Nice pool, awesome full breakfast, their bacon is so thin you can read through it though, otherwise it was very good.

Excellent Hotel nice surroundings right on the river. Fishing, barbecue grill, and bonfire pit. One of the better hotels I've stayed at.

Pool was great, the room was clean and had a great view of the river. The free breakfast was amazing. Fresh eggs, bacon, fruit, muffins, waffles, cereal. They had everything.

We stayed the night, mostly to use the pool and hot tub. The room was great, our window looked out onto the river. The pool was clean. The hotel staff we encountered were all very nice.

Excellent Hotel! By far the best hotel I have ever stayed in. I was in town on business checked in on April 14th the lady I checked in with whose name unfortunately I forgot was very pleasant to speak with! I got to the room and it was very clean, spacious and comfortable. Comfy bed relaxing recliner, clean cold fridge, hot shower and by far the biggest hitek room I've stayed in. When I went down to use the pool and jacuzzi, that are the cleanest and well maintained I've ever seen in a motel I spoke with Zach about the area I was buying property in. He was extremely nice and awesome to talk to as well as very informative about the area which was very helpful to me. I woke up the next morning to a amazing continental breakfast with everything you could want. When I came back that afternoon from buisness, I was greeted with warm fresh baked cookies, had another great nights stay and if im ever needing a hotel I willgo out of my way to stay at this one. Great job to the staff and owners of this hotel, I would highly reccomend!

This hotel is very professional, and they are very friendly. As soon as my mother entered, they welcomed her like they were friends for years. They held the doors open for her, and I recommend this hotel to anyone and everyone! If you are going to book a hotel for your trip to Oscoda, I suggest you come here. The one place I do not recommend going to is the Lakeside Hotel, my entire family got sick from mold and it smelled like horrible mildew. They advertised a pool, hot tub, sauna, and breakfast, yet it all was closed. AmericInn is 100% recommended by me!

We always stay here when we come up. The staff is more than accommodating, the rooms are clean, and you are right on the banks of the Asable river. Really makes you feel good.

Clean rooms. Impeccable staff, always friendly and wanting to help. Pool and sauna area are well kept. Always fresh cookies at the main desk. Continental breakfast with fresh waffles, fruit, yogurt, juices.

My family and I have been going to Oscoda for years. This was our first time staying at AmericInn and we all were impressed. We had family in for a funeral and the staff took care of us very well. They are all polite, the rooms are nice, great pool area, and the breakfast is not your average hotel breakfast. Thank you for taking care of my family and we will all see you again around May.

This is a great Hotel. It's close proximity to all the wildlife and fun in Oscoda Michigan. The staff is more than accommodating hats off to you guys! I highly recommend staying at this property whenever you come to Northern Michigan and beautiful Oscoda!

Best hotel in the area by far. Come to the area quite a lot because of family. I have stayed in most of the other hotels and this is the best. The rooms are clean, the breakfast bar is pretty good, and the pool is clean an warm (ish).

I really like this place. The rooms are clean and no-frills but very comfortable and quiet. The desk staff is always very pleasant and more than happy to give recommendations and advice on local activities, dining, bars, nightlife, outdoor activities. They'll even fresh bake some cookies for you. The pool/hot tub/sauna are perfect after a long day working or playing. Very laid-back place. Oh, and they serve a free breakfast every day. The waffles are great. Avoid the sausage gravy if you're watching your sodium.

The only reason not a five star is because there is no fitness equipment and face it, it's not a luxury hotel. That being said, we have been staying here for years and it has drastically improved. Always clean, staff is super friendly. Breakfast is good for what it is and we always leave happy. Reasonable price too.

Staff is very professional and cordial. Let us book a last minute reservation without any complaint. Breakfast is served hot and fresh every morning. Nice view out the window from 2nd floor. The only complaint would be very dim lighting in the rooms.

We had a super pleasant stay at this hotel! Great location. Great staff. Great room. We thoroughly enjoyed our cozy little room with a jacuzzi and fireplace. Very clean and met my expectations for the price. The pool was warm and inviting, the sauna was nice, and the hot tub was relaxing. Continental breakfast was good. I really have nothing bad to say about our experience here. I will say that we did have a very awkward encounter with a man who was naked in the public jacuzzi Seriously? Get a room with a jetted tub bro. Other than that, I def recommend this hotel.

I came to Michigan to work for the week with a few doctors at the St. Joseph Healthcare system hospital in Tawas. I was originally booked to stay close to the hospital at the Tawas Bay Beach Resort. After reading several bad reviews online I decided to move my reservation to the Americinn 20 minutes north in Oscoda. It has been worth the drive. The employees at the hotel are very friendly. It is the slow season and they kindly put me in a second floor corner suite and I have only seen one or two other patrons even though there are several cars in the lot. Hotel is not super modern but it is clean and nice. I have a mini-fridge, microwave, and a flat screen TV. I have not had any issues with dirty linens. Had one issue with the card reader on my door not working but it was promptly fixed while I was out working for the day. The lobby is small and quaint. I would recommend this hotel to anyone who appreciates friendly employees, and clean room, and does not mind not having the most up to date amenities.

Pleasantly surprised! Nice, quiet, very clean rooms. The staff was very helpful and friendly. Good breakfast available. Sits across the road from the Au Sable river channel with covered deck and chairs. Good for fisherman (when in season). Will stay here again when in the area & recommend it to family and friends. Good job AmericInn :)
