For New Year’s Eve last year, we stayed at this hotel and had a pleasant experience, so we decided to book this same hotel for this New Year’s Eve. I booked the room through Priceline, because the Priceline quote was even cheaper than the “discounted” rate the hotel was offering me (Today I was informed that Hilton has a price match guarantee, but I did not know about it at that time). I was just contacted by Priceline and told that this hotel is cancelling my reservation (already paid in full) immediately due to “renovations. ” After speaking to an employee of the hotel, I was told that renovations of one of the floors of the hotel were happening ahead of schedule, and I was essentially kicked out of the room I had reserved, because I reserved it through Priceline instead of directly through the hotel. The hotel gave me nothing more than an “I’m sorry. ” I understand that I reserved through Priceline, but the HILTON GARDEN INN CINCINNATI NORTHEAST is responsible for canceling 40 rooms on NEW YEARS EVE, and doing NOTHING to accommodate all of the customers they inconvenienced. Hilton is passing off all responsibility to Priceline, which in my opinion, is unacceptable. This apathetic approach to customer service convinced me to leave this negative review and to not have any desire to ever book with Hilton again.

Outdated hotel, even smelled like old people. Not sure what the cost is per night since I used reward points for my overnight stay, but I feel like it is way higher than it should be. I mean I've been at nicer hotels in bigger cities for $150

Yeah it's a great place for a hotel it's the only one around someone was pretty smart to put that there my sister thought of it 40 years ago she always wanted a hotel when they were building 275 and 1969 and 1969

Our room was beautifully clean and comfortable. Nothing fancy in terms of decor, but everything was just right. Room service was tasty, as was breakfast in the restaurant. Staff was very friendly and accommodating. We'd be happy to stay here again.

Great service. The housekeepers were awesome! We (my mom and I) have a few issues on our end and they were so accommodating. Definitely going to be back.

Very nice and though close to interstate, rooms are very quiet. Very clean and the breakfast was delicious — make sure you get the eggs to order.

One of the best stay away from home that I've experienced. Every request was not only met but exceeded. The best customer service I've had at any hotel. Went above and beyond my expectations. Thank You for a great experience, the rugby team I brought along also had a great time in the pool area.

Very convenient location right off the interstate. However, located in a rather industrial area (directly in from of International Paper complex) with very few restaurant options at this exit. Subway and Shangai are across the road. As a Hilton Honors member using loyalty points and having stayed in many of their properties, this one was a bit disappointing. We were put in a room across from the ice machine and down from the pool and exercise room on the first floor. There was a soccer tournament going on over the weekend so the abundance of loud, talkative young girls with late curfews roamed the halls until well after midnight. This makes it difficult to get a restful night of sleep when there is just too much noise and disturbance. Can't recommend this property, unfortunately.

Overall a great stay. The decor in the rooms and halls is dated, although the main entrance is superb. Unfortunately not to many people can enjoy that as I'm not going to sit in the lobby. On a brighter note I had the best service from Holly, she took care of my room and went above and beyond for me. She adjusted my bed as I had mentioned it to her, without me having to ask her to, it was done and her friendly personality and kindness was well worth the stay and we will be back again. Hopefully she will be there, an maybe I could request for her to take care of my room again because it was the cleanest I've seen in A LONG TIME. So thank you Holly for doing all you did and making our stay a great one!

My grandma stays here when she comes to town to visit, and she always has nothing but great things to say about this location. Every time I’ve called the staff has been very polite, and they are all incredibly good natured when dealing with my (eccentric and oftentimes difficult) grandmother. Would recommend this location to anyone!

I live around 5 miles away from here. I live in a very small house and whenever my parents come to visit, this is where I have them stay. The staff, the rooms, and everything are first class all the way! I like the idea of having to enter through a main entrance too. It just seems safer and more secure. I would highly recommend staying here. The price is very fair also.

Totally adequate. Layout is very similar to other HGI properties. Service was very nice on check in. I like that they give you some water bottles at check-in if you are a loyalty member. The rooms are fairly small and the decorations feel quite dated, but the bed was comfortable enough. My only other issue was noise. It's a small hotel, and a group of folks talking on the patio out front can be heard very clearly from a room on the second floor.

Experience was okay, room was clean and the staff was friendly. Unfortunately the cleaning maids thought that I checked out a day early because I don't leave my luggage in my room when I leave for the day. So, my beers were taken out of my refrigerator. Was only 3 beers so I wasn't too upset. The thing that bothered me the most was at check in, I was booked for 2 nights at $89 per night and I was charged $220 total which felt was deceiving. Paying $220 is well worth it for the experience I had at the hotel but when im told $178 and my card was ran for $220 I felt like I was lied to.

Very nice hotel with friendly staff. Especially the 3rd shift worker Colette, she was so super helpful and so cheerful. Very delicious breakfast spread, and you can order eggs any way you'd like.

I've stayed at a number of these and this one has definitely been at the top of the list. Super friendly staff, great amenities, fantastic location, highly recommended. Great for families and kids as well as business travelers.

Getting to the hotel was easy enough and for the most part the service was okay. They ran out of towels in the pool both days I was in there and I never saw anyone come into the pool room to check unless they were called by a guest to bring more. The breakfast was not very good either. The beds were very uncomfortable. All in all it was average at best.

Nice but needs updating of rooms. Rooms look tired and bed mattresses are much too hard. Front and check in area is very nice and inviting, unfortunately, people spend most time in their rooms not in sitting area at check in counter.

Nice. But they are in need of new mattresses bad. Feels like sleeping on a deflating mattress which you kills your back. And this is the second time I've stayed here.

Just married! Very nice and comfortable room. Everyone was very friendly and quick to help with anything we asked for. Thinking about coming back on our anniversaries.

Great place to stay. Good employees great manager. Was able to have a nice chat with him at the bar. I would definitely stay there again.

Loved the pool and spa. House keeping did subpar. Didn't replace washcloths and hand towels. Also had to bus my own table for breakfast.

Great place with friendly service. Clean and affordable. Although they charge $10 for breakfast you get a great buffet, eggs, everything on the homemade omelet, fresh fruit, juices, waffles, coffee — all better then the free continental breakfast you see at other hotels.

A very nice garden hotel rooms are spacious and breakfast area is well setup and inviting. Hotel has nice small indoor pool and hot tub area as well as a well equipped work out room.

Kind of dated interior but the bed was comfortable. Rooms were quiet and staff was pleasant.

I am only giving this 5 star review because of the manager named Glen. He help me with a crazy Expedia reservation mix up. He was so helpful and turned my horrible experience into a good experience.

I've been here twice in the last 6 months and I thought the day and night staff were amazing, they were both helpful and courteous. The night bartender was also very good at making drinks and was very prompt on checking on the people at the bar. As long as I have job training in the area I plan on staying at this hotel.

Would NOT recommend this hotel. My room smelled very badly and when I was switched to another room the same smell was there. Best way to describe is an old smelly shoe. I'm usually very happy with Hilton hotels this was a huge disappointment.

I tried to book a room for a wedding in Loveland, and online it would only let me book for two nights, not the one I needed. So I slept on a cot in my friend's room, which was fine. The staff was very kind, everything was clean, and the cot was… I mean, it was a cot.

The beds where to small, the breakfast cost $10 extra and the front door wasn't working. Nice lobby and Pool tho and patio.

It was pretty good. The shower did not drain well, and the breakfast cost $10. Other than the beds we're comfy and I was very tired so it was nice.

Overall it was a typical hotel experience, average amenities and pretty good staff. Breakfast for $9.99 is not worth it and the bar really isn't a bar more like a corner counter with some drinks. But it's quiet and modern and close access to freeway.

The service was exceptional! Everyone was so nice and professional. The hotel offered a shuttle from the reception back to the hotel which was great. The rooms were very clean as well.

Non-smoking hotel but my room smelled of cigarettes. The lobby had a strange odor also. The staff was extremely friendly and the location was convenient. Would consider staying here again.

I was at Hilton this past weekend and had a very pleasant experience. I'm from out of town, and was unsure which Hilton was going to be the most convenient. Well, I made reservations at Loveland when I needed to be in Mason. Thank goodness Sallie Baker was there to help me. Thanks to her quick reaction, may plans were corrected, and I was back on the right track. And there was no costs to me. When I travel I have enough to worry about, I'm greatful for have folks like Sallie Baker to help me on my way. Hilton garden inn is lucky to have her. Thank you Sallie.

The day time staff is incredibly pretentious, but the night time staff are amazingly helpful and courteous. The appearance of the room I honestly expected more. There are paint splotches that make it look dingy and dirty on the walls in the bathroom the vanity is cracked and appears to be falling off the wall, the adjustable bed does not work and when asked for "help" all the staff did was try to "explain" with no bother for any further help once I mentioned it again. For a hotel to charge that much money for things the way they were you would expect a little bit more. The cleaning people are very loud in the morning even with earplugs in I could still hear them out in the hallway having a little get-together and two days in a row woke me up. I would assume a person would be more understanding out in the hallway especially staff if there was a do not disturb sign on the door! Which is very upsetting because it is none of my business where they're going to be flying to on vacation. Some people work at night and have to sleep during the day. Naturally when I complained nothing was done because it happened for the second day. We pay extra money to go to a place like this to have good courteous service, helpful staff, and to have better quality of rooms otherwise we can go down the street for a lot less money and get the same type of atmosphere and treatment. It truly is a shame due to the fact that my husband travels for work and we generally stay at a Hilton hotel.

The lobby and facilities of the hotel of the hotel were excellent, and our room was quite comfortable. My only complaint is that the AC unit was insanely loud.

The lobby and reception area was clean, pleasant, and inviting. The staff was friendly and helpful. They answered my questions and provided me the information I was after for future reference.

My stay at the Hilton Garden Inn was about what I expected: nothing spectacular, but no issues at all. It was pretty good overall, no complaints.

This Hilton Garden Inn delivered with value and service and is on par with other similar Hilton Garden Inn properties. Clean, we'll maintained room and a friendly staff that is perfect for business travelers.

Stayed 1 evening after I was a groomsman in a wedding. Arrived to the room after midnight and crashed immediately. I remember the bed being acceptable but nothing stellar. The next morning I showered and had breakfast prepared by the hotel. Both again were acceptable but not special. My wife paid for the room so I cannot speak about value.

It was nice. Pool was wonderful for our stay. Cool but nice for next to a hot tub and workout room. Staff was pleasant, good location. The only thing I could think is a bench outside would be nice to sit on. Thank you for a nice sray.

They have bed bugs so do not stay here I am a ex employee and use to clean these rooms they dont care about there guests at all all they care about is money all some of the employees talk bad about the guests and and pam the person who runs this place I have heard about other guests complain about bed bugs and she didnt do anything about it.

Very nice place. Indoor pool was COLD but useable. Room was placed at first floor intersection so a lot of noise. Avoid room 120, Otherwise staff very helpful and pleasant. Would stay again, just not on first floor.

I think Patty must have been talking about a different location. I spent 5-1/2 months in this hotel for work. Everyday I felt as though I was at home. Jake at the front was always very responsive and made me feel like a priority. Vonn the cook always made my breakfast the way I wanted and most of the time had it ready for me before I came down in the morning. Holly the waitress was very friendly and worked hard to make me feel taken care of. Glenn behind the bar was always easy to talk to and poured a strong drink. He even picked my wife and I up at the stroke of midnight New Years eve so we didn't have to wait around for a cab. The hotel is quiet and clean. Wouldn't think of staying anywhere else when in the area. Thanks.

Our stay at this hotel was without sleep, which is the reason we stopped. Imagine that! The walls at this hotel could not be thinner. It is WAY OVER PRICED! We did not arrive until almost 11 pm and only needed a quiet pleast to rest. We were charged full price for a dirty room. The shower was VERY dirty. If the bathroom is not clean, I do not consider the room to be clean. The room itself was not so impressive and the curtains on the window would not completely close. However, the bed was comfortable. There was some kind of activity or party going on at this hotel and people were in the halls being loud all night long. It was horrible and made things very difficult for us the next day. For $170, I at least expect it to be quiet. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone.
