Location was great, easily accessible. The pool area was nice and very clean. The rooms are spacious and well maintained. Definitely recommend.

The room was nice for the price, I liked being close to the mall and all the restaurants, I recommend booking in advance if you are going on the weekend or if there is a event going on around the area, I barely was able to get in to a room.

Its clean the lobby is welcoming most of tbe staff is polite and pleasent the owner the man is very. Nice. His. Wife. On. The othwr hand. Is. Very rude.

I'm love having a smoking room when it's so cold outside rooms are clean a little out dated that can be fixed Easley.

Cheaper option… allows you to pay in cash without id for non smoking room! Not the nicest place in town but for under 90$ a night you can't expect to much mini fridge is fairly large bathroom also decent sized the color scheme was horrendous as is the decor so if that type of thing bothers you your gonna want to pass otherwise not a bad place staff was nice and helpful it was quite for the most part location is across from the mail and next to the freeway which is nice.

Not a bad spot for the price, decent rooms. Modern-ish bathrooms, decent sized flat screen on the wall. Nothing too fancy but not trashy either. Will definitely be staying here again.

We decided to get a room here because it is within walking distance to the myth. Customer service was decent. When we got to the room we noticed it smelled like stale cigs. Yes we got a smoking room but be aware that the windows do NOT open. Most of the cables for the TV and such sticking out of the wall. You get what you pay for. While I was gathering all of my things, I noticed something on the floor. I went to grab it and noticed it was a butt plug! Simple mistake for missing it but ew!

If I could give this place a no star review I would worst customer service in the industry very dissatisfied customer here spent a week in their overpriced rooms in the heart of Maplewood then told on the last night that you are not allowed to have guests come over after 10pm which is not displayed anywhere on the property and told the following morning that I had to find a new hotel room an hour before check out that day because I had friends I hadn't seen in 5 years come to visit I argued that it wasn't displayed anywhere on the property that you aren't able to have guest visit after 10 and was treated rudely by the night desk clerk mind you I had just payed this poor excuse of a hotel over $500.00 in the last week the owner basically told me tough and I had 2 hrs to be out terrible customer service what ever happened to the customer is always right obviously not here! Will never go back to this place ever.

Bathroom in our room was dirty when we checked in, which was gross. Staff were great though in making things right.

Clean, simple room. Quiet for a monday. Close to lots of restaurants and bars within walking distant.

According to my friend who stayed at this hotel, they had to switch her from her original room because it was in pretty bad shape. According to her the door was jammed, and the furniture was in bad shape. There was nothing particularly special. A Motel 8 would've been cheaper and frankly, better.

Gross! Comfortable but nastiest place I've stayed. Holes in the walls. Windows were dirty. Smudges on the mirror. Hair on the tub plug. Just gross.

Nice clean rooms. Nightly or weekly rates. Manager was great and made sure I enjoyed my stay.

My first stay at this establishment was relegated to sleeping in my mobile flop house in the parking lot next to the trash. I wasn't hassled by anybody and I wanna say that the place has earned such a bad rep t Gideon's dare not leave any bibles, lest they be torn asunder like Christians to the lions and criminal greAse mongers use the pages to roll spliffs. But at least nobody hassled me as I slept without interruption until the storm rolled in. That's a better outcome than other situations one finds traveling across the states and abroad with your.

Stopped at Emerald Inn to pick up a friend. Walked into the lobby. It was quiet and clean. Well lit and smelled fresh. It appeared to be a decent place to stay. Did not get to see the inside of the rooms though.

Staff was very nice, our plans didn't work out and we needed to change to the next day 10 minutes after I booked the room at 11:00pm at night. The staff at night directed me to a manager to talk to the next day who would either allow me to switch my stay or refund my money. Of course per the paper I signed it clearly states 24 hour notice, no refund. I was expecting no refund and to be out the money I spent for the room. I went there to talk to the manager the next afternoon​ and the money had already been refunded to my credit card (already posted on my card too) and they were so understanding, since I never went into the room and told them 10 after I booked the room they were happy to refund my money. I will definitely go back there. The staff is very nice, Harmon works two jobs, still is professional and willing to help.

I called on a room very early Saturday morning for immediate occupancy. I was out later than I expected, had a long drive home and didn't want to risk driving as I was extremely tired. I chose Emerald as it was a very short drive from my location. Max, the person who was the night clerk, answered the phone promptly and courteously. The room was about two stars. You could tell from the odor that it had recently been painted. The carpet was rather stiff under my feet. It was apparent that it has recently been shampooed. Aesthetically, the room looked trashed. The curtains were barely hanging on the rod; there was a night stand that was missing a handle and looking extremely "beat up". However, the bed was EXTREMELY comfortable; the sheets were clean; the pillows in great shape. Despite the "condition" of the other furniture, the room was clean, as well as the bathroom; there were ample clean, new towels, toilet paper, etc. On any other night, I would more than likely have requested a different room. I'm glad I didn't. The bed was so comfy; the hotel and surrounding area was quiet. I slept like a rock. Max offered me a late check out of noon rather than 11 a. M. Which was quite helpful. The lobby was decorated nicely; was clean and inviting. Upon leaving, the day clerk was smiling and courteous. There was fresh, hot, strong coffee with real half and half provided (the real half and half is definitely a plus for this slightly high maintenance chick).

For $80 per night, I would not have expected THAT much filth and grime. The front desk guy made me feel very uncomfortable!

Cold. Its freezing there. Many things missing from rooms… like lamp shades, door knobs, pictures off wall…

Stayed here Valentine's weekend this year for Myths "love lock down" Our group of four paid for two rooms, so it was roughly around $210 total. Great location but worst service ever. We arrived and all of our towels were still wet and our rooms were not even clean. Check for bed bugs and sure enough there were. Not the worst part of the trip yet, upon arrival front counter said we can have visitors till 11pm than they had to go. We told them in advance that our group was there for Myth's event. Around 9 pm we had about 5 visitors there to join us. We were drinking a little before Myth's event like how everyone else does before Myth events. We got kick out around 10pm with no warning of being to loud or having to much visitors. Got called down and they said they were kicking us out for having to much visitors and bringing alcohol in. We check in at 6pm and got kick out at 9pm. They kept all the money too. Moral of story: this place sucks, bad place to drink if you are there for J4 or any myth event. Liars, and one door entrance (no side doors).

I don't know how this place has a 4 star rating. The bathrooms are small and falling apart, and while the rooms seemed clean it had the feeling of a place a step above an hourly hotel. The value was good if you just want a place to sleep, but there are better places then this for not much more money.
