Our room smelled strongly of mildew and obviously hadn't been thoroughly cleaned in quite some time — dust everywhere. The walls were wafer-thin and the room was missing basic amenities that you might see in any other hotel — clock, spyhole, etc. The staff was cordial but clearly not enthusiastic about being there. Can you blame them?
It’s a place to sleep. Don’t take your wife here for a romantic getaway. Take the boys here to fish then come back and catch some zzzzs. The place is fairly outdated and bedding could definitely be replaced. There’s always something broken in the rooms but as long as I’m not getting charged for it, I’m fine staying here because this is one of the cheapest, if not the the cheapest place in town just to get some sleep after a long day of fishing.

The room smelled pretty funky, the beds were beyond uncomfortable. The other guests were loud, slamming doors late at night. The walls were apparently like paper. The room was not exactly welcoming. I've paid less money for much better rooms. Won't stay again. EDIT ::Response to Owner:: Considering the state of the room upon check in, it was clear to me that only a change in hotel would remedy the situation. Seeing as I had already checked in, I decided a refund would be unlikely. May want to consider some renovation.
