This was my second time staying here. I cannot say enough good things! Service, breakfast and rooms were excellent! Everything is remodeled! Friendly staff, clean and comfy beds! Highly recommend if you are in the area!

I want to say thank you to Wendy and the kind folks at the Country Inn. When the Wi-Fi went down in our neighboring town, and I had an important meeting to prepare for, they welcomed me right away to their inn — made a lovely private office for me out of their breakfast lounge and offered me fresh coffee on the hour — no questions asked. When Wi-Fi was still out late into the evening, they made sure to set aside a nice clean, quiet room for me at the Inn to continue working. My sincere thanks to the thoughtful staff!

I've stayed at a lot of hotels, and this by far, is one of my favorites. Everyone was so friendly, they were VERY accommodating, it was quaint and quiet. The pool / hot tub hours were great. It was just very relaxing.

The decor maybe a little dated, but the rooms are clean and spacious. The beds are very comfortable. The staff is friendly. The facilities — including the fitness room and indoor pool — are well-maintained. And your stay includes a complimentary hot breakfast and free Wi-Fi. Best of all is a great channel line-up on the TVs — a better line-up than I've seen in many a 4-star hotel.

Their sign was gone on the hotel. They said the siding was on back order. A little out of date hotel but like the rest of the reviews it was clean and Jay was awesome at trouble shooting and helping out. They said that they were at maximum capacity. It didn't look or feel like it. It was kinda wierd but honestly so is the town. Overall I can't complain. Has a nice pool, hot tub, and breakfast.

The beds were very comfortable. Nice continental breakfast. Clean and just what we needed.

The location is reasonable and not that close to a busy area, the rooms were clean and tidy, and the service was as expected and on time.

Extremely disappointed! Went out to the hotel with my boyfriend in hopes for a swim at around 9:30 at night. I live in Stockton and I've come just to swim many times before, had a great time, and I've even had a room there once as well. I showed up on a Sunday night and there were maybe 5 cars outside. I stood at the front counter for a couple minutes to be rudely confronted by the desk lady (who happens to be my father's ex-girlfriend's daughter) who said, "I don't know if you guys know this but we don't accept anyone for swimming any time after 10pm and it's 9:30, especially because of all the outside traffic. " I couldn't believe what I had just heard considering she knew that I was from town, the hotel didn't seem busy at all, and I even came half an hour early just to relax after a long day. Whoever manages the place should reconsider who they have at the front desk if they want to keep my business because that girl kicked my boyfriend and me out only because she didn't want to deal with us. Such a crappy excuse! If you are a local and coming just for a soak when you work till late hours of the night, don't even bother! I'm disgusted!

The hotel has a friendly helpful staff. The room and common spaces were clean. The bed was comfortable. They have a nice indoor pool and hot tub. The breakfast was hot and adequate. The decor is dated but at this price point it was fine.

It was a very nice place. The only issue I had at all was that the bed was a little hard for my taste. The pool is nice but a little small. Both just my opinion. The staff was very nice and very accommodating to us. It was a very relaxed setting. I really like the fact that even the side entrance was covered and had almost like a front porch feel.

Got caught in a horrible zero visibility fog 15 miles from home the other night. Stayed here and took a mini overnight vacation. Very clean, safe and the staff is so nice. Highly recommend!

I stayed last night at the Country Inn & Suites in Stockton, IL. And all I can say is "Wow! " Another great word to describe this place is "Charming. " Located in a very peaceful area. There are not a lot of eating options, but there is a Subway across the parking lot. There is also a reasonably priced grocery store if you want to purchase grocers and take them back to the hotel. The rooms do provided a refrigerator and microwave. Before you even enter the hotel, the first thing you notice is the very folksy front porch complete with a table and several chairs. Once we entered, we were immediately welcomed and helped by the very friendly woman behind the counter. The interior of the lobby is as folksy as the front porch. On the first floor, you also have an indoor pool, workout room and the dining area where they offer their complimentary breakfast. The rooms are not fancy, but very welcoming. The place is clean and the beds are very comfortable. The room offers plenty of drawer and closet space. And, because of the very quiet area, I can almost guarantee a very peaceful sleep. One of the best perks of the room is the really spacious bathroom and shower. The Country Inn & Suites in Stockton, IL. Is a great place to stay.

The room was great. We had a suite (can't remember if it was because that is what I booked or if we indeed were upgraded) and it was clean and comfortable, with what looked to be mostly new furniture. The only thing was the shower setup, where it was impossible not to flood the floor with water due to the curtain's sole purpose of maintaining modesty, foregoing it's responsibility for holding in the water. Still, everything was nice; we had a quiet stay and slept wonderfully. Would recommend.

Flying in from Los Angeles, I wasn't sure what to expect from Country Inn. In a word, amazing. The front desk staff went above and beyond. They were able to accommodate an additional night for me and made it so easy. They Inn itself is immaculately clean and backs up to a corn field which being a city slicker, I found amusing/enjoyable. Open windows, crickets chirping, best sleep ever. 5 stars and I'd stay again!

Nice place had to deliver a pizza to one of the rooms. Room seemed nice.

Overall this place had great customer service. The manager was very polite and knowledgeable of everything in the area. The room was very clean and above standard for a last minute pricing. My favorite part was the hot tub! After a long days hard work that hot tub will take all the pain away. Thank you to everyone at the country inn!

We stayed at this location for a wedding. I booked the whirlpool suite for two nights online. It turns out the suite was booked already on the first night, but to compensate we were given a highly discounted rate, they moved our belongings for us to the new room, and left a complementary bottle of local wine. On top of that, the place is small enough that the staff recognizes you. That's fantastic customer service.

This place is super clean, very friendly and has a great breakfast! My employees and I have stayed there several times. I have no complaints what-so-ever. Plus, conveniently located next to a grocery store, Dollar General, Subway, gas station and a wonderful sit down restaurant. Whatever you need, it is within walking distance.

We were stranded in a blizzard and were able to make it to the hotel (along with everyone else). They had no rooms available, but were letting people stay in their lobby and breakfast room. They even allowed people to pull their pool lounge chairs in the breakfast room to sleep on. They opened their breakfast food and juice so people could help themselves to whatever they wanted. They never asked for a dime more. We were finally able to get a room due to a cancellation. They didn't price gouge for the rooms. The rooms were clean and comfortable. Colleen, the night shift mgr let people use their dryers for their wet clothes and even let people, who didn't have rooms, shower. The ladies at the front desk in the morning (I think Nancy and Wendy) patiently answered the phones that were ringing off the hook and questions from people who kept walking up to the desk. Mainly about road conditions, which they did their best to find out the answers. They were also great about being a point of contact for the fire department and sheriff's office who were trying to get people back to their stranded vehicles. The most important thing they NEVER lost their positive attitudes through the whole ordeal. We will be forever greatful.

BEST B&G IN TOWN! After a quality night's sleep on the moth eaten beds, a nice steamy plate of B&G will perk you right up! The bandaid was like a touch of home, and convienly located, considering I was so excited to tear into my B&G that I accidentally bit my own thumb off! Thanks County Inn.
