Do not go there! Susie general manager is not understanding and rips you off. 260.00 to clean a room? No!

They're letting this place slowly deteriorate in a desperate attempt to get customers by charging low rates.

What an awesome, fresh, clean and nicely designed place this is! We had a great time, the hotel was very nice, our room was very cosy and modern with all amenities present. The staff was friendly and helpful.

Only stayed one night but the room was immaculate and comfortable. Only giving it four stars because I didn't check out the rest of the hotel.

Easy access to the interstate and the University of Iowa. Backpocket Brewing within crawling home distance. Room was older, but clean. Bed was comfortable and shower was hot and steamy. Breakfast was a little light on selection but still had a lot. Hotel was quiet, and we were right by the lobby and breakfast area. We'll worth the money to stay here.

Horrible experience. From parking to a sink that backed up and over flowed. Toilet ran all night long in our room as well. Drain plug for the tub was sitting on the tub. Air conditioning unit didn't work correctly. Brought these issues to the person at the desk and he didn't seem to care. I'd give a negative rating if I could.

Good hotel with clean rooms. They're pet-friendly and close to a few nice places to eat. Hallways and bathrooms were a but dated, but nothing to complain about. Would definitely stay there again!

Room was clean, bed was comfortable, free breakfast was great. Free Wi-Fi. Indoor pool and hot tub on main floor. I loved this place!

Don't book here if you have elderly family members. Should they die, the hotel is quite clear that death does not constitute a legitimate reason to not occupy a room and they will charge you. No excuses! Your dead relative should have called from the grave. Avoid if you can as Iowa is full of far better establishments.

The rooms were very clean and nice. The staff kind of let you do whatever. I enjoyed my stay.

The staff was very courteous, and it was very clean. However, we had a few issues with the hotel itself. Our door lock was very fickle when trying to use the room keys. I went to the front desk because I thought one of the keys didn't work, but even after getting a new key we had issues. The lamp in our room between the two beds had two outlets to use, but neither of them worked. And lastly, the toilet would occasionally run very loudly, it sounded like the sink had turned on full blast. I mentioned the lamp when checking out, and the Employee that was working said they would check it out, but that she "hates those lamps" which kind of makes me think this is a recurring problem.

Amazingly welcoming, friendly, professional and accommodating staff! Room's clean and comfortable. Wi-Fi works well. Mini fridge and microwave were added plus. Good enough for a home away from home night in town for hospital business. Also friendly about my service dogs and arranged for me to have an accessible room. I'll certainly stay again! Great value.

The rooms are ok. The lobby, street accessibility, breakfast area are crowded. Be ready for a crowded breakfast area with unshowered travelers elbowing for prepacked lukewarm eggs. No fitness center. Passes to a gym 2 miles away. If you are looking for a place to crash while on the road it's OK. If you are staying for a while look elsewhere.

We stayed in this hotel traveling home from Colorado. Chose this hotel because of indoor pool and hot tub as well as allowing our dog. Check in attendant was friendly and helpful. Hotel is a bit on older side but neat and somewhat updated decor. The room was spacious and very comfy. Lots of lights and plugs which is a plus for a family of 4 with all of our power cords. We wanted to use the hot tub but did not due to a large group of loud college boys occupying it with a case of bud light and bud light cans everywhere. Not much of a family friendly hotel but I guess that’s what to be expected in a college town, maybe summer is better for families. Overall the hotel was clean and comfortable.

Needed a place to stop while road tripping. They allow dogs and were reasonably priced. It is set back from the road behind a gas station so a little tricky to find but it was quiet and the bed was comfortable. The thing that blows my mind is why only one waffle maker?

The room was clean and the staff was curious. The breakfast was very bad and the few machines did not have water. The cost was great but the parking was terrible. It was ok for a quick nights stay, but honestly, we would not stay again. The old saying, "you get what you pay for", certainly is true.

Pleasant staff and overall clean room. Negative was the shower didn't drain as you used it.

Beds were comfortable and room was clean. Would have appreciated a better stocked breakfast selection. If they ran out of something, they didn't refill it. It seemed like they were trying to be too cheap. When we arrive, a person later identified as the owner, was carrying on a very loud conversation on the phone. I couldn't understand what she was saying, but it was evident she wasn't happy. The next morning, she was standing in the breakfast buffet area watching music videos on her phone at high volume. While this isn't a big deal, it was distracting from the news playing on the TV and didn't lend itself to a relaxing breakfast.

Room amenities and feel are incongruous with rest of facility. Location seems Spartan, business center is a corner desk, pool chlorine scent saturated lobby, etc. However, room was well appointed and we'll kept. If you want a nice room, it's a good value. If you want a nice hotel, it's a bit lacking.

Just an easy 2 mile walk from Kinnick Stadium. Perfect price/location for a game weekend.

Great Place! Staff was very helpful & friendly. Whitney at front desk really helped my family, super professional & accommodating. I recommend this place if staying in the area.

MAJOR plumbing issues. The sink would randomly fill up with DIRTY water. Out of nowhere. The toilet would run at random times (which is hard to sleep through) and the tub did not drain properly. When I checked in I was asked "are you ok with being on the first floor? " I thought it was because of noise or safety. Now I wonder if the room had a red flag on it and was known to be problematic. And the most troubling part was that when I left for the day at 8:30am I asked if someone could check out the plumbing. I got back 13 hours later to realize the problem was WORSE. I just wish someone would have called to let me know that they at least TRIED to fix the problem. Disaster. Would never recommend this place.

Good basic lodging with an indoor pool. Large rooms, comfortable beds, lots. Of electrical outlets. Beware of the second floor of you have any mobility issues. There is no elevator, the stairs are at the end of the hallway. It is a hike down the hallway from the center lobby, up the stairs and down the hallway again to your room.

Worst night stay I have had on my whole trip. We travelled from Ontario to BC Canadian side and then back home thru US side. Stayed at Comfort Inn and Suites here and were given a King suite which was located next to the pool. The room smelt musty and damp. Gave us a headache. The room was next to the Ice machine and vending machines, which people were getting ice until 2-3 am keeping us awake. Ice machine was so noisy. Sound barrier between rooms was terrible. We could hear people walking upstairs and above us sounding like a ton of elephants. We were exhausted and still had a 17 hour drive home. Worst decision to stop in Iowa at this hotel. Hotel staff was not friendly at all. Keep going folks find another hotel if your looking for a place to stay.

The only major flaw I found with this hotel is that they did not have a fitness room. Also the rooms are not very sound proofed. Besides that, they have free papers, a pool, a hot tub, good breakfast and are located next to a brand new cum and go gas station, a perkins and an arby's. Overall, I would recommend it.

The room was very nice. It was very clean and the bed was comfortable. The front desk was welcoming. We booked the room at the last minute and were given a third floor room. The hotel was very busy. When we arrived we were told the elevator was out of order. The front desk apologised but as they were so busy there were no other options for us. Breakfast in the morning was full of options. We would stay here again.

The clerks were friendly, but the fact that I found a used crackpipe in my room is very disturbing. I hope I will get an official apologize, this should not happen. I am considering telling my company that I will refuse to ever sleep in a comfort inn again!

I booked ONE room at the Comfort Inn & Suites in Coralville Iowa for my husband, my daughter and myself, requesting two queen beds. This was a quick overnight trip as we were bringing my daughter to the University of Iowa Hospital for tests. We arrived after 9:00 pm and we were tired after a long drive. I signed for our room, not realizing we were given two rooms. Seriously, why would a married couple and their 11 year old daughter want two rooms. This was never brought to our attention. Additionally, he asked how many keys I wanted. I asked for two, one for me and one for my husband. He told me we were in room 317. We went to our room and went to bed. We left early the next morning for my daughter's appointment. When my credit card bill showed up we were billed for two rooms. I called to correct this and was told I had signed for two rooms. They were not willing to remove the charge for the second room. I believe they took advantage of a situation. I would never trust this place again. If I could give you 0 stars I would. What you did was sneaky and wrong!

My 16 month old son walked on the carpet for 20 minutes and his feet turned black with hair and crumbs! The first pack-n-play they gave us was broken, the second was covered in vomit. No sheet included. Stains on the bedding and sheets, and too many maintenance issues to list. Holes in the walls, crumbling walls and paint, corroded drain left unplugged with rust on the side of the tub, and a toilet that never stopped running were just a few of the issues. Don't let the online pictures fool you. This hotel is barely 2 stars and we will not stay here again.

Clean rooms, friendly staff and good breakfast.

Comfortable and updated rooms, though I was upgraded so I am not sure how the standard rooms are. Near I80 with a good number of restaurants nearby. The high speed internet tested out around 4MBps and did not seem to struggle too much.

Had reservations and was trying to get a hold of the hotel to ask a question, tried at least 5 times and no one answers the phone.

This motel is close to I80. The beds were some of the best I have EVER slept in. I wish I could have one of these beds at home! The staff was very friendly. The room was exceptionally clean. I've stayed there six times in the last three years.

What a pleasant surprise this Comfort Inn was. Not sure when it was remodeled but it is like new as of July 2015. Sharp employees and a great breakfast. Right off 80 but no highway noise.

I'd've rated this 5, but for the fact that staying here on a game weekend is so friggin expensive. That's life, though, but it's hard to beat this place. In my experiences, the rooms have been clean, the service is typically Iowan (always among friends), and the convenience of the Hawkeye Express (a/k/a the Drumk Train) on game weekends can't be beat. Two nights here are still far cheaper than the costs of a drunk driving charge. You've got some insulation from the mess that the ped mall and downtown can devolve into but still close to a bunch of restaurants and a mall, just in case you need some new clothes after food poisoning from undercooked tailgating food.
