This is tour guide company, but they treated us like family. Sometimes it’s not about the money, it’s about the reward. They made us feel important.

It is sad because I think the ranch used to be a very nice place for events but it isn’t any longer. The current staff are terrible! Back in January my daughter and I booked the ranch sight unseen for an April wedding, having faith that having her wedding here would be wonderful. It was NOT wonderful, it was a nightmare! They had plenty of time to be ready for us but they weren’t! Despite being told on many occasions that we would have plenty of time to set up and that we co…uld set up the night before we were unable to set up until the last minute. I completely missed out on helping my daughter get ready, helping her into her dress, taking pictures and making memories — I missed it all because we couldn’t set up until a few hours before the ceremony. Not only did we have to scramble to get things set up we also ended up having to clean the place first! We were the first wedding of the new year and they had over 4 months notice and yet they still were not ready! We had to clean the entire place as well as set up late! All of my new son in law’s family decided to stay on the ranch. None of their rooms were ready until late evening the night before the wedding, the rooms were disgusting and dirty and they hadn’t even been used in several days if not weeks! They all woke up the day of the wedding to no hot water and even though the website says breakfast available there was no breakfast and the restaurant was closed and they were told it was all seasonal.

Nice little cabins to stay at about ten minutes from Cody Wyoming, only complaint was the extra $12 for breakfast!

Excellent food, great location and fantastic chef and staff! We both had the red snapper with crawdads and crab in a wonderful cream sauce and beautiful crisp asparagus! It was too die for delicious! Love the ambiance and decor as well. Think if them for your next "Date night" or any occasion, you won't be disappointed! Wonderful Cajun cuisine is on the menu as well as a tasty rib eye.

The most unorganized misleading mess in the west. That's right folks if you want the run around game just pull in here unhook your trailer where they show you to park it and head to town. They will unplug your trailer for you so it gets real nice and hot for your house dog inside. So they can plug some one else up to your hook up. Even tho that's where their "employee" had shown us where to park. That was day 1. Day 2 we were fixing to go ride our horses which we had brought with us not their horses. (We asked before booking a spot days prior if we could ride directly outta camp. They said yes) they come tell us we couldn't ride that day because they had something else going on. So after some talking we had a compromise we rode some on the left of their place and some BLM land. Morning 2 day 3 at monster lake me and the boys went out for a ride and here they come asking us to move our trailer. Because they had shown us to park in the wrong spot. So I went back to camp hooked up to my trailer and left. (Went to a campground in the national forest, go there it's cheaper and way more senic) The entire place is an unorganized and misleading business if you will call it such. I would not recommend a stay here to even my X mother in law.

We needed a one night stay for our family and found this gem! We stayed in the Rabbit Hutch which was perfect for our family of four. We were very disappointed that we only had a very limited time here. My husband and I are eager to return and explore all the ranch has to offer! We also heard from some locals in town that the restaurant here is the finest in the area!

Great place to stay. 8 miles from Cody. Staff made us feaf like family.

We loved Monster Lake Ranch! Our cabin was clean and very comfortable. Dinner was delicious! Had a great time riding the ranch with Ben. Susan is a gracious and wonderful host. Becky is the best! Bartender, Cowgirl, Waitress and Entertainer! She taught us how to rope and we enjoyed the rodeo with her. We recommend this Ranch! Thank you! We will be back.

Very comfortable atmosphere with a unique setting. I had the Surf and Turf. The steak and asparagus were excellent but the crab meat was just so-so. On the expensive side but that's to be expected based on the location. I will go here again, but maybe not with the kids next time!

They want way out of the way to accommodate our family. When we booked my dad was undergoing chemo and radiation but was able to walk. When we got there my dad was unable to make it upstairs so they switched out room at no charge. It was my dad's dying wish to see Wyoming and yellowstone. We went July of 2017 and he passed on October 29 2017. Thank you for the best time and driving my husband to town to purchase new brakes. Before passing my dad kept saying "I'm leaving to go to wyoming".

Spent 2 days here in September and sadly the weather wreaked havoc with the fishing however the ranch and everybody there were awesome. Dewitt the chef is incredible and cooks up some fantastic food and is a pleasure to sit and talk with. Mike is a great guide and did his best to put us on fish that refused to cooperate (Again thanks to bad weather). Everyone at the ranch was as friendly as could be and worked hard to help us have an awesome experience. The accomodations were very comfortable. I would recommend this ranch to anyone looking for a great fishing getaway. Hope to return again soon and have better weather and hook into some monsters that live in the lake.

Why would you stay in Cody, when you can rent a duplex just 10 minutes away with a private stocked trout lake? The staff was fantastic! The food from the Chef was great! My fishing guide was very knowledgeable and did everything he could do to help a brand new fly fisherman land a "Monster" trout. I literally got up and watched "The deer and the antelope play" you won't get that in cody! To be clear this is a working ranch and you are on a gravel road, but the entire staff w…as friendly, and helpful in every way possible. We all loved it, and will be back again. Maybe we will stay in the cowboy camp next time Randall.

We went for a Father's Day dinner and had amazing jumbalaya and pulled pork. The grounds are pretty and the lake is nice. It feels like you're in the middle of the mountains!

Spent ten days at the ranch with a couple of friends fishing and shooting. If you want to get away from it all and like the outdoors and a rustic way of life this is the place to stay.

We stayed here July 2015 for one night. Just passing through. Loved the place and will be back when we have more time.

Very peaceful and relaxing place. Loved the views and horseback riding. Getting to know Sky was enjoyable she is really a special person.

This place is very cool. The staff members are excellent as well!

Fortunately, I had the entire lake to myself. Beautiful weather and I caught several fish. When it was time for lunch the lakeside cabin was an easy walk from the lake. The cabin was great since I was able to keep my lunch and drink in a refrigerator inside and it has a nice restroom. Enjoyed my lunch sitting outside on the covered deck with a view of the lake & beautiful ranch. I am planning another trip there again this year.
