Very clean. Excellent food and service.

Staff is not pleasant, condescending and unhelpful. They hound you to wear a mask.
I stayed one night and was over charged $$. I was also charged for room service that was never ordered. I had to leave a voicemail for the accounting department to resolve the overcharges. Stay somewhere else!

Large room with super comfortable large bed. Very clean. COVID-19 precautions. Absolutely DELICIOUS food 🙌🏾🤗

I love this place. Really convenient If you need to get to the Cleveland clinic early. Also, great rooms, easy access, clean and most of all they have aHige bath tub!

I didn’t stay here but I did eat here while my grandmother was getting her infusion at the near by hospital. The food was amazing and service was great. I highly recommend the steak and eggs benedict!

We had the wonderful opportunity to dine at the North Coast Café located within the InterContinental Cleveland. From the time we arrived and received valet service until we were seated and greeted by the staff, the service was impeccable. The staff was courteous, attentive and food was beyond our satisfaction. I highly recommend North Coast Cafe.

Incredible service in the ballroom for the Cleveland Clinic. Only downside is: 90% of valets did not know how to drive manual shift cars. There was a lot of gear grinding and folks were upset. Even heard valets pass off cars because a car was manual.

Not sure why all these good reviews, maybe employees or people who got free rooms. The place is a bedbug infested dump. The roaches are everywhere and the staff is HORRIFICALLY untrained. I had better service at a Red Roof then this place. It's in the middle of the ghetto and the so called Cleveland Clinic police are washout security guards that some how were made cops LOLOLOL. Anyway, the area and hotel is just as bad as the staff and I don't think cleanliness is even in the training manual. At least remove the used condom from the bathroom trash after each guest. Nasty.

Want to share my experience with the Intercontinental Hotel in Cleveland, Ohio The hotel is beautiful! Here's my experience with the hotel staff. Incidentals and Valet Parking were paid prior to checking in. I verified this with the night manager immediately upon checking in. However, when I checked out; Valet Parking, Incidentals and my room charge was on my bill. The only item that should be on my bill was the charges for my room. Here's the kicker; the card used for the incidentals and valet charges was also used to charge the rate of my room. The cost of valet parking and incidentals was a gift from my daughter. The hotel charged her card and mine for the room. My daughter didn't accompany me on this trip. The hotel staff charged her card without her prior authorization. We've contacted Michael Sayers (hotel manager) and to date, we have NO resolution. We are still waiting for Michael Sayers or another Manager to respond to our phone calls and emails. Intercontinental Hotel — Cleveland, Ohio is 4.5 star hotel.

Refuge from the hospital situation. Felt safe when walking back late at night from the clinic.
EVERY ONE at the hotel was so nice and helpful. The restaurants are incredible! Foods unsurpassed in my book I all the world.

Best hospital in the world. The staff here is incredible. The people that take care of you are amazing. For whatever situation you have the nurses and doctors and rest of staff are wonderful.

Location is not advisable for getting to Cleveland. Not in a great area just outside the hospital. Loud ambulances going by constantly. Received a noise complaint for talking in the room. Most of the staff was good but some were very cold. Damaged a vehicle in the valet. Would not recommend.

This was my first experience staying at an Intercontinental Hotel. I know Intercontinental is one of IHG's top luxury brands, so my expectations were pretty high. I would say that this hotel met my expectations. The hotel facilities are very nice. The room bathrooms are large, mostly white, and sparkly clean. The rooms are mostly white as well and have large TVs and spacious area to use as desk area or spread out clothes. The beds are very comfortable. One small deficiency was the allocation of towels. We had to hunt to find two washcloths (on was on a shelf in the shower and one was folded behind the toiletries). I know this is a minor point and maybe a common treatment, but I thought to look where the hand towels were first. We ate in the restaurant and were very pleased with the selection and quality of what we ordered. One warning is that the parking is either across the street or you need to have valet parking for $30. Also, the hotel is embedded in the blocks occupied by the Cleveland Clinic and there is not much else around there.

The room was amazing and far better then expected. Staff was friendly and helpful. Wait time for our check at breakfast was a little longer then we would have hoped for, but it was well worth it for the food and environment.

Had a great time. Staff was pleasant not an issue. Rooms cleaned I mean honestly I can't say a bad thing about the place. The architecture of the budding itself is awesome the area is a bustling place and I loved it. Would recommend.

Nice location, especially if you're an out patient of the Cleveland Clinic from out of town. Hotel connects directly to the clinic. Depending upon time of year and what's going on it can be pricey. October seems to be their busiest time. Would not hesitate to recommend.

Shortly after check-in as we sat at the table in our suite discussing dinner plans, another family with a key started to enter our room. They were as shocked as we were. The front desk did credit me $30 toward room service but it should never had happened in the first place. The $19/ day to park your car is ridiculous.

World class hotel, world class service. Rooms are neat and clean, wait staff go above and beyond. Excellent.

It is OK but not intercontinental standard at all. Location is good because it is within the hospital campus. *important note: the helicopters and brave pilots and paramedics saving people’s lives and have my utmost respect and should have yours “may god bless them” will affect your sleep time if you are a light sleeper because the helipad is just next door. If you are there for the hospital, I wish you good health and god bless.

Lovely hotel. Extremely nice staff. They truly are a cut above. Very hospitable. Hotel is very very pricey. It is very nice, and convienient to the Cleveland Clinic, but the prices seem a bit ridiculous compared to the other hotels we've stayed in around there.

Always a great place to stay. The staff is fantastic, great managers, mentors feel like I'm at home and always treated like a king. I would recommend staying at this property each visit I make to Cleveland.

Real nice classy place to stay but really expensive. Try yo find deals. The bar and restaurant are also a cool place to hang out and but make sure to take a full wallet as it is also expensive.

We always stay here when visiting the Cleveland Clinic for a few days — the service is impeccable, rooms are clean and comfortable and you can walk to the clinic without going outside — highly recommend! Oh and the restaurant on first floor — go!

I have only been here to attend a reception, but I was impressed with the decor in the lobby and exhibit rooms. The hotel is upscale with a modern design, a nice inside and outside aesthetic, and ample space for conferences and meetings.

Lunch was delicious. The steak bento box was beautifully plated. It took the server a bit longer than expected to bring the check after clearing our meals away.

My family and I attended a wedding at the Intercontinental recently and it was an amazing. The staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful, the architecture is beautiful. All around a great place to visit. The rooms were very nice as well.

Service was acceptable, but honestly not as good as I was expecting. I've lived in Cleveland for more than 20 years and this was my first time staying at the hotel. Always thought of it was the tip-top hotel in Cleveland, since it's right in the Cleveland Clinic campus. Don't get me wrong, the hotel itself is very nice. The service was just okay though. Also a kind of weird thing happened. A housekeeping person knocked on my door at around 9:30, and before I could even make it to the door to see who was knocking I heard the door unlock from the outside. The lady opened the door and saw that I was in there amd just said "I'll come back later". If I had been naked, or been in the bathroom, she would have just walked right in and gotten a full show. Made the room feel a lot less private after that.

The hotel is very nice. I went there for a couple of conventions and dinners at the restaurant. The meeting Halls are roomy and modern. I wish they provided better Wi-Fi though. The restaurant has a lot of food options and I liked their Buffet. Overall a nice experience.

The intercontinental is a very nice hotel right in the middle of the Cleveland clinic campus. The campus has kind of made a "nice bubble" in the middle of an otherwise run down area of Cleveland. The rooms were modern. The beds were very comfortable, the bathrooms were very nice. We enjoyed our stay and the hotel provided an affordable alternative close to downtown Cleveland.

A beautiful skywalk entrance from the parking garage. The conference space is very well kept with some pretty good coffee. I would definitely recommend using this space for a meeting or presentation.

Beautiful hotel. Very nice modern spacious rooms, nice stand up glass shower + separate tub, service was very friendly and helpful. The only complaint is I was in room 933 and half way through the night there was periodically a fairly loud banging, what sounded like a dryer where all the clothes had gone to one side, which made it difficult to sleep.

I've stayed there many times for my appointments at Cleveland Clinic. It always been a very nice stay. Everything is clean and we'll maintained. The staff are always professional in their dress and attentiveness. It's difficult to not believe they're are all there for you. I always have felt secure there. One thing I forgot. They don't use fitted sheets. So, when you wake up in the morning, unless you're a person who moves around at night, and especially if you have a partner, you'll wake up all tied up in the sheets. I brought the review down to 4 stars.

Ate at North coast, which had an excellent multicourse buffet. The lemon salmon was delicious and they had a make your own pasta station. Overall an excellent place to eat.

This is a 4-star hotel located near the Cleveland Clinic. We have stayed many times before. It is always a good stay. Things are maintained well. The service is good.

Wonderful facility. Staff is very attentive to my needs. The conference went on without a hitch. Would highly recommend this is a destination conference facility. The owning entity the Cleveland Clinic does an amazing job with the customer service.

They picked the best, even paid for the room. Although it was a snowy day in Cleveland the smiles from the staff and the drinks from the bar made you feel warm inside. If you've never been to a five star hotel and you're in Cleveland, go where the rich go, the InterContinental Hotel.

Beautiful hotel that is connected to the clinic and parking garage via a covered bridge. We booked a suite at the associated hotel down the road but showed up and had a standard room here instead, so I'm not sure about their online booking system. Even with that, the manager was very nice and gave us free breakfast. Cons: valet only at the hotel and the public parking garage makes you pay every time you come and go which adds up quick if you're coming and going every few hours. Pros: helpful managers, large rooms, and comfortable bed. We would stay here every time we visit if breakfast and coffee (or anything in the morning) were included.

Awesome place too stay, employees are extremely friendly & Inviting willing too do anything for you, 5 minute drive to progressive field, 10 minute drive too all the best places too eat plus Jack's casino. I wouldn't stay anywhere else.

We stayed for two nights during Tribefest. The staff was helpful and friendly, changing our room for us due to having fewer people than when we reserved. We made two trips to the bar during the stay, nicely staffed and friendly. The breakfast buffet was really good ($21.00 each) and service was great there. Rooms were very spacious, huge bathroom and as always we love rooms with safes. Valet service efficient and friendly. Too bad their not within walking distance to Progressive, we would be more frequent visitors. Great hotel.

Very Nice Intercontinental Hotel. Great if you have business in the clinic, but also if you need a stay in the Area. Very attentive staff and the room I had was really modern and cool.

The room comfort and quality was great, enjoyed the atmosphere and people. Only had one problem. We arrived extremely late as my in law was having a transplant done. We booked a two bed room for two nights and was given a one bed room the first night. It was corrected the next day and the day shift wss a pleasure to work with on it unlike the night shift (manager? ). Would have been a five star stay otherwise.

Extremely rude! We were told by the clinic that parking would be a certain rate but then told else wise by the hotel when checking in after a 20 hour day full of surgery and stress. While the manager assured us that things would be solved she spoke in a condecending tone the entire time while her new associates fake smiled and nodded saying that we were incorrect. For a hotel associated with such a large and prominent hospital the service was less than desirable. We will definitely not return and would not recommend the services the hotel offers to others.

Came here for an event in the ballroom that included dinner. The hotel is beautiful inside. The valet staff was very fast. The ballroom had a great dance floor. The food was some of the best I've ever had at a hotel hosted event. Worth the trip.

Biggest disappointment I could've ever imagined! I'm a spire ambassador member and travel nation wide, came here under the impression I would have a great hotel suite for my Valentine's weekend and was stuck in a tiny room with a bottle of water and the staff was very rude while checking in with my so called "upgrade" I've been all over the States and have had nicer rooms and better service in hotels in small cities for a fraction of the price! I would have left immediately if I was here alone bit this weekend was not for me it was for us. I will not recommend this establishment to anyone PERIOD!

Room was perfect. It was very clean and very relaxing. Unfortunately that was the only good part about our stay. The staff were barely friendly and weren't knowledgeable about the room packages they offered. The mandatory valet parking was just a mess, as they weren't friendly and they assumed we knew the valet process. The hotel also failed to mention that there is a $75 dollar deposit. Luckily I had the extra money or else our trip to Cleveland would've been compromised. I will not be coming back to this hotel, nor will I suggest this place to a friend.

A wonderful hotel, with very friendly staff. We spent a week here, and they were very accommodating, bringing us a large fridge when we needed it. If you need access to the Cleveland Clinic, this is the best hotel in which to stay. It has access to the skybridge from the third floor, and the restaurant will deliver food or you can bring it up. Easy HDMI plug allowed us to watch netflix at night to unwind.

Our room was huge. We had a room behind the elevator so I was concerned but there was no noise. The benefit was a massive 20 foot window. The room was very clean with several amenities. The hotel is connected by skywalk to Cleveland Clinic which made it convenient. I am unable to walk. Wheelchairs were available in the lobby which we kept for the duration of our stay. And there is a shuttle as well as a golfcart shuttle for the skywalk. Avoid the restaurant at all cost. Horrible food and expensive.

The check in process was quick and effortless. The rooms were large and spacious and the bed really comfortable. The bathroom was lavish and clean.

Convenience what I didn't like is found out today wife stay was going to be beyond my ten day reservation and when I asked to extend to the 12th I would have to come by early in the morning so they could move me to other room so they could provide for large party coming in. This despite fact I had eaten every dinner in their restaurant for nine straight nights. This means after an already exhausting 10 days I will have to give up my present room 1 day before my original reservation is up on 12/10. This is terribly inconvenient as I am 73 years old and this seems ridiculous to be moved from one room to another Every thing otherwise has been fine. This has been quite traumatic.

The rooms were gorgeous and the staff was always eager to help in any way they could.

I stayed here while interviewing for a residency program. The staff were friendly and helpful. The room was clean and well-maintained. In terms of amenities, Wi-Fi is included. The atmosphere was nice, and it was an enjoyable stay overall. The one downside was that I had a lot of difficulty with the technology in the room. The lights were somewhat confusing to use, including one switch that would turn off power to an associated alarm clock. Consequentially, the clock time was incorrect and the clock was unintuitive to the point that I was unable to reset it, which was inconvenient. The thermostat was also confusing. On the whole, these are minor issues and may be more my fault than anything, and did not detract significantly from my stay. I'd still recommend this hotel, given its convenient proximity to the Cleveland Clinic and the fact that it is actually connected to the main hospital.

Am writing this review because I know that many of your customers stay with you because of the close proximity to the hospital. My husband had an appointment and it was just a one night stay and I am glad that we were able to get the experience before our extended stay at the end of the month. This Intercontinental is not attached to the hospital. It is located across the street so you would need to walk approximately a block to be able to enter the Clinic buildings. Now the clinic buildings are all attached to each other via walkways so we entered at the first available entrance and then found our way to where we needed to be inside the hospital facilities. This hotel is a suite so you do have a nice kitchenette and living room area. However, this hotel does not have any type of vending area or gift shop where you would be able to purchase any type of food or snacks. You have to use the restaurant on site. We are from out of town and did not want to travel outside of the Clinic Campus. The restaurant, albeit nice, is not traditional American Cuisine at all, nor does it offer any from our experience. And it is quite expensive. After our dinner, we decided to go to the Clinic to locate our tower for our visit the next day. I am glad we did. There are several dining options and gift shops located in the clinic that would more likely serve the type of families that stay here for a hospital appointment. They only serve diet sodas at the Clinic, but that was fine by us.

Simply outstanding but pricey for many patients.

This hotel is extraordinarily well-run. The service is perfect, the facilities are comfortable and impeccable, and the staff are congenial and cheerful. A dozen relatives and I stayed at the hotel for differing durations ranging up to a week, and we, a finicky bunch, were delighted with every aspect of our stay. The Suites hotel's managers clearly know how to inspire and get the best from their staff.

One of the best hotels in the Cleveland area, I would even consider it better than the Ritz; even though it is connected to the Cleveland Clinic. The rooms are spacious and the service is 5 star, everyone goes out of their way to help you. Also room service is quick and actually tastes great.
