This was a real bargain for the quality and cleanliness of the room. I was traveling with my dog but everyone was as hospitable as could be. People went out of their way to help me at the motel and also at the restaurant next door, where I had a great meal. Nice town, Ogallala!

Re badged Motel 6. Looks like it too. Yes, it is pet friendly. The markings of prior pets was still evident. Room air conditioning left a lot to be desired. Barely reached to opposite side of room. Staff was nice though.

Very clean place! My family stayed twice and both times the service was very friendly and helpful. The breakfast in the morning was just what we needed with coffee, juice, pancake, waffles, muffins, donuts, cereal and more. It was very convenient off the highway with gas station and restaurants across the street. The price is even better with military discount that was offered not asked for! Included was special veterans parking right in front. They had a great playground and pool! They are also NOT on the bed bug register! Thank you for the EXCELLENT, CLEAN, and SAFE place to stay on our long journey to and from home!

It's a nice motel, despite being behind a gas station. The beds were very comfortable. My only complaint is that the pool was extremely cold. This was in late June. My kids wouldn't even get in and they love swimming. Also, the hot tub was broken.

Room was fair to good. Had a minor issue but management was very responsive. Excellent continental breakfast hot sausage fresh waffles and pancakes. Would definitely stay again.

For the price it's a great place for complimentary breakfast included. Pool was seasonally closed. Hot tub was being worked on. Staff was really nice.

Location was great, right off the interstate. They had free breakfast to go in the morning, which was great so we could get right back on the road. The room was clean, hot shower, included shampoo/conditioner/body soap.

For the money, it was an adequate place to stop for a night. The room had an odd smell, like they'd used bad air freshener to cover up the odor from previous cigarette smokers. This was marked as a non smoking room. The restaurant next door was a pleasant surprise though.

The rooms were a bit old, decoration-wise, but that might be the intent. The bed was comfortable and the price was alright. Not bad for an overnight stay.

There door was not well insulated, snow was literally flying through the cracks on to the floor. When I came in the heater was off and the room was freezing. I had to jam the comforter between the door and the wall to warm it up. I highly recommend avoiding the place.

Great place, friendly staff, pet rooms available, a nature trail for walking your pets that is almost a mile, sweet! rooms were comfortable and clean, great free breakfast in morning, and to top it off a great stake place right next door! and I mean great! A must stop place for sure!

Stayed here on our second night of driving from New York to California. The hot tub was out of order but the pool was still in working condition. There is no elevator so if you get a room on the second floor be prepared to carry your stuff up a flight of stairs. The room was great, everything was clean and in good condition. The breakfast in the morning was your standard continental breakfast (yogurt, waffles, cereal, hard boiled eggs and toast) and check in and out was fast. Would recommend if you just need a place to crash for the evening.

Doors to rooms have to be slammed shut multiple times to get to close and stay closed. This causes sleep disruptions for multiple. Last thing I want to hear at 6 am is someone banging a broom or shovel up and along stairs to clear them off. Found dirty sock in bottom of my bed. No ice working but front lobby. Breakfast is more like snack.

The hotel is adorable, and np complaints about it. But the whole town stinks really bad of cow manure.

Needed a place to stay while traveling, and this fit the bill. Great location near the highway, gas stations, and a few restaurants. Room was clean and quiet, although there was a train going by now and then. Bed was a little too firm, breakfast was very limited and the pool and hot tub weren't open when I was there. It isn't perfect, but it is what I expected and what I needed at a great price.

Older building, but inside was beautiful and clean. All staff was helpful and knowledgeable. Gal that took care of breakfast area was absolutely amazing and kept everything well stocked and clean. HUGE improvement from night before Super8.

Super friendly staff at the front desk and our room was clean and comfortable. Lots of dining choices in the area. Hotel breakfast was okay, too. Will stop again!

2 star hotel, maybe… The room was clean and the bed comfortable, but it was a very cold night and the heater in the room couldn't keep up with it. I could have called the front desk for blankets, but didn't want to have to go outside to get them. So I wore extra layers in bed and was fine. Did I mention the internet wasn't working? That said a the price was low… And breakfast was… ok… I'd stay there again IF it wasn't so cold and the price was very low.

I enjoy helping the customers and giving them satisfaction I enjoy working here as the night audit and people are really nice.

Great price for what you get. Clean and comfortable. Bring AAA card for a discount if you've got one.

A little dated but very clean and great bed. Staff friendly and accommodating. Didn’t stay for breakfast.

When the young lady checking us in found out that I recently had knee surgery she put us in a room with a walk in shower. Comfy bed. All around good experience.

This place was nice. And the breakfast they serve is just right if you want to get back on the road early.

Room had a huge gap around tge door. Toilet paper, kleenex and coffee was not refilled the next day. Pools were down for maintenance and the breakfast was sub par.

Charming historic hotel built in 1971 (per the front desk clerk) which has been maintained well. Big room with a fridge and microwave and coffee pot. Cheap television but strong Wi-Fi for streaming. Pet friendly. Breakfast includes something for everyone, waffles, yogurt, apples, muffins, juice and more. Great value!

Hot tub was down and breakfast is just waffles and mini muffins, but very clean and nice people. Pool was freezing so we didnt get in but looked like fun. Brought along my dog was only a $10 fee and they put my room facing the back grass so it was easy access to take him out. Would recommend and would definitely stay here again.

Our stay was fine up until the point somebody got a key to our room and walked in while we were going to bed. Apparently someone at the front desk checked us out a day early. Not impressed.

They have dog friendly rooms and keep great care of their property. We will definitely be back if we're in the area.

They gave us king size room for the same as a queen for ground floor request. Very nice!

Good location. Check in lady was nice but the process was irritating. She manually entered two different cards and said both declined. Since they have no atm I then had to run over to the gas station to pull money off the card she said was declined. And it worked jus fine. I paid the $10 for my dog and they ended up charging my card $80 for "not telling them I had a pet". And the next morning they want you out at exactly 11 AM. If you're not, they will call every 2 minutes and knock on your door consistently asking if you are still checking out.

A nice place, I would stay again. Not super modern, but more than enough to get the job done. Most importantly, everything was clean and felt clean.

Really loved this place the staff was super nice and helpful. The place looks amazing with hard wood floors instead of nasty carpet. The beds where so big and fluffy so after our long drive it was like sleeping on a cloud. The place was packed but you couldnt tell at all no noise to bother us at all. Huge green yard for the dog to run around and stretch his legs in the back off the pool area. Over all LOVED IT wish they where all over they would be my go to place to stay!

Great stay for the rate. Rooms were clean, the pool was clean and had just the right amount of chemicals. The breakfast was a little lacking but, overall I would stay here again.

Nice and quaint. Outdoor access to rooms is nice, and the half-covered pool was fun. The shower head sputtered. Breakfast had the essentials and was good.

Was really pleased with my stay here. The rooms were in great shape and had been renivated recently. Slept really good in the bed and felt like the service was superb.

The location couldn't have been easier to find. It was right off the interstate. I checked in around 10pm and the staff was very friendly. The room was immaculate and the bed incredibly comfortable. It was one of the best night's sleep I got in a long time.

Super quick check-in! I was skeptical because the price was VERY affordable, but the room was perfect, and the front desk gave me extremely good directions to get to my room okay. They were also very understanding with my late check-in times, and switched us instantly to a different room with a bigger bed when we ended up not taking our pet. Keep up the good work, Stagecoach!

Dont stay here unless you want to be eaten alive from bed bugs! I stayed one night, the experience was ok. The next day I noticed that I had hundreds of red, itchy bumps all over my arms and back from bed bugs! I called them the next day to report what happened to me, the manager/owner was not there and the employee said that other guests have reported being bit by bed bugs as well. So I called back the next day and finally got to talk to the manager/owner, she called me a liar and was very rude and nasty to me! They definitely dont care and dont seem interested in fixing the situation! Also the nice employee I talked to the day before was fired!

Great price for what you get. Just finished a cross country road trip and this was by far the nicest place we stayed for under $75. Breakfast included hot eggs, sausage & biscuits, fresh made waffles as well as cold/hot cereal, muffins, scones, and donuts. Best breakfast by far and it's included in price. If we ever head this way again will definitely stay here.

SUPER PET FRIENDLY! Exterior entrance to each room, pull up and park at your door, but there are 2 levels so request ground floor. There is a wonderful canal path (? ) right behind the trees of the pet area! It's all level and easy to walk, and taking it to the end and back is a mile. Great place to stretch your legs and have your furkid burn off energy. Be sure to use the poop bags/trash can provided at entrance to trail. TAKE-OUT steaks from their restaurant were tender enough to cut with plastic ware provided and delicious. Check them before you take them as hubby liked Med. Steak but it was more rare… Well Done was more Med Well, which is pretty standard at most places and was PERFECT for me. Green beans were crisp tender and yummy, generous baked potato. Highly recommend this meal! Room was fresh, clean, and had a comfortable table for 2 to eat at, plus another comfy chair and small fridge, but no microwave. Plenty of room to allow our Aussie/Border mix to lay OUT OF THE WAY, and let us walk around bed, etc without disturbing her Royal Furriness! We have travelled a lot with our girl, over 14 1/2 yrs. BEST PLACE EVER! I wish this was a chain all over US… including canal path of course! Near highway, easy access, worth diverting to esp. If you've been travelling awhile!

DISGUSTING! We had cockroaches (or as the manager will say beetles) in our bed. They acted as if it was just fine and not a big deal. The sheets were not clean and had brown hard stuff on them. They made no effort to fix the situation. I would never stay here and would definitely not recommend it to anyone ever.

We really enjoyed this place! Hot tub was amazing and the indoor/outdoor pool was great too. We asked for a room not facing the truck stop and this wasn't a problem… No noise complaints at all. For the money this is really a great place to stop for the night and will return if coming this way in the future. Staff all kind and breakfast was better than most continental breakfasts nowadays. Thank you for a great experience! (oh and definitely check out the steak house next door… It will not disappoint)
