The hotel is completing renovations currently but the nice, clean, spacious rooms make up for that. Great rates, even better with CAA. Friendly staff. We got the last room — 2 queens and a set of bunk beds!

No, I would never recommend this hotel. They do not respond to problems and thefts from your actual room that occur at this property. Left many messages for Ruby the manager. She called once and said she would investigate and would call me back — she didn’t. I continued to call and leave messages. Finally 3 weeks ago, Donna called and I thought this issue was going to be resolved. I never heard back from Donna. Today, I called and a Victoria answered and said neither Donna or Ruby was in. I asked when they would be in and she said she was not allowed to say. I called back and asked Victoria who was the actual owner of this property. She said it was Hitesh and they were local, but did not give a phone number. I tried to locate Hitesh to call, but couldn’t find a telephone number for them. Called Corporate and they are having their upper management call back within 48 hours. $2390 was stolen from our room, in it’s place was 9 clean pillow cases.

I can deal with the remodel, it would have been nice to know beforehand but that’s fine. My real issue is that I am in town for a funeral and needed my check out time pushed a couple of hours due to service time. Mind you the total stay would still be under 24 hours total. But they can only give me an hour which is going to mean my spouse will need to leave early to get our belongings and pet. Just unfortunate when it’s the middle of the week with an empty parking lot. Will keep note for future travel.

The room we had on the ground floor was very nice and clean. There was new carpet and the new carpet smell was strong at first. The bed was very comfortable and the bathroom was clean. Staff was very friendly and helpful.

We've stopped here a number of times before and it was always lovely, but our trip in July 2018 was terrible. When I booked it I was not told that the location was under construction — the pool (6 year old kid — you need a pool) And the Wi-Fi were temporarily unavailable. By the time we arrived we were too tired to argue and it was too late in the evening to cancel the reservation. I called LQ rewards to try and get my points refunded. They helped me file a formal complaint, but said that it was up to the location to release the points back to me. Several emails — no luck. Lot's of places to stay near Dayton — We'll never stay here again.

This was my first time staying at that hotel. I have not had much luck with that brand however I was desperate this go around and needed a place to stay that could accommodate my four-year-old and my dog and it was my only option. I was pleased when I walked in to have a brand new room that had just been renovated extremely comfortable beds very clean bathroom extremely friendly staff and the breakfast was very delicious. The price was great my stay was wonderful I will absolutely say at this location again.

Let’s see, where to start… The pool was closed even though we called and they told us it was open. The entire second floor seemed to have issues with the air conditioning. Needless to say it barely worked and the room was very hot. In addition our room didn’t have the proper amount off pillows, the bed was dirty, the floors were dirty, the bathroom toilet wasn’t cleaned, two of the main lights didn’t work (broken bulbs), dirty laundry from another guest was left in our room, they didn’t have anymore pillows to provide us even though half the hotel was undergoing renavations…
The breakfast was terrible, the staff was short and rude… I definitely will never recommend staying here nor will I ever stay there again…

The people were very nice, there was heavy construction when I was suppose to stay. The pool was closed so I didn't end up staying. If I would have stayed might have gotten 5 stars.

I liked the price and the place was adequate. Hot shower, bed, and a continental breakfast were all just adequate. Their parking lot is spacious and well manicured. It is located close to everything.

Even during remodel it was very clean and staff was very friendly.

I have stayed at this location every year for the ten years I have been attending Dayton Hamvention. Great place to stay. Friendly and courteous staff. Rooms recently remodeled.

We are very comfortable here. The one small defect was that the pool was closed for remodeling and we had planned on using the hot tub. No biggie. The staff is very welcoming.

3rd year no pool. 3 of 4 light fixtures were broken. Several other issues. Going elsewhere next year.

The hotel itself is nice enough, but it's nothing super quality. There's little more than a clean room, standard comfort bed, and free breakfast, because at my recent stay the pool was closed for renovation. There was also the issue one room that smelt incredibly strongly of cigarettes. As of late April 2018, the pool will likely be closed for some time, so keep that in mind. The hotel is also within walking distance to a handful of fast food restaurants and a Bob Evans, as well as close to a gas station and pizza delivery, so if you're needing food without transportation you're comepletly out of luck. Overall a decent place, but doesn't do much besides the basics.

Very, very disappointed in my stay. A family member will be moving into the area, so we will make several trips there, but I will go elsewhere next time. I booked this hotel because of the pool, even called ahead, but when we arrived the pool was closed for remodeling. We arrived late at night, and greeted by a guy in a hoodie, very strange and unprofessional looking. We were rudely awakened at 7 am by a very loud buzz saw cutting into the wall for the remodeling. I understand it has to be done, but couldn't they wait till 9 when people have checked out or are at least awake? Or don't put us in the room next to the pool? Another couple we talked to was also awakened this way and unhappy. We got to the free breakfast at 8 and all the hot foods were gone. No attendant. However when I told the desk clerk, she did take the time to fill it and was very apologetic. Then to top off the tranquility, a barking dog staying there wouldn't shut up while we ate. The hotel was clean and beds were soft, but the 7 am "saw wake up" ruined the stay! I think I will try the Holiday Inn Express next time.

Our room is dirty and the entire building feels dingy. There is hair in the shower and on the counters, dust and water build up in the bathroom corners, cobwebs hanging from the ceiling and generally feels very well worn. I hope my parents didn't pay much. The hotel is updating their pool instead of replacing outdated and well worn furniture, carpets or paying thier cleaning staff. I felt the need to check for bedbugs based on the condition of the entire place. None were found. It may have fleas as it does offer a place for pets which is a plus for some that they are allowed. I will happily stay somewhere else.

The hotel was horrendous. Booked room 3 weeks in advance. The manager who took the reservations failed to say that the hotel was going through room renovations. The manager also failed to say the pool was going to be closed. This was one of the reasons I chose this place was so kids could swim in the evening. The noise was unbearable during the day. Couldn't sleep in or enjoy the room in the morning. The heater in the room didn't work, you either froze or sweated, no in-between. Asked manager twice and they didn't fix the problem. Sink stopper was not present. Twice accidently dropped something in sink and had to get maintenance to retrieve. Stopper never worked properly. Save your money and go someplace where the basic amenities actually work! Terrible place to stay. I will never go back to this place.

Older LaQuinta needs to be up dated. First time to a LaQuinta I didn't like. This is one of them. They need help. I will not be back.

Nice hotel to stay at. We spent one night and had decent sleep.

Large, clean room and they allow pets. Friendly staff. Very economical. What's not to like. We have been there 3 nights so far with 2 more to go.

The good news — Undergoing refurbishing so hopefully these problems will be fixed. The wall unit A/C screeched all night, hallway smelled like stale smoke. On the other hand, the pool and hot tub were clean and warm. Breakfast was the typical "hotel waffles, " cereal. The coffee was HOT and good. If under $75, do it!

This is the second time I have stayed at this location. Each time, the rooms have been clean and comfortable and the staff have been very nice. I will not hesitate to stay here again. The site is quiet (my room overlooked a corn field), the parking was nice, and everything was clean. Currently the staff are excited about the new renevations that are in progress. It will be nice to see the outcome.

Friendly and accommodating staff. Housekeeping was even so awesome as to make my son's bed with his own blanket.

I don't know why there are so many decent reviews for this place. Very dated rooms, hard bed and could feel springs. Room was really smelly (like wet dogs) and carpet felt damp. Toilet wouldn't flush either and solution was just to bring us a plunger to keep in our room.

Called them an hour before a wedding after a mixup with our Airbnb meant we had nowhere to stay the night. We were quickly accommodated to a room and still had enough time to grab an Uber to get the venue on time. Super clean facilities and great customer service! Would definitely recommend!

We were there one night, staff was super friendly, dog friendly, price was decent. Room was clean and comfortable. We didn't take advantage of pool or the complimentary breakfast so can't say on that.

I have stayed at a lot of La Quinta Inns because of my doggie. I believe the
La Quinta Inn in Tipp City is one of there best Inns.

This place is a BAD joke. First the room was in terrible shape. Broken chair, broken phone, Internet was not working, stains of the sheets I had to have replaced, TV issues, and FILTHY carpets. My grandson spilled some juice on the floor so I took a white hand towel from the bathroom and wiped the area. The towel came up solid BLACK~! Breakfast was supposed to be until 10:00 am but we got there at 9:18 and there were no biscuits for the pot of gravy and they said there were no more to come~! Then there were only pastries and cold cereal. Oh and waffles. We witnessed several workers with bad attitudes and semi rudeness. I think they are overworked and short staffed. The hot tub in the room I got my daughter was dirty around the drain. But here is the kicker, on our second day, a hotel employee called me up on my cell and was very rude telling me to get out of my room~! I was shocked and bewildered because I had paid for both our rooms for the two days already. We were not to check out until the next day. We were at a museum with family & friends and I had tons of people around me. I tried asking what she was talking about and she went on getting really nasty with me after I told her repeatedly I had already paid for our entire stay. This went on for 10 mins~!

They accepted a phone reservation at 1:00 am, and accepted my dog with no upcharge. Got a king suite on the ground floor (at my request) for beans, free breakfast, and a noon checkout. The indoor pool wss temporarily closed, but I wasn't planning to swim. It was an excellent experience for a weary traveler.

The room was clean and in good condition with some nice perks. It included hd cable with HBO, a coffee maker, a mini fridge and an office desk. There was free Wi-Fi but both my husband and I had issues with trying to access the internet because it kept dropping. The bed was a very comfortable and clean king size with a pillow top mattress, plenty of fluffy pillows and a pretty comforter. Check out time was noon instead of many rooms which require you to be out by 11am. Though we didn't take advantage of it, a free continental breakfast was available from 6am to 10am. The check in process was easy and the staff member that I met was friendly and helpful. I would stay here again and recommend it to others, although there didn't seem to be much to do in the area.

I was on the 1st floor near the door only to find out that I did not have curtains. I had a thin sheet in front of the window. The light post light outside came in my room all night. Not to mention my coworker and I had to do a late check out Un planned and the lock on my door didn't want to cooperate. After the 4th or 5th time to the front desk the attendent was getting frustrated with me. Not my fault. Also found a opened soap container the night I stayed and felt like I was a nuance to ask for an unopened one.

Was there for a wedding. Holiday inn across the street was the official hotel and fully booked so we stayed here for less money. Thought it was better and cleaner than the holiday inn.

We stayed in rooms 306, 311, 301, 114, 203, 110, 209,, 114, 205, 306, 319, 219, 311… for nearly 4 months we stayed here at LaQuinta, Fairborne. What impressed me the most was the fact this is an animal friendly hotel, dogs and cats I saw and I NEVER smelled them in any of the rooms I stayed in, no cat box smell not even a left over flea jumped on my leg. This hotel is neat clean and and the staff were always smiling and happy to get you what ever you needed. Brenda the manager was friendly and helpful, her staff from the counter to maintenance were incredibly nice people. Breakfast was bountiful and hot, the assortment of options were plentiful, the pool and weight room was clean and always stocked with towels. I would stay here again 1000x over. This is a safe hotel, tucked away in the back. We loved our stay and will stay there again in a heart beat.

Great location! friendly and helpful staff… pool and jacuzzi; right next door to bob evans and big boy! some rooms have king beds with jacuzzi right in the room! ruby is the new manager and is making some serious changes!

Service was the worst in my career of travel. With one exception, the desk staff members were surly. There was never a manager present to speak with; yet, the staff on-site would simply state that they don't have authority to do anything; that only resides with management. On my checkout I asked the desk staff member if the manager was present and she said, "no", and then asked if there was anything she could deal with. I said "no" and asked for the GM's name and contact info. The desk staff then began adversarial argumentation with me. I stopped and said, "listen, I'm not having this exchange with you, okay? ", and left. In retrospect I never did call the GM, as I have no intention of pleading a case to someone who runs a business in this manner. Even though my itinerary had errors, I dealt with paying any differences. But I had personal property (clean laundry; hand-washed) removed from the room when housekeeping thought I was checking out, and site staff refused to concede any possibility of this.

Everything is great. Only downside is the painfully slow Wi-Fi.

Great that they allow dogs, but the pool opening times are too restrictive if you want a pre-office swim or (like us) have a swim crazy kid. Late to open, early to close. Useless! Room is clean, bathroom needs a refresh, but there's a working fridge, comfortable beds and good TV.

The rooms and room service were wonderful. It was right by a few restaurants which was perfect for what we were there for (20 athletic girls are always hungry). The rooms were spacious and clean when we entered. The only problem was with the pool area. The hot tub was out of service for all 4 days we were there and there was too much chlorine in the pool area to the point it was burning our eyes and throats.

My stays at La Quinta are always similar no matter which location. The rooms are decent sized (the ones I get for my family) and the staff are friendly. Breakfast is great and I never have noise issues with other guests. The one thing about my stays that I don't like as much is the bathroom in the room. Depending on which location you go to, the sinks will either be outside in the general room or I'm the bathroom itself. Usually there is mold in the shower along the edge of the ceiling to the wall. The sink water pressure isn't always enough to make the water come out at a regular rate, making washing hands or brushing your teeth a little more difficult. Otherwise, La Quinta hotels are my go-to hotels. I'm very satisfied with La Quinta.

Four night stay, not too small rooms with a microwave and fridge. You could only close the fridge door when you hit the stand it is build in really hard with the door and the marks showed a lot of people have done that before us. A clean functional bathroom. Rooms are clean. We had a recliner right from the early 1970 which showed all the years and didn't match the rest of the modern furniture. A drawer in the dresser was damaged as well. The lady at the front desk is more interested in her i-sheep phone than what's going on around her. Only the free Internet is slower than that lady. First time ever I had to use my data on my phone because it's that slow that you can't even load a simple page or update your emails, apps without a timeout. I'm not talking about mega downloads. Just simple everyday let me check the news or weather is impossible. Felt like back in 1995 with still an already 20 years old chair in the room. At around 8.30am they start running out of orange juice and most of the continental breakfast and won't refill it even if you ask. Since there is plenty of hotels in this area I'm pretty sure we won't come back.

Not the best LA Quinta I've stayed at bit still better then a motel. The kids were so excited to get to the pool and when we arrived it was closed for repairs. If I had known we would have stayed someplace else. After being all settled for bed we found a dirty band aid next to the bed. Bathroom could have been cleaner and the doors didn't shut tight. Breakfast wasn't great either.

Wonderful staff! I stay here every year in August and I can't say enough good things about this hotel. The staff goes out of their way to help you with anything you need and will make sure your stay is perfectly perfect! Hey girls! love my cleaning ladies! Right next to Bob Evans (yum) you can walk there, and next to a convenience store as well that you can walk to. With a nice pool and jacuzzi (and jacuzzi rooms) at your beckon call, you will thoroughly enjoy the LaQuinta in Tipp City, OH (plus it's right next to the expressway and they have $49 deals going on right now.
