The rooms were quiet, clean, and had all the basic amenities. Free Wi-Fi that is fast enough to catch up on work is a great perk.

They have no elevator which is extremely inconveinent but it is a nice hotel, comfortable and quiet.

Very clean and nice place to stay.

Very clean, quiet and a little off the beaten path. If ever I'm back in the area, I'll definitely stay here again.

This was a clean nice place to stay. Both the evening and morning staff were very nice. The breakfast was very good. Waffles, eggs, fried potatoes, sausage, all kinds of breads, cereals and fruit. Parking was great and I am sure we will be back. The towels were wonderful not the kind you normally get at some of there motels.

Staying here the past month for work. We asked for a different room, but every week they put us next to the stairs. Lady at the front desk is terrible. Complained that we were taking too much free breakfast.

Good cofortable beds, clean, quiet, good breakfast but was late on one of our stays, reasonably priced. Two staff were smoking at front door (close enough to touch) had to walk between them to get to inside. : (

The staff were friendly and the room was clean plus a nice size. The bed was comfortable with plenty of nice pillows. I will be staying there again.

My stay at cobblestone was nice. The staff was accommodating to my schedule with starting breakfast early.

Clean rooms and comfy beds! Bathrooms are nice too.

Pleasant front desk, clean room, comfortable bed and pillows. No ventilation in bathroom and pretty clear neighbor noises. The breakfast area looked good but we were looking for a sitter down experience which we found easily close by. While not a "destination" location, this served quite well as a stopover.

I stayed at cobblestone inn & suites located in Bloomfield Iowa and was very happy. The room was nice and clean with an exceptional bathroom. Staff was very nice and professional. It was a simple place with no pool or gym but the building was new and easy to find and very affordable.

A great little low key place. Very clean and friendly.

Going downhill. Cheaping guest more and more over time. Untrained staff. Poor guest services. Counter staff are always in one of the rooms watching TV. Big inconvenience to call them from their counter.

Nothing special. Small eating area-3 tables and breakfast didn't start until 7am on Saturday. Gave us 1 key for 3 people. Fairly clean. Friendly staff.

HORRIBLE! Stay Away! I travel frequently and this management is HORRIBLE! I had to cancel because I was stuck in a BLIZZARD and was unable to travel. I called the Hotel to cancel — I informed them I was stuck in a State Wide Blizzard and was unable to drive to Hotel. I was informed that I was being charged ANYWAY! Business must be Horrible when they need to take monies from someone who never uses their service I will NEVER deal with Hotel AGAIN!

My rooms were clean. My bed was comfortable.

FRAUD! Double billed us, tried to slip in a smoking charge of $150 (no we didn't smoke in the room). Tried to work with the staff and with booking com, but at this time, I have still been charged twice for each night I stayed there. I tried earnestly to work out with management, but they have not corrected the charges yet. The final charge on my credit bill came almost a week after we had checked out, billing us again for our stay! Yes, I have tried discussing with their management and with the booking company but no resolution yet!

I loved my stay at the Cobblestone in Bloomfield! It's a nice quality hotel in rural Iowa on par with some I've used in some cities (also better than some). I stayed for my wedding and was reuniting with some family so we took over their front lobby seating space several times. Staff didn't mind, in fact the lady vacuuming was talking with my infant nephew. The morning of my wedding they were very sweet and gave me a complimentary bottle of wine. I would stay here again without hesitation.

Very bad. Was told I would be given a night comp. To make up 4 a bad stay then told they knew nothing was remembered when tried to book. Worst customer service I have ever expierianeed in my life and I stay in hotels around the country all the time. Also told twice I would be called back no call back. Ottumwa is worth the drive. We always stay there when in town visiting family. It is always very clean and we have never had any issues.

Was left a note saying I would be charged a fee for removing my make up with anything but the designated brown towel. Understandably so. The funny thing is that I don't wear any make up. Last several times we have stayed at this hotel the manager has been up front at the desk. If you smile or try to say "Hello" to her, there is no response back, nor a smile or even a nod. The continental breakfast has also gone downhill over this past year. You have to go to South Fork restaurant just to get a decent breakfast.

BEWARE: My daughter, Granddaughter and I stayed at the Cobblestone Inn in Bloomfield Iowa on July 4th. I was charged a $50 incidental fee. I was told this would be released on check out. We had no incidents, but when I got home I checked our bank statement and found I was being charged for it! I called the Inn and was told that They could not release it, that our bank would have to do it and could take up to two weeks for it to come off. Now with all that being said the manager told me that they had no record of it being charged! If they did not charge me the $50, then how did it get on our bank statement? And how is my bank going to know if we had any incidents or not? I am totally frustrated and feel like I was robbed of $50 by someone. It really makes me sad to think this would happen in my hometown. We will not be staying there anymore! We will sleep in the car first or drive to another town if we can't find another place to stay in town. Sometimes it just doesn't pay to shop at home! ; ( Would love to be able to give this a less than zero.
