I can look past the very squishy pillows, non functioning remote and very very loud fans and ac in the room. But cold showers on both days because they ran out of hot water… that's a no go.

Very comfortable and clean. Everyone was friendly. We enjoyed the free breakfast even though it was standard fare: scrambled egg patty, sausage, bagels, toast cereal and the now omnipresent waffle maker. Eating area was bright and clean and comfortable. Simple enough to get back to highway. Would definitely stay here again.

Clean and very friendly staff. Super comfy bed is a plus. The continental breakfast is very nice to have! Will stay here each visit to Albany.

Check in was speedy because I had a reservation. I was placed in a convenient room. During my two night stay I was not disturbed by housekeeping. The location was fairly quiet.

I have stayed here a few times always a great stay!

We stayed May 31, 2018 in room 103. When you get there you can’t even access the lobby. You have to book your room through a glass window with a speaker, you can barley hear. That was my first clue I should have left and booked one of the many other hotels. My youngest was cranky and tired of driving so I proceeded to get a room with double beds. You only get one room key and on entry the room definitely had an odor. My daughter said it smelled like play dough. The beds looked neat and clean thank goodness! They were however very hard. Their was a chair in the corner that was threadbare and not clean in appearance. The bathroom fixtures were rusted and there were questionable brown marks on the door. The bathroom was so small if you are sitting on the potty you can’t open and close the door. The window curtains wouldn’t close enough to not have a gap. I removed a hanger with clips for pants and clipped it to the curtain to hold it closed with some success. The ironing board was old and stained and hung on the wall which added to the overall grungy appearance of the place. It did have newer laminate hardwood floor. I didn’t feel like it was overly clean. I was thankful that it wasn’t carpet or the smell would have likely been unbearable. There were chipping paint in the bathroom and some odd fixture that hung from the ceiling over a desk that had a metal cord of some sort that went into the ceiling.

The hotel room was very clean, and the front desk staff were very friendly. The pool is open from 7am-midnight and the free continental breakfast is from 6am-9am, with a variety of options! The hotel is located conveniently right off the highway near some great restaurants and salons that are within walking distance. They do have a small workout room that has 1 treadmill and 1 stationary bicycle near the pool area, it's a little musty due to being so close to the pool but you can turn the a/c unit on to get rid of the smell.

It was really peaceful quite we would stay there again. It was actually better than I thought it would be and very clean.

The hotel was nice and cost. The motel staff were very accommodating.

Rooms were clean, service was amazing, located by CVS, a grocery store, and 2 gas stations. Very friendly staff! Stay was great! Will go back again next visit to Albany!

We stayed 3 nights and 4 days. The bed was very comfy. Staff was amazing and friendly. They put out hot breakfast just for us when the other breakfast was gone when we came down to eat. Very good experience!

Great hotel! My kids loved the pool and the staff was very friendly and helpful!

Horrible customer service. I called the first time about a month ago to make a wedding block reservation. I’ve called at least 4 times since and every time the manager has not been there and the staff has told me they would leave a message for him to call me back. Still nothing! Ended up giving up on them and making a block elsewhere.

Appears to be newly renovated, the rooms are quite appealing, clean, and comfortable. The breakfast is limited, but free. The staff is friendly and helpful. My only complaint was that there was no elevator and the entrance to each room is outside. We had to lug heavy suitcases and bags up the stairs in the cold. Not a problem for an overnight or weekend stay during the warmer months, but was pretty inconvenient at that time.

Flippy waffle maker! It's a adequate place to stay. Convenient, right off the freeway exit. Not fancy, clean, and friendly staff. Complaints — Mini fridge didn't work and pool always had way loud kids.

Decent sized room — seemed clean, friendly staff upon checkin. Breakfast not stellar but filled a hole, hot coffee-there was lots of carb options — family got nausea tho after eating. :/ refrig (no frz. Compartment) and micro wave in room. Close to freeway tho convenient, yet maybe not the quietest. Single vehicle Parking in front ok. Could be a problem with trailers.

My family and myself had a wonderful experience at this location. The bedrooms, pool, hot tub, and conference room were all exceptionally clean and the staff were extremely friendly. I definately recommend this place.

Great fun at this hotel in Albany, MN. Very clean, courteous staff, very cozy. We rented the conference room for a family reunion and all enjoyed the amenities. Pool is close to the conference room, front desk, and lobby area so it was easy to keep track of small kids. Highly recommended.

The room looks a bit old, but is clean. The room and the bathroom was a little small. It is close to a few restaurants.

We stay a lot it is always clean and comfortable and most of the time but to there are same damn kids hockey teams here.

The rooms were very nice and the bathroom was also great! The service there was polite and very helpful.

Rooms were nice and clean, staff was friendly and the pool was nice. The AC heater combo wasn't great and fitness center was one treadmill and one bike. Still, good place to stay if you need to be in the area.

Good amenities, but could use a few more such as free use of the washing machine and better breakfast options.

The stay was decent, but aside from the friendly staff, I didn't find anything to stand out greatly. I stayed for a couple of weeks while working in the area and during my time, I don't have complaints. The rooms were clean and quiet, with no frills. The one thing that I did find bothersome however, was the color of the pool water. It had a strange green tint. It may have just been the lighting, but I never found it to be enticing.

The price is great the beds are awesome but the breakfast was very very low quality. As I heard someone say u get better breakfast in jail. Not sure how I feel about the place.

Great place. Spacious, clean rooms. Great location off the interstate and close to gas and fast foods. Short ride into St Cloud and Msp.

We stayed at the Baymont 1 night and I was so impressed from the minute we checked in to the minute we checked out. I had requested a wheelchair accessible room and was truly amazed at how roomy it was. The bathroom had a roll in shower and was rather quite roomy. The room we stayed it was clean, fresh smelling, comfortable, the breakfast they had was great a good amount of choices. We didn't see alot of staff accept those at the front desk and they were so friendly and courteous. I would give the Baymont in Albany Mn 10 stars!

We come to Albany once to twice a year and this is the only hotel that we stay at. We stayed here on July 18th and checked out the next day. The rooms are very clean. The people that work there are very sweet and very caring. When we came in to check in, we had to wait for about 5 to 7 minutes. I was getting a little annoyed but when I was the front desk clerk she apologized and said that she was the only one here and she was also helping another guest. I was pleased with that statement, knowing that if we have a problem there would be help. The parking lot is clean. The location of this hotel is perfect.

I was here for the weekend my husband booked a room online we had no problem check in was at 3 said there was a possibility we could get in a little early but if not it would be 3 o'clock the girl at the front desk was very pleasant said if there was anything we needed to let her know my husband had a delivery to make there in Albany and I drove from Florida could be with him for the weekend their rooms were clean other than that it was a nice day the only thing I would have to say is I need to have a better filtration of their pool but the girl at the front desk did make sure to tell me that they were remodeling to take in consideration the rooms may not look the best in some but our room was fine what's that get it remodeled with I'm sure people will have a better review I also got to meet the owners and they were also very pleasant to me and my husband so for my visit and then the first visit it was a very pleasant one thank you to the staff and to the owners for a very nice day from mr. And mrs. Perone oh and PS the girl at the front desk also was very helpful on places to visit while we were there for the weekend.

The staff is definitely on drugs. We arrived to our room later at night and had to wait around at the desk for over 30 minutes when finally an employee came running in, high as a kite, to give us our keys.

Took forever for some one to answer the phone. Then when we got there didn't get the room I asked for they over booked I guess. Didn't give me a discount on the room. I would have never guess that. Rooms are nice but the staff has to do drugs. No one can be that dumb. But like I said rooms are nice but this is what happen to me.

An unplanned trip for a funeral with 2 dogs is difficult at best. A quick search on the Internet for a dog friendly hotel in Albany yielded this hotel with fairly good reviews. After 12 hours in the car we were beat tired. Arrived at the hotel and was placed in a handicapped accommodating room. I was appalled with the room. I felt as though we were placed in the worst room because of our pets. Wallpaper peeling in places in the bathroom, outdated and worn furniture, filthy carpet and an unsafe feeling. I would not recommend this place at all. For pet owners, I strongly suggest you look at a KOA campground and rent a cabin. You and your pets will be much happier! I paid a little over $100 for the room in Albany. I paid $163 a night for a cabin in a KOA campground. First class! I cannot recommend this hotel.

Clean room nice staff. Breakfast was limited.

Service fine. Lobby looked nice but the rooms were run down. Seemed to need maintenance.

The first morning we stayed the maid came knocking at our door I told her we only needed towels she gave them to me 3 hrs later we went out to shop game back our curtains were open all the way our air was off we left on n cut ain't closed the next day I went to dr. My daughter stayed had the door cracked 3 pit bull came in every day we had to go get new keys so we were supposed to stay one more night but again keys didn't work to many problems n we were stay nights I wrote a memo n left it with the girl on duty guess this isn't the way you run your busy by not responding to the issue very upset.

Housekeeping service was very well.

Clean and kind but Wi-Fi wasn't good.

The room was not as clean as I'd preferred. The air conditioner barely worked. I only had to stay for a night, so I left immediately in the morning. Had I of stayed longer, I may have made the personnel aware of these issues.

Room was clean and comfortable. We had king size bed with plenty of room. Pet friendly, not good truck parking. People are very friendly. Would recommend this Bayfront Inn to everyone.

Hello Everyone, I would like to start off this review by saying that the location was absolutely perfect! I had the pleasure of staying at this hotel for Albany State University Homecoming Weekend this past weekend. It was located just down the street from the Albany Mall, close by all the restaurants, and a perfect distance away from all the madness on campus. The suggestions I have for the hotel are to continue the maintenance on each room and remember to always give updated decor in the rooms. The room my wife and I stayed in was great, however the decor needed to be upgraded just a bit. The outside scenery was very pleasant and the front desk staff is more than willing to help in any way. I will be booking this place again for next year. See you all there, and thanks to Baymont Inn & Suites!

Exactly what we were looking for. Nice little hotel. Very peaceful.

I don't want to even give this place 1 star, but I had to give it something to write this. Absolutely the worst hotel I've ever had the unpleasant experience of staying in. It was my son's wedding and I'll guarantee they have the upper hand being the only sleeping accommodations in Albany, MN! Pool was closed (which was a good thing since it was very green), ice machine broken (apparently for a while since the liquor store employee next door knew immediately what you needed when you walked in the door), room locks not working, stained towels, stained sheets, cigarette burns everywhere in carpet (non smoking room), attempted to turn heat on and was pretty certain there was road kill in it by the smell and the fact that it turned on the smoke alarm. No wedding guest was able to check in prior to 3:00 (wedding was at 3:00) and was told that they should've read their confirmation that was emailed to them (not one person received an email confirmation, including myself). I was charged for an extra room and am still trying to get my money back. Etc,, etc. Etc. Do not stay here! sleep in your car.

Was not impressed. The room smelled like stale cigarette smoke. For being a smoke free room it really smelled bad. Had to open the windows up to let fresh air in and then could hear the cars on the freeway. Not impressed at all. The rooms are over prices for what you get. I will not stay here ever again.

Absolutely loved our experience at this hotel! The rooms are very updated and extremely clean, the beds are comfortable as well. Our room was facing the freeway and we could not hear the traffic whizzing by. The staff was nice and professional. Overall a wonderful experience and my lil guys parents/families are also considering booking for their kids and grandkids as they have an awesome time.

The room was pleasant. The facilities was clean and up to date. The Hotel staff was pleasant and accommodating. The Breakfast bar was substantial and above the usual expectation.

Rooms were booked as part of a wedding at $95/night. Below average continental breakfast and for the money being charged, full breakfast should be served. Sheets appear to be starched between guests vs washed, cheap low def tvs from the 80's and the ac when accidentally switched to heat, caused terrible smell and set the in room smoke detectors off.

I've never stayed at this hotel before, but must say I was very impressed with the service. I think the small town atmosphere allows the staff a certain level of comfortability with the guests. They were quick to help me with anything I needed, informed me of how to avoid problems with deactivating my room key, they recommended a great restaurant to me, and I could tell that they truly did want to do everything possible to ensure that I enjoyed my stay. I'm a business traveler so I was happy with the fact that they expecially prepared their breakfast area to accomadate my very early departure. Overall, I would recommend this hotel to anyone that wants a great room at a great price with superior service.
