For a Super 8, this was the best one we have seen. Super clean, comfortable beds, but pillows were too soft. Breakfast was ok. Staff was friendly.

BEST PLACE TO STAY IN OELWEIN! I have stayed at this hotel for years and I have never found anything but extremely flawlessly CLEAN AND SPOTLESS rooms, well prepared and stocked breakfast room, plentiful parking, BUT, the STAFF is the BEST OVERALL STAFF EVER! The MANAGER, TERRI, is the most thorough, kind, sweet, thoughtful and amazing manager I have ever dealt with. She “MOVES MOUNTAINS” for every guest that stays there! You would be silly to look elsewhere while staying in this town. You would miss out on the “BEST RELAXING, CLEAN, ENJOYABLE STAY OF A LIFETIME! ” Thank you Oelwein Super 8 — for always making my stay OUTSTANDING!

Location was nice in Oelwein. It helped that I could park closer to my room and use the side door access. The breakfast was nice. The bathroom was a little cramped. I can see myself collecting more Wyndham rewards points in the future.

Staff was friendly breakfast was decent. Was good for the low price.

Have not stayed there in awhile but it is kept up nicely.

I was not expecting to be so please with my stay at this hotel. It appears to have been recently renovated and is super clean. The beds are comfy and rooms are quite large. Staff was very pleasant. It is easily one of the quietest places I have stayed. My only complaint was that the heat was too high. Turned mine off and opened a window for a while. I have already booked 3 more nights.

The staff is very friendly and knew many of us by name. The place is well maintained and clean. I would have given 5 stars, but housekeeping took my last bag of chips.

They have the tvs blocked for the HDMIs. No amenities and breakfast is all bread and yogurt. I dont like it at all. I'm here just for work and theres nothing to do around the area. My coworker had his please do not disturb sign and they still went in.

I just spoke with the hotel manager on the phone trying to make reservations for a date this summer. They had openings for all but one of the days that I needed. The manager was so nice to help me book the nights that were available, offered to book the room for me for the missing night if something became available and even offered to call her sister hotel in Independence to hold a room for me for the extra night in case nothing opens up. She was very personable and wonderfully accommodating. I don't usually write online reviews but I have to speak up about such outstanding personal customer service! Thanks again!

Waaaaay over priced. $80 a night for a Super 8. NO WAY! Don't go to Independence IA either. Just as high!

It's nice and clean. The only drawback is breakfast. Good coffee but the food is all carbs and sugar. No real protein. Although there was apples and oranges. The only healthy choice.

The Oelwein Super 8 was clean and quiet. The beds were comfortable. The desk clerk was organized and friendly. Internet access was spotty at best. I would stay again if I found myself back in Oelwein.
