Room was updated and spacious. TV channels weren't the greatest but at the price who cares. Staff were super friendly helpful with any questions I had.

Don't sleep in here. I was called 4 times in 20 minutes, and door knocked on twice. Just trying to shower and get out. Talk about no respect! This is after the 1st call, I said I was running late. I even called 20 minutes, before check out, the front desk would not answer. So frustrating! Well worth the price to stay some place else!

The room was the most spacious Motel 6 room in which I've stayed. It was very clean and spotless. I was in the midst of a 1, 600 road trip. I had my cocker spaniel with me, and there was a very nice lawn for his business as well as waste bags provided. There were wide trails that connected to local parks and lakes that allowed us to get a couple mile walk in before bed. And, it is adjacent to a strip mall with a great barbecue joint-Baldy's (1/2 priced apps after 9). It was super convenient to the highway and had a gas station and McDonald's there for breakfast. I could not more highly recommend this place for a no-frills stay while traveling.

We needed a place to stay for one night and this was fine. There are no extras in the room, no clock, no hairdryer, no shampoo, etc. But we didn't need that for this trip. Also, no coffee in the room. While I waited to check in two customers ahead of me had reservations that were not found in their system, so I waited 45 minutes to check in. I have to give the staff working a lot of credit, as he kept his cool, contacted people for help and was very patient and kind to everyone.

Front Desk attendants were friendly. Room was small and musty smelling. Housekeepers didn't want to change bed linen and didn't want to give new towels. Toilet and sink pipes were leaking leaving floor wet all the time. We was on the ground floor, housekeeper came in to clean and left window and curtains open where everyone could see in our room. Spoke with manager about all of these issues and nothing was done. Will not be recommending anyone to stay here.

The rooms and customer service were amazing. By far the cleanest motel 6 I have stayed in. However during our stay I woke up to my 6 year old son turning blue and unable to breathe and very out of it. I called 911 and while they were there we noticed an OZONE machine plugged in and on in the corner of our room. We had been there maybe 10 hrs with it on not knowing. Ems said its very possible that caused it because I was feeling off aswell. He was rushed to Er had X-ray's of his chest/neck and Nothing showed which also lead us to believe the ozone could have triggered it. I use to work as a house keeper I know that those machines are not suppose to be in occupied rooms it poses health risks. I brought the machine up to the desk as soon as I got back from the Er.

Was a decent enough stay for the price tho l wouldn't have minded carpeting. The front desk clerk was wonderful. Clean rooms. Quiet. Beds were a bit rough but cannot complain. Over all experience was ok.

Karen was great! Very warm and friendly and helpful. Room was laid out well for getting around in a chair. Motel was quiet and the staff was friendly.

Hotel was great, staff was very friendly, rooms were very clean. Only thing that bothers me was old mattress on the bed and there was a carpet smell in the hallway. Rest was perfect.

Susan at the front desk was great to provide suggestions for restaurants. I was sad to see the grounds in bad shape in the dog waste department. The baggie dispenser and waste basket was missing on one side of the building, but available and well stocked with bags on the other side of the motel. Some people are pigs for not cleaning up after their dogs! They give dog owners a bad reputation.

When we stay in Lakeville, MN this is where we usually stay, unfortunately there is a great possibility that we will find a different place for future stays. I am only giving a 2 star rating for a couple reasons including: 1. The parking lot is absolutely ridiculous. There are so many large potholes and I nearly twisted my ankle walking through it. 2. The “secured” doors all around the building are NOT secured. Unlike what it says on the door, none of them lock and anyone can get inside the building 3. The screen for the window in the room we stayed in (on the 2nd floor) is unsafe as it is ripped at the bottom and is essential a safety hazard. 4. Walking into the building to go to our room we were overwhelmed with an extremely dissatisfying odor, as well as an overpowering smell of marijuana, not something my kids need to be smelling. While the customer service was good, we are very disappointed with our stay ths week, and are not sure if we will return to this location in the future.

The room was clean, the beds were comfortable, the desk clerk was very friendly and efficient, and there was no street noise. The windows even open so I could have it open all night! I would definitely recommend this for a budget traveler like myself.

Small hotel with average size rooms. A bit smoky in the hallways but the room was nice. Would like to see a complimentary mini frig.

Overall experience was very good and I was frankly quite surprised. My TV was broken, but they fixed that immediately upon notification. The room was very clean. Nice wood laminate flooring, plenty of clothing storage space. Each floor had its own ice machine and vending machines for drinks and snacks. Super convenient as its location is right off I-35, close to a Walmart and options for eating out. The staff I dealt with were super friendly and helpful. The parking lot needs work because of the potholes. Was disappointed that there were no rooms for smokers, and as a woman traveling alone, I was very uncomfortable going outside to smoke. This may be a state law though. I would stay here again, most definitely.

Oh I just love every time I stay at a Motel 6 the inviting clean smell of the rooms the beds made neatly the television on with the guide ready to go in the friendly and courteous Hotel staff it really make it what it is.

I've stayed in a lot of motel6's all over the country. This was the worst one. They ended up kicking my family out instead of telling us their policy. We literally had to leave. Worst management ever, however the front desk worker were extremely nice. They need to update or at least inform people of all policies.

The room is clean! Thank goodness it has a tile floor rather than carpet! The parking lot is full of potholes, but it is spring in Minnesota, so no surprising.

Your rooms are in much better shape since my last visit. I believe you had your rooms renovated since then. The bare floors for the rooms allowing pets is excellent! The room was large, clean and comfortable. If the snow hadn't been so deep, the dog area would have been perfect. That, of course, was not your fault!

This place is fairly cheap compared to the other hotels in the area. Its a very basic room, but is a good place to go if you're just using the place for sleep.

Front staff was nice and helpful. The room was adequate for my needs. Overall it worked out fine.

Awesome! Love that it's no carpet to get dirty by the snow on your shoes, it's all hard wood floor rooms. Great food also in walking distance across the parking lot.

It was cold, and because the thermostat is on the heater it was cycling every couple of minutes, also making the room hot. I stayed two days… the room was not cleaned or even towels replaced during my visit. Otherwise, the hotel was simple but clean and met my needs.

I have been to others (Motel 6) and this by far was a really great experience. It was for a relaxing evening away from the kids… hehehe. I enjoyed the great customer service checking in and out, and the cleanliness was wonderful.

We were very pleased with the Staff and the room. It was a quiet place even with it being dog friendly. We would recommend it to anyone. It was very clean and updated. The staff checked with us to be sure everything was up to par. And it was. Thank you Lakeville we enjoyed our stay!

Location is great for anyone looking to stay in Lakeville. Reasonably priced. Be aware of the severe smell of smoke throughout the building and hallways. However, our room did not smell. I think the patrons are not asked to step away and extinguish materials before entering. Did not expect to have to pay for wireless.

Room was very clean, tidy and had everything needed for a comfortable night's rest. Nothing fancy, but appreciated not having carpet. Floor and bathroom super clean. Beds very comfortable. For the price, it was a really good buy.

The Hotel was nice, but the room did not have a microwave or refrigerator and I stayed more than a day. At the time of the reservation customer service did not ask if I wanted a microwave or refrigerator in the room I assumed they were in the room and did not request them. As for being pet friendly it was very friendly. Small laundry room and no computer access.

In this day and age there are some things that are expected in hotel rooms. I understand you want to keep prices down but the other low cost hotels have them. Things such as: Hairdryer, clock, shampoo at a minimum. Almost everyone else also now also have irons and ironing boards.

I got in late and left early, your place was clean and the desk service was prompt and efficient. The bed was comfortable, the plumbing worked. Perfect for my brief stay, thanks. Also appreciate that you welcome pets and have some space behind the building for walking them! I hope most pet owners are responsible about cleaning up!

We appreciate the value of the motel and close proximity of the facilities to the interstate, allowing us to easily stay south of Minneapolis, but quickly access the city in 10 minutes. We also appreciate the staff providing us with a room anyway, even though other rooms weren't available when we originally checked in, and the coffee available in the morning. The motel staff worked hard to clean the facility, but there was definitely the odor and smell of an older motel facility in the air. Not a big deal.

Great Place, Great Community, Great Location! Just off of I-35, close to food (Check out Rudy's Red Eye Grill), Laundromat and Walmart close. Nice renovation… Check out the suite! $15 more and it feels like home! Living room and dining area on top of full-sized bedroom! Staff was great! Most places would charge $150+ for this… So very pleased!

When we pulled into the parking lot, there seemed to be an altercation between some truck drivers so we quickly unloaded to get into our room. I'm pretty sure a prostitute followed us in the side door so we hustled into our room and locked the door. We double locked it for our own safety — as advised by the hotel sign posted to the inside of the door. I sat on the bed and could hear the plastic covering on the mattress beneath the sheets so I started freaking out about bugs. We decided to sleep fully clothed ON TOP of the bedding and cover up with the blankets we keep in the car and to keep our bags in the bathtub where they wouldn't be in contact with any hotel bedding. The air conditioner was on a timer and would automatically turn off after 30 minutes — which is unfortunate because if it had been running, maybe we would have slept through the screams from down the hallway at 3am! We woke up early to leave and noticed (while I was snapping a pic of the warning sign on the door) the pry bar marks from someone trying to break into the room at some point! When we got to the parking lot, I was happy to see that our vehicle still had all the wheels and hadn't been broken into. I was also happy to be leaving — because a police K9 unit was parked out front! Too much excitement for us! Major bummer — because I totally love the Motel 6 commercials. Don't leave the light on for us, because we won't be back.

I travel alone with a small dog. Motel 6 staff are friendly and pleasant, and I feel safe as I walk him in the area and when I take care of checking in/out. The rooms have been clean and I especially appreciate the clean bathrooms. We do not use any extras when we travel, so appreciate having an inexpensive place with just the basics and no extra fees for a dog that behaves well and does not damage or disturb other guests.

There is not free Wi-Fi at all locations, depends if it's a franchise or corporate. This one has Wi-Fi either 2.99 or 4.99 PER DAY and it can only be connected on one device at a time. I had my phone so I was fine. There is not a pool here, no complimentary breakfast but there's coffee. I was in upper floor and our room was awesome. It's small bathrooms but most motel bathrooms are. The microwave and fridge are NOT included. You have to pay $3.00 PER DAY to have them, so it's great for overnight or a few days vacation, depending on your preference. I loved the staff, our favorite was Karen at the front desk because she was very helpful, always friendly and made us feel like friends :)

The ground floor room I was promised when I made the reservation was not available at ~430pm. I was told essentially "too bad, it's first come first serve". No handicap room was available either. My ground floor room reservation was guaranteed on my credit card. I was told my request for ground floor, no smoking would be honored when I made the reservation. The hallways smelled like dirty ashtrays. The floor in my room was dirty. I needed to change socks prior to putting my shoes on after walking stocking footed in the room while getting dressed in the morning. The bathroom vanity had absolutely no room for toiletries.

Very basic room amenities, but was clean, safe, and friendly staff. Great if you need to crash for a night.

Convenient location with easy I-35 access. They're in the process of repainting, but the whole building smelled like cigarettes (even though it's smoke free).

Very good pet friendly place. Had just been discharged from the hospital and wasn't up to driving home yet. This was a clean quiet place to rest and my dogs were very happy here. Amenities that I needed were close by.

Room is clean and staff is friendly. Only bad thing so far was the keys not working the next day. No big deal.

Complimentary breakfast, free Wi-Fi and a pool would make it perfect!

Stayed at St. Paul location. It was no better or worse than any hotel. My reason for choosing them was a reasonable price. Better breakfast would be perfect!

After hearing a horror story about this place, we were happily surprised to find a nicely remodeled room. The single queen room even had a microwave and fridge! This is the only pet friendly hotel in the area so we will probably stay here again.

Nice little motel. Great rate. Modern decor, sink, TV and hard wood floors. A small and simple room — but it met our needs. Great A/C on a very, very hot and humid weekend. Was a perfect location and price for what we needed for a one night stay.

They state on their website "pets welcome". We are in the process of relocating. When I called to make a reservation I asked how many pets per room are allowed. I was told 2 per room. Since we have 4 pets, I reserved two rooms (for1 week). I get a call on the same day of arrival saying they now only allow1 pet per room. We are traveling over1000 miles and are in a bind and need to search for another hotel. If this is the way motel 6 does business I will never stay another night at this hotel chain.

August7/2015 Great room. Veryyyyyyy clean. Flat screen tv. Great location. 15 mins away from mall of America. Subway McDonald's gas station many more right next door. No pool no breakfast. Staff nice. Place is quiet. I recommend everyone to come here. We will be back. Great price for 3nights. Clean clean clean I say!

Very good for the price, good employees.

Awful customer service. Extremely rude when I was trying to give them business for a solid 3 months straight. Really unaccommodating, would not recommend staying here. I would rather pay extra per night to stay somewhere else when treated poorly.

Hands down the nastiest hotel I've ever stayed in. My bed had a bunch of hairs on the pillows, in the sheets, and a big long black one in the sheets at the foot of the bed. I was absolutely disgusted to say the least as it was quite obvious the sheets hadn't been changed. The room had a very musty sweaty festering sock smell that was the final straw for me. The bed was extremely uncomfortable and the TV was a blast from the past. I was kind of surprised they didn't have a VCR with a tape rewinder. The staff was nice and very accommodating and I had absolutely no problem canceling my three day reservation.

If you dont have a pic i. D, just the dmv yellow paper. Call the police an they can verfie who you are. You will get a hard time, but if your honest withem, you will get a room.
