Stayed there 10 years ago and the girls in reception were very friendly and attentive. When I return to Owosso I plan to stay at the Comstock Inn.

This is a great place to hold an event at or to stay a night in one of their many nice rooms! Kim is absolutely AMAZING at helping you with all your needs! I highly recommend this place. The hotel is very clean with all the up to date decor. It’s a beautiful decorated hotel. The front desk goes above and beyond to meet your needs. Everyone is just lovely 👍🏼👍🏼 THANK YOU FOR YOUR OUTSTANDING SERVICE WHILE I HOSTED MY EVENT THERE! I’m excited to come back there next month!

The worse experience in a hotel that I have ever had. When we pulled out the hideaway bed it was covered in dirt. We called the front desk and they dropped off a vacuum for US to use. The toilet was clogged before we could use it. We called the front desk and they brought a plunger up and left in at the door for US to use, the plunger did not fix the toilet. Killed 3 spiders in our room, one of them on my pillow! The TV in our room did not work, and we could not get the window to the outside to close properly. Absolute worst!

Very clean, very friendly staff and the front entrance is stunning and was very well decorated for Christmas 2020! We love staying here and will continue to do so!

Had a Saturday stay. Did not book in advance but room available. Was charged 40% higher than internet rate. I asked and was told it was a weekend premium rate but I replied it’s online currently cheaper. “Nothing I can do”
Asked about the hotel bar… around the corner of lobby. No one greeted us. We learned it was a holiday party from a sign. We left to eat outside of hotel. Party music was heard in our room … very loud. Called to ask when it was shutting down… ” don’t know”. Sent me to bar “in a few minutes”. 20 minutes I called and told” bar starts to shut down at midnight”. “Nothing we can do”. Maybe 5% off. So I was up charged 40% and perhaps 5% discount to not sleep in a hotel because of a party below us? Unbelievable. Staff didn’t care. Said manager would be in on Monday and maybe he could do something Update: at midnight, called as loud music continued. Front desk again said nothing they can do. I went to the hotel bar and explained I had children and could not sleep. They didn’t care either. The music continued until almost 1 am.
This would be the last place I’d ever stay.

Great place to stay before the trip on the North Pole Express train ride. Really appreciate the in house Restaurant/Bar and nice little hot chocolate and coffee bar. Pool was being work on so at the present time it wasn’t available to use but still an excellent place to stay.

I cannot say enough about the Comstock Inn's entire staff! Event coordinator Kim Huska went above and beyond to make sure my daughter's wedding was perfect! The food was delicious and there was plenty of it! If you are planning a wedding or any function, please stop in and talk to Kim and check out the facilities! She was there for us every step of the way and was the last one out the door! Thank you to the staff from front desk, housekeeping banquet and the kitchen!

Someone that wasn't staying there threw up in the pool and we couldn't enjoy it. We wanted to swim and when we checked in around four because they wouldn't let us check in early we saw people having fun already in the pool went right to our room got our swimsuits on and by the time we got to the pool it was closed. The people at the front desk didn't even act like they cared…

We loved the place. In town for a softball tournament! The rooms were clean and updated! Chance and Elena were awesome! They both went above and beyond to make my daughter, myself and the other families at home! Thanks to those two we will be back!

Comstock Inn was a pleasant overnight experience. The town of Owasso has a lot to offer and Comstock is located right on main street. The greeting staff was very professional and friendly. The room was a bit dated, but clean and comfortable. Local food was also a great experience. Very friendly small town feel.

My Mom recently stayed here and it wasn’t the best experience for her. First we were looking for a place online and the price for this hotel said $96. She called and asked for a standard room and the lady said $180 something… she said that’s not what I saw online. The women said “that’s our weekday rate on the weekends we charge a lot more”… unfortunately Mom needed a room on Owosso and this was on the correct side of town for her early morning event the follow day. So she booked it. Later in the evening I was making sure she was all settled in and she said there was a race track just down the road and all she could here were racing engines and screaming tires… we won’t EVER be using this hotel again. On a positive note, she did say the room was nice. So I will give 2 stars for that. But we won’t be back.

Beautiful place! Awesome service love all the employees! Best service was with makenna brown she helped me with almost all my service I needed with a smile on her face Definitely recommend this beautiful hotel. You definitely won't be disappointed!

It's dated a little but it was a clean room and the bed was comfortable. Also great service at the front desk and the breakfast was good.

Nice hotel, we went for a wedding. The food was good and the rooms were nice, renovations were still being done and some hallways were messy. I think the courtesy lotion in our bathroom had been used before but otherwise a nice experience.

I will not return… there is another hotel in Owosso now. Breakfast was almost non-existent… no coffee, no eggs, only cold cereal and no milk or orange juice, muffins, etc. We asked at the desk, were made to wait while 3 staff chatted about their personal lives, at least 3-4 minutes of being ignored. Finally got someone to refill coffee and milk machines… but, no eggs, bacon, etc. Why? Apparently all breakfast food is prepared ahead and frozen. When it's gone, it's gone. Hotel was full… we arrived for breakfast at 8:00 am, not even halfway into the stated hours. No apology from staff when we pointed this out. Rooms are looking worn and shabby, especially showers. There has been no competition until this year… I will never go back… I paid Sheraton prices for a Motel 6 experience… shameful.

I have attended meetings and have always enjoyed the food at Tanglewood restaurant. However, after reserving a presidential suite I was extremely disappointed in the lack of professionalism with the cleaning staff. After securing a later check out with management, housekeeping still knocked on the door even with the do not disturb sign. And, after having a conversation with her that I would be leaving at 12:30, she used her key to open my door while I was using the restroom, and told me that I had to leave at 12:15pm. Now, if I hadn't spoken with management, I could maybe understand… But, there was no excuse for this violation of privacy. After being harassed by the staff, a cold shower (no hot water one entire day), and hearing other staff members discussing in the elevator how they didn't want to work, it is very unlikely that I will return as a hotel guest. I'm very disappointed. Nice accommodations, but unfortunately not worth the price.

Won't ever recommend this to anyone since new owners took over. Stayed here a few times in years past for our annual bowling tournament. This time price increased even after being quoted a different price 2 weeks prior. Room was not ready until after 3pm. Steps to the Jacuzzi were broken. Came into hallway after tournament and we were met with the overwhelming smell of marijuana. Told them at the front desk and were told we know but there is nothing we can do. I will make sure to let everyone who asks about it just how bad they have become.

The Inn was clean but the rest is in need of service. The front desk is polite but needs more authority to make decisions. The Manager needs to be present when the facility has two big events two night in a row not leave a do not call message!. They need to keep the rooms that you are confirmed to and not change! Rooms were giving away to others even though the reservation were made 6 months ago. Prices were not given as quoted! So if you want a clean place to stay and don't care if you get the room you asked for this is the place for you.

To start my wedding block was set up months in advance, then a few months before the wedding myself and my wedding planners were told I didn't have a wedding block. So chaos inserted into my planning and trying to figure out where my guests will get accommodations for the night. Only thing accommodating they did was give my husband and I a 50% discount off one room. So the night before my wedding my bridal party and I check in. Staff rude, multiple guests come to the desk to complain their key doesn't work and of course neither did ours. The hotel was extremely humid despite them having AC. Literally 30 minutes after I got married I got a message from the hotel saying my room for the night was cancelled because they didn't have a card on file. When I made the reservation I specifically asked one of the five Autumns who worked there if she wanted my card for the rooms. She said no not all we will square it away when you check in: so I said ok. More than one of our guests said they had trouble checking in and people were getting charged for their stay before they even stayed! The customer service and professionalism is nonexistent. These people have no idea how to run a business and I can guarantee it will start showing. They should be ashamed of how they conduct themselves.

My daughter just had her wedding here everything was way over priced for what they got. I had to rent a room just so the party could get ready when I called and made the reservation I was told $85 because my daughter reserved a 20 room block when I went to check in they told me I had to pay $150! Because I had only made my reservation a week before hand. The brides brother mad his reservation 2 days before hand and still fot his room for $85. From what I understand the manager is new and not a very nice man he was very rude to me. A friend of mines daughter just quit there because of him he is very mean to his female staff (which I witnessed for myself) this is the 3rd time I have ever stayed there and until they get a different manager ot will be the last! I do not recommend to anyone.

We have stayed here many times and the rating reflects a combo of these. We've previously been happy with the hotel, but this time wasn't as thrilled. On the plus side, the hotel consistently has one of the warmest indoor pools at hotels we have stayed at, including this stay. On the negative side, the pack and play for our son didn't have a sheet with it. There was a gala event the night after our stay, and the atrium where breakfast normally is held was in use set up for the gala. Breakfast was moved, but the milk was warm, there was no juice option, the waffle mix was extremely thick, and there was no other hot option (hotel advertises hot breakfast sandwiches on the website) and some of the food was not refreshed. Also the breakfast attendant was gone about half the time. When we went down I needed a high chair for my son and since there was no one around my wife had to search for it.

We attended the New years eve party at the Comstock on Saturday evening. The cost to attend the party was $90 per couple this did include dinner. The dinner was not impressive at all. They served chicken legs and thighs, pulled pork that was very fatty, corn bread was dry. They had red skin potatoes that were ok but they ran out before everyone had eaten. Our server did get potatoes from the restaurant for the couple at our table that had not had them with their dinner. The band was good but really did not play dance music for a party. They had a baked potato bar as a midnight snack. It was supposed to be cheese, sour cream, chives, and bacon. They did not have bacon out for the baked potato bar. I would not attend this party again. For the price that we paid the dinner really needed to be more like a New Years dinner and not a $5 per person picnic.

We had the best time. Lisa, Autumn and staff was the best. So very helpful and pleasant and the most friendless people you will ever meet. We had a very small problem in our room that was really no problem to us at all, and they upgraded us to a king suite with hot tub. And bought us donuts in the morning. Unbelievable. If u ever have a chance to stay there, do it. We can't say enough good about the staff. Thanks Lisa and autumn and staff. We love u.
