The location was fairly close to downtown but it was obvious from the start that this was an older hotel. The rooms were clean but were subpar. There was no garbage can in any of the rooms and the TV reception was snowy. Overall, this was a fine place to sleep but that's it.

My daughter and I went to spend the night after a concert and ended up driving home. We couldn't stay the entire night and feel comfortable. Walls cracked, paint not the same color, furniture mis-matched, paint on table worn off, baseboards dirty, carpet look like it hadn't been cleaned, headboard broke, and we counted at least 6 cigarette burn holes in the comfortable! Not to mention the room smelled of stale cigarettes. It was an overall horrible 1 1/2 hrs we spent in the room. The lady that checked us in was nice but I can't believe this place can still run! I don't even want to give it 1 star!

I wish I could give this a zero star! I Wouldn’t recommend this hotel! The price was lower than surrounding hotels, but it wasn’t worth it. It was awful! I don’t have anything positive to say about it! The bed was bowed/sloped, not comfortable at all! The sheets and blankets were disgusting, hair and stains on them, Had to ask for replacements! The couch was bowed and nasty too. The desk chair was broken! The curtains didn’t work right and they weren’t even mounted to the wall, they were falling off. There was a small fridge and coffee pot, don’t know if the coffee pot worked. Didn’t try it. Fridge worked but the shelves weren’t in it right. Sound traveled loudly throughout the halls, barely any sound barriers. If you can afford better, please do it and don’t give them any money! The parking lot was small and crowded and there’s a huge hole in the middle of it. This was the worst hotel I’ve ever stayed at, enough said!

All the previous reviews are pretty spot on. The rooms are pretty run down, the walls are thin and you can hear all the conversations around you. The upstairs rooms are just as loud. The hallway is made of old tile and you can hear every step, plus the hallway echoes. If you're close to the lobby be prepared to hear the TV all night. The bed was comfortable and we didnt use the Wi-Fi. You get what you pay for I guess.

Nice staff. Dirty rooms. Old towel left in room. Light bulbs out. Thin sheet and blanket. Stains on blanket, floor, walls, ceiling. Ketchup spill left on desk and lamp. I suspect this wouldn’t meet days inn standards.

This place was dirty. I put our towels on the sofa to sit down. So gross. I asked for 2 more towels and was told I needed to turn in the others before I could get more. Free breakfast was choice of 2 cold cereals, 3 kinds of bread for toast and yogurt. We were past disappointed. Would not recommend at all. Not worth the money.

Housekeeper* — I was told comforters/blankets don't get changed. Coffee pots don't get cleaned because no one uses them. Try to only put sheets with holes in them in the smoking rooms. I was appalled after a day of working there. They ran out of cleaning solution and didn't have any for days. Watered down spray? Disgusting! Tubs had water underneath them just sitting. Dirty needles with empty drug bags in the ac/heater and behind stands. A lot of windows with no screens. People standing on trash cans climbing in the 2nd floor windows. Some windows lock so please check. Guest missing $700 out of the room cause door didn't work properly. If you like a room cleaned with water, pee/blood stained mattresses, slamming doors all day and night as the smell of drugs loom the hallways while other guests are screaming or fighting and you can't avoid it because the walls are so old and thin then this is the place for you. Very gross! (next time your there just go down in the laundry room basement and have a look)

Kind of sketchy, not the cleanest. But a decent place for the price just outside of downtown Cleveland. A short uber away from all the attractions of the city.

Worst hotel Iv ever visited. The service was non existent. The rooms are filthy and old. This hotel shouldbe shut down asap.

The room was clean but loud. Location was fine. For the price of the room it was very good.

Location is great. Daily living needs are nearby. There is no fridge in the room though. Room could use a bit of an update to it, and better pest control as I found ants in my bathroom.

Its lucky to get one star… there are so many things wrong with this place… I will never come back. Stained comforters, dirty sink in the bathroom, no in room fridge, crappy Wi-Fi. Not very happy at this point.

Bed bugs in rm 231 then refused a refund and moved to rm 132 where the tub would not drain the TV didnt work and hair dryer broken. Worst hotel experience and manager had no concern as to contact me about my complaint. Do not recommend to anyone!

Over priced low quality dirty as all knows what smelled like weed. I have stayed at better hotels in worse cities this place is a joke.

The parking lot was a mess. To cheap to plow or salt. You have to hold the doorknob up so the key will work, bathroom not clean, when you walk in there are NO light switches anywhere close.

Front desk girl was really nice! Convenient to downtown, but would recommend other hotels over this one. Room was dated and dirty. Walls were thin, could hear both of my neighbors. Holes in the bedding. Smelled of smoke, although I had a non smoking room. Curtians were ripped.

Easy to find. Parking lot could have been plowed/salted more. Bed was fine. Suitable for an overnight stay.

In town for a Browns game. Hotel was very convenient to everything we wanted to do and see! However I woke up sick my first morning; not a very comfortable sick bed.

Pretty okay sleep, but the alcohol helped with that. About what you'd expect from a 2.5 star hotel. No bugs, though reviews there have mentioned otherwise.

The Days Inn I have stayed at in the past was very nice and well kept. This place was and is a flea bag motel. They do not clean the rooms. It is dirty and do not change the sheets after the last person. The first room they showed me had someone's hair on the sheets. The second room they put me in had hair and crumbs on the sheet. The toilet had the paper around it like they cleaned it but this was not the case. The third was a little cleaner but the tub and shower in all the rooms were disgusting. The last one they put me in the tub filled up while I showered which, yes, is gross. When walking up or down the hall where the rooms were the smell of marijuana was so strong you could catch a contact buzz. All night long the people who stayed there played their music loud and had drunken arguments in the hallway. I don't see how Days Inn corporate allow them to stay open with the filth in all the rooms. The only way to clean this Days Inn is to tear it down and build another one in its place. So please my good clean people DO NOT STAY THERE. Do not call and reserve a room. Please go somewhere else.

Key cards didn’t work several times, hotel room was dirty and stinky. Staff came several hours before check out time pounding on the door saying we had to leave. Refuse to give us a refund for the time they didn’t want to scare. When I try to talk to the staff Elizabeth White was unhelpful and told me this was a family owned company and they would not fire her and they can do whatever they want. When I asked Elizabeth why they came to the room pounding on the door she said they have to. They’re required to kick you out before it’s time to go, even though you paid to be there.

Well, how do I say this tactfully… This place is a dump, but it is a conveniently located dump. If all you're looking for is a no frills no-tell motel, then this is the spot for you. Better can easily be had by consulting the website William Shatner shills for, and probably for less $.

Located in a good neighborhood. Old building, but a decent hotel for the price. Friendly staff.

I always return to days inn Lakewood because of the front desk ladies and I would like to single out Elizabeth as super helpful im wheelchair bound and. She goes the extra mile to be helpful she is the main reason I will always return to days inn Lakewood.

NEVER SLEPT HERE! After 3 different rooms we had to leave! First room was filthy, bugs everywhere mold all around the windows and the window was broken, second room reeked of cigarettes and had burn holes all over BOTH beds and the third room had God knows what all over the sheets, hair all over the floor and bed and the remote was at the foot of the bed under the blankets! The whole place was shady, and we were traveling to Cleveland Clinic with a sick child to receive a second opinion! This place needs to be shut down and the rude Manager finally called and said you were here for an hour! There was nothing wrong! We did say check your cameras you will see it was under 30 minutes! We have filed a complaint with corporate and sent our photos to them, I will also be contacting the department of health as this place is definitely in violation! We had to drive into Cleveland after our already long drive there and pay for another hotel! Not money that is easy to spend when you have a very ill child! If anyone has similar pics or information regarding this hotel I encourage you to contact corporate or myself! I am sure that if there is enough information from several others this place can be shut down!

Older hotel, small rooms. One room has a roller for the office chair on the desk instead of in the chair, could have caused an accident. The other room has a lamp without a switch to turn it on and off, or had been broken off. Otherwise, very convenient location, friendly staff.

Laminate flooring in the hallways makes the sound carry. Every door closing sounds like a fire cracker. All talking in the hallway can be heard clearly… and who wants that at 2 in the morning? Otherwise, the room is decent. They're tired, but efficient and everything works as it should. Although I will complete my stay here (not checking out early), I will not stay here again, nor will I recommend this to others.

I don't know what I'm more repulsed by, the wads of long dark hair (I'm blonde and know damn well it isn't mine) scattered across the bathroom floor, the cobwebs dangling from the ceiling, the dead bugs covering the a. C. /heating unit. This establishment is a sorry excuse for a "hotel". I knew the rates were gonna be higher than usual due to it being last minute and it being a holiday weekend, but $200 for one night at one of the most run down, disgusting places I've ever been is absolutely ridiculous. I'm appalled. We were informed upon arriving that our television would not work, and I said that would be fine since we wouldn't be present in the room for a lot of the night, however we were not informed that all but one of our lights would work and that the room was most certainly not cleaned up to regulated standards. The carpet feels horrible and I wouldn't dare step onto it with my bare feet. The bathtub is yellowed and grimy. I don't even want to sleep here, I'm so grossed out in every possible aspect. Not to mention the terrible customer service we received at the front desk initially from two women who had no idea what they were doing. The older woman was yelling at the younger woman, who was clearly new, and the younger woman was uninformed on how to even tell us how to get to our room. After we returned from our night out, the older gentleman who was working the desk was even worse to speak with. I wouldn't recommend this place to anybody.

Great location and price to stay the weekend in Cleveland. Easy and cheap to get a taxi/uber into the city to watch the game and enjoy drinks. Pros: Very clean Fridge and microwave in room. Free parking Cons: Very noisy hallway, you can hear people walking and doors closing all night, They weren't being very loud but the noise travels down the whole hallway. It kept waking me up all night No where to sit outside and enjoy the sun Fine for a one night but couldn't stay here longer, no sleep.

One star doesn't even make justice. Checked in tonight with my kids and husband hoping to get a good night sleep after the game at Cleveland. Got here later at night an unfortunately didn't get my room with two full beds. The guy at the front said that we should talk to the manager in the morning to fix this issue. Once we open the room it was disgusting. The cigarette smell was so strong and gross. I cannot believe how can they did that to us! first of all didn't give us our room that we reserved and second it was smelling disgusting! I had kids for God's sakes! It was precisely specified in our reservation! This is truly the worst experience ever on a hotel! Will never book anything else at this nasty place! It was really expensive and the quality I should say was offensive! This definitely has to be notify to the corporate and the best business bureau! I'm not interested in staying here one more night as we book. Worst experience ever!

Good location. Old buiding and old rooms & furniture. Clean rooms and bathrooms. Comfortable bed. Noisy, had to ask the manager to tell the guy next roomm to put down his TV volume in order to be able to sleep. Good parking and excelent nearby fast buy shops. Next to bus stop and close to main avenues and freeways in greater Cleveland. A complain: lousy breakfast and breakfast room.

Bed bugs! They overcharged me and blamed the computers. They wouldn't let me switch rooms after they insisted that I had bed bugs in my room. I stayed there for over 3 months, and I wasn't getting any maid service for the final month and a half. One of the maids borrowed twenty dollars from me and didn't pay it back. This place is too ghetto for Lakewood. I have given them two stars because at least they have good cable and they'll give you an ashtray.

In the first floor rooms, you can hear the front desk telephone ring-every time. You can hear the front desk conversations and the lobby tv. All the room's doors slam, the floors cracks and sqeeks in the halls and in the rooms above you. You could hear your neighbor's voices clearly even at their normal tone. The towel rack was falling out of the wall. The lobby floor is 'upgraded' for photos and advertising, the rest of the halls are shabby linoleum. The popcorn walls are painted with messy edges and missing paint. They clean with a PineSol smelling product so the smell can be a bit much. It was horrible. You should NOT go their if you need to "sleep". It should be condemned. We checked in at 11 pm and left by 1:00 am to go somewhere else. I could see if it were $40 or $60 a night but $100?

Never stayed there I just deliver pizza there all the time pretty pleasant staff easy access good place overall also they have smoking rooms.

I felt very uncomfortable in this room. The room was setup in a strange way so that the TV was at the entrance and I couldn't properly open the door without hitting the bed. I could hear the people in the rooms around me more clearly than I would prefer.

Great location for me. Right off the bus line. Decent area. Rooms are horrible but for such a cheap hotel can't complain. Bed was broken. Like sunken in. Bathroom door locked us in for a few minutes. Service was nice. Very personable. They take cash.

Decent I guess, its like an old school I believe. The halls echo like a lot and the room seemed kinda small and cramped, especially the bathroom. The security door is a little much but it is Cleveland after all. They have some construction going on right now but its not too bad. I will say that our room was pretty loud and smelly and had a couple friends visit but no one seemed to mind so that was sweet.
