I can still taste the smoked St Louis rack of ribs an hour after eating it! Superb menu!

We came in 10 minutes before kitchen stopped serving full menu very tired and hungry, and they still cooked it, served it, and checked back like they had a full, bustling restaurant which required full attention! We were very impressed with every aspect of service from seating to ticket. Fantastic and kind service. Thank you!

The FOOD! fat baby beef brisket po’boy… and the Thai spicy orange fried shrimp po’boy… delicious! And huge! … we couldn’t finish! Had to get a take home box. Then the beer… so many choices! Moose drool for me, bud light on draft for Danny. Friendly staff! Our bartender talked to us about local fishing spots too … BONUS! We will be back!

Very interesting place I do believe the regular patrons have a good time on band night. If I lived around there I would definitely try it out.

High priced for no amenities. No phone in room, no fridge or microwave. Light fixture fell almost hitting my kiddo. Lied about Wi-Fi. Said whole town was out but their locked connections had full signal. Never stay there. Gave no discount even tho they advertise free Wi-Fi. Pretty much said "sorry bout your luck". Bad customer service.

Shut down and destroy the lodge, rebuild a nice clean hotel in its place, with an elevator!

Extremely racist place. Some drunk guy approached us wanting to punch one of us and manager did not do anything about it.

First time here and they were all racist rednecks! they made us feel all uncomfortable and not wanted. Not a welcoming place.

Finally tried some of the BBQ and it was excellent! I had the pulled pork, wife had the brisket… not only was the BBQ spectacular but the portions were amazing!

Would not book a room here again. When we arrived we stood in the tiny little office, a room to fit two people, for 15 minutes. A guys finally walked across the parking lot from the restaurant across from the lodge to check us into our room. The rooms had walls that were paper thin… the conversations of people outside or in the room next you were so crisp & clear that you could have joined in on them. The restaurant across the parking lot is a local hang out & a lot of people outside talking & laughing into the wee hours of the night made for 3 nights of no sleep… trust me, we paid way too much money for no sleep! Will not book with them again.

Great food and a great atmosphere. Come hungry and with a dedicated driver or the alcoholic slushies might convince you to get a room. Service can be slow at times but the food and decor make up for it. They have a small arcade of you bring the kids and have live music on some nights. Well worth the drive.

The food, drinks, and service were amazing! Drove 2 hours for it. Definitely worth the trip.

I have mixed feelings about the Bull Moose Lodge. It's location is perfect: Alpine is a nice little town, and it's closeness to Yellowstone and Teton is especially great; Hwy 89 is a bit busy, but the Lodge somehow seems to disconnects itself from all that traffic and noise. The log buildings are really nice, our room was clean, the bathroom was in especially great shape, and the beds were big and comfortable. The proximity of their Saloon and it's good service and food was a good addition to the whole picture. On the other hand, there are some bit flaws with the Lodge: The walls are thin, and if you are in the first floor you will hear people walking outside and upstairs pretty much all through the night. The rooms lack of fridges, that is a bit issue. The Wi-Fi is a bit unreliable: it went of a few times during my stay. And lastly, the Lodge is a bit overpriced compared to other places in the region — — almost same price rage as places in the Jackson Hole area, which is a bit disappointing.

Our waitress, Taylor was awesome. The food was very good. Highly recommend The Bull Moose!

I live in Idao Falls. Dropped in because I was starving while I was running around palisades. Best burger I've had in Idaho of not ever! cooked perfectly medium rare. Server was friendly and we never ran out of drink. Reasonably priced. Loved the atmosphere amd background music! My kind of place! Wish we had something like this in Idaho falls! I plan on making the drive from now on on a regular basis just for dinner and entertainment.

Amazing food, friendly staff, fun atmosphere. Most of the menu is made in house and is one of the most delicious meals I've had throughout Wyoming. I recommend the ribeye steak sandwich with the fries.

Great food! Unfortunately the rooms are poor. The beds are rock solid, you can hear through the walls, and it lacked some basic amenities like a mini fridge. For the price, you can get superb lodging in Jackson.

Clean and large Rooms. Price okay. The Office is in the Bar/Diner right at the Entrance. Wlan is free and if you're Hungry, you can have a bite to eat in the Bar right away. Otherwise, there is enough Choice. Gas Station is also Nearby. Quasi everything there.

Room in Wooden Look, very cozy. Pair of Hair on the Pillow, but otherwise everything clean. Check In a bit adventurous but funny … Recommended. Prices bit high, but is close to the parks (135 Dollars). Food in the Village also goes, the Pizzeria is highly recommended.

We rolled in on motorcycles just as rain started. A group of women had snagged all the chairs, and a disabled member of our party could not sit on the awesome tree trunk stools. The sever ran downstairs and got us chairs so we could all sit at the same table.
We grabbed a burger and some brews. The burgers were incredible, grilled just as we asked, not the well-done over cooked stuff from a fast food place.
The server was friendly and helpful and got our food right to us, h…ot out of the kitchen. They have a full bar, liquor store, pool tables, arcade games, great food and friendly staff. This will be a regular stop when we are in Alpine!

Great service here. We just came in for a beer after a motorcycle ride but we ended up having nachos and wings. Both were really good, especially the nachos. All the beers we tried were great as well. We also loved the old fire truck out front.

Betsy is great, and I love the small town. It's a place to enjoy. Especially when the work week S scheduled.

Passed through here and couldn’t help but stop! It’s right at the state line between Wyoming & Idaho. This place is so cozy, cool and country. Huge, real wood burning fireplace, large billiards, beautiful bar, fun and friendly locals, and a liquor store. There’s also lodge and cabin rentals.

Dinner is amazing there! Dinner service is fantastic, such nice fun people. We stayed there to drink and our waitress was amazing! Kept up on our drinks, made sure we were good and also joined with me dancing! It's an amazing place! Definitely going there more often!

I went into the moose for a to go order and ordered what I wanted which had an order of cheese sticks on it. The bartender took my order and I left while it was being prepared. I picked it up expecting it to be fine but they gave me onions rings instead of cheese sticks. Maybe I'm overreacting but when I order something I expect it to be what I ordered.

Awful service. We went to the bar/dining area to get food and drinks, and sat at a table for 40 minutes without being acknowledged. After waiting about 30 minutes we walked up to the bar to get water, and tried telling the staff that we'd been sitting there for 30 minutes, and they didn't listen or care. I understand a busy night, but at least acknowledge us and let us know you'll be back to help us. Multiple employees saw us, and nothing. I have never had such horrible service. I will not recommend this place to anyone, and we will not be coming back.

This place is really the only thing open after 6 on a Friday or Saturday night. Great atmosphere, good people. Karaoke can be fun if you enjoy that sort of thing. Alpine is a nice little town, and this bar and grill is no exception to it's small town charm.

The staff was friendly, the food was good and the room was spacious. However, the room was dirty. There was hair in the sheets and on the pillows, and also the tub was filthy.

Spent one night here before snowmobiling the next day near Jackson. Clean place! No real complaints besides the size of the room, we had a double room, kinda tight but very homey with the wood trims! Will be back.

Realy great place room was wall to wall pine beautiful, however, the beds are not updated they are uncomfortable there were long dark hairs in the bed and the hot tub was dirty with hairs and dirt in it as well… Good old town spot for locales bar and dinning with a western feel. Recomondations pillow top cover for the beds new pillows, comforters and someone to double check the cleanlyness of the rooms.

Great selection of wine and beer. You could drive all the way to Jackson, but why? The Bill Moose is a perfect place to get a huge choice of cocktail fixings, beer both domestic and imported, not to mention a wonderful selection of wine.

It's a nice place with a friendly atmosphere. Good food, rooms are reasonably priced and the liquor store is top notch.

Great place, excellent food. The motel rooms are clean with a nice smell. Sometimes there is live entertainment on stage on weekends. If you are planning a trip through the area it's best to call for reservations.

Basic rooms. Clean and well taken care of. Wait staff at bar and restaurant are very friendly. Manager of facility went out of his way to make sure we were taken care of.

This was an ok place to stay for one night. Price I was quoted on the phone when I booked it differed slightly from what they actually charged when we checked in. They told me on the phone the price included the dog, but at check in we were told they had to add on the additional cost for the dog. Room was fairly clean except the bed sheets had what looked like animal hair stuck to them right when we pulled the bedspread back. Town was cute, just had a hard time finding a place to eat where we could just grab something to take back to the room.

We stopped by. Got iced cold beverages from a very nice waitress. Ordered food… Potato skins were great. Chicken wings were good (2nd batch) 1st was still ice cold inside. Waitress fix right away. Overall very nice. I would recommend Tv's in the pool table gaming area. Also amazing pile of wood! We couldn't watch the game and play pool.

Went for Sunday lunch. Food was overpriced and not good at all. I felt bad for our server because she was working the floor alone while the bartender (an obese blond woman who must have been a manager of some kind), just stood behind the bar and didn't help her at all. At one point, a table of ten or so all ordered bloody Mary's and I watched as the lazy bartender made them — one by one — it must have taken 20 minutes. I was in the service industry for years so this was painful to watch. It took 45 minutes to get our food and it was the worst meal I have had in a long time.

Service was good and a beautiful location. Food was bar food but it was good. I will come back on my next trip through.

The Bull Moose Saloon was a fun bar, they have a dance floor, full bar, and live music. The food is okay, it a bit above average bar food. Many of the items are homemade, which is a nice touch. We didn't stay at the lodge, so have no idea what that is like.

The food here was very good, however the service was very slow. It's one of the best sports type bar in the area, several large screen tv's. There is also a well stocked liquor store.

Terrible food, $16 + dollar par baked burger (ridiculous), decent front of the house service otherwise! We were there a year before and a few times over priory's years but something has changed in quality of basic food prep and cooking. We all ordered mid R and food came quick but all well overdone/destroyed, super disappointed…

Had dinner here. The menu was small. Bar food, maybe 7 options. They could very easily have two menu options a bar menu… and a different menu for their rather large dinning area. The staff was kind but slow.

We were accommodated in the lodge. Too little was offered for the price paid. No fridge, bottom average beds, hot water for 2 people with quick showers, no breakfast.

Awesome ambiance and great service. Chicken tenders were fantastic and the local snake river brew amazing as well. Service a little slow.

Decent service, nice room, and right in the middle of town. The bed wasn't the greatest in the world, but sufficient. It was mostly quiet although they do have the saloon nearby that got a little rowdy. The rooms are in an unnattched building from the saloon and restaurants, which was a bonus.

The room was really nice, the price was awesome. The night owls kept us awake until 3am and the morning people had us awake at 7:30am even though we were on the top floor. The bar was bustling and it was karaoke night which was fun. Drinks were nice and stiff. Upbeat, fun crowd. Service at the restaurant was HORRIBLE and I had to go ask for water and menus. I suppose we should have left then. We waited over an hour and a half for food to arrive. They did offer a free appetizer. When the food arrived it was bland. I suggest skipping the restaurant, it wasn't worth the $75 before tip that we paid.

The motel stay was every nice, would suggest a mirror on a swivel by the bathroom sink, for us people that have a hard time seeing to put on our makeup. Eat dinner next door at the Saloon, service was great, gravies home made, potatoes frys hand cut, and very… good, burgers paddies hand made. Live music, new and old country western music. Hubby and son shot pole, very nice enjoyable evening.

The room=cute, comfy, and great for what we were looking for. However, we made a two night reservation 4 months ago as we committed to a weekend river trip, and upon arrival they had given our second night away, the person working didn't know how to fix the cc machine paper, and when a more experienced worker did arrive to run our card, he called his manager to see what to do to fix the lack of room issue. He was told to call around and find a place for us. No one EVER contacted us or fixed this problem. Luckily WE found a place but we were not impressed. Office hours suck. When we had to check out after our first night, no one was in the office to tell us if their night audit person did find an opening. Whe there was a worker from the night before say "don't worry about it I'm sure they'll find something". We also had to pay full price for our first/only/last night when I think we should have at least received a discount seeing that they messed up our reservation — we had a confirmation email. Very disappointed in the locations customer service.

No ice machine at Motel, you could get some ice at the Saloon. No sink in toilet/shower, no fridge, no phone and no pool. Bed was good things were clean. Check in was slow, one person covering the "desk" in a room best described as a closet. Phone calls of potential customers are more important to management than people waiting to pay to stay. Reminded of being a customer in an auto parts store. Employees did the best they could with the tools they were given however, at $115.00 a night I believe I could do better for less after visiting the area. Would not recommend Motel. Saloon was great, Erin our server was awesome, nachos were good, real cheese not that crap in a jar, done well no soggers in the chips. I'd visit the saloon again.

Derek the bar tender was super sociable very thoughtful, Erin and Amber are great waitresses, spectacular food! My compliments to the chef… Jules the owner is a sweetheart I'd work for her anytime.

Very nice place to stay on the way to (or leaving) yellowstone! The office is at the Bullmoose saloon next to the motel. You can eat in the Saloon where the food is excellent and there is live music in the evening. A great place where you can meet locals people and musicians and enjoy a great dinner for reasonable amount and in a nice atmosphere! In addition, the rooms are beautiful and clean, all walls are in wood, which gives a very nice atmosphere. Only problem is that you'd better reserve a day in advance. We reserved online two hours before arrival and they didn't notice the reservation so that the hotel was fully booked and we had no rooms. By chance, they could finally find an empty room for us. But we had a great evening and a sweet night there, and for a third of the price of the hotels of the region. We also recommend to have breakfest in a little place in front of the motel, for there are no breakfest for the price. We had but a beautiful breakfest in the "coffee cabin" closeby.

The food was okay. The service made up for the food. Our server, Erin, was fabulous!

Took two hours for us to get our food and we were starving. The bread was hard as a rock on my cheese burger. The waitress was also rude about us having to wait, she acted like it was not that big of a deal. Looks like it was once a nice place, but has started to fall apart. The back emergency door exit was locked with a padlock, you could not get out even if there was an emergency. Do not order your food if you want it within two hours and besides that it was not even that good. Worst place I have ever been. Your better off eating dinner at one of the local gas stations.

I arrived with 17 people and so expected a little longer wait but I was surprised still. A table of 8-10 arrived about 15 minutes after us. Our server sat them before getting to our drink order. Then took and filled the other drink order before ours. Total time 30 minutes. Then finally took our food order. 30 minutes later we asked about our appetizers and were told they were coming. They finally arrived 65 minutes after sitting down. By this time the other table all had food sitting in front of them. 90 minutes after sitting down the other table had eaten, paid, and left when the first third of our food orders arrived. 10 minutes later another third and 15 minutes after that the last third arrived. My food arrived almost 2 hours after sitting down. Never did we get a reason even after talking to what appeared to be a manager. Oh and they don't do seperate checks so be ready to try to figure that out. And after all that they added the mandatory gratuity. If that was me I would be embarrassed. Never go here.

Stopped by on the way out of town to grab a "quick" bite before a four hour drive back home. Got seated around 6:30pm. Mind you there are no other people in the restaurant besides one couple and 4 people at the bar. Needless to say people that sat down after us got their food about an hour and a half before us. Most of our party finally receiving their food around 8:30 after a two hour wait. If you have time to kill and no where to go and your small intestine is not eating your large intestine by the time you get your food then I would recommend this place. Side note… They add 18% gratuity to a check six or larger so you definitely pay for that crappy service and no "split checks"
