We had a family emergency and drove all night from Arkansas. The hotel rep was very friendly and welcoming. Very clean rooms, comfortable beds, very friendly, helpful, kind staff. Our daughter moved to Warren and we plan to visit as much as possible, so we plan to stay here every time!

Love the New remodeled rooms.

Stayed at this hotel the past weekend for work.
Pulled my sheets back on my bed and seen this huge stain on my blanket. I informed the front desk and the only thing she said was I’ll tell housekeeping to make sure the change the sheets when they clean the rooms. I’m very disappointed that nothing else was done in this matter. Not what expected form a holiday inn.

This place was a hidden gem! We didn't have a reservation. I walked in and explained I needed a reasonably rated room as we were only staying 10 hours. I got a very reasonably priced, clean, quiet room. I told my spouse I felt like one of the commercials, and when I woke up I was ready to tackle the world. But not without enjoying a great breakfast!
The staff was efficient, courteous, and polite. Should I find myself in need of a place to stay again, I will be on the lookout.

We reserved a room here on our drive back from the east coast. The outside of the hotel is very nice and clean and right off the Ohio Turnpike. The inside of the hotel was also very nice. Our room was very clean and staff we're friendly and helpful. Breakfast was one if the best we have had at a hotel. If we are in the area again, and in need of overnight accommodations, we will definitely stay here.

Room was clean, well decorated and maintained and smelled pleasantly neutral. Wifi was good, and easy to get working. Bed was comfortable. Breakfast was the usual fair, but included warm mini cinnabon cinnamon rolls, which were nice. The hotel would benefit greatly if a restaurant or two was nearby, but there were a bunch about 2 miles away in the next town over, and the front desk said that some delivered to their location.

5 star for sure! I came in for my first Spartan challenge in Ohio from New York. From the beginning booking the hotel and asking questions about where this hotel was in distance from the event the customer service was exemplary. When I needed a second night, which I did not book until five days before the event the manager (I’m assuming yet maybe not) went out of her way to take my name and called me that she had found a room. The hotel was clean, bathroom sparkled, had a microwave, fridge, coffee maker even paper towels, and paper plates. The housekeeper did an amazing job as well. The two days we stayed we were greeted by staff at the front desk that just made my day especially after completing the challenge. They even gave us extra towels. I didn’t have an opportunity to use the pool or workout area, but I’m sure I would not have been disappointed. So, if you are ever in Ohio State Route 5 you must consider this hotel. Adam answered all of our questions while making a reservation, found our rewards account and called our room after check-in to make sure we were satisfied. He called local restaurants to find out when they were closing because we were staying during a holiday. We ordered from the restaurant he recommended and we enjoyed the food. Adam also delivered toiletries to our room that we'd forgotten. Great experience.

The location is between the on-ramp and the freeway but if you consider the rest of the surrounding area you want to be close to the highway. The mattresses were very old and the Linens also we're very old didn't feel very nice. We had four pillows on each queen bed so there were plenty of pillows. Breakfast was well-maintained, it was a standard Holiday Inn Express breakfast with omelets, cinnamon rolls, fresh fruits, hard boiled eggs, milk, chocolate milk, cranberry juice, orange juice, apple juice several kinds of toasted bagels/toast stuff, and a pancake machine. Pool was closed for repair. We were offered an upgraded room when I said my kid would be disappointed. I would rather swim in the pool than have a larger room that was just as mediocre as the standard room. Check-in was tediously long, but no longer than usual. We stated here because it was 10k IHG points per night. That's a good rate for this location.

Hot breakfast was limited. All meat was sausage flavored. Only hot food not sausage in nature was the eggs and oatmeal. No pancakes or waffles. Rooms comfortable and clean. You can hear the highway from the front rooms. Walls and floors not well insulated, so you hear your neighbors walking around at night and their 4am shower! Fridge and microwave in the room.

This is a wonderful hotel — outstanding staff, clean rooms, great continental breakfast and reasonable rates. I would definitely stay here again.

Adam could not have been more helpful and more welcoming. We had three rooms with all the kids and he went over and above with kindness.

We were pleasantly surprised at how nice this hotel is! We stayed there for a wedding and were leery about staying there, because it is right off the expressway and the price was so reasonable. It could not have been more perfect. The man at the desk went above and beyond to accommodate our family! The manager was also helpful. The rooms were clean and nice and even had a kuerig coffee pot in each one (that was nice! ). The breakfast bar had many choices and the staff working at the breakfast bar were so pleasant. Even when they were closing, they let my daughter get some food to take to the room to her sleeping daughter. I can’t say enough good things about our stay here. Kudos to this Holiday Inn and their staff!

Loved the in-room jacuzzi. Clean rooms, comfy king sized bed, good breakfast. A little expensive in my opinion for the size of the room. But nice staff and clean!

Rooms were very clean, beds were comfortable and they had an awesome breakfast. I've never been to a motel with such an array of breakfast foods, including hot foods.

Seems that this establishment honors no discounts AARP, NRA, or the like. AAA was mentioned but it was about three dollars less than the quoted price $94.00. Online price $84.00, which were told was an average price no for motel in the area. Once there the motel is very clean, welcoming and comfortable. Beds and pillows are great.

The staff was nice. The breakfast was good. Fresh pancakes. The pool was under maintenance. It was a good visit.

This is one of the nicest Holiday Inn express that I have ever seen. Everyone was extremely friendly. Immaculately cleaned. Great breakfast buffet. Don't miss this gem if you're looking for a wonderful hotel experience.

We stayed at this hotel for one night. We were there less than 12 hours, so didnt have a chance to use the pool or fitness center. The hotel was clean, and easy to access from the highway. There is an ice machine, pip machine, and snack machine on each floor, which came in handy. The breakfast had a nice variety of items; yogurt, hard boiled eggs, 3 cereals, oatmeal, granola toppings, pre-made omelettes, sausage, biscuits and gravy, pancakes, bread/toaster, cinnamon rolls, nilk, juice. Check — in was convenient and easy, staff was friendly. We were towing a trailer, and there was sufficient parking that made it easy for us to get in and out without removing trailer.

Rooms were clean. Beds not so comfortable. Bathroom smelled like mildew. Also unhappy with the way that a really (I mean SCREAMING) loud guest (my next door neighbor) was handled. At 3:30 in the morning I woke up to this guy punching walls, yelling and crying at the top of his lungs. Apparently he found out his girlfriend cheated on him. I called the front desk, they came up, brought him outside to calm him down, then let him back in. All is quiet for a bit and then he starts again. They say he was not drunk. If that was so, he should have been asked to leave. If not (and seriously he really sounded like he was drunk out of his mind) he should have been escorted out by the police. I would have just gotten up and left, but I was uncomfortable leaving my room. They DID take some off of my bill, but I was all in all disappointed.

Great place service was fantastic beds were perfect. Full breakfast was excellent! Would recommend it to anyone.

This place is just perfect! Spotless, comfy bed, beautifully done, cookie in the lobby, fridge, coffee maker, breakfast, OMG! I want to LIVE here! If you're ready to stop after a day of driving, this is THE place to rest your head. You'll thank me for the advice.

The rooms were fresh and clean it was amazing how soft the towels were very unusual many times for a hotel. Very courteous employees and staff and I would go back there because of that.

Service was great, breakfast was just a little better than continental. Rooms were very clean, bigger TV than most places.

The staff was friendly and the room was clean, if a bit stale for air when we got there. The pool is on the small side but kept slightly warm, so very nice after the long drive. However at about 11, some of the power went out, turning out most of the lights in the rooms and hallways! The a/c still worked though, thankfully, but when the lights came back it woke me. Back up and I could not get back to sleep, so that was somewhat distressing. Also need more power outlets or a USB plugin near the bed for charging phones.

The location was great. Our first room smelled of smoke. The second room smelled like breads sticks. Nice room but seemed older.

Stayed here for 2 nights over the weekend for a business trip. The stay was flawless and this newer Holiday Inn Express. Upon walking in the Grand feeling from the high ceilings was welcomed. The staff was friendly, the breakfast was large enough to satisfy, and the room was comfortable except for the desk chair. The padding on the chair was none existent and flat, frankly hurt the butt to sit on. Not an issue though as there was the other chair to sit in, just a mention. The only downside to this was that the walls are fairly thin, and from my location I could hear the elevator going up and down. But when nobody used the elevator, took a shower above or below, or closing doors in the hallway it was a quiet. That said, I would stay here again and it really is the BEST place to stay when at this location. I read mother review about the exercise room and have to agree that it is pretty week for those that work out. However, they did add a dumbbell set so it is improving. Also, the pool was not operating due to maintenance, an unfortunate timely event but one that can't be avoided. Highly recommend, video on the YouTube Channel. Nice hotel! Very nice staff plus a warm swimming pool. They have a treadmill, bike, and some weights. Good enough for a workout. Nice breakfast.

I only gave it 4 stars because the bathroom didn't have a ceiling fan, or at least one that worked. The room was clean, beds were comfortable and the breakfast choices were plentiful. Overall I give it a 4.5. I'd stay here again.
