Cleaning personnel would show up too early in the morning. We'd ask them to come back later, but when we'd come back in the evening, the room would never have been cleaned. Happened 3 of our 4 nights there. Breakfast was supposedly served till 11, but everything was gone by 9:30. It's while supplies last, and it's nothing to write home about when there is still food out. Commotion in the hallways from unruly guests, rickety elevator; it's not a place worthy of the room price they charge.

The staff was polite and helpful. The night manager Donna was very funny and provided awesome service. This was my families first stay in a baymont, overall the stay was decent, the only minor updates would probably be improved selection of eggs used for breakfast and possibly having a slightly less concentrated juice selection (orange and apple). The staff were accomodating when we needed a higher floor and needed additional towels.

Quiet location on edge of town. Walking distance to places to eat. Nice and clean. Polite staff.

It is an ok place. Our air conditioner didn't work very well, the rooms were very clean, the pool and hot tub was open till 10:00pm and a great bonus to the stay.

The bathroom tub wouldn't drain after a shower, the mattresses are lumpy and worn. It wasn't a good experience for the price paid. This location takes advantage of being close to Miami University. This location, Amanda manager, cancelled the reservation I made with Baymont corporate reservations 800 number and made me make the reservation with location directly resulting in a significant increase in the nightly cost.

Relatively quiet place. Starting to get dated in terms of the facility, but it is still good for the mid-range places available in Oxford.

Clean Front desk is great very helpful even tried to get us in to our room early.

Very clean, friendly, and an overall family atmoshere. Nice indoor pool & hot tub. Their prices are affordable all year round, but WOW! Mothers Day special was amazing.

Great customer service and great rooms. Also loved the breakfast.

I booked this room well enough in advance only to find out AFTER we checked in the hot tub and pool were down and had been since January1st. I called and complained to customer care and the hotel nothing was done. I will never stayed there again or even referr anyone to. There breakfast needs updated as well.

I don't even want to give this place one star. It was terrible… No pool. No hot tub. The staff mislead me when I made the reservation because apparently the pool has been down for several months. Staff was unhelpful when what seemed to be friends of the staff/staff was partying in the room next to me… kept us up all night. This place sucks never come here. Will never come here again and am waiting to talk to the gm. Your warned awful place.

Pool and hot tub were a main reason we chose this hotel only to find out both have not been usable since January. The pool did open the next day but it was cold. Still no hot tub.

Everybody was nice the room was also nice. The only down side was that the pool was broke down and mold on the jacuzzi cushion. We will be coming back. The staff was nice and took care of issues.

The overall experience was okay for this hotel. One of our rooms had the ceiling falling in and the rooms were minimally stocked with towels and didn't have any when we went down to get some. The paperwork in the room talking about the room itself was rough looking. The entire hotel needs redone. The beds were nice, but that was probably the only nice thing there. Oh yeah, the swimming pool and hot tub was also not working.

Hotel of choice each summer when relatives visit! We enjoy the indoor pool as well! Employees are very helpful and rooms are tidy.

Wi-Fi inside every room was a nice touch on a older motel. Really made it easy to stream videos and watch movies. Rest of motel is decent with nice staff.

The location was fine. Oxford isn't a big place, so everywhere of note was within a 5 to 10 minute drive. The room appeared clean upon arrival, but it smelled like someone had been using air freshener to cover up a deep smoke smell. The walk-in shower in the handicap accessible room had a curtain that was too short, so long showers would result in a half flooded bathroom. There weren't enough outlets, and the ones that the room had were in awkward locations. The TV didn't work the entire stay and the internet was out for most of it.

I had a very enjoyable stay here it was peaceful. The staff was very helpful.

Very nice place to be at one house keeper name rashel was very nice and and made my stay very comfortable will recommend everyone to stay there.

Front desk clerk was extremely helpful. I didn't catch her name though. Our room keys kept deactivating so I had to go to the front desk multiple times to get new ones. Seemed a bit pricey for an average hotel. Was being remodeled so it was a bit torn up.

I am not pleased to say the least with the Front Desk Manager or the General Manager. I called to let them know I was on my way there from Florida & it might be after midnight before I got there. Needless to say they were so ride to me, I just couldn't believe how extremally the rudest Managers I've ever had to deal with. They told me if I wasn't there by midnight that I would not have a room, Which was already paid for. Once I got there the person working the Front Desk was very helpful & explained things to me. I believe her name was Lisa. Once I got to my room it was clean, not to hot not to cold. I felt I could relax after the stress I went through trying to make sure I didn't lose my room. Like the 2 rudest Managers said I would. Other then Amanda & Desirae Morris I would have to say I had a pleasent stay & a nice warm breakfast. Just from Daytona Florida.

The staff was super nice and accommodating. Rooms were clean and comfortable.

The plus side: comfortable beds, convenient location. The minuses: paper-thin walls, not exactly spotless. Also (and this became highly relevant the first night I was there) no tornado shelter. About a dozen of us spent an awkward half hour crowded into the bathroom by the breakfast area while sirens wailed.

It is a good place to rest.

Rooms were nice, pool was great. The beds were very firm, but that's personal preference thing. Check in could have been better. We arrived early and couldn't check in until after 3pm. Then was told we couldn't pay cash for the room because they don't take cash… what?

Beautiful inn. Staff friendly and professional. Room was very clean. Loved continental breakfast.

I stayed here to visit my son at Miami. The whole place is very outdated, and the personnel is very unprofessional, especially the appearance of the front desk customer service representatives. After returning home I received a call from the head of housekeeping that I left my watch behind in the room. I appreciated her call and she told me the valuable watch would be locked up and to call when someone can make it over there to pick up. It took a month but I was sending someone over to pick it up. I thought it was safe, being told it was locked up with the manager. I called, the General Manager said there was no watch or any record of it being found. That the supervisor of HH has left. The general manager was snippy considering my watch was missing. I DO NOT recommend this place!

Kinda meh, the room smells a little… thank God for olfactory fatigue… and the Wi-Fi is kinda crap. But comfy clean beds and recently renovated.

Second time I have stayed and it was definitely better than the first time. Rooms have started to be updated, much cleaner, and breakfast was more complete.

Rooms were alright. It just seemed like no one was there. Also the breakfast was awful.

Service was wonderful. I had a nice Jacuzzi suite and for the low price the stay was amazing.

Warm and comfortable hotel. Friendly, helpful, accommodating staff. Furnishings showing their age. Bathrooms poorly appointed and designed.

Not the cleanest and nicest of all the places, but good for a one night stay.

I contacted the Baymont Inn and Suites in Oxford, OH on a Wendesday about booking rooms. I spoke with a gentleman who told me there were rooms available, but requested I e-mail to set up booking. Cut to 2 days later and I receive an e-mail (1st Response) from same gentleman that there are no rooms available. I'm confused, but he explains that "rooms book fast". Well, if you knew that then why did you wait two days to respond? Other hotels I called took all my information immediately. Seems unprofessional and I would not advise dealing with this place as it seems they're not too interested in helping with smaller bookings.
