The lady who was working here (seemed like a manager… russian accent) when I stayed here was so cruel to me because I was feeding my baby while parked in her lot for less than one minute. I told her I would be less than 30 seconds more and she went to call rh the cops. I dont understand how a person could be so evil.

A very nice motel. I would stay there again.

Everything was great. The breakfast is a little low on variety but other then that there isn't much to complain about.

Friendly, easy check in but when we discovered the TV remote only muted or turned up/down the volume we notified the front desk and we're told to push the remote buttons harder… the TV buttons didn't even work to change the channel. The young kid at the desk showed little interest after he received our money. Definitely preferred it when it was an Economic Lodge. I'll stay elsewhere when I visit Escanaba.

Not the best motel but it works, but one of my friends in was at the hotel with found bed bugs in there bed.

A clean inexpensive comfortable motel. Friendly staff. Breakfast was minimal to non-existent but I'm picky with what I eat.

Very nice and I've definitely been enjoying my stay at this hotel. It's got nice, clean rooms and the atmosphere is very quiet and peaceful. :)

It was just as I expected a basic room to be, basic.

The hotel was pretty good for the price. Nothing fancy, but the room was clean and we had very good service. One thing that was odd, however, is that there is no elevator to the second floor.

The Location is optimal for where I spent my time outside of the room… The room was more than I Expected… with a do not disturb sign on the door, the only person I dealt with was check in and Check out. But I did enjoy my time in the on site Sauna.

T. V. Didn't work. A/C didn't work initially. "Breakfast" was very mediocre — jelly was old, peanut butter was just out of an old jar with a flimsy plastic knife, one kind of donuts, coffee was bad, no yogurt, a few bananas, no fruit the second day. Hot tub advertised was "not working". Not up to our usual expectations. Do not recommend.

Friendly owners great rates would stay there again.

Honestly don't have much experience in hotels but this place is nice. Yeah they need to improve some things like cleaning the whirl pool and a few other small things but overall it's a nice hotel. I love the staff they are the most respectful and helpful people here and it's a quite place to stay. I've had little issues with the bedrooms other than the pipes making a little squeaking noise.

The only reason I would even give this place one star is because there is actually a building there oh and apparently you can't rate them lower then that to leave a review. Other then that this place has nothing going for it! Not only is this place a complete dive but they rent weekly room to multiple drug users and the entire building smells of what I can only imagine a methlab smells like.

A little dated but the service was good.

Bed bugs. No insert for a video of what I recorded because I needed PROOF so I could get some type of money back.

Worst place that I have ever stayed. Rude people. Bad rooms. Smelly beds. Even if I booked the room from this hotel they wanted to send me another hotel. Stay away!

The hottub was broken, the rooms were dirty and poorly maintained. A cheap place to stay, if funds are limited.

Owner is rude and place is dirty.

If you're looking for a clean, comfortable place to stay without all the bells and whistles and expense, this is it. Had everything we needed and more at a very nice price. If you need fancy carpet, microwave and fridge, pay nearly twice as much elsewhere. We were quite comfortable and slept well there. Was so quiet, that our dog, who was welcome, never had reason to bark. Thanks.

1st room looked ok initially but refused because it had dirty sheets and pillow drool, they happily set us up with another room wich also had dirty sheets with hair and crumbs neetly folded into the bed. Got refund and will not go back.

Friendly, helpful staff — decent breakfast — although dated, this is a good place to stay if you are on a budget.

7/15/13 If you book online they won't give you a receipt unless you asked. What I learned is the desk clerks do nothing about the room and rates its all controlled by a third party. Weird. The room was smallish and carpet stains. Nothing fancy. A lot of construction people stay there for weekly rates.

Vert quiet! Awsome location on the beach! Wow im speechless. All this for a $35 on priceline! Empty parking lot! :).

I wasn't expecting a top notch hotel visit, but this is by far the worst hotel I have ever stayed in. The main reason we stayed here is because they allowed pets. The carpet was horrible, stains every where and it smelled bad. We found a bug in our bed, and the tub didn't drain. The toilet seat broke off. The price was cheap, and breakfast was very good however not worth staying because it was so dirty. I was not impressed. To top it all off they changed the name, and didn't tell us so we could not find the place for some time. When I read good reviews I wonder if it is the hotel staff writing them because I can't imagine this to be a good place to stay unless someone's standards are extremely low.
