Review of Motel 6-Lima, OH 2*

$46 a night. Don't be fooled, they charged us $90 and said they only had the handicapped room available. It was late and we had been driving all day and were tired so took the room. We had made several stops from Dayton to Lima looking for a room but nothing descent available. Our room was to have been smoke free, even had sticker on the door however the stench of smoke was vile the moment we stepped into the room. No fridge, no microwave, no coffee maker, no toiletries, no clock, no breakfast. The guy at the front desk said there would be coffee in the front office in the morning. Yup, there was, one pot for all 100+ guests. The room consisted of two beds, two old kitchen type chairs an a TV that was set behind a frame so the sensor for the remote was blocked. The large handicap bathroom was an accident waiting to happen. The toilet was too close to the floor (should have been the higher one for those in wheelchairs or using walkers or a cane) and wasn't completely bolted to the floor. The seat in the walk in shower was only bolted to the wall on one side, the other bracket was missing all the screws. Can't say anything nice about this motel. Won't be staying at any Motel 6 ever again. On the brighter side, and nothing to do with the motel, was all the awesome monster trucks in the parking lot, what a site it was to see them all. Oh and considering the motel was fully booked, these monster truck owners were relatively quiet. Thanks guys! In closing, this place is a dump, if you're desperate and it's your last resort, sleep in your vehicle!
