Some of the highlights about the sage and sand are friendly, hard working people, clean rooms, they are cheap but great! natural hot springs right around the corner! they have kitchens for you too cook in along, with stores that are close by and 24hr gas station right across the street!

Great service! The Wi-Fi was extremely weak which was a downside for me. The rooms were large but not in the greatest aesthetic shape. But the sheets and the rooms were clean and we were just a few blocks from the Hobo springs.

Rooms are large. Quality is as expected for the price. Great location near the Kim & Go convenience store, Conoco gas station, and 2 mins from the hot spring.

The staff is very very attentive and sweet. We had only one small issue that was handled immediately. They work extremely hard to make sure you are satisfied and taken care of in the best possible way. I would recommend this place to anyone. My husband has dietary needs that meant we needed a stove included in our accommodations, but most places with a kitchen were beyond our price range. The Sage and Sand was the answer! I wasn't sure what we were getting into when we pulled into this piece of Americana whose style is a throw-back to the 50s when Route 66 motels were all the rage. It turns out we were exactly where we needed to be. The rooms were very clean, the beds comfortable, and there was a prevailing peaceful atmosphere that meant good sleep and happy hearts. Catherine, the owner, was delightful and such an encouragement to us. We feel blessed to have stayed at the Sage and Sand!

Amazing, welcoming managers who absolutely made my friend's and my stay feel like home. I loved this hotel, it is quaint and old-fashioned, with a very home like feeling. Extremely clean, large spacious rooms, very comfortable and quiet. The managers have put a lot of nice painting and upkeep to make this hotel very nice. All my hotel stays in this area will be with the Sage and Sand.

The staff does a great job. The rooms are clean, comfortable, and VERY spacious. The price is more than fair for how much work is being put into updating, and renovating this motel. My family and friends will choose this motel every time we are visiting the free hot springs that are walking distance from this motel. Thank you Sage and Sand for making us feel at home every time.
