My husband and I stayed at the Baert Baron Mansion for two nights and it was an amazing experience from start to finish. The mansion's hosts, Anna and Vic (what a team! ), set the bar high with their warm hospitality and personal touches. We checked in to find delicious homemade treats and beverages waiting in our beautiful, spacious room. And each night, guests were offered the enjoyment of a yummy dessert that would be placed in their rooms. Vic and Anna also hosted wonderful breakfasts at a beautifully set table and spent time with the guests sharing stories. The home is immaculately clean and spacious, well cared for and beautifully decorated. Would happily and highly recommend to visitors.

We really enjoyed the Baerto Baron Mansion. It is a beautifully restored home built in 1872. There are magnificant antiques throughout, and the surrounding yard is quiet and lovely. The breakfasts were delicious and beautifully presented. The Owners are friendly and funny, and very focused on pampering their guests.

It is one of the best places we have ever stayed. We stayed there for just a night during tulip time festival. Had wonderful time. The place is just like home and the did I mention food. I usually do not like carrot cake (ok you can judge me) but Anna (property owner) made me eat my husband's cake too. Hahahaha… Anna and her husband are amazing. The morning breakfast was delicious Anna cooked the best french toast I have ever had in my entire life. And the best part was there good bye gifts (HUGS with a side of french toast which they gave us because we like it so much) It was like going to favorite relative house. Will be going again and again.

I just visited the Baron Mansion this weekend with my Mom. We had an absolute wonderful time. The owners, Anna and Vic, are the best hosts. We immediately felt at home and like family. The mansion is spotless clean. Anna and Vic make sure your stay feels like home. They serve a delicious breakfast and sit down with you like you are old friends. I would recommend this B and B 100%. I will definitely go back!

We were warmly greeted by Vic and Anna. Their charm and hospitality are infectious. This home built in the 1870s has been restored by the couple to its original Victorian charm. Our room was large and spacious including two leather recliner‘s for a nice sitting area. Subway tile shower was a walk-in – very nice. They’re both excellent cooks and we enjoyed our brunches with them each morning. Downtown Zealand is a five minute walk away and we ate at two excellent restaurants-tripleroot and public. Downtown Holland is 10 minutes away and has a fantastic shopping district.

I made a two night reservation in the summer but my husband's job was such that he had to be out for business. There was no refund but a 60 day time to use it later. We called 6 days past the 60 days and were denied the use of it because of expiration. How could I ever recommend such a place or ever consider going here again. Very disappointing!

What an amazing place this was! Vic and Anna were fantastic, welcoming and truly made us feel at home from the moment we walked though the door. The house was beautiful and rooms were comfy, cozy. The food… Oh the food! Both Vic and Anna can cook up a storm! My only issue with Baert Baron Mansion was we had to leave at the end of out time! Can we just move in with you guys?!? We will most certainly be back!

Top notch Bed and Breakfast in one of the most beautifully decorated turn of the century homes we could have ever imagined. Anna and Vic are two of the most lovely and kind people we've ever met; from strangers to friends in zero seconds flat. Breakfast and desserts are exceptional and served with two ingredients often left out today: love and care. Anna's personal mission to help Women at Risk, fighting against human trafficking really touched us. A Christian home with respect, kindness and a deep nostalgia for days long passed transports you back to that time with great delight and true tranquility.

A fantastic, beautifully restored​, to the tiniest detail, home. We were blown away by the home, yard, decor, and the breakfast table setting is a work of art. Vic and Anna are warm and gracious, attending to your every request, question and needs. Ample towels in our spacious bath, with claw bathtub, plus a huge modern shower. Dessert in the evening was a surprise and delicious! You will not be disappointed.

We were greeted with a welcoming hug, this house is beautiful, our room furnished perfectly, a lot of attention to all the details. We went for a walk had dinner a few blocks away, came back to have dessert in our room. It was a peaceful night, morning breakfast was delicious. Vic and Anna are so sweet and very hard workers, they truly take care of all guests. We highly recommend staying with them.

What a beautiful experience. Peace, quiet, and serenity are what you will find here. Not to mention two of the most gracious owners. Thanks Anna and Vic for another wonderful weekend. Looking forward to next year already. The food was delicious, the room was pristine, and the mansion was a quiet retreat into the past. I always leave with a renewed spirit. May have to start making the trip an semi-annual event.

This was our first time visiting a Bed & Breakfast, it was an incredible experience. Anna greeted us with warm hugs as soon as we walked in the door, gave us a tour so we would feel at home and know where everything was. She then showed us to our incredible room! It's decorated with beautiful Victorian antique furniture and decorations. The room had a mini fridge that was stocked with bottled waters and assorted sodas, also a tray of handmade goodies (by the way, Anna is an INCREDIBLE cook! ) and treats. She served delectable deserts in the evenings around 9:00 PM, we sat on the covered porch while we enjoyed our deserts and visited with Anna & Vic. Breakfast was served at 9:00 AM and was so amazing and filling. Both Anna and Victor were such gracious hosts and it was incredibly enjoyable to sit and chat with them. When we return to visit the area we will definitely stay with them again!

WOW! If you have an OPPORTUNITY to stay at the Baert Baron Mansion you SHOULD! From the moment we walked through the doors we were treated like FAMILY! What an AMAZIN home, we were so fortunate to stay at this meticulously maintained, beautiful victorian mansion! Pride of ownership just glows from ANY part of this STUNNING home. Coming down for breakfasts' and seated & treated like princes' & princess'! The settings were beautiful & impeccable! What we enjoyed the most was the sincere humbleness & gracious owners (ok and the incredible homemade SNACKS every nite at 9:00! ) Vic & Ana were nothing but amazing… from the hysterical stories, to the bear hug HUGS! If you want to be treated like a prince or princess this is the place to STAY! I can assure you, Vic & Ana will not disappoint! :) They even sent us on our way, with a "snack" (homemade brownies) for the plane ride home! This would be 10+ STARS from us! We stayed here for four days last weekend. Everything there was perfect. I cannot think of enough good things to say about our experience there. We will definitely stay there again when we return to the area Our hosts, Anna and Vic were some of the nicest people I have ever met. The place was impeccably clean. There were fresh flowers everywhere, even in the bathroom. The food was delicious, the décor was stunning, and the company was great. They even provided desert every evening, and fresh cookies and cold drinks in every room.

Our stay at the Baert Baron Mansion Bed & Breakfast was absolutely heavenly. We were guests there from July 28th through August 1st, 2014. This meticulously restored 140 year old mansion produced a beautiful nostalgic atmosphere which transported us back to another era. From the antique furnishings in the bedroom, lobby, parlor and dining room to the classic look of the updated bathroom, this warm and wonderful inn had all of the elegance and charm of an old world mansion. Our hosts, Anna and Vic, were two of the finest and most delightful people we've ever had the privilege of meeting. They were so very warm and caring and catered to our every need. Anna took great care to serve a delicious, hot breakfast every morning in the elegantly decorated dining room. Her attention to detail from the beautiful presentation to the deliciousness of our meals was always superb. Anna also served carefully prepared sensational desserts each evening in the parlor featuring culinary delights such as bread pudding, strawberry shortcake and coconut cream pie. Vic made certain that our every need was met, keeping us in supply of freshly made coffee or other beverages, providing us with lawn chairs and blankets for an evening sunset watch over Lake Michigan and directing us to the best restaurants in the area. The great care and pride that both of them take in making their guests comfortable and happy is truly remarkable.

Our family celebrated my niece's birthday by dining at the Baert Baron Mansion. Wonderful.
