2017 cheap basic stay 2018 update For a $50/night hotel my expectations are not super high. I didn't mind the phone cord that was cut or no towel rack, but the Wi-Fi didn't work and the A/C barely managed to keep the room cool. Stayed here last year in a different room and had no problems with either. I didn't contact the desk with the Wi-Fi issue — I assumed ther won't be able to do anything about it anyway. Other than that, an OK place to lay your head at night.

Clean rooms, very well taken care of. Very nice, very friendly staff. Inexpensive stay, located next to the turnpike also a plus. I'd definitely be staying again!

Great inexpensive stay. Room was clean and motel was Quiet. No breakfast but the amount you save on the room compared to nearby stays more than makes up for it.

All of the other 4 and 5 star reviews are telling you the truth. Super lovely owner, clean rooms, fridge & microwave that worked (! ) and super comfy beds. It’s pet friendly with a small fee, yet the room did NOT smell at all, and the surrounding property is grassy and clean, and very safe for a single woman to walk dogs at any time of day or night which is always a deciding factor for me when I choose a hotel/motel. The Wi-Fi worked well (I was in room #29), as did the air conditioner, and I’ll note that I wasn’t here in the dead of a hot humid summer. THE BEST THING? The have a Roku box as part of their television cable system! You can sign into Hulu, or Netflix etc. And watch your fave shows or a movie! This is the first motel I’ve ever seen that (and I travel from Los Angeles to NYC and Canada couple times a year! ). The one not so great thing that others mention in their reviews is the water drainage. It does indeed suck, but in my room it was only the sink, NOT the shower so it’s not a dealbreaker.

Pleasantly surprised by this random budget motel. Great big tv. Comfy bed. Clean. Powerful heater got the warm toasty right away.

This hotel needs a lot of work. Best not to stay here if traveling with children. Best not to book for more than one night. The Wi-Fi worked well and it was very quiet though.

I stay at this hotel from 2 years I come here for fair ground. I can't explain how awesome this hotel and special the family run the hotel Anna and Ricky they are sweet and helpful. Rooms are great clean, organized and have coffee in the room that all I need for what I pay its cheaper than another hotel around best western their price is $150 for weekdays and they just have breakfast and pool same room size I stay over there for few years and then Rodeway-inn open I move there now and just pay less and not to forget without asking they give next year reservation that's what I just love it :)

A cheap (but obvious why) place to just sleep and go. Some issues we had were: >Toilet paper was missing from the room, and was not restocked the following day either. (Really! ) >A bath towel was replaced with a hand towel (Have you tried drying/covering with a hand towel! ) >A dead bug remained in the middle of the floor for the whole 3 days. >Coffee was not replaced after use We didn't encounter any issues with bugs in the room. We were going to mention some more of the issues on check out, but the lobby isn't manned, and we didn't want to chase down the 'made cart' (their spelling not mine) to tell them. I appreciate its a small town, and not a big money maker, but an extra 2 minutes on housekeeping and care on room stock does make a big difference to a guest. I'll stay across the road next year. It would be worth the extra $

This hotel was extremely clean. It's not a fancy hotel. It is modest but very comfortable with an efficient staff. We would definitely stay here again.

Surprisingly nice. The people that worked there were very friendly and helpful. Good decent Wi-Fi. The beds were really comfortable, and it had a nice shower. Wouldn't mind staying there again. It's also within walking distance of a Subway as an added bonus.

You get what you pay for. My room was clean, bathroom was clean, carpeting was vacuumed, in room coffee was good, A/C would make a Eskimo cold. The only thing is it is very dated. Which isn't necessarily a bad thing. It was cheap and a good value for the money. If your on a business trip and just need a place to shower and sleep… it's perfect. If your entertaining clients of guests go elsewhere.
