DO NOT STAY HERE! My stay with hotel was awful. There were dead insects on the bathroom floor/wall, the toilet ran NON-STOP the whole time I was there, there were soiled towels folded in with the supposedly clean towels, it was nasty. The straw that broke the camel's back happened the next morning. I tried to take a shower and the shower DID NOT work! I asked for a refund and there resolution to the problem was for me to stay another night with a small discount applied. I am still waiting for my refund. Seriously, DO NOT STAY HERE! I have pictures if you would to see them.

There's no breakfast to speak of but they do have clean, comfortable beds, nice towels, good showers. Definitely pleasantly surprised.

Decent size rooms, my room was clean hardwood floor, internet access room has microwave and min fridge, coffee machine, hair dryer and iron board. They also have on site laundry room which isn't very big but it's convenient. My stay was comfortable and I would stay again. They even accept cash payments.

Let’s see where do I begin, I DO NOT and I repeat DO NOT get a room here. We had to change our room twice. First room had broken door handle and light fixtures were flickering off. So changed to another room and it was just as bad. The drawers had weed paraphernalia, ashes, nasty wrappers I mean just disgusting. Notified the front desk and nothing happened. I wish I could upload pics. I’ve already contact the BBB. This red roof needs to be shut down.

We booked a room here because it was literally the last room in town. While check in service was lovely, everything about the hotel itself was beyond revolting. The towels were so dirty they had black streaks on them. The faucet in the filthy tub was broken so I could not shower after 27 hours on the road. The blanket was stained. The worst part was how immediately we started itching after using the towels to wipe off in the sink. I don’t know what was there, but definitely some kind of bug I kept being bitten by. Did I mention I paid $200 for this room? It was so awful we checked out and drove to another city and paid for another hotel. I would NEVER stay here again.

If you prefer a room that is clean then look elsewhere. The bathroom was uterly discusting. Just because the rates are low does not mean filth is acceptable.

Walls are very thin so you can hear everything your neighbor next to you is doing and saying. I had a really bad experience at this place I was given the wrong key to another room and someone was already in that room. I screamed so hard that I broke my phone screen and the only thing they could do was to say sorry and give us a verbal 15% on our next stay. Like as of I would go back. Also, the room didn't have a remote control and the bathroom is filthy.

I guess you get what you pay for when it comes to Red Roof Inn Columbus Northeast Westerville. The room smelled like a chain-smoker had lived there for 20 years. I immediately called the front desk to inform them that we were not responsible for smoke scent, nor would we be paying for it. The floor was covered in long strands of hair and residue of leftover food. The white bed sheets had a strange dark stain on them. Overall we were highly disappointed with our stay here. I also have pictures to prove the facts stated above. Red Roof Inn… never again!

This place is disgusting! I'm only staying here because the senior tech that I'm traveling with is a cheap ass, but upon inspection of my room, I found dirt and filth everywhere! The bathroom looks as if it hasn't been cleaned in days, the floors have grim and debris. And my room looks like it was in the middle of several projects and all of them were dropped! This place could be nice if it were maintained, but as of right now, don't bother with this hotel.

Check your bank statement after staying at this place. I was charged FOUR times soon after check-in. ONE valid charge for the amount of the room (about $80), two $100 charges (if there is a security hold, it should be for the amount of the room. Just like it says on a sign at the window), and a fourth $20 charge (why? ). The girl at the front desk didn't even tell me how much the room was going to be before charging me. Just handed me a receipt to sign. When I went to get my checkout receipt and tried to bring up the unauthorized charges with the girl, she just cut me off mid sentence and told me to take it up with my bank. Nice. So until these charges drop or my claim reverses them, I'm $220 poorer. I don't stay at the red roof because I'm rich. Jeez.

It was ok… Just a regular hotel. Feels very shady at times and it hard to get to from the road. I would honestly consider staying elsewhere. The hotel is not dirty… Just dated. Keep this in mind.

Our room was clean, staff was friendly. We stayed 2 nights and didn't have any problems. Good hot water and lots of shopping centers and restraunts near by. We will be back. Thank You.

I stayed here for a few weeks while working out of town. The rates are great and the rooms are tolerable, if you can live with the roaches. The continental breakfast, or lack there of, is a mediocre selection of cold items and bread. After reviewing my credit card statement, I discovered they had charged me an extra $700 for a week after I had checked out and claimed that I left something in the room, so I must have been staying (nothing was left). The incredible part, was that I checked into a different room the following week so I had two rooms at once and they didn't inform me! They refused to refund my money even though I had my check out receipt. Also be sure to hide any valuables because the maids have sticky fingers!

Rooms were reasonably clean except a toe or finger nail in the corner. All else was good. Non-smoking room seemed to smell faintly of smoke. Bedside sconce lights weren't plugged in and neither was the bedside plugs. Overall positive experience — almost completely clean and a roof overhead for the night at the right price.

Great price. Very nice and clean rooms. Wish there was an ice machine on the second floor but that's the only improvement I can think of.

At first room seemed ok but upon further investigation there were tiny black hairs all over the sheets and the backside of the top sheet had too many stains to count. The ceiling in the bathroom was an uncompleted drywall job with globs of drywall mud amd dust falling while showering. Stayed due to them allowing dogs but I honestly wouldnt even have my dog stay there. Very cheap overnight accommodations but the price reflects the quality.

It was very clean and the rooms have been updated. The furniture seemed new, they have laminate flooring, and the decor was very nice for a motel. The bedding was fine, the mattress was firm, the pillows were okay. There was free Wi-Fi and the staff reassigned our room when we asked due to loud neighbors. No complaints and I'd definitely recommend this place!

Everything was good but did not provide water for morning coffee.

I can't believe I stayed here! At the end of the night… I was more than happy I did! Very comfortable room!

The room service was horrible. They never changed the trash or swept the floors. The breakfast food had flies crawling all over it. The house keeping left trash bags set out all around the facility over night. Then they told us it was not their problem when we complained at check out.

For a lower end hotel with few amenities for the budget conscious traveler this place is FABULOUS! I have stayed here a few times and it has always been postive except one time I did not have the cleanest room when they were short staffed but other than that time the rooms always have been really nice and clean. No bed bugs, no hair everywhere like other reviewers said and it is a VERY SAFE, upper scale suburban neighborhood that is well partoled including this hotel. Two police men waved at me as they drove by earlier, which I thought was a very nice way for them to welcome guests that are traveling to their City. The pool is small but it is also nice and clean with some lounge chairs. Vending machines and even an outside sitting area near the pool with a grill. Front desk always personable and friendly. Cable TV, nice sized flat screens, Mini-fridge, microwave, coffee pot and hair dryer in all the rooms. Friendly soft light lamps, air unit works good and comfortable beds for a cheaper motel. For $10 more than the Knights Inn I LOVE staying here for the price and nice updated rooms.

Very cheap room prices and well taken cared for than any other Red Roof in I've seen. Great location near several places to shop and grab some food. Breakfast included in the am. Not an upscale Inn by any means however the beds are comfortable and the rooms gave refrigerators and microwaves and flat screen television. If you need a great stop over or a cheap place to stay in Westerville for a couple days, it's a nice spot.

Clean rooms. Plumbing was a little noisy. I could hear the shower in the room being us.

The beds were not made for 2 people (1 big person). The room looked very nice. The outside was dirty. The pool was very dirty. Would not ever swim there.

What I expected for the price. Kind of had to drive around a cemetery to locate it. The room was clean & cleaning was fine. This was my boyfriend's choice of room. Breakfast was cereal… friendly staff & service though!

Check in was easy and polite. Room was had a comfortable King bed. A Refrigerator and Microwave were also in the room. Which was nice to see as sometimes the rooms do not have them.

It was a nice place. Stady their four a month passing thro. Was looking four work the owners were very nice people. They gave me a job the place was very clean and neat I always till other nice place to stady.

This is a typical Red Roof property. Rates are reasonable. Rooms and service are as expected. Would absolutely stay again.

More like a nice motel, but not that nice. No complaints, but nothing spectacular. Employees seem friendly.

Red roof inn is located near many good retaurants. The parking is good, which is not always the case for hotels near the Columbus area. The rooms are clean. And the heater kept the room a comfortable temperature all night. Not too cold. The service is very good. We needed more towels and they brought us the towels very quick, less than a few minutes. The hotel is overall decent. The continental breakfast leaves a little to be desired. The choices were limited to cereal, milk, juice, coffee, coffee cake, muffins, bananas, apples. It would be nice to see a little more variety in the breakfast choices.

A lot depends on when and which room you have. A low cost convenient motel. If you want perfection it will cost you more in this area. Nice staff…

This place sucks. First thing I do isa always check the bed for clean sheets, sure you're saying how you do that? Well first you pull the sheets down, look for hair ect. I just did my normal check here and found, cracker or cookie crumbs all over the bed, head hair, and down towards the bottom lots of public hairs, and then to top it off, bed bugs, yes bed bugs, hundred or so. So needless to say I ran as fast as I could and got a refund and went somewhere else. The person at the desk acted fine when I told them about the bugs, so they know but don't care and dirty sheets to boot, stay away from them if you don't want bugs or something else.

This hotel is terrible! The owners treat their staff like animals! They talk down and threaten their staff and they don't know how to treat people with respect. I would never stay at this hotel. The owners need to learn how to treat people with kindness.

Do not stay at Red Roof Inn. The door would not open because there was something wrong with the lock. Their fix to that was just make sure someone is always in the room! The bathroom fan was loud, coffee pot dirty, bathroom was dirty. Breakfast is a joke. The hotel tried to charge me for 3 rooms and blamed it on Expedia.

Most unclean nastiest place I've ever been to! No towels in our room right off the bat I had to hunt someone down. Then had hair all over our bath tub, sticky nasty stuff on the night stand, my 2 year old son found 2 beer caps! And one of our towels had hair on it! Never again as long as I live… oh and the pool was disgusting! And yes the front desk people are so rude and will take you for every penny you have.

The room was clean big, beds were comfortable. The comforters were updated but with light color alot of stains on back side. I never use them so this was a non issue for me. The hot/cold settings were backwards on sink and shower but once that mystery was solved that wasn't an issue. The bathroom door could of used fresh coat of paint. But seriously for the price I was very happy! The only thing that disappointed me was the breakfast. Muffin, danish, apple, banana, cold cereal and juice. If toast or bagel were and option I would have given 5 stars. If Id of known I would of brought oatmeal or bagel.

I was VERY disappointed at how I was treated as a repeat customer at this motel. My last visit was a month ago. At check-in, I inquired if I had been given my AAA discount. The male clerk said I had been given a special rate. After I checked out and received my Folio, it showed a Rate Plan of "BAR". I went back to the Front Desk to inquire what the code meant because I didn't see where any discount had been applied. I explained how I inquired at check-in about the AAA discount. The female clerk said she'd talk with the male clerk who was on-duty at the time and would call me back the next morning. She didn't call me back. So, I called her, and she said the male clerk denied any conversation with me. I informed her that he wasn't telling her the truth. Since she told me she was the co-owner/Manager, I asked if she could provide me with the credit. She wanted to know when I would be back in town. I said I didn't know, and would prefer my credit card be adjusted accordingly. She said she'd start the process with another person in her office and it would take a few days. A week later, no adjustment appeared on my credit card account. So, I called back. She wasn't available, and I asked to speak to the other co-owner/Manager. This time I was transferred to a male. He also wanted to know when I would be coming back in town, and I told him I didn't know. He tried to credit my card, couldn't and said he'd send me a check. He took my address, and I thanked him.

Don't blink coming down Cleveland Ave. The entrance isn't easy to find. Other than that it's a great place to stay.

I love this hotel. Nice and clean. Great staff. Breakfast. A beautiful town! Keep it a secret. Call ahead its booked up a lot.
