This place is great. I walked in and new I made the right choice. It’s very stylish and clean. They offered free cookies at night, I mean, cmon! The room was well designed. The breakfast was great too. Plenty of food options to choose from, and they had chocolate milk. Unheard of! Pick this hotel in the beautiful country side!

Absolutely the best hotel we have stayed in for the price. Beautiful and contemporary — — really DOES look like the photos. Our room was clean and spacious with great amenities. Felt like home with board games in the lobby on our floor, cookies in the afternoon, friendly and helpful workers, and a fantastic breakfast. Next time I will take marshmallows to toast on the lovely patio firepit! Will definitely visit again when we have the chance!

Stayed here for one night with my wife and we really enjoyed the stay. We had a king size standard room and it was very clean and nice. The entire hotel has a very modern look. The lobby is very nice and clean. The room had a mini fridge, microwave, and sink. The bathroom was large. There was no tub only a shower. I was impressed with everything from this hotel. The one thing we really liked was the gas fire pits they had outside on the patio by the pool. You can sit outside and enjoy the weather. Definetly recommend this hotel if you plan to spend a night in amish country.

Very nice modern hotel with wonderful staff. Great breakfast. My only complaints would be the softness of the water and the mattress seems to sink toward the middle. The water makes it so my skin doesn't feel clean after a shower. Would definitely stay here again.

Very nice rooms. Super modern look and feel. Only issue we had was that there was only a stand up shower no bath tub in the room were had and we had a multiple day stay and a 1 year old with us. So giving her a shower was difficult. But I missed that when I booked my room so there may be a room with a bath.

Loved this hotel! Has very nice rooms with a Juliet balcony. Clean rooms and wonderful staff. Indoor pool/hot tub are great for relaxing. Outdoor patio off the pool area is lovely. Didn't use the gym however it did look like it has everything you would need. Buffet style breakfast was delicious and had everything you could want. One of the nicer hotels I've stayed in.

This hotel is great. It has a modern atmosphere and is spotlessly clean. The lobby is beautiful yet inviting. We arrived on a Sunday afternoon, and were surprised with a complimentary yummy salad bar supper in the very nice dining area. The next morning treated us to a complete breakfast. I especially enjoyed the steel cut oatmeal!. The pool was a delight for the grandkids. The room was lovely, the bathroom with a gorgeous walk-in shower.

New, extremely clean and modern lodging at a reasonable price for what you get. Great breakfast included in your room rate. Nice pool and exercising facilities! I would definitely go back!

Nice hotel. Modern take in an area that typically is not. Staff seemed nice. Unfortunately, the guests above us had a few children they thought they would leave unattended for the evening. Well, not the best experience from there. A playground for children this place is not. I made the staff aware of the problem and it was addressed with the other guest. However, not much changed thru the night. If I stay again it would only happen if I had a room on the top floor. I know the staff cannot account for everything but planning room placement of guest may help others in the future.

This is a very nice hotel. It was interesting that it was so modern, yet exists within a "little house on the prairie" sort of area, in Amish country. The place seems very clean and we slept well. The coffee and tea offerings are nice and the shower is large. Overall, it is probably a 4.5… Thank you and Jesus bless you!

Very nice comfortable room, friendly helpful staff, great free breakfast, and clean nice rec facilities. We actually stayed an extra night because we enjoyed the place. The only problem with the stay (and this really has nothing to do with the hotel) but we ordered a pizza from the establishment listed on the phone and it arrived 1.5 hours later cold and soggy so you might want to look at other options.

Minimalist room with all the comforts. Very clean and quiet. The staff was very pleasant and accommodating. Breakfast had eggs, bacon, potatoes, biscuits and gravy, omelette station, waffle station, and the rest of the usual suspects.

This is not my first visit at this hotel, and I can honestly say I love my experience everytime. The staff is polite and helpful, it's location is fantastic to reach local attractions, and the place has plenty to offer. From a pool, hot tub and gym to awesome modern rooms. The only complaint I may have is some of the furniture. Both in the rooms and 2nd floor, look wise they fit in with the athletics or the he hotel, but they are not comfortable. Luckily there are other options. Outside of that I loved it, specially the breakfast buffet.

This is a modern hotel in Amish country. Everything is very nice, pleasant staff and a great breakfast. A pool, workout room, indoor and outdoor lounges available to everyone as well. Great views too!

Stayed in a premium suite that had a livibg area, half fridge and micro and a bedroom with 2 queen beds. Clean and comfy. Needed more sitting options and a nightstand by the bed. Beautiful hotel and rooms. Shower tiles need deep cleaned. We will definitely stay again.

We love this hotel. It's the second time we've stayed here and the staff are always so friendly. The rooms are very clean and we love the modern decor and big shower that's all tile. The complimentary breakfast is above average compared to other places. We highly recommend this hotel and we will always stay here anytime we visit Sugarcreek.

The only complaint I have is that our rooms were not ready by three o clock like we were told and were not in fact ready until after 5. This was a slight inconvenience, however the rest of the stay was wonderful. A beautiful hotel with great accommodations and delicious breakfast.

Great breakfast! The hot tub pool area was nice! They have the best hotel cinnamon rolls ever! I would suggest that anyone coming to Amish Country needs to look at staying at this hotel! We will be back!

Rooms are spacious, comfortable, and elegant. The bed fits my tastes for a firmer mattress as well. Service is exceptional and the breakfast spread beats any of the big chains I've stayed at like Best Western or La Quinta; it was the first time I've seen an omelet station and it turned out fantastic. The area is peaceful and scenic with plenty of nice Amish shops to browse. I'd definitely stay here again!

The hotel is beautiful with spacious rooms. The pool and outdoor patio area are very nice. This is the best complimentary breakfast I have ever had at a hotel. For the price you pay to stay here, this hotel is an absolute steal. Thank you Wallhouse!

Really Nice place. Not your normal Hotel. Everything in room is Top Quality. The walk in shower is a bonus. Workers are really nice and helpful. Great Place.

We are staying in a "basic" room for $149… We have stayed in quite a few different hotels and we've done basic, club levels and suites… I could not believe how amazing the basic room here was in comparison to other places we have stayed! I had to check with the front desk to make sure they gave us the right room. Balcony, very nice fold down bed along with our king, kitchen island and sink, microwave & fridge, wonderful walk in stone shower and definitely do the breakfast! Amazing omlet station, not options and cold, and every beverage you could ask for with a breakfast. We will definitely be returning… it's only &189 for the upgraded room so we will probably have to check that out next time!

Would highly recommend this hotel… Excellent customer service! We had went for the board walk, (busy time of year. ). We had taken our car out and when we came back they made sure we had a place to park right up front! Very clean! Will definitely tell my friends and family about this hotel!

Ultra modern decor and amenities. Beds are very comfortable and the fire pits out back at night are a great touch. Nothing else quite this nice in Amish country.

The hotel is amazing. The staff is super friendly, my sister forgot her hair gel and when she went to see if the gift shop had any the manager went out and bought some for her. I will be recommending this hotel. It is also very nice and clean! Will definitely be coming back!

We had an amazing stay! The staff was very professional and friendly, eagerly answering any questions about the area and making great recommendations for places to eat. The hotel itself was surprisingly nice and very well kept. The rooms were very modern with black leather and chrome that did feel a bit out of place in Amish country but were still very conformable. The hotel has two fire pits (that weren't lit due to our stay being in December), a pool and hot tub, and I believe I heard mention of a fitness room but I never saw it (wasn't looking for it). Lastly the breakfast, one of the most impressive hotel breakfasts I've ever seen. If you're staying here then you should plan to eat in the hotel, the meal is included in the price and it'd be a shame to pass up.

The breakfast is amazing! Bacon, eggs, biscuits and gravy, fruit, cereal, cinnimon rolls and so much more! The staff is amazing. The Front Desk treats you like family and provides you with anything you need! It was amazing! Even the housekeepers and breakfast ladies were super sweet. The rooms are really nice with a walk-in shower, an amazing mattress, coffee maker with starbucks coffee (LOVE), microwave, mini fridge, kitchenette area, and so much more. All with great views! The pool is very clean and the patio with the fireplaces was a fun place to hang out at! The fitness room helped me whip back into shape after the Amish Country food in the area:). Lets just say I enjoyed every part of my stay!

The most friendly accommodating staff I've ever had the pleasure of knowing. We had a small problem with our room upon arrival and we were upgraded to a beautiful suite at no extra charge. The manager was so pleasant and went out of his way to make sure we were completely satisfied Every time we passed any hotel staff they smiled, spoke and wanted to know if there was anything they could help us with. The continental breakfast was exceptional We have stayed at other places while visiting Holmes County but we have now found the perfect place to stay. Rooms were spotlessly clean.

Amazing Hotel. Staff was beyond friendly which was so awesome. Room was fresh and clean and big! We loved having the kitchen area to sit and relax. View from our room was beautiful. The breakfast spread each morning was splendid and kept us full well past lunch time! We look forward to visiting the area again soon, and will definitely be staying at the Wallhouse again!

Four of us shared a 2 gueen suite on 8/5/15. The Wallhouse is amazing, beautifully decorated with a simple but classy style. The beds were extremely comfortable, plush robes provided for relaxing. The bathroom was huge and had a walk in shower. There was also a kitchenette. Don't pass this one up. We paid 208.00 for the night. Fantastic.

The Wallhouse Hotel is an excellent place to stay. You can enjoy all of the comforts of home while touring the Amish shops, farms and lifestyle. The hotel is new, with all the modern conveniences of any quality establishment. The breakfast is exceptional and has every item you would expect for a morning meal. Make sure you ask for the view facing the Amish farms, it is beautiful.

I have stayed at the Wallhouse on two occations, and I have overly enjoyed my stay both times. The hotel is extremely clean with new contemporary decor. It also has a beautiful view of the countryside out of the back windows. The room has a great kitchenette in it with a large peninsula bar overhang that acts as a desk, and I definitely prefer this to a standalone desk. The beds are very comfortable with a large sofa at the foot of the bed that makes it easy to go through email and watch TV at the same time if one prefers. The hotel staff, including Jeff, Kristie and Logan, that I had spoken with several times to find good places to eat and enjoy were wonderful. I can't recall the other names, but everyone was happy and caring. I happened to meet the hotel manager Leon Troyer who was also very helpful and enjoyable to converse with about the surrounding areas attractions. I will definitely be back. Outstanding, great motel. I have traveled for 30 years and stayed at many motels. This motel is one of the best motels I have stayed in as the staff made me feel welcome like family. When I return again for work this is where I will stay.

My wife and I live near Amish Country and visit the area quite often. At times, we'll spend the night, to get that extra early start, and usually stay at a Bed and Breakfast. We choose the Wallhouse Hotel this time because of what we saw on it's web site. Boy! It was a lot more than what you see on the site! The staff went out of its way to make sure we were happy and had everything we needed. The hotel reminded us of a hotel in downtown Los Angeles! Ultra Modern, Chic, very very Cosmopolitan! The room was all that one could want! The view on the south side was spectacular! Sitting on the patio in the evening listening to the crickets and clippity-clop of the horses hooves on the pavement was fabulous! We told anyone that would listen to us about the Wallhouse! The breakfast buffet is as good as you can get anywhere! We'll be back.

The staff at The Wallhouse Hotel was excellent. At the time of our visit my husband was using crutches and everyone was very accommodating for his needs. The room was beautiful, clean, and quiet. The bed was comfortable with plenty of pillows. I don't remember getting a better nights sleep in a hotel. We particularly enjoy relaxing on the patio with fire pits in the evening. The only problem I encountered was the Wireless Internet in the room going in and out but it worked perfect in the lobby. We will definitely stay at The Wallhouse on our next visit to Amish Country.

We just returned from another great trip to Holmes County to visit Amish Country. We stayed in two new places this visit, to see if we like them. One was the Wallhouse in Walnut Creek. This hotel is extremely nice and very modern decor. It was very clean and crisp. We did have an issue with the sink in our room which was scale build up and this was fixed promptly, another bigger issue was the breakfast. We went down to eat breakfast to find no food, all the containers were empty except a couple of biscuits, coffee, dry cereal and juice. I told the front desk and we waited 25 minutes for food to come out, the eggs looked like real eggs but were watery, the home fries were hard (not done), gravy was still not filled and dry looking, bacon never came out, cinnamon rolls were still frozen inside, milk never refilled, so needless to say, we did not get to eat this morning and headed back home (a 3hr drive). I told management and all that I received was an apology. I am very disappointed in our first stay based upon the breakfast and no offer for somewhat of a discount or correction (considering this is part of what we paid for). I was told that the original "cook" was not there today and some girls filled in, but that is not an excuse.

Was unpleasantly surprised to see this lime green and glass contempory structure in beautiful Amish country. I've been visiting and staying at various establishments in Holmes county for many, many years and sincerely love the area and the places we've stayed at. My wife and I walked through the Wallhouse one afternoon and I certainly had no attraction to the non-Amish feel of the building. But. MY WIFE and I decided to give it a try. The employees were VERY welcoming, and have the visitors satisfaction as their priority. They really made us feel "at home" with their hospitality! You really don't get this treatment every where! Ok, now for the room. Contempory. Brighter colors. Glass tables. Not Amish. I wasn't thrilled initially. But wow! Clean, great shower and wonderfully made comfortable big bed! Pillows, pillows, pillows! And what an absolutely beautiful view! Fantastic! After a great nights sleep, it's breakfast time. Told my wife where I'd like to eat breakfast, and wasn't at the Wallhouse. Made up my mind! But she headed downstairs before me, then returned saying how wonderful the offerings were for breakfast! Nope, going to a favorite place I like to go to for the buffet! As we were leaving and passing the Wallhouse breakfast area, I was stunned! What an offering! I was stuck on going to the buffet but we will be at their breakfast buffett on our next visit! Didn't have a chance to use their pool, but will on our next visit!
