard to get to in the middle of a parking lot but other than that I will be staying here any time I have to do an extended stay in Sioux Falls.

Great stay, great price for a family & pet-friendly hotel. Very clean and well-kept. Will be back next time we're through that way.

I can't say enough about the great experience I had while staying here! From check in to check out the 4 days I spent here for business was great. What a great accommodation for the price! Everyone is so polite and friendly making sure I had everything I needed. Everything is so clean throughout the entire building, comfortable beds with nice sheets, great shower and a good breakfast! The chocolate chip cookies are great also, I was always looking for them! I will be back many times this year making this my only hotel destination in the Sioux Falls area. Thank you for the comforts of home!

I accidentally left an item in my room at checkout. When I inquired on it I was told it was not in the room so I must have it because the maid denied seeing it. I searched my bags completely and did not have it. I remember exactly where it was the last time I saw it. And am certain it was not packed when packing to leave. Yet rather than investigating the general manager brushed my complaint off saying she trusted her maid so I or another person in my party must have it. My party consisted of me (I don't have it) my mother, who doesn't have it, and my 21 month old son who doesn't have it. I feel they did not take my concern seriously and that it was taken by a member of their staff. I am highly disappointed in how they handled this matter and will not stay there again.

This motel is in need for a refurbishment. We first got the room 109, but it had a nasty smoke smell. Then we got room 111 which also had a pungent smell. Finally we got a room on the third floor (301) which was acceptable. But the old air conditioner still spread an unpleasant smell. Wouldn't stay there again. Also, if you want to visit Sioux Falls and not only stop near the highway this is not the best location. On a positive note, the breakfast was better than what's usually provided at motels.

Nothing fancy but not a bad place for the price. Convenient location and plenty of food and places nearby.

Had a room larger than we were expecting! Very roomy even when traveling with family and 2 dogs!

We stayed last week (3/15/16) when a snow storm had us stranded in Sioux Falls. The guy who was at the front desk during the day was so nice! As was the gal on night shift! The beds are so comfortable! Slept like a baby! And the breakfast was delicious. Big variety! The showers were also amazing, had to practically drag my husband out :) We will definitely be back! Keep up the awesome job! The Dana's.

Amazing customer service. Pool was broken for our stay and manager not only convinced priceline to give me a refund but took the time to call their sister hotels and get me a deal. :)

The service was friendly, but the place is pretty outdated and the pool was pretty dirty… with so much chlorine that our kids coughed the whole time they were in the pool room.

The parking lot is a bit difficult to find, but otherwise the stay was great. The room was clean and as advertised, all of the staff were friendly, and the breakfast was good. The breakfast attendant in particular was really sweet.

Great room, friendly staff, warm cookies at the front desk, comfy beds, tasty wolf gang puck coffee, great location, no hottub but pool is sooo warm and nice, like bath water! The breakfast was awesome, they had waffels and had strawberrys and whipped cream for it. They had cereal, omelettes, ham, bagels, muffins. So delish! Great expierence.

Very decent stay seeing as Sioux Falls is so small. I don't even think they really do have a 5 star place. Overall, pleasant. Hot cookies made by receptionist, rooms quiet and clean. Flat screen TV's, clean pool. Right across the street from the only real mall in hundreds of miles. I will definitely stay here again.
