The runs at Otsego Resort are the best in Michigan. No lift lines, great service at the bars. Can't ask for a better place to go for the weekend.

Incredible historic property with stunning views. Unlike any other ski resort as the lodge is on top of the valley as opposed to sitting at the base of a hill so you actually ski down into the valley. This is my favorite place to ski in Michigan. Tons of character and the river cabin and main lodge are amazing. Great family resort with wonderful staff. New owners are making several upgrades. Highly recommend.

Five stars. We hosted our wedding reception 10/12/2019 at the Otsego Resort and we can not find a fault in the dedication and customer service we received. The food was AMAZING and the bar service great. When my husband wanted a particular liquor someone went to go get for him so he could be well accommodated. I was offered a room off the reception area for changing at a surcharge, which turned out great since I needed a breather once during the night. Since we got married in the fall and it was peak season we got the most beautiful pictures with the valley behind us. I almost love those pictures more than our ceremony pictures! The resort was accommodating in our special request of having a table out for our temporary tattoo station. (This was a huge hit after people starting drinking! )

The employees rocked this Holiday Break! They were remarkably busy and even with Covid they handled it not only well but with positive behaviors! Cam took care of us in the skiing department along with Ben in the Rentals. Danielle’s Staff was prepared and did everything they possibly could do to allow us to have great experiences dining all week! Kathy was just about everywhere and she always stopped to say hello and introduced herself since we were new to the resort! The snow conditions of skiing were absolutely amazing and it was totally noted that you must have worked through the night with the snow making! We woke up many Mornings to jumps and more hills open! You nailed it Otsego Resort in my Hospitality eyes!

Couldn’t find a room on a Saturday night, as we were heading up north. This gem fell into our laps, and we were so happy. The grounds are beautiful and kept up. The buildings were so cute and we couldn’t believe we had found this place. The rooms were clean and a little bit updated. Definitely had that older lodge feel, but we couldn’t complain, because that’s exactly what it was! Haha loved it! Definitely recommend.

Great to shred and well taken care of. Definitely could use an up grade not everyone liked the 80's.

Booked tee times 4 weeks ago, called to add another today. I was then informed they are closed till late June/early July due to a change in ownership. Typically that is a sign of severe, prolonged neglect. Also, the fact that it took a call from me to find out my previously booked tee times were no longer applicable is ridiculous. Looks like a fantasic layout, but management/client service is sub par (punn intended) to say the least.

Wanted to share that skiing at the Otsego Resort this past winter was excellent! Open to the public with 27 runs, 5 chairlifts and stunning views into the Sturgeon River Valley, Otsego is a premier ski destination for family and friends. The beautiful log main lodge, roaring fireplaces, great restaurants and bars make for a charming, warm and inviting ski experience! Looking forward to next ski season at Otsego!

Skied there last weekend for first time. Kind of cool place, appears to be a 1930's vintage resort for the common area buildings. Ski area was mostly well groomed. Not all runs open for late season at full price of $65.5 lifts, but mostly beginner-intermediate runs. Scenic place, worth a look, but there is lots more challenging skiing at the bigger places.

The Otsego Club is home to the well-rated Tribute course and also popular Classic course. These tree-lined and open parkland layouts should not disappoint, with many attractive features and several excellent holes to enjoy. The Tribute in particular is one to include on your play list if you are in the area.

We just love this place, great snow quality, soft groomed runs, manicured-perfect jumps and rarely icy on the slopes. The 5th lift is our favorite area to spend the day at and has a beautiful river cabin to hang out in. Perfect for families and skiers/snowboarders. So happy they are open to the public now! Reasonable lift ticket prices. We have found that Otsego has great snowmaking abilities too so don’t let local snow conditions discourage anyone.

Went skiing here for only the second time in j my life today. Took my two kids and their grandpa. Good variety of runs, with good vertical and some challenging slopes (there are a number of double black diamonds). Multiple quality terrain parks. The lodge has that “Up North” feel with many fireplaces and a good menu. With Boyne raising its rates seemingly every year, this presents a good alternative for families wanting to enjoy a good time skiing or snowboarding! We will be back… by far the most convenient place to ski close to Gaylord. As a bonus, we got our 4WD truck stuck in a drift at the end of the day. John (employee) brought his off road truck over and pulled us out! Thanks, John!

We had a group of 20 at the Otsego Resort for a week of golf and fun just in the past couple of weeks. It was absolutely amazing. Bob Wilson, Sales Director, went out of his way to make our group welcome, accommodating such a large group with ease. Our suites were wonderful (housed in the Hilltop Lodge), our meals were exemplary (thanks so much to Sara and Chef Ray and their helpers), the housekeeping staff (led by Jennifer) were absolutely amazing, the golf pro (James Marshall) was so very kind and helpful, other staff (Rose on the front Desk, Heather (or Jamie) on the front desk, Alison, Danielle, Mike, John) and many more all helped to make this the most memorable experience for our golf group. Thank you so very much. We hope to make Otsego Resort our "go to" place every year! The golf courses in the Gaylord area are amazing, but our favourite out of the five we played was The Tribute right at Otsego! Thanks again, Otsego, for an absolutely wonderful vacation.
