Cigarette holes all over the beds, strange stains on the sheets, pillows smell older than me. If you're looking for that Bates motel kinda feel, have at it. If I could give it less than 1 star I would. If you have to drive further down the road, drive it's worth waiting.

So apperently if u check in a bit past 2 am on a sunday u still have to be out by 11 am sunday not even paying for a whole night u pay for a few hours 69 bucks for nothing basically.

I know I’m choosing to stay at a budget hotel, however, there are some simple things to make customers happy. It’s clear the “budget” aspect of this hotel includes the lack of attention on the rooms. Nice guy at the front desk, but amenities are not as promised. Here’s a list: — writing this review from my phone because Wi-Fi isn’t working — remote control is MIA. Guy at front brought a new one (thanks) but doesn’t actually work — when trying to use controls on tv, went to turn on light next to it and there’s no light bulb — phone in room doesn’t work so forget quickly calling the front desk — some stains on the sheets My one wish — budget hotels would give you the minimum expectations but effectively. Budget doesn’t have to equate to lack of pride and attention over the space itself. Give me the basics, but not when the basics don’t even work — in that case, I might as well sleep in my car at the Walmart parking lot. As they say, you get what you pay for.

Shittyest hotel experience ever! I traveled 14 hrs for my grandmother's funeral. When I arrive I was Gave a room that was occupied I politely asked for another room and 2nd room had no towels. I Politely asked for towels waited 45min before going to front desk to complain at witch point instead of fixing the problem they kicked me and my children for "having an attitude" out AFTER charging my card. When I asked what I was supposed to do now that they had removed the funds from my account and was told "not my problem". Corporate was nice and took complaint but did nothing to solve my issues.

I choose this motel at random for the price. The room was very clean, smelled good, the staff was courteous, the pillows and bed were comfortable. All I needed was a place to sleep. The breakfast was pretty slim, but I didn't care. I was so glad for a good night's sleep!

The staff was very nice and friendly and the rooms were nice, clean and comfy the location was good because it was next to a restaurant! I hilghy recommend this place!

Definitely a run down place that's really outdated. One of the lamps was broken and there wasn't even cups in the room. A interesting place to walk in for the lobby because the person at the desk is behind a window with a dipped slot to pass stuff thru. It made me think of a gas station in a really bad part of town.

Would give it negative stars if I could. No other rooms in town so had to stay here. Room was "n9 smokeing" with a used ashtray on the table and overwheeling smoke smell. Paint pealing off the walls, cracked/leaking sink and couldnt get the shower to work.

So many bed bugs! I left with redness and swelling all over my body and face. Take your money somewhere else please.

I’m used to shabby and the room was certainly that including the soda can in the waste basket but food hygiene is something else! The juice dispenser was gross and the creamer, which should be refrigerated and wasn’t, was off! Also, as you can see, breakfast was posted 6:30-9:30, we went in at 9:15 and were told it was over until we insisted.

The Hotel is nice because it is clean and the staff is friendly. I feel like this made me get the most bang for my buck because the price was the best in the area. And they also gave out free breakfast which I loved. I would definitely recommend this over the other hotels in the area.

No no no run away from this place! run across the street or down the street as this econolodge is absolutely terrible! showed some $55 for a room was charged $84 for a cold worn out room run run run away from breakfast there was like yellow snot hanging from the orange juice machine no coffee it does no look anything like their picture no one would come to the window to even talk to us in the morning!

Great Service! Great for Budget! Came in one night with family to check in. Man at front desk upgraded our room so we did not have to walk far in the snowy weather. Room was decent and breakfast was adequate. Service was unforgettable.

BEWARE: Filthy run-down room with dirty sheets and bedspread covered in cigarette burns. Pretty yucky.

Eh, Not one of the better Econo Lodge I've been to. It's OK… Fairly Clean too! But, the staff, ownership… Just seem to conduct business in an unusual manner.

The staff is nice and friendly and the hotel is a good deal for the price I will go back to this location in the near future.

It had clean beds, and it was worth the 70 dollars we paid for it. There was however mold on some of the walls, and around the edge of the tub. The staff was friendly, and the gas station next to it was very nice.

DRIED BLOOD on sheets and blanket, avoid this establishment. I thought this place was pretty okay upon arrival. Besides a broken faucet in the shower and no room number tag, I thought this place was a pretty good deal for a one night stay. However, after getting out of the shower the next morning, my girlfriend (standing next to the bed) asked me if I was bleeding. Puzzled, I responded no and then noticed the bloodstained bedsheets. I looked over myself for any sort of cuts, but there was nothing. The blood was dried on the bed sheets, and then I noticed more dried blood on the blanket as well. This had to have been there for some time as it had heavily leaked into the bedding. I was fairly disgusted, having slept in dried blood and all. So when I approached the front desk and asked for a refund, the woman simply parroted that she couldn't give me a refund and made it sound as though it was my fault for not telling her sooner. I would really recommend any other hotel in the area, there are several. I would have to assume they would have less blood on their sheets as well.

Very cheap, and you get what you pay for. The room smelled like smoke, breakfast was barely existent, almost every towel/curtain/blanket was very worn, some had large holes. Location seemed kind of sketchy. Slept okay though.

Stopped in late at night as I was passing through. The room was decently priced and fit exactly what I needed, a bed for a couple hrs.

I stayed on June 13th. It didn't go so well at first since I booked the room and they didn't have, but they still gave me the room at a discounted price. I later found ou that I accidentally booked at an Econo lodge in Montpelier, Vermont. I will be back!

This place was disgusting, not only did I find long black hair all over the shower but hair all over the floors and dirty crusty sheets. When given my keys to check in I was never informed of a check out time so assumed it would be at 12 like most hotels I've traveled at. I was harassed at 10am to get out of my room when check out was at 11am. When I informed them that my check out time was never stated to me then offered to pay for a later check out date. The manager then claimed my card was declined, I simply asked her to run it again and she refused, knowing that there was nothing wrong with my card I finally got someone else to run it and it was approved like I knew it would be. They would not let me pay for a later check out or another night entirely even though when asked if someone else was checking in my room they said no. The manager then blew me a kiss and waved bye to me being a smartass trying to get under my skin. I have never experienced such poor management or such disrespectful staff. As a traveling army soldier I get the rooms are cheap but at the same time I've never had such horrible service. I will be posting the pics I took of the dirty room on yelp since I don't see an option to upload them on here.

Reserved a room after traveling from Iowa for a long period and just basically needed a bed. When I checked for bed bugs I found no evidence of that but the sheet had a something on it that was crusty. A black bug was on the sheet (it was not a bed bug) and the room was not very clean. If you just need a place to sleep this would be fine but would not recommend it for an extended period.

Pretty crappy place. There were ants in the bathtub, the tiles in the bathroom were cracked.

This place was great! The price was amazing for good the room was. This place was convenient for me and my wife to stop at because it has a great restaurant right next door. The staff was great when I had asked for extra pillows and they came to my room immediately. I definitely recommend this place to someone who really wants a good price with an even better room.

Montpelier, OH. The long standing phrase, you get what you pay for stays true with econolodge. And I didn't pay very much.

Nice hotel. Room comfy n clean. Continental breakfast was not out or being served.

Room has a stinking smell, heater wouldn't work as expected. Bathroom door needs maintenance. Water was dripping in bathtub all the night. Had to pay $75 while the online price shows $55. I had to pay it coz I have break the journey because of my little kids.

Has bedbugs, poor Wi-Fi, lousy continental breakfast and no pc/printer.

Wow… where to start? Room was kind of gross… not the worst, but pretty damn dated, with paint peeling off the walls. The internet would not work. Bathroom was clean enough. The so-called breakfast was so pitiful that I took a picture of it and posted it on Facebook. Needless to say, many LOLs were a result of the photo… I've been to other EconoLodges… they don't HAVE to be this sad, but man, do one's like this leave an impression on the brand.

Located just off ohio turnpike. Cheap price. This motel is in need of maintenance badly.

Very Unprofessional, Rooms Are Dirty, Wires From Outlet Showing, Cracked Tub, Most Importantly The Beds Are Terrible Very Uncomfortable, Choose A Different Motel.

Terrible, I never complain about the disgusting factor of a place like econolodge but this was ridiculous, used complimentary shampoo was the least of the issue. Fingernail clippings on the ground, dingy towels, hairs in the shower, and to top it off the owner and receptionist yelled at us because we asked for a different room and said people like us are a problem, (not sure what they meant by people like me and my girlfriend but we were all treated very well every other motel and people were civil to us. ) To sum it up I will try to go to motel 8 or 6 just out of spite now, even though he stated he owned those too like he's some kingpin of motels, I hope for his sake he doesn't talk to customers too much and his wife/daughter whatever she was was equally as mean and angry, maybe prejudice? I don't know but that's my review for what it is.

It started fine. The individual behind the desk was polite and courteous. The room itself was a disaster. There was a massive crack in the wall from the ceiling to the floor. The bathroom was too small and not in the best of conditions. The shower curtain was either too short or mounted too high. Some how I made it through the night only to be awakened by what I can only describe as a Drill Sergeant screaming at my face. There was a very loud and prolonged knock at the door exactly at 9:00 am. Before I could even answer the door, someone from the cleaning crew had already opened the door and was coming into the room. I'm on the road all the time and stay at hotels of all stars and sizes. This stay in particular was a royal disaster. Someone needs to let Econo Lodge know about this location in particular. I always stay at the Econo Lodge at Streetsboro, OH and never had a problem. As a matter of fact if I wasn't in such dire need of sleep, I would have pushed to make it to Streetsboro, OH. Just my luck that I couldn't make it that far east and had to spend the night in this mess.
