Stayed for two nights in a lake view suite. The room was clean and spacious. The view was great. The lobby/breakfast area were clean and welcoming. Staff were friendly and professional. Our only complaints were that the sofa sleeper was broken and the beds were a little uncomfortable, but after a long day exploring Saint Ignace and Mackinaw City this was a convenient and restful place to stay.

Great place to stay, clean room with an amazing view of the bridge and such nice kind people at the front desk! This hotel was my saving grace that definitely changed my horrible vacation into and AMAZING vacation! We did not stay a second night at this hotel ONLY because the guy at the front desk told us of a local area that my son could fish. When we checked that place out we came into contact with people that told us of other places to fish and we eventually found ourselves further away than we expected in a beautiful tiny town that we would have NEVER found had it not been for the kindness of the people at the Super 8! My vacation that started off horrible ended up being one of the best vacations ever due to the kindness of the people and the Super 8 in st Ignace! I highly recommend this hotel, I will stay there again if I am ever in the area again.

Do not stay here if you need to work from a laptop. The Wi-Fi is useless, I couldn't use my laptop most of the time I was there for work. The staff is friendly but not helpful when confronted about it. Also, the rooms smell like mildew and the towels feel crusty. The pool and hot tub area is very nice, but there was so much chlorine that I couldn't stand to be in there more than 10 minutes before my eyes were burning. Mediocre breakfast available.

This Hotel has the absolutely best balcony views of the Mackinaw Bridge I have ever seen. Priced reasonably. The breakfast is very continental and could be a little better. The rooms and facilities are clean and plenty large enough. If the breakfast would have some eggs and sausage I would have given ita 5.

Decent rooms at decent prices. Beds not that comfortable, but fairly standard at a room for this rate ($84). Reasonable overall.

Stayed here a few years ago, came back for the beautiful view of the bridge, pool, hot tub good. Enjoy staying here until today when unannounced and out of our room doing activities and sight seeing in town all day. Did I mention the " do not disturb " sign that was placed on our door. We came back to find our room was entered in by the manager, who the front desk lady who checked us in the day before explained it away by saying he was looking for a hotel luggage cart. Our two bikes, that we left in our room, were gone. The Luggage cart we were using was gone and the do not disturb sign was gone from the door. Hotel clerk talked herself around the incident trying to say that she told us that bikes were not allowed in our room. That she told us not to keep luggage carts. Nothing was communicated to us at check in, but she did offer the managers garage when hearing that we had bikes. We declined her offer because we brought locks. The problem I have is someone entering our room and removing our belongings without us being there to say they could, or at least waiting for us to return and asking us to remove them ourselves from the room. Felt it was a total invasion of our space and the way it was handled was upsetting and dismissive. More communication needed from the front desk at check in about the does and don'ts of the hotel. Unless there is an immediate emergency, staff should not help themselves to hotel guests belongings.

We took a last-minute trip to watch the meteor shower on Saturday night. We booked at the last minute I am so happy they had a balcony rooms available, first thing we noticed was the amazing view. Absolutely gorgeous. Very clean very friendly staff. We were able to take a sleeping bag and lay outside and watch the meteor shower for a few hours which again no comparison to any of my recent Hotel experiences. We will definitely be coming back very soon. I would recommend the hotels with you anybody.

Check in was a very pleasant experience. Very pleasant and friendly desk clerk. STUNNING view of the Mackinaw Bridge (Room 205). For being on a highway, it was very very quiet-the room is on the back side of the hotel. Mind you this is mid March, so that area is pretty quiet anyway. Beds were very comfortable, room was very clean. Easy access to the internet. Breakfast was simple-cereal, donuts, toaster waffles, oatmeal, yogurt. Nothing hot, which would be nice. I am looking forward to another visit during the summer, but that view. It just cannot be any more beautiful. Thank you for a very pleasant experience!

Our room had 3 queen beds. Great for a family of 5 or 6. No one has to sleep on a rollaway bed. Staff extremely nice. Great place to stay to be in the middle of some awesome sight seeing.

We stayed here while in town for a local hockey tournament. The hotel fit our teams needs perfectly. The pool and hot tub were great and the rooms were clean and nice with an awesome view of the Mackinaw bridge. We would definitely stay here again in the future!

Didn't stay, just visited a relative who works here but got a tour. Looks like a nice hotel. Clean, stopped and saw cleaning person doing a thorough job. Rooms are nicem.

Perfect place to spend the night unexpectedly due to Mackinac Bridge being closed last night. Great price, staff, room & breakfast. We would stay here again at anytime.

Our room was nice, did not smell and was clean. People at the front desk are nice and helpful as well. There was not a microwave in our room though making the popcorn I got from the vending machine a lot less exciting.

Beds are as comfortable as two pieces of cardboard with springs in between. Thank God I only had to stay 2 nights. Room smelled like mildew. Will camp next time I'm in town — even this late in the season. However, the staff were friendly, breakfast was decent and the indoor pool & hot tub were clean.

Staff was very courteous and friendly. Rooms were clean and we'll kept. We had a super view of the Mackinaw Bridge from our Balcony Room. The Wi-Fi was fast. Nice indoor pool and hot tub. The Continental breakfast was good but could be better with a few more breakfast items. Overall we will certainly stay there again and they offer military discounts.

For the price you paid it was a fantastic experience. Wonderful View. Great staff. The only issue was the beds were a little stiff.

Super nice view and clean. The bed was rock hard and the kids above us were buttholes running around. Seriously, paid too sleep but it didn't happen. Hopfully they get nicer beds to match the price.

Not bad, had breakfast provided and a decent pool area. The staff was nice. Also, good proximity to restaurants and gas stations.

Extremely loud late at night. The male front desk clerk was extremely rude. At least the room was clean.

Hotel was clean, hotel staff friendly. Location is not downtown but apparently some rooms do have views of the Mackinaw Bridge. Pool was cold. Hot tub was warm, not hot. Pool towels are to be left in the pool area so the carpets are wet. Breakfast consisted of carbs (donuts, breads, frozen waffles, oatmeal, cereal) and yogurt. Breakfast hours are only from 7 — 9am and there is minimal seating.

Hotel room was nice with beautiful view of the lakes and Mackinac bridge from our balcony. Hotel is located to a truck stop but nothing can actually be heard from within the rooms themselves. Rooms had lots of towels and a TV with good channels. Only qualm I had with the hotel was the toilet in our hotel room had a little ring in the bowl right around the water line. Tub and sinks were all clean though. Beds we also made nicely with veeeery comfortable pillows. Breakfast was provided in the lobby however didn't contain things to my personal liking. Wish they would have had fresh do it yourself waffles vs. Toastes waffles. All in all though a decent stay for a decent price. I think we had 2, 2 queen bedrooms and only paid around $240 total (possibly less).

I was very pleasantly surprised by this place the room I stayed in was great and not horribly outdated like most are in the U. P. staff was friendly and helpful. And the view of the bridge was wonderful!

Nothing special unless you get Lakeside then the view in the morning is unmatched. Other than the view it's a pretty normal Super 8.
