Good motel for roadtrip travellers.

Very cheap and pleasing stay! I stayed at the motel for about a week and I enjoyed it! Rooms and beds were clean. Bathrooms clean. Staffing comes in and clean up very well. Not one sign of dirtiness or bugs! Staff was also very nice and welcoming! I would definitely return!

Honestly I don't see what all the fuss was. Didn't see any issues with cleanliness or security. If you're passing through the area and you need someplace to stop to rest for the night, this definitely suits your needs. It's inexpensive and provides you with a bed, bathroom with shower and a decent amount of TV channels.

Not sure what was up with the construction/destruction at the end of the building, or the other closed motel next door (renovation or removal? ) or the closed gas station on the other side, but it made the immediate area unsightly and unwelcoming. The night clerk female (Friday 8/24) appeared be having a bad night and looked and acted unhappy to be there. I assume the couple there in the daytime is the management team (? ) ; I never interacted with them but there was very little communication between us. There was a strange vibe about the place, probably an unwelcome feeling. Surprisingly the room was very nice and reasonably clean, and that warrants a better rating than the overall 3 stars. In the current state of the building's exterior and those on both sides it's difficult to recommend to anyone unless and until the entire area is improved. Sorry, but you asked. :-)

Evening Front Desk Clerk was wonderful to us. She was so helpful and had read the notes, and had our room ready for us.

Building is in disrepair. Shady looking people hanging around entrance. Clean sheets, hot water but it says pet friendly and up to 2 dogs, I have an emotional support dog with all the paperwork and was told he counts as one of the dogs. We were traveling from Oklahoma to Ohio where we have been transferred. Driving with pets is hard enough without having to argue if you have 2 dogs and support animal or 3 dogs. Seriously? We did get a military discount but treated poorly along with my husband said the guy at the counter in the a. M. Videotaped him? What was that all about?

It was a very clean room. The water was nice and hot and the staff at the front were very accommodating. I would stay there again if I was ever in that area.

Friendly staff, clean rooms, a little noisy — rooms are not very soundproof. It would be very nice if the managers would spiff up the outside for example put flowers on flower pots, have a green grass area close so dogs can go potty there. Make it a bit more amenable.

Our room had an odor that registered somewhere between wet-dog and discount stripper (as if there's much of a difference). Not that minded so much, as I had snuck my wet dog in and was planning on doing the same with a discount stripper later in the evening. I'm not sure which continent the "Continental" breakfast was suppose to be from, but it surely wasn't one of the developed ones. The hefty, silver toothed woman working the front desk had both the appearance and custome…r service skills of an ill tempered ungulate, probably closest to a water buffalo. All in all, wouldn't recommend. Not the worst place I've ever slept, but that's not saying much (I've been to Turkey, ghastly people those Turks. )

Room was good. Hot shower. Air and a bed. All you need.

The bed was clean. The pillows were a bit too soft to my liking. The towels could use some OxiClean as all of them aren't white. Lastly, someone need to dust the top of the headboard of the bed.

Recently updated, very nice rooms. Very friendly people at the front desk. And the price is reasonable. Close to many fast food restaurants. Convenient access to the Interstate.

This was the second time we stayed here. Everything was great and newly renovated. Check in was fast and she was friendly. We will be back.

It's a Motel 6. You get what you pay for. No signs of bed bugs, and a decent location with a place to sleep. What more do you need? Prices could be lower.

Update: 4/10/2016 They changed their pet policy! They only allow 1 pet per room now, so if you have more than 1 pet, look elsewhere! ******** We were here for a week and it was a pretty good stay. We have two small dogs, and the staff wanted to clean the room at least twice during our stay, which was a problem, since I work from home and this would have been disruptive to my job. The owner Mich understood this and had the cleaning staff leave us alone as long as we kept the room clean (which we did). We really appreciated the consideration and willingness to work together to solve this issue. The microwave was broken, but the staff replaced it quickly. This motel must have gone through a renovation recently, because it is updated and very awesome. I would definitely recommend this motel to others.

Price was good. Staff was friendly. Nothing fancy but seemed clean. I always wipe everything down with bleach wipes when I travel. I'm a little OCD. HA! Only needed a bed and a shower for a quick over night stay. This motel had very thin walls. We could hear everything inside & outside. We would hear car/trucks running or drive by the motel. We could hear our neighbors next door talking for several hours into the night. Other than that, our stay was just fine for what we needed.

The night clerk was friendly and helpful when I checked in. The rooms here are accessed from an inside hallway. I had a second floor room. Around 1:30 in the morning someone was outside in the hallway loudly knocking on one of the doors. They were also calling someone's name. Around 3am or so, they repeated knocking on the door and calling someone's name. The door to my room was not soundproof at all, so both these instances woke me up. This did not make for a restful sleep. The room floor was slightly sticky. The tub had not been scrubbed thoroughly, as there was still someone's plastic razor cover in the tub. When I left in the morning, the morning desk clerk was sullen and not friendly; it was a little creepy. I won't be staying there again.

Pretty cozy motel 6. It's not extravagant but the rooms are clean and it stays relatively quiet even when they have a full house. The rate was decent if you're looking to pay between $60-$70 per night. For anyone with pets, they ARE pet friendly… plus there's no additional charge IF you declare them during check-in! Parking can be a squeeze by the office, but there is additional parking just across from the entrance. Restaurants and stores are within a mile. Just off the highway. Thumbs up guys!

Great place to stop over on a long trip especially when your pet is with you. Clean and friendly. This was our 4th time staying here.

Great price and this location is super clean. Would deffinately recommend. I have seen some that are in urban areas that were filthy, but this location is wonderful. No problems here.

Pets stay free. Place is clean. Mini fridge and microwave in room. Heater (or a/c) can be set to constant fan, so it helps block any noise. I wish the walls were a little thicker, but I didn't hear neighbors much like you do at other cheap motels. The front desk is person is very nice and friendly. I only wish there was free breakfast and a TV guide in the room. For the price and free pets though, 5 stars.

Staff could be more friendlier. They charge enough to at least have some kind of breakfast. The rooms are clean and cozy.

Definitely a no frills place to stay. Minimal, has soap, clean towels, but no shampoo or conditioner. The room has a fridge and micro wave. Nice. No breakfast foods, but coffee. For the money it is a good no frills place to stay.

I went to the bathroom in room 249 around 2 am. Looked down and there was a lot of roaches on the floor and in the bath tub. I walked out the bathroom to see if I saw any more outside of the bathroom and there was! I turned the lights on and of course they scattered. Immediately I pack my bags to request another room. Of course they have no more available rooms. I ask could I at least get a refund for my purchase. The desk rep stated “I can not do that sir it is close to 3 am. ” Which is correct but I would expect to at least leave a note of some sort. So I asked him what he expected me to do?! He stated “just turn the lights off my manager will be here by 7am they will not bother you and my manager can give you another room in the morning. ” I replied “well that’s f***** up if you expect me to stay in that room while it has roaches in it. ” He shrugged at me and I proceeded to walk out. I have never experienced this before I usually read reviews about places and I really didn’t do that before coming here but I completely learned my lesson with this place. I can’t speak on all other rooms but this room in particular I can say I visually saw a lot of roaches in the room when I woke up to use the bathroom.

Room is cleaner than any other Motel 6 that I have ever been. It has a microwave and a small fridge as well. One downside is: At the back side of the hotel there is a parking lot for trucks. It is loud with running trucks during night time. As soon as we entered the room I realized the truck noise and asked for a room change. Clerk was very nice to help me out. She changed the room but I had to pay more because she told me the rooms which are looking to front area are more expensive than the ones which are looking to back. I normally stay maybe 10 to 15 times in a year at different locations of Motel 6. I have never experienced something like paying a different price because of the location of the room. Originally I wanted to stay in a room with a king sized bed but front sized of the hotel didn't have a room available with a king sized bed so we had to take the room with two full sized beds by paying extra because of the location of the room. We were not too happy but it is what it is.

Clean room, easy breezy stay with our 2 cats. Staff very friendly. All the amenities I expect for the low rates. On a cross country move, I appreciate saving money, I have my own shampoo. The major problem is the thin walls. You can hear your neighbors' phone conversations and kids down the hall screaming. Water pressure in the shower was horrible.

The room was clean and orderly. The second bed was missing a top blanket linen, but the frontdesk fixed it immediately without fuss. Quiet atmosphere, with plenty of places nearby to deliver food. And the beds were actually very comfortable with big fluffy pillows.

I found your motel clean and well kept. The people at the front desk were very businesslike and helpful. The location was very convenient for my visits in Edwardsville and St. Louis.

Man, it's not the cleanest place. Grime on top of the shower edges, filthy light switches, vinyl room flooring in desperate need of mopping if examined, and a dirty blanket with obvious stains. Basically they have racoons do their housekeeping. It's also not quiet. It's a trucker Haven and their idling rigs sit out your window and vibrate your bed and eardrums all night. I can hear the next guy snoring his brains out, so the trucks aren't bothering HIM, at least. There is also a loud bang when the fridge kicks on and off. The people seemed nice enough and aside from needing to wear flip flops and body condoms it was alright, honestly. No bugs or bloodstains. Finally, and this is really good… The AC was amazing. I'd stay here again if I had to. It's pet friendly and cost effective, but I might ask to see the room first to make sure they'd hired new housekeeping.

I get it. It's a motel 6. Don't expect a 5 star hotel. This was something different. People walking around barefoot was something I could get over. There was no shampoo or conditioner for you. Worst part — the sink water smelled like actual waste. I brushed my teeth with a bottle of water that I had THANK God beforehand. It's your classic motel where you don't feel safe, which is fine, however, there's a serious problem with the smell of the room of itself on top of the sewage issue.

You get what you pay for. I visited 3 locations in my cross country trek. All facilities are well worn and in need of updating and deep cleaning. The first stay in Albuquerque was the worst, noisy and dirty. The bed linen was suspect. No, I did not sleep on the bed. The second night in Oklahoma was slightly better. I did doze on too of the covers. Using my own sheet. The staff here were very friendly and helpful, they deserve kudos for customer service. The final leg was marginally better at least this room had a small fridge and microwave. The best thing that can be said about each property is the water is hot.

This hotel has a beyond nasty policy (so they say…) I went into the restroom in my room and there was dirty towels (from the previous guest) (they were getting crusty) Raven took them up to the desk (another guest was having to do the same thing) the clerk, who needs to get out of the hospitality industry, said (when asked why there were dirty towels) that was their policy that the new guests take the previous guests' laundry to the desk. Uh… policy or just laziness? Not to mention I will sleep in my car next time…

I liked it very much and the front desk attendant was helpful and knowledgeable about her town ave surrounding areas.

Honestly it's not a 5 star motel. But cheap nice clean dog and truck friendly. Honestly we stay here any time we're in St Louis. It's also quiet. I highly recommend for truckers. Someone will piss and moan no matter what it's like.

Nasty place will not honor online prices on the app or our companies discount cards like they say they do my room smells like a dirty dog as well wash ur bed spreads ur a rip off should have went to motel 8 cleaner by far.

I do not recommend. We arrived at 4am on 6/30/16. I had my husband check in while I dealt with the kids. I'd driven all night so he could rest because He had to work in just 2 hours. He just rented the room for one night but we were staying 2. (And ultimately much longer after the holiday weekend) he left for work and the kids and I slept. At 11 we get a call for check out. I let him know we were staying another night but our refrigerator didn't work. He proceeded to tell me "I didn't charge you for a refrigerator. " Furious I packed our things and left. We hung out around town until my husband got off. He was tired so we went ahead and just stayed here again. This morning 7/1/16 I went to the front desk to to discuss what had happened the day before. The lady was no more friendly than the man the day before. She tells me the refrigerator did work (it did not) and that I was charged for the room rate not a refrigerator, and that I checked out at 12. However I rented another room meaning if the refrigerator had worked I wouldntb have checked out at all. Undoubtedly that little place that says mini kitchen on the website lies. She proceeded to be less than friendly and in no way apologetic UNTIL I informed her she hadn't lost a customer for only one night. My husband will be here through September if not longer. Several crew members stay here but not all of them. We will not be one who does. I did let her know she hadn't lost a potential customer for not 1 night but over 100.

For what it is — a discount hotel off the freeway — it was surprisingly good! It was late at night when we got a last minute reservation. Exterior facade looked a bit sketchy, but the interior was neat and clean. Bare laminate floors rather than carpet were fantastic b/c it meant less allergens. Mini frig & microwave in the room was a welcome surprise, esecially with a bargain hotel. Front desk staff (husband & wife? ) was pleasant & efficient getting us quickly booked, as we were exhausted.

We were skeptical at first because of the incredibly low cost, but it turned out to be really nice. The staff was very friendly and helpful the whole time. The rooms were pretty clean and the bed was huge and really comfortable. Would stay here again if in the area.

We love this hotel. We have stayed here twice and we know we will be back. The owners are very nice as well as is the night clerk. Lots of truck parking, good restaurants within walking distance, great price, comfortable beds, many cable channels and nice tv, shower was wonderful. I wish they would get an auto setting on the heat/ac unit and get new towels but otherwise a fine place to rest your head.

It was just fine. Cheap. Not noisy. Clean. Not too many people were staying there at the same time. Rather poor "breakfast" but none actually expected. Coffee did suffice.

Very nice motel, no problems here. The lady at the front desk was pleasant, friendly and fun to talk to. The room was comfortable, clean and quiet. The beds were very comfortable. Nice place to cozy down in on a cold winter night. Great price too. No complaints here at all.

It was a very nice room for the price. The front desk was very nice and they were very courteous. I was also pleased to see that the room thermostat functioned very well, it's very hard to come by at a lot of hotels.

For motel 6 that is very modern looking, it is fresh and clean looking it is also bare bones as you would expect for the price.

Hallway smells of paint, voices yelling, dogs barking, room reeks of cannabis. Poor service. Was told online the rate was 52 after tax, the worst motel employee charged me 76. Also my room has a previous guest toiletries and towel in the bathroom.

Clean room and bathroom, everything good!, but they dont have hot tea ( ( (

Staff was friendly very affordable hotel lots of truck parking clean quiet rooms. I was suprised at how comfortable the beds actually were. It doesn't have decorations but if you want decor you can go across the street and pay double.

Found used towels in the cabinet under the sink, the smell was god awful and to top it off had to call 911 on a guy that had laying on the sidewalk with blood all over him at the apartment complex 100 ft from hotel and then seen him in the am doing laundry at this hotel! And the women at the front desk apparently we're friends! Stay away! Nastest hotel I've ever stayed at!

No complimentary toiletries. The room was clean and the bed pretty comfortable. However, when I called to report that our toilet was not working right, I was told to go down to the desk and pick up the plunger! I have never been asked to fix my own plumbing before. The staff did finally fix it, after agreeing with a rather sour attitude.

Not too shabby. Very friendly staff. Cleaner on the inside than it looks on the outside. What can you expect for $40. Didn't get crabs.
