We had dinner on the patio. The atmosphere and views were lovely. The menu is limited compared to the dining room menu, and no fountain drinks or tap water were available. Also, the serving Ware was disposable and we had a few issues with cups and plates almost blowing away in the lake breeze. Overall, we enjoyed our visit. The food was tasty and the service was good.

This was our first time staying at the Lakehouse Inn and we can't wait to come back! The staff were kind and helpful, and the room was comfortable. Breakfast at Crosswinds was delicious and we are in love with Lakehouse's wine selection. Our wedding ceremony was as perfect as we could have asked for; the staff were very accommodating and thoughtful with regard to our guests as well. A fantastic visit!

This is our second time here in 3 years and plan to return. Staff is great! I would recommend the suites if possible and the single rooms as a last resort. The bathrooms are tight and we only spent the time in the rooms to rest only. Great walking distance to much of the local stuff. Go to Harbor Perk for a true and actual coffee bean roast. It was the highlight for this coffee drinker.

Great atmosphere at Crosswinds at the Lakehouse. Sampled some amazing wines, such as Red Sky and Apple Cider… enjoyed talking with the bartender, Terri.

I was here for a dinner and drinks regional professional meeting. The food was excellent, some of the best catered food I've had in recent memory. The variety was also nice and the setting/layout overall subdued but good. I wish their bar had more of a selection but aside from this it was a great experience far above epectations.

2 stars for the hotel. They really need to update the rooms, especially the bathrooms. Could hear our upstairs neighbors walking around, and talking. The bathroom was really gross. The breakfast was ok at best, was better the last time we stayed, so maybe it's just not consistent. 1 star added for the spa, our couples massage was great, as was my wife's pedicure. The baby moon package was kind of disappointing, I would probably just book spa services separately with room accommodations, the other aspects were not worth it.

The lake house in as located on Geneva on the Lake in Ohio it is an up-and-coming Premier restaurant and Winery the service was outstanding and the food is what you would get at a top Chef Restaurant in New York City.

The service is great at the restaurant the food is spectacular it's definitely a must-see in Geneva on the Lake.

A fantastic place for getaway! My wife and I have been coming here for many years. There's consistently friendly service here, and the cozy beach house is nicely furnished and provides for an incredible view of Lake Erie. As far as the food is concerned, the chef here takes special care to serve local foods wherever possible. This includes grinding their own sausage, making their own charcuterie boards, and serving fascinating and creative foods. Cinnamon pork butter is a fine example of that. If you spend the night make sure to try the homemade corned beef hash. It puts all others to shame.

Eloped here this past fall with my husband and loved the place! Absolutely beautiful, clean and everyone was very nice and helpful. Really appreciated how nice and helpful they were when planning our elopement on a relatively short notice. Cute gift shop. The restaurant was excellent, by far the best of all the placed we tried in the area! Will be returning :)

Lovely inn and restaurant on the shore of Lake Erie in Geneva-on-the-Lake. Have stayed 5 or 6 times and always look forward to returning. The area is a ghost town during the off-season, but that's what makes it a peaceful getaway.

We sat down on the patio — wonderful view with a nice bottle of wine. I was bummed out that they had run out of perch. My wife really enjoyed her pizza. I ended up with the kielbasa and sauerkraut which was just okay and a bit overpriced. Definitely just go to the lower patio for the lake view, wine and maybe just an appetizer or pizza. We'll try eating in the main Crosswinds Grill next time next time for more menu choices.

What a beautiful property and winery, it's just a shame one person can ruin the whole experience! The dark haired woman with the accent behind the bar, supposedly doing the wine tastings, was very rude & thats putting it mildly! My husband and I were in from out of town, specifically to visit this establishment, after seeing many positive advertisements! We must have sat at the bar for pretty near a half an hour, a couple that was there when we arrived were being tended to, which was fine! A couple comes in and lady behind bar apparently knew them, talked constantly and served them as well, as we sat there looking invisible! She gave us water and told us she would help us shortly several times to NO avail! Finally, feeling totally disgusted, we got up and walked out! All she could say as we were leaving was ''sorry, I know I talk too much''! Ya think? Such a shame to have such an irresponsible and rude person working in such a beautiful establishment, a bit pricey, but beautiful! Needless to say we will not be back…

My wife and I stayed the weekend at the Lakehouse Inn for our 21st anniversary. We really enjoyed our time here in part because of the proximity to many local wineries and covered bridges. In addition to the staff being very personable and helpful, the Inn itself is cute and cozy. If I had a complaint it would be that our room in the main Inn was very small and the price for the room was not small at all! This phenomenon is easily explained however when you walk outside to the back of the Inn. It is situated about 30 yards from the shore of Lake Erie and the view is awesome! The Inn has made great use of the property to accentuate its proximity to the water with terraced landscaping that includes plentiful seating and an outdoor bar area. My wife and I had drinks out here in the evening and coffee both mornings. Overall it was worth the price for us!

The Lakehouse Inn & Winery was a great place to go for lunch. The food and wine were delicious! The only disappointment was that they were out of perch. That was the one thing we were looking forward to eating. This surprised us since we were seated at 12:30 in the afternoon. When you eat on the patio, there is an up-charge if you order a water. They don't have running water in their patio station, so you are charged for bottled water. It is quite a hike to the restrooms as you must walk back to the dinning room for the facilities. Dispite a few negative things, I would go back! The view and the food outweigh the minor setbacks!

Bad air conditioning, not a good Wi-Fi and restaurant only opens at 8:30 A. M.
