Needs to be deep cleaned, change the carpets. Update the rooms to something more fresh. Need to hire a real housekeeper to keep the rooms nicer.

Great service, nice clean room with all the promised features and amenities, good free breakfast, and they even brought a TV to our room with the correct hook-ups for our streaming device since we weren't able to watch Netflix with the TV that was already in our room. All that along with a nice location makes for a fantastic stay, especially for the low price.

Jessica the Manager was awesome, as well as her staff. Very friendly, helpful, and ready to assist with whatever I needed. When I walked in the place it smelled clean and my room smelled clean and looked clean; including towels and bedding. The bed was also comfortable and rates are very reasonable. I am very pleased and would definitely stay here again! Keep up the GREAT work!

Friendly staff but could use a bit of training and the breakfast wasn't all that either the room appeared to be clean but was a bit out dated in my opinion nice place to stay for the price but you get what you pay for.

The man at the front desk was very nice and accommodating when we checked in. However, the room had dirty cobwebs in every corner and on the ceiling where the cool air from the ac blows. There was also a large one in one of the corners at eye level. I can't believe someone cleaning the room wouldn't see it. The shower curtain had mold on it and smelled. I didn't have a bath mat so had to use the 1 washcloth that was provided. The remote control for the air conditioner didn't work and because it was a wall unit and up high, I had a hard time seeing what I was doing when trying to regulate it. The bed was so-so comfort wise and the sheets were clean. The pillows could use updating as the 2 that were on my bed were pretty flat and not comfortable. The hand soap dispenser by my sink either leaked or no one cleaned underneath as there was soap built up where it dripped. There wasn't much for breakfast although the coffee was good. When checking out I wanted a receipt but after several times calling 0, as per the instructions left at the window to get assistance, my call wasn't answered and no one came. I left empty handed. I normally read reviews for hotels before booking, but in this instance didn't have a chance. I will not be staying here again.

Amazing location and service.

Friends and I got a room for the night. Decent room for the price. The woman running the place was very helpful, especially after we locked our see elves out of our room… twice. Good experience overall.

Friendly staff, beds are hard for my liking.

First off I feel that customer service is the most important aspect of a Great hotel. The gentleman at the front desk treated me like royalty and went above and beyond for a last minute snow emergency stay. Many times you see hotels that will price gouge you when they know the weather is going to be bad. I came in and not only did he accommodate me he gave me a great price on a late night check in. The room was very cozy and CLEAN! The bed was very comfortable. The room was warm as many smaller hotels will typically make their rooms freezing it was a breath of warm air! The room was very quiet and overall I couldn’t say better things about the Waconia Inn & Suites! Thank you for such an extraordinary experience! I don’t typically have time to write reviews but this couldn’t go unrecognized!

This hotel is being renovated, and not all rooms are ready. The desk clerk who checked us in was helpful, and when I requested extra pillows and towels, she brought them to me right away. There was a mix-up with my reservation, but after speaking with the owner it was resolved to my satisfaction.

Besides the fact that this motel is a dump the management here is VERY unprofessional. I would never recommend this place to anyone. If I had to chose my car or this motel I rather chose my car. Good Luck to anyone who stays here.

We came here for the swimming pool that they have posted on their site, for the kids, but they do NOT have a pool. Their breakfast is lite. The rooms are restful. They do have a microwave and fridge. Because of the misleading info that frustrated us they get the rating.

This place is not good. Soap, shampoo and conditioner dispensers are in tub you have to walk between them to get them and they attached to the wall. Walls are paper thin and bed is very uncomfortable n.

They do not deserve any stars. Could the woman at the front desk be any crabbier, no air conditioning in the lobby, rooms canceled by them not myself due to poor management they claim,. WHO DOES THAT? Run! There are other motels and towns with motels nearby… RUN. This joint totally ruined our wedding experience this past weekend. Coming in from out of town with no where to stay. NEGATIVE10 stars.

Go to americInn, this staff is rude! You want loyal trustworthy customer service and trust a company to accommodate you're guests or any event without stealing your money and lie to you DO NOT STAY HERE, blocked rooms for my wedding guests end of last yr and even a week before the wedding people confirmed their rooms and when they showed up they didn't have them anymore, my guests had to drive home and they didn't live close! They said other people from Arizona and must be other guests of a wedding were in distraught because they confirmed rooms earlier that week and come to find out they don't have a place to stay! They even charged me a room when I never said I was staying there! Please avoid this place.

I am not giving this any stars, I blocked rooms for our wedding end of last year and our wedding was this past weekend. I found out the following day of my wedding that my guests that reserved their rooms never got their them. Due to a manager being fired they had to clean the system and start over? I had guests that have been drinking and elderly that do not like to drive at night, I provided shuttle buses so my guests had a safe ride to their hotel but they never had their hotel. And some of the excuses were my guests lived too close to get a room!? are you kidding me!?! I even talked to this hotel a week or two before hand making sure we still had our rooms how many were left if any and I was told yes people had rooms ready to go, I am very displeased with this hotel and how they handled my guests and would not recommend this place to anyone. There were other ways they could of handled firing a manager that DOES NOT interfere with guests that already reserved rooms. I was not the only wedding party that blocked rooms I heard another wedding a guest with his elderly mother slept in the lobby because they didn't get their room they reserved. I am so disgusted and appalled by this whole ordeal.

I enjoy to stay @ Waconia Inn Hotel, the room is clean, service is good.

The workers were so friendly and helpful! The manager Jay made sure I had everything I needed.

Convenient hotel for staying and working in Waconia, managers were friendly and had a pleasant stay.

First of all when I called I could barely understand the person on the phone. I then went to cancel the reservation the night before arrival and after ringing about 10 times I was directed back to the original greeting. I tried 5 or 6 times to reach the front desk with no answer. (I have cell phone records to prove I called). When I finally reached someone the next morning I was told in no uncertain terms that there was someone at the front desk when I called. I complained to Super 8 corp. And received a letter today from Super 8 Waconia which indicated that they weren't going to charge me for the room but when the corporate complaint was received they charged me for the room! Don't stay here!
