Very clean and nice place to stay.

We stayed in suite 403 a couple weeks ago. Very nice and clean. Be aware if you use the Murphy bed it will block the path to the front door. Also there is a lot of street noise. We always take a fan but it didn't help. You couldn't enjoy the patio either.

Great place for family functions at reasonable prices.

We absolutely love this place. Our twin grandsons love the fish ponds. Must stay here when going over to amish County.

This was our second time staying at the resort. We love it here. The grounds are so well kept and keeps our daughter entertained the whole stay. From the nice sized pool, sauna, steam room, playhouses, play ground, the fish pond, the fire pit sitting area outside, family game room, theater, fresh ground coffee/espresso machine & clean quiet rooms. We recommend this place to everyone we talk to and we will be back in the fall. Only one tiny suggestion. The art studio playhouse could use a box of chalk and new dry erase markers, that was my daughters only want while there😉

We have been here several times. Our favorite place. Staff is so friendly. Rooms are spotless. We recommend this place and we will only stay here ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️ 10 stars.

Very nice place and friendly staff. The room was a bit dirty, lots of dust everywhere and some spots looked like they have never been dusted. We don't smoke so we really did not like the full ashtray on the balcony.

We stayed at the resort this past weekend (6/3-6/5) and had a great time! The room was clean and comfortable as was the pool area. The day staff was phenomenal. They were super friendly and helpful. The only downside was the lady that works at night. She was abrupt and unwelcoming and even somewhat scolded us for asking for an additional roll of toilet paper. We had interactions with her both nights that were very uncomfortable. Very sad when the rest of your staff is going out of their way to create a nice experience for your guests.

My family and I stayed here this past weekend 5/21-5/23. Beautiful place but the customer service is awful. Our AC wasn’t working properly the first night and we told the night shift desk staff, that women was so cold and unwelcoming and honestly not really interested in fixing the problem. “ I called the maintenance guy but I believe he’s in the bed”. It was fixed the next day and the housekeeping folks were very apologetic and knew exactly who the night staff that I encountered. So, I’m thinking after this, they restored their reputation. Then I lost my cellphoneupon my departure and alerted the front desk to call us if found once the room is turned over. No call. Finally, I called at 9pm on 5/23 to check once again — front desk rep said “yes, we did find it and we’ll hold until you pick up”. Called the next day to make arrangements to pick the phone up and suddenly there was miscommunication, the phone was never found. It just seems fishy and I don’t trust it. I am not complainer but I definitely think that it should be shared when people don’t treat customers right at a very nice resort. Not visiting again not because of the property but because of the staff.

I was honored to spend a weekend at the Berlin Resort. The staff was amazing. So friendly. Resort was clean and so beautiful. Ready to book my next stay! Thank you to the staff for making my experience so enjoyable!

This is our second time staying here. It is such a nice place. Location is great bc it's in the middle of all the Amish stores we like to visit. The movie theater is awesome. I mean, how you not enjoy Star Wars on the Big Screen Very clean rooms and Covid safe.

Absolutely wonderful place for a family get away! We love love the pool and movie theater and the employees are the nicest!

I only use the weight room. Great weight room, lots of free weights, no bumper plates though. Good community.

UPDATE: 11/12/20 The manager was nice enough to refund one nights stay for our inconvenience and that was very much appreciated. We would definitely give Berlin Resorts another try. What happened to us tonight I have NEVER encountered at a hotel. My daughter and I booked our 2 nights at Berlin Resort through Groupon. Upon check in tonight we encountered an empty lobby. We waited 5 minutes… 10 minutes… 20 minutes… THIRTY MINUTES still NO CLERK! We called the resort via cell phone from the lobby hoping someone would answer from around the resort somewhere but the calls went unanswered. We looked everywhere for ANYONE! Nothing. Another woman came in to check in and we told her we had been waiting forever so she went to look all over for someone and never found anyone. When it reached about 50 minutes to an hour we didn’t know what else to do! Thinking something HAD to have happened to this clerk we were about to call the police when from around the corner the female clerk came walking calmly out. I asked her where she had been for an hour and she stated very matter of factly she was doing her other duties! I was LIVID! No manager on duty so she calmly told me that the managers will be in at 7am. We tried to call the general manager but got no answer. I’m not sure I would ever stay here again after this bizarre experience!

Amazing customer service and we felt completely safe during our stay during COVID. We’ll be back again!

Property is beautiful! Beds are comfortable. Staff are nice. Rooms are big. Kids would love it!

Great for kids. We have stayed her before and love this place. Very disappointed this trip because the pool was really cold and the hot tub is shut down. Pool was even to cold for the kids to swim.

The view is beautiful just about everywhere in the area. The koi ponds and waterfalls were my favorite part, and the kids loved feeding the fish. The children's village was fantastic, especially at night when the lights stood out! The theater in the village actually had a huge tv, and played the movies on the ads outside, so that was an unexpected treat. The rooms are very comfortable, assuming you like memory foam, and came with bath and body works toiletries. Loved the walk-in shower and mini fridge, as well! Guests pick the movies for the resort theater, and with social distancing and a fairly empty resort, we had a private viewing of Ralph Breaks the Internet, complete with delivered pizza. ❤️ For our experience, it was well worth the price paid, and we'll definitely be returning!

Really nice place. We were bummed that the sauna and hot tub were closed, but with Covid-19, we understand. My daughter had a great time there, it's kid oriented for sure. She loved the little village and koi pond. No complaints, definitely would recommend.

I highly recommend this resort. I spent my 50th Birthday last week there. Very relaxing and beautiful. Along with our Executive suite. Very large n pretty. Even had a big Jacuzzi tub. Everyone was so kind especially Jessica Cooper the general manager. I had a chance to talk with her Very nice and highly educated women. That is perfect for her job! keep up the good work.

I absolutely love everything about this place and the staff makes you feel like family. Stay twice a year.

This place is absolutely beautiful by far the best resort my wife and I have stayed in the suite we’re in is beautiful and spacious checking in was a breeze and staff was amazing we will definitely be back.

Gorgeous place in the middle of rural Ohio! Great amenities! A lot of things to do in the resort, but also very relaxing. It’s a very family-oriented place The Staff are very friendly and accommodating. We truly enjoyed our stay here and for sure we will come back. Hopefully, it’s not raining next time so we can do more stuff outside as well.

Friendly staff and a great oatmeal raisin cookie upon check in. The grounds are beautiful! Casual atmosphere with things to do at the facility after the town closes down. They really have thought of everything to help time pass in the evening. Good continental breakfast.

My daughter and I just spent Friday and Saturday night there. The facility was excellant from check in and was a pleasure to behold. Our room was spacious, sparkling clean and cozy. The 2 large queen beds were so comfortable and the pillows soft and fluffy. Loved our own porch with a panoramic view of the incredible grounds. So many amenities, cheerful staff and peaceful, relaxing atmosphere made this our oasis, after an exhausting but fun day of exploring all this area has to offer. My daughter and I have wonderful memories that will last a lifetime. Thank you Berlin Resort for making them possible. Extremely pleased!

Really nice hotel! Nice fitness center, movie theater, nice rooms and nice pool area! Not to mention the scenery around it is beautiful! Highly recommend!

Very cute resort! Our children really enjoyed the kids village and the theater, and of course, the pool! The staff was very friendly and helpful, and the free breakfast was really nice. It was a great place for my husband and I to spend our anniversary, that the kids loved too!

First of all, the buildings and grounds are beautiful! We were only there one night but I wish we could have stayed for a week! And the staff was could not have been any more friendly. And they were very accommodating and interested in making sure that we had everything we needed. The beds were very comfortable, the rooms were as clean as a whistle, and they had anything available that you could ever want. It is really close to all of the (Amish) shops and the countryside around there is breathtaking! We loved it.

Spent the weekend here, and I have to say I was super impressed! Checking in was a breeze (we each got a warm oatmeal raisin cookie), and our room was super clean and spacious. We slept great the first night, but when we woke up Saturday morning, there was water dripping from the ceiling on to the sofa. I went up to grab breakfast in the lobby, and while I was there I let the front desk know about the leak, and while I ate breakfast they worked on a solution. They moved us into an upgraded suite, which was amazing! After moving into the new room, we enjoyed the pool, hot tub and steam room. All the staff we interacted with was incredibly friendly and professional, and the facility is amazing. Highly recommend to anyone looking to spend a night or more in Amish country!

My wife and I have been staying here 1-2 times a year over the last 5 years and to the region, for over 10 years. Overall the facility is awesome, specifically the staff. Always smiling and always willing to go beyond in service. However some of the amenities and features are beginning to show significant wear. The hand held shower handle was off the wall and simply lying in the shower. The reclining chairs had major signs of wear and need replaced. Our frig was OOO on our last TWO visits and a roll in unit was provided. These items are minor issues and simply to correct, but if the minor issues are left unattended, they eventually turn into major problems. The outside grounds, as always, was well kept. If management wishes to continue to charge resort prices they must invest funds to keep the rooms at resort quality. We will visit one more time and if I do not see improvements we will be forced to look for other accommodations in the area.

My daughter literally ran down to the children's play area at the hotel tonight… this place is awesome. So family friendly. The playground, fire pits, in house theatre, salt water pool/hot tub/sauna/steam room, huge jacuzzi tub/walk in shower, a fantastic free breakfast, a warm oatmeal raisin cookie when checking in and worship music playing on the grounds. My new favorite place to visit!

Can't wait to stay here again! It's so relaxing, peaceful and quiet. Also, a great starting point to explore the Amish area.

The staff was friendly and helpful, the grounds were beautiful and well-maintained, even though we visited in the Winter season. Our room was clean and luxurious, with a beautiful view! My only complaint is the continental breakfast. The coffee was less than stellar, and there were no gluten-free options other than fruit and yogurt.

Had my second stay and was not happy, don't get the economy room! the bathroom ceiling was peeling and in bad shape, toilet seat was broke, and very noisey, didn't sleep good at all! asked for manager when checking out and none there at that time, left a complaint but not heard back yet.

This was our second stay at the Berlin Hotel. The staff was so helpful and friendly. The room was very clean and comfortable. The pool and outdoor areas are awesome.

We traveled to Holmes County this weekend to visit Amish Country and our trip once again was great. We stayed in two new places this weekend to see if we liked them. One was the Berlin Hotel and Suites in Berlin, Ohio. This hotel is very nice, clean and friendly. We stayed in the Standard suite which is huge! Double sinks, whirlpool, walk in shower, 26 seat movie theater and the fresh hot cookies were great. We did experience one issue and that was the hot water ran hot for a short time, then cold, then we had to turn the water off and let it warm up, so it was a little aggravating Friday night but the hotel was full. I did talk to the front desk about the problem and they explained that everyone was using the whirlpool tubs and the water was getting used faster than it could heat. But being the friendly staff they are, they apologized and discounted our stay, thank you for stepping up Berlin Suite staff! The breakfast was good, sausage, waffles, breads, fruits and drinks, although the eggs. Oh the eggs, gotta be powdered and they were dry and looked like crumbs. I would recommend going to real eggs or liquid at least being the level of hotel you are. Maybe even adding bacon to your choices. It was still hot, and most of the food was great. We will visit you again. Thanks! Service and comfort mean alot.

The suites are great, we enjoyed ours. Unfortunately, we had to move to a "deluxe" room because the suite was unavailable the second night and it was horrible. Noisy, cold and generally uncomfortable. Avoid the rooms, only stay in the suites.

Me and my husband spent a week here for our honeymoon and it was AWESOME we are planning on going back for our 1 year anniversary. We loved this place everyon was so friendly and welcoming. They have great things to do within the hotel. Swimming, movies, basketball, gym, spa, nail salon, barber shop, lounge area. Its just great.
