I give it 1 star only because I had to choose. They are renovating, barely speak english, rooms are gross, they like dealing with the convicts better than hard working people. Sewage backs up, good luck getting deposit back, kids clean rooms, reservations mean nothing, construction all hours of the night. Indoor pool is about 104 degrees. So hot you dont want to swim.

We were put in the most horrible hotel room I have ever been in and my entire life. They have been remodeling this hotel for the last 2 years we have stayed there before and we were put on the floor where there was no renovating but it was still very loud during the day yesterday we were put on the floor that was being renovated and I experienced such a severe headache from the smell of paint chemicals whatever comes along with renovation the ice machine was out of service the elevator was so disgusting not to mention getting off the elevator to our room on the third floor and there was drywall and paint and plastic and chemicals in the air it was Despicable we let the front desk know and asked him why would somebody put us on the floor the renovating and he commented night guy was new okay so why was he not trained and why was he putting people on the floor that was being renovated close it down renovate it and have a grand opening or put people on a floor where it's finished it does have nice rooms that we have been in, in the past they had light bulbs missing from the lamps the lighting was ridiculous bottom line This is feedback so hopefully the owner can make some changes or do some proper training and have more staff then just somebody at the front desk taking money and keeping an eye on a whole hotel alone we will never stay at the Red Roof Inn in Lincoln Park.

This is actually not a Red Roof anymore even tho the Sign and the agents shirt state such. Guess they are mid sale? Bad customer service, act like they don't see you when leaving, hardly ever see anyone at the desk, lobby stairs need very badly to be vacuumed, breakfast isn't much, no one is watching over that, pastries very dry, waffle maker hasn't been cleaned in years it looks like, no one cleaning tables or counters, etc. No extra toilet paper in the bathroom, water in sink hardly drains, carpet tattered. Rooms did seem to be fairly clean surprisingly. Way outdated bed spreads. Whole place needs to be redone very badly. Would not stay here again.

This is what happens when you book cheap. 1st our room had a dirty towel on the bed and hanging on the side of the tub. 2nd a Dirty plastic fork on the table. 3rd the ice bucket with water in it, And 4th The toilet wasn't even flushed. Lesson learned! Hall way and room didn't look like that it had been vacuumed in a long time. Overall dirty.

Very clean and very quiet, fruendly hospitality and best of all, NO BUGS.

My room smells like smoke all 3 days that I have stayed. It's suppose to be a non smoking room. The elevator smells like piss. Don't stay here unless you are a family of 6 with 4 kids, oh yeah that's what's going on in the hall way…

Checked in cause it was the close to us and we needed somehwere to crash for the night. Bad idea. Walking in must hit me in the face and it was horrible. A part of the lobby didn't have carpet but a cement floor, with dingy furniture. The person working the desk was very polite and had a very good attitude, but didn't practice proper hygiene. There's a Indor pool but it's pathetic and looks like a swamp with pathetic painting on the walls and wet socks and towels all over the floor, I did not use the pool at all. We got to the room and it was gross. Blankets were burnt with cigarettes and stained and bed skirts were torn and stained. TV was dated and fuzzy, there was a left over breadstick in the safe box that was left from the past guest. Went outside to the dumpster and I see a ton of matresses being thrown away, I got closer and it turns out they were all infested with bed bugs, after this I was disgusted and tore apart my room but I didn't see anything. Would not stay here again unless I absolutely had to.

I am very upset and disgusted by this hotel. This hotel is very unprofessional. Upon arrival I received a room with a faulty television and once I notified the front desk the clerk blew his breath and continuously slammed equipment before granting me a room with better, not well functioning, equipment. The room also reeked of weed which resulted in my guest suffering a serious migraine due to her low tolerance for the smell. Once in the second room I found later on that the coffee machine was not working because it began smoking profusely. I cleaned the HOT WATER with a towel and checked out. Later on after checkout I was notified that my guest had suffered from multiple bed bug bites all over her body which shes allergic to. I also found that I had been charged a damage fee, a towel damage fee. The hotel claimed that I damaged a wash cloth with hot water. I called to discuss the matter with the hotel manager and I was avoided. I do plan on taking further repercussions pertaining to the bedbug bites and I do not recommend this hotel. This is not the first time I've encountered difficulty with this hotel but it will be the last.

Stayed out of desperation, as no room at a good Red Roof in Dearborn, Mi. Place in disrepair, dirty, simple remote did not even work. Stay away from that one. Too bad you can't go negative stars. Never go back.

It is one of the best hotels I've stayed in. The pool is too good. They've a very good breakfast and the good thing is they serve breakfast to pets too. It have a very nice ambience. Being a rediCard member I never regret to visit this hotel. The staff is amazing and they are very friendly.

If you are into women of the night, weed, dirty rooms, and bed bugs. This is the right spot for you. One of the worst experiences of my life at this hotel. This has to be one of worst hotels around. I am pretty sure people are making movies in these rooms. We left after 15 minutes because of a used condom on our floor.

I would rate this hotel negative 10 stars. Upon check in, we witnessed a drug deal in the drop off zone. After passing through the run down entrance with dingy carpet, I gazed into what would appear as a pool or glorified scum pond. After checking in to my room I noticed a used condom on the floor. I immediately gather my belongings and preceeded to speak to a manager. While walking with an employee who took a picture of the proflolactic I noticed a dumpster filled with an entire floor of mattresses. As I proceeded to escape this dirt hole of a hotel I noticed white power all over the floor, only to find out the first floor was closed due to a bed bug infestation. Don't stay here!

This hotel is disgusting! If I could give zero stars I would! The room smelled like cigarette smoke in a NON SMOKING ROOM! The whole 3rd floor smelled like marijuana! The TV is apart of the Stone Age! The pool was disgusting! Trash everywhere! And there was a girls weave just laying out! Hotel had mold on the bottom of the doors and there was exposed wires in the pool area … HELLLO you can't have exposed wires near water! Prostitutes And drug addicts lived out of this hotel. No heat or air in my room and keep in mind I stayed in March and it's cold In Michigan. Also the breakfast was never kept up with, cereal everywhere, every morning I had to let someone know to re fill something, this place is a joke! And the staff barely spoke English. I stayed for 3 nights and never will I ever stay at a red roof inn again because of this experience! I will be getting a refund! I do not recommend this hotel to anyone! Not even my worst enemy!

This is my first night, I will unfortunately be here 3 more nights. The front desk guy was nice to me but didn't sound vary nice to people on the phone. We stayed over the new years and after we got into our room on the 3rd floor it recked of pot on the whole floor. I'm planning on picking up a air filter from my mom cause I can't breath well in my room. My kids fell asleep and a fight breaks out right in front of my door. Screaming, yelling, swearing, just a drunken pack of girls fighting it out right in front of my room, really. Police must of showed up cause I could hear a man yell and everyone had a story. I could see boys smoking pot and girls splashing cans of something throw my peep hole. As for the rooms, smelled of a strong men's colone as we first entered, deflated pillows, stapled wall paper over the showers, toilet seat moves when you sit on it, hair dryer cord is melted, TV is stuck in the stoneage, shortage in the lighting. O ya and missing some bulbs. This is not the first red roof I stayed at but I think I learned my lesson. I'm done with this chain. My family is in this area so I thought it can't be that bad well I think a frat house is quieter at night.

Great place with solid breakfast. Front desk personell were a little slow with initial check in.

Aweful. Don't stay here. Prostitutes work this joint. Red Roof Inn should not even let them call it a Red Rood Inn. A dump.

Not very clean. They didn't even have a key card for our room so they have to let us in are room. No discount for this too and we are staying 2 nights.

Room was decorated with furniture that looked and smelled like it came from a goodwill store, poor tv, no channels to watch, dirty carpet, the staff was friendly, but spike no english, way too overpriced.

This hotel has bed bugs! I went and stayed there for a night and cam back home with bed bugs! I do not recommend this hotel for anyone! the head house keeper there "Norma" has such a bitchy attitude and is racist! do not come to this hotel!

Its ok as big as the beds are woke up with my back hurting, flat screen in the lobby old TV in my room, light has an shortage in it comforter has a big hole in it! Wont stay here again!

When we got there the hotel smelled of mildew. The lady at the front desk was less than friendly and didn't seem to know how to check in a customer. We received our keys and went upstairs with a 2 year old and a dog only to find both keys didn't work. Went back down and keys didn't work again! We had to be let in with a master key. AC was loud and so is the train that goes by on the property. There was mold growing on the ceiling in the hallwaY too. my sister in laws room didn't have a working ac and the room she was given to replace it, had dirty sheets (hard spots on the sheets) Seems as though they're never going to finish their renovations that have been mentioned. The pool is small and there were rarely enough towels by the pool. my final room had an AC that only worked when it wanted to and when we asked what they were going to do about our poor stay they offered us 15% off our next stay the day we were checking out. You couldn't pay me to stay here again.

UNDER NEW MANAGEMENT! Manager here seems to be trying to upgrade and is very kind and professional. I travel all over the USA. Been in multiple hotels and this one is decent. For the Amenities, the price, the customer service, and rooms which was Great and unexpected because of reviews. I'm totally satisfied! If your not maybe sending $219 at the hotels near the airport is best for you. I did two days ago until I found this. Stayed in room 304 in Lincoln Park, MI.

I wish I could attach pics to this review. I stayed here on 2/15/15 and stayed in room 332. This was my experience. THE CHECK IN::: I arrived at the hotel around 7pm and approached the front desk. No one was there so I rang the bell (more than a few times) finally a woman approached the desk rather slowly with a look on her face like I was annoying her. I checked in and was given papers to sign, ok fair enough,, except the pen she gave me was leaking,, and by the looks for the counter, it had been leaking all day,,, ink everywhere. I used my own pen and made my way to the elevator. I did notice that the inn had an huge indoor pool and it was visible from the lobby. Anyway, I made my way to the elevator. It was very old and very small. (could hold 2 people comfortably) I got to the 3rd floor and made my way down the marijuana smoke filled hallway. It reeked. I got to my room. THE ROOM::: The room was huge and very spacious. The bathroom was huge. I liked the room,, until I got further inside. Behind the room door was a pile of pink pieces of plastic and paper and feathers from like a boa or something. It looked as if the room was host to a young girl's birthday party and afterwards, housekeeping swept everything up into the corner and left it. (I took pics) The sofa in the room had several bright green stains on it, the recliner in the room was broken and the fake leather desk chair had crumbs all over the seat so the only place to sit in the room was the bed.

If I could give this place less than one star I would. I used to work here as a housekeeper and I can tell you from first hand experience that this place is DISGUSTING and FILTHY. If you want proof then just examine the comforter, neither the comforters or the blankets under the comforters were ever washed or stripped, and the pillows themselves weren't washed either, I was told just to put pillow cases over sweat drenched pillows several times. All of little shampoo bottles are dirty and old and all of the cleaning equipment is janky, I could barely even do my job because half of the things I was told to clean with didn't even work. On my first day I asked for gloves several times and was never given any, all of the housekeepers cut corners and majority of the things are not cleaned the way they should be, but I don't blame the housekeepers for this because the management is so absolutely terrible that the housekeepers are constantly being rushed and forced to go up and down the elevators cleaning rooms while the guests wait in the lobby.

First of all this is no longer a Super 8 Motel. Not even sure what the name is now but apparently it is going to be a Red Roof Inn. This is a nice hotel if you like dirty rooms, small flat pillows, a bed that moves with the slightest movement, breakfast served and put away all before 9 am. Or you might get a bed that has metal polls sticking out of under the mattress with white tape on them so you see them and not hurt YOURSELF, and best of all is the wonderful customer service they have. When we came down with our complaints in the morning we were told to write out a complaint on printer paper and someone would get back to us in about a week. We asked to speak to a manager and also asked for a number to reach them we were refused because they (manager) would be very mad if he gave us her number. And these were our complaints and there were other guest who had major problems with no solution. I spoke to 2 other guest there each with issues. I don't fault Super 8 but they need to take this address off there site.
