Stonehearth was cozy, clean, and comfortable. Ron and Cathy were wonderful hosts during our sunset cruise!

What a great place to stay! We come here every summer for 4 days and could not be happier. Ron and Cathy are amazing hosts and always make us feel at home. One of my favorite things is waking up to the smell of Cathy’s wonderful breakfast cooking downstairs. We love this place.

Definitely staying here again! Me and my son had a blast and loved how homey and inviting it was, I felt as though I was being spoiled. There's a park and great restraunts — all in walking distance. I most certainly recommend a relaxing stay at the White Swan Inn.

We, my husband and I, stayed at one of the White Swan Inn's cottages up in Montegue for the weekend. We've worked at B&B's and know the inns and outs of the business quite well. Cathy is a phenomenal host. She was attentive and gracious during our booking and gave us plenty of ideas to fill our weekend. We haven't vacationed in years and this was the perfect get away. It was a gorgeous weekend and EVERYTHING was within walking distance from our Bungalow. The White Swan Inn in Whitehall is gorgeous, and well decorated; the wood work on the inside is simply stunning. Cathy brought us over to the bungalow Friday afternoon and got us settled in. We stayed two nights in this duplex home — our side had 2 bedrooms, 1 full bath, and a full living room/kitchen/dining room. It also had a cute 4-season porch. It was so quaintly decorated and cute. It's dog-friendly and we brought our two dogs. We will 100% be staying again. It was so relaxing and peaceful. We hope to come back in the spring again. Thank you Cathy for everything!

Wonderful stay during a snow storm! We were the only guess and got the (usual) royal treatment. Amazing food and our room was perfect… all the way down to the king bed and clawfoot tub.

Welcoming atmosphere, beautiful home. Friendly and informative hosts, including 2 friendly cats. Delicious brownies for evening snack and potato-egg casserole and blueberry coffee cake for breakfast. Thank you so much for letting us stay there for Veterans Day.

This is not a two star — very well established bed and breakfast, owners give recommendations of how to spend your time and breakfast was excellent. Would recommend!

We had a fabulous stay at the White Swan Inn. Cathy was a great host. She puts great touches to the Inn to make the experience good. I love the brownies in the hallway! The house is very clean and beautiful. Would definitely come back and recommend to others.

My husband and I were gifted a few nights here for a wedding present, and it was wonderful! Ron and Cathy were so helpful about where to go in the area and what to eat given that it was "off' season. They were very personable and very welcoming and she is an AMAZING cook! Cathy went out of her way to make it special for us. My husband and I will be back, for sure.

Cathy and Ron are awesome hosts! We are cat people and they had the cutest little cat that I loved to play with. We stayed for two nights and had a wonderful time!

White Swan Inn Bed and Breakfast is Pure Michigan at its best! Comfortable rooms, friendly — engaging on-site staff makes you feel more like extended family members than guests. Breakfast was over-the-top great and thankfully, the paved bicycle path is a short distance from the Inn.

My sister and I have stayed at the White Swan Inn Bed and Breakfast Cottage for two summers for our sister's getaway vacation. We are going again this year. We really love the cottage and the area. There is a lot of cute, quaint shops, the beach, the bike path and of course Lake Michigan. Plenty to see and do. The Cottage is very clean and in a quite neighborhood. Cathy, the innkeeper, is always super sweet and helpful. She helps make our stay more pleasant. We love it and think you will too!

Excellent attention to detail. Cathy was an excellent guide of off the beaten path restaurants. We had a great stay on our honeymoon.

The White Swan Inn is a retreat, very clean but not fussy. We enjoyed our stay and especially the thoughtful hospitality of our host and hostess. Cathy has a radar and just knows what how to make life pleasant.

We have stayed at the White Swan several times over the years and have thoroughly enjoyed each stay. The service is excellent and the meals are topnotch! It's also a very handy location to lots of attractions in the area. UPDATE: We just spent the weekend at the White Swan and totally enjoyed our stay. We even took advantage of the sunset cruise (minus the sunset unfortunately) and loved it! Cathy is an able and knowledgeable guide and Ron a master sailor! Our room was comfortable and we enjoyed the little touches that make staying in a B&B such a wonderful experience!

My wife and I, along with my wife's best friend and her husband, stayed at this lovely, very accommodating B & B. Each of us enjoys history and architecture, so the polished staircase, the history of the home, and its well-appointed rooms were so much fun to enjoy. The breakfast in the dining room was delicious and the owners interesting conversationalists. Each nook and cranny took us to a different time period. We certainly prefer to stay at a B&B as opposed to a cookie cutter motel/hotel. The extra attention to every detail to make our stay memorable, as well as the location and grounds served to make our time perfect. Highly recommended!
