Super nice staff, room was clean, and breakfast was great! The only downside is that the internet there is extremely spotty, which made it very hard to get my work done.

@Jessica Pennington … My sincere apologies to you for having to deal with this matter… we are as upset and moreover shocked as you. As you can see from our reviews, we take the cleanliness and appearance of our property very serious. Taking care of our guests is of utmost importance to us as well. Unfortunately, what I am finding out from our pest control company that this problem can happen anywhere in the rental and hospitality business. We have taken every step of protocol given to us by our pest control representative and have aggressively taken care of the problem. All pests are as much of a concern to us at our property as it would be in your homes … from ants, flies, mice etc. We do Not want them on site so if ever an issue arises we eliminate them as safe and quickly as possible. I hope that you took the precautions given to us by our pest control rep in handling your luggage, as this is exactly how they are able to relocate themselves to a new property or home. We have learned a lot through this and will be net working with other properties in the area to assure that elimination is being carried out and taken as serious as we have taken this. Complete elimination is the only prevention to stop this invasive pest. Please follow up with your booking agent to be sure that you were compensated for your entire stay as I personally handled that credit. I travelled here with my boyfriend for work. The room was huge and clean. We were nervous because there weren't many hotel choices in wadena. This was a great choice. Close drive to downtown. Nice hot tub and sauna. We enjoyed our stay and will be back.

We have stayed at the Wadena AmericInn multiple times. The facilities are very clean, well organized, excellent staff, serves a fantastic breakfast, pool, hot tub and sauna, and is easily accessible.

My wife and I recently stayed one night at this hotel. Our room was clean and adequate to our needs. The complimentary breakfast was also about what you would expect from this type of hotel. I did have a complaint about the staff member that checked us in. As we were standing at his counter, he took a phone call. Instead of putting the caller on hold, and helping the people standing in front of him, he proceeded to complete their reservation request. I felt snubbed. I thought it was rude.

This is a beautiful establishment with nice rooms and comfortable beds. Big Tv's, fridge, microwave as well as a luggage stand are in the room. A great selection of breakfast in the morning. The pool was nice, along with a hot tub and a sauna. The staff were very pleasant as well. Great place to stay!
