Though the rooms are a bit small the hospitality more than makes up for it, and being able to have a nice conversation with the people who run it is a delightful experience in it's self. I vote 10 out of 5 stars on this little slice of peacefulness.

Very out dated but the owner is very welcoming. Friendly.

I could not get the cable TV to work. The Wi-Fi was fine. The Fountain Inn has a historic location on the Lincoln Highway that Carl Fisher promoted. The Van Wert Inn has weeds growing around it. Fountain Inn is near the YMCA, the library, and the store on Main Street.

Close to downtown. Reasonable price.

Loved it here. Dee and her mother are very fine folks and will go out of their way to make sure everyone here is takin care of.

The ladies at the front desk, mother and daughter are very sweet and caring people loved the atmosphere and vibe I get staying here. If I could give it ten stars I would.

Rooms are small but service is good.

Very dirty! Mold on shower curtain! Hair on toilet! Old hangers from previous person! Didnt care for the smell of marijuana throughout the place eithor! Had to buy toilet paper and cleaning supplies! Should have slept in my car!

Absolutely disgusting here. You can tell the room wasn't cleaned. Bathroom had black mold on shower curtain, hair on toilet, can tell someone shaved in sink and didn't clean up there either. Had old dirty hangers hanging up. I took pictures of how nasty it was. They supposedly lost my reservation as well. I will absolutely never return here again!

Very pleasant. We were working in the area. Convenient to downtown and a park next to the Motel. Comfortable and clean. The owner was very kind and accommodating. We recommend.

My sister and family stayed there during their recent trip. They would like to express their gratefulness for there hospitality and warmness during they stay. Thank you all so very much! The rooms were very clean and beds were comfortable. Again, Thank you and next time we visit I know that is the place we will stay.

It's pretty run down. The sheets are worn out and mismatched. One of the pillows smells like the last guy who slept here… at least his cologne smells nice, lol. My room was small and oddly laid out (an extra sink in the bed area and an old stove tucked in a small section by the bathroom). On a good note, the Indian woman running the place is nice. They are pet friendly for an extra $10. It's also conveniently located to downtown area. Overall, it's your pretty standard run down, cheap hotel. Roll the dice and see what happens!

I thought for the very low price it was a very nice place to stay. The room was very clean and also came with a microwave and fridge which I was very impressed with. The staff was super friendly and the little girl was alot of fun. I will recommend this inn to others and will stay again.

We just spent the weekend there the place was wonderful very clean the manager was always trying to go out of her way to make us comfortable. If your looking for a place to get away its a small town very peaceful I recommend it.

A great place to stay. Dee and mom make everyone feel welcome. Clean rooms great prices and close to alot of Van Werts attractions. They make it a home away from home.
