Rooms did not look like the ones on the website. Very old buildings. Openings around the doors. Housekeeping needs to learn how to clean. There was soap, and shampoo on the bathtub from previous people. The toilet was not cleaned during our stay. Somethimg on the bottom of the bathtub, I assumed it was because the tub was stained not something I wanted to stand on. Very upsetting for what the room cost.

We couldn't even stay the night. The room smelled terrible. The phone was not plugged in and the receiver was dirty and sticky. The curtains were falling down. The fridge was not plugged in. The TV was not working and when I called the front desk she said, "Well, if you want the picture and the sound to both work, you can turn it off and on again. " That did not work. The 220 air conditioner plug was sticking up out of the ground in an unsafe way. The smoke detector was open so that it would not work if there was a fire. When we tried to close it, the battery started beeping. There was no lamp in between the beds but we did find one in the laundry room being used to light up the room. The maintenance man did come get the TV working but it was evening and he was busy running around fixing things in different rooms. When we went to say we could not stay in that room there was also another person asking to be moved to a different room. The staff did offer to move us to a different room and the staff was friendly except when we wanted to leave but it was so bad we could not stay. Sadly we lost our money because we signed the paper saying no refunds when we checked in. Well, we weren't expecting such a nasty, nasty place. So bad I looked to see if there were bed bugs and we took our belongings right back out the door just in case.

Not what I was hoping for. Tub/shower has seen better days. Room had a musty smell. The room just seemed run down. Bed is comfortable & pillows are nice. Definitely loud at night, didn't get much sleep!

Wish I could rate this place 0 stars. Horrible. There were bed bugs. The non-smoking room wreaked of cigarette smoke. The whole room was filthy. I wiped everything down with Clorox wipes and the wipes would be dirty and black every single wipe down of the room. I gave up trying to clean this gross room. The mattress, sheets, pillows and blankets all had stains. We went to the front desk to ask for more sheets and blankets, only to be handed more stained sheets and blankets. The bathtub has some type of paper laid across the bottom of the tub, it was disgusting. Hairs stuck to the adhesive around the edges of the paper and hairs all over the bathroom. There were bugs and cobwebs everywhere we turned in the room. People out walking around the property at all hours of the night, yelling and screaming at each other with no regard for others. Sketchy people sitting outside at all hours of the night. The manager, Kelly, was extremely rude and the opposite of accommodating. To her, we (the guests) were the problem, not the outdated, disgusting rooms being sold for $100+. There are many better hotels in the area, steer clear of this one.

Staff could be better with the people that stay their that have certain circumstances that prevent them from finding placement. These people pay you and you treat them poorly. They dont wanna be there as much as you dont seem to want them there. Being kind makes people talk about your buisness which will make people wanna stay there. Helping people with children who are trying to better themselves goes a long way. Just sayin. Try being nicer to your customers. Because without them, you do NOT HAVE A BUISNESS…

The fire alarm was chirping, there was no t. V. Remote, the ac wad off and I walked in to 78 degrees at 10pm when tired after driving for 16 hours. The fridge wasn't plugged in and cold and the bed had 17 loose hairs on top. People outside were loud at 3am and at 4am car alarms were going off in the parking lot. Gross hotel and I will never stay again!

Do not stay here. Our room had mold in the shower and on shower curtain. Staff was very rude. Room was not clean at all. Smelt like cigarette smoke. Definitely not worth your money. Toilet was even used and not even cleaned. Should be called America’s worst. Is there a — 5 star rating button anywhere?

I stayed here on May 19, 2018. There were two police cars when I showed up (due to an unruly guest). The front desk girl wouldn't even look at me when she spoke. My room reeked of cigarette smoke (and was marked as a non-smoking room). There was a 4-foot section of laminate floor missing. There was hair in the sink and shower. I got to listen to a drug dealer sell his product to the room next to me at 1am. My motorcycle was hit and damaged by one of the guests, who then drove off without reporting it. I learned about it when the front desk clerk pounded on my room for at 3am with all of his might, WITHOUT ANNOUNCING HIMSELF (I seriously thought that I was in danger and needed to call the police). The front desk girl the next morning kept interrupting me when I tried to tell her about my problems. I requested a refund on the room and she told me, "That ain't my problem". I requested to speak to the general manager and she responded with, "I ain't giving you her number'. I left my number and requested a call, and six days later I still haven't heard anything back. I gave this motel the chance to make things right, but they've shown no interest in even speaking to me. We'll see if their attitude changes after I call their corporate office.

Room smelled like an ashtray. Overall very unclean. Beds were made with dirty rags in them. Tv was poor quality with some channels having no volume. Way overpriced.

This property needs an investment ASAP. Rooms looks old, mattresses are saggy and a bit uncomfortable, bathroom tubs are discolered, and carpeting underneath the beds are a huge possibility of nesting roaches, beds bugs or any kind of insects. The positive note is that is very close to the highway so access in and out is convenient. My next time in Jackson, I'll look for different property.

Horrible! Horrible Horrible! Customer service was rude and very disrespectful! Bed linens we're dirty and the staff were reluctant to change the sheets. I wouldn't recommend staying at this motel!

Awful awful place! Bed bugs, (found out later, per the news and locals) leaking plumbing, and very dirty and smelly! We left after looking at three different rooms and not one was clean or usable. The night manager was very polite and gave us a full refund.

Clean rooms and friendly staff. We got the double bed room and it was 66 dollars. Kinda steep for what you get. The shower head is horrible. It felt like you have to be right up on it to get any good pressure. There isn't a coffee machine in the room, which kinda sucks. The beds were pretty comfortable. The TV was a good quality with decent channels. The room did come with a fridge and a microwave which was pretty cool. All in all it was a good experience but for the price, I'd like to see more.

Weatherstripping missing from door, floor soaked from malfunctioning AC/Heat unit, no microwave plate and mice! Otherwise the bed is comfortable the room is clean. No coffee maker in room also. And all the towels are rough as hell.

THIS HOTEL HAS BED BUGS! WE Found 2 bed bugs and also 10 bites on my fiancee. We called the front desk and they did NOTHING said we must of brought them and told us to leave at 930 am when check out is at 11. Waste of money.

Room was clean and the bed was decent. Parking spot was a little difficult to back out of and the driveway location was difficult to get in and out of at 5:00 traffic. Wouldn't recommend for anyone over 6 foot, as I was taller than the shower head by a few inches despite being only 5-7. Neighbors got into a screaming match at 11:00 at night, but that's not ownership's fault. If you're looking for a cheap place to fall asleep as soon as you get there and leave as soon as you get up, this will do the trick.

It's a decent room for the price we got it booked at. But let me tell you I will NEVER stay here again. The room we had originally booked was just completely filthy and, gross. So my fiances mom went and talked to the front desk. So he came in and took pictures, so we got upgraded to a suit. Anyways we got into that room and it was completely gross… there was hair on the floor by the Jacuzzis, there's was a douche under the sink. Bugs all in the windowsill and we went to bed and woke up to a mouse on our table… this place either needs better workers or better inspectors. Probably both…

Do yourself a favor and do not stay here. We booked online, and arrived — our first room smelled so strongly of smoke, even though we had asked for a non-smoking room, we had to ask for a change. The next room was dirty, smelled almost as much, and was otherwise completely sub-par. We asked for a refund to go elsewhere and they refused, because I had moved a bed covering. We offered to pay to have the bed remade, they refused again. It's in a terrible part of town, felt very sketchy and unsafe. Will never do business with this hotel again.

I would never recommend anyone staying at this hotel. I had a displeasing experience staying one night there and didn't want to stay for the second. I told them I wanted to leave early and they refused to give me a refund. When I went to give them the room key another lady was checking out early but she was given her refund. So much for an honest business.

Horrible! Bed was very lumpy, the whole room smelled terribly of smoke even though it was a non-smoking room. The floor was sticky. There was a pubic hair stuck to the toilet seat. I do not recommend staying here at all. They also would not refund my money.

Okay the old saying you get what you pay for well I'm here to say it is true about this hotel. Back in February 2017 I knew I would be going to the Faster Horses Music Festival so knowing that hotels would be upping their prices for that weekend I booked my stay 4 months in advance. The night before I go down there I call and pay for half my room by credit card to get points then I was paying the rest with cash when I got there. However when I got there my hotel stay of $399 went to $919 the assistant manager Candace had charged me twice the $399 original price the room was booked for and then charged me additional $260 2'x the balance she said was owed but it really should have only been $130 when I got down there. Trying to talk to Candace didn't work and knowing all the hotels were booked in the area I paid the $260 she said that was owed. I then went straight to my room and call the place that I had booked my reservations through. Because of the time of night there was nothing to do till the next morning. Happily by 7:30 Saturday morning all the extra charges made by Candace had been reversed and I was only paying my original $399 price for the room. However this is not the end of the story. That first night after I finally calm myself down and I get set up for our stay, I keep finding these little brown beetles everywhere in my room well I thought okay maybe they flew in because we had propped open so when we could bringing our stuff in it without it closing on us.

Everything was great! Hotel room is smaller but it had a great little kitchen service was very nice and friendly!

The Housekeeping in this place is god awful. Not only do they do a poor job, they are rude on top of it. Will not be staying here again!

This place was terrible! Luckily I only stayed 1 night, but the rest of the FSAE team had to stay 5. They never cleaned the rooms, it was hot and musty, it smelled funky, and when the toilet/broke, they wouldn't fix it. Not worth the money at all. I'd understand if it were only $30/night. But it was $70. Worth paying to go elsewhere.

The rooms are alot better then they used to be years ago. Our door has been broken so many times you have to slam shut, we found dirty food bags in the dresser and food wrapers in the shower. Tv has three statioms that come in… with static. Towels are so hard and crusty (dont wanna know why) Beds are really bad. Havent seen any bugs yet (fingers crossed) and of course there are rude ass hood scum here that blare music and almost hit people in the driveway. But like I said it tooks alot better then it was, should be about 40$/ night, its by everything and the staff is nice and keeps you out of the cold.

I got a room in my name for my babys mother and her 3 kids because her heat went out at home and she couldnt find her Id they kicked her out at 3am her and the babys ages 9, 7, 6 months called the cops on her said she was fighting with people failed to show any proof cuz it was untrue then said it was because I wasnt there and she was I told them there would only be 1 adult does not mean its me put her and the children out in the freezing cold is what pissed me off with them kids thats what pissed me off and failed to refund us the money for the other 2 days that were paid for ahead of time.

My sister and her 3 baby heat went out in her house. She need to have a warm place for her kids to sleep, so she went here. 1 hour after being there they called down and asked why she was there. The room was in her baby daddy's name. She explained the situation and offered to give them her ID. The man told her no need just needed her name. 45 mins later the police where there. The police said that she refused to leave. (mind you she was never asked to leave). American Best Value then said she needed to go with her 3 babies in the cold middle of the night. She had paid for 3 night, when she asked for her money back she was told no. That she was fighting. Fighting with who the 9yr old, 7 yr old, or the 6 month old baby? I called to talk to Manager Candi she was rude and nasty. " oh well don't know what to tell you no refund" so she paid for 3 nights got to stay 45 mins and they kept all her money.

Great location, right off the highway, and can walk to hit the local mall for shopping, and dining, as well as plenty of businesses along the main strip. They've recently remodeled, and I love the new look of the rooms. The flat screen tvs and hardfloors make a great addition to the property. Was disappointed they no longer have a pool, but saw that it wasn't advertised or listed on their website, so I can't fault them. A great team, with a quick check in, and housekeeping was courteous and prompt with their service. I highly recommend you change the color of the room numbers on the door, when I pulled in last night, I couldn't make out the room numbers unless the lights were shining directly on the door, as the numbers are black against blue. PROTIP: Staying more than a week? Get the kitchenette. They don't advertise their availability online, so make sure you call or ask for the upgrade.

Very rude. Definitely would pay more elsewhere. The employees are rude some racist. Quick to take your money then treat you bad. And its ok to have all the parties out there but a big scene when a child tries to have fun. Its a inconvenience to them. They will never get my money and I will recommend. Others to go elsewhere. Unless you would rather waist your money.

Well the front desk staff was very friendly, easy check in. Ok first to start they should put it on there website they charge a nonrefundable $10 fee for your pet. I mean it's not alot but should be known. Ok next we had a bit of a problem with the door it was hard to close from the outside but we figured it out. Next is was clean well not to bad could be a bit better. The bathroom could be in better shape there was hair on the floor from the NO NO area. Yuck… The little sink area next to the bathroom had something black in the sink didn't wanna touch it but ok. The pillows on the bed looked like someone was staying in the room still. Not sure about the room next door the guy kept standing in the door way stairing my husband down, I really didn't like that to well made me a bit uncomfortable. Oh the chair they provided in the room looked like some one was stabbed in it or what not how they could leave it in the room is nasty but ok. We are staying for three days so we will see how quiet it will be. I will report anything that changes in that time. The TV well it was crap for channels, the remote was missing the back plate an the remote didn't work that well. The upside is a fridge an microwave came in the room that was a for sure plus, free Wi-Fi love that check out is 11am.

Rooms are cheap. You'll get a very bare-bones, no-frills room. Location is very convenient to major roads and shopping/restaurants. Wifi is surprisingly fast and reliable (17.5Mb up / 9Mb down).

First, they lied to me on the phone about having a pool, when I got there I asked where the pool was, and they said "it was really ratty this spring when we opened it" I still can't even see where it even would've been. The pillows were abnormally small, and the desk chair had a large white stain on it. I can only hope it was yogurt. CHEAPLY PRICED THOUGH! You get what you pay for. I'd probably stay there again.

Pillows were small and had a strange smell, never did find out what smell was from. Discovered on second nite (yuk) that there was a yellow stain on the sheet. I don't travel much and I always forget that you get what you pay for. I checked out very early on second day just to get away.

This is my second night here and I have had no issues. The hotel is old and the beds aren't the best but the staff are nice and the people all around us are nice. If you want a great big fancy hotel pay for one.

This was the first and last time I'll stay in an Americas Inn unless I just need a bed and four walls and don't care about anything else but it needs to be about 1/3 the price. Not sure where they came up with the picture of the room on their website but it definitely wasn't from this location. Pool was 2/3 full of rainwater, leaves and whatever else, looked like it hadn't been used in a couple of years or so. The "non-smoking" room had burn marks on the edge of the sink and smelled. All in all not a good experience, was definitely expecting a lot more for the price.

Perfect place to stay for NASCAR at MI speedway. Easy 30 min drive to lot 3. Starbucks next door. Hotel was clean and well kept. Very basic, but that's what I expected. Good value.

Not bad at all, looked a little seedy but the rooms were clean and comfortable, it was quite and the staff was nice and pleasant. Wi-Fi was good which surprised me as we were away from the office. I didn't ask, nor did they volunteer if they had breakfast so assume they didn't. Its not fancy but for the price, it was fine.
