Brand new rooms and no problems here. Had fun at pool.

I reserved a room an hour away after driving 12 hours from Maryland to Saint Charles. Upon arriving in Saint Charles my travel plans had changed and I called to cancel my room. The Manager informed me my credit card was billed and he was not returning my money. I drove to speak with the manager again which he said he was not returning my money and proceeded to call the police when I got upset and stated this was highway robbery. I have a right to cancel especially after traveling 800+ miles and My plans changed. Not only did I have an employee with me, but my 14 year old daughter. I was billed 363.89 on my credit card for a room I didn’t want to stay in from a phone call an hour away from my arrival. My plans changed and I have a right to cancel especially when I am 12 hours away from home. Embarrassing to me in front of my daughter and my employee. Shame on you for treating me like you did and I call it stealing my money. The response from corporate who I sent an email to responded with this is our policy. I will never use a Holiday Inn Express after this experience. Highway robbery at it’s finest. Sad, but true what happened, I was billed for a service not rendered and $363.89 Out of my pocket. Sad and Mad.

Clean comfortable rooms. Spent three days while waiting for furniture. Everything was close by and convenient.

Walked down stairs to the front desk and the lady working was speaking Spanish on her headphones. (I think her name was Brenda? Had a orange shirt on didn’t really look like staff). She did not even acknowledge me until she was finished with her private phone call and had me waiting for a few minutes. She had her iPhone head phones in so I know it was not work related. Very unprofessional if you ask me. For the high rate you are paying here I would expect more professional service. Also the AC was barley working in my room. Will not recommend or stay here again…

Comfy bed and an awesome breakfast! Water pressure on third floor was so-so but rooms were clean and had everything we needed. Recently remodeled and very nice and decorated with super friendly staff. Good location by Chili's and Olive Garden. Would definitely stay here again and highly recommend this hotel if in the area.

Loved the fitness room. Beds were very comfortable. Front desk was on point. And loved the free breakfast. It wasn't just cheap hold over food.

My experience here was AWESOME! My family and I enjoyed everything especially the new beds!

A great experience, my best Holiday Inn stay! It's my 3rd time staying in St. Charles and this is the best hotel I have stayed in for sure. The staff are lovely, the room is very new and has everything you could need. The fitness suite is perfect, not too big, but has all you need to get a good workout in. The hotel has been recently done up, so everything is new and they went to every effort to make it top class. Also, the free breakfast is very good, cereals, juice, fruit, eggs and all day coffee! What more can you ask for, while getting it a great price! There are a few restaurants within walking distance too. Highly recommend this place.

Clean, modern design. Breakfast had an egg white veggie omelet option which was surprisingly very flavorful. For this price this hotel is an especially great option. Also, the front office staff (Brenda) was extremely courteous and genuine — hardworking as well. Overall great experience.

Enjoyed my stay, and probably the best Holiday Inn experience for me in a long time. Property was very clean and modern, and the manager who checked me in was very courteous, even wanting to know what else could have been done to make the experience better. The room was great, more spacious than I expected and was very comfortable. There was a large group in that evening, and he was nice enough to put me at the other end of the building. Will certainly stay here again!

Hotel with sports corner, bath, breakfast lounge. Neat and clean appearance, room with bathtub, flat screen, two double beds, floor carpet. Choice of limited breakfast compared to other hotels, for the rest no worries until now.

Place was very clean and food was good. New updates look great and staff was good.

Pros: Room was clean. Nice staff. Cons: No HD TV. Pictures were fuzzy. Huge gap under the door. You can hear everthing in the hallway. Someone was vacuuming at 7:30pm. Shower water pressure is very weak. Wasn't a bad experience. Just not my best Holiday Inn experience.

Great service, clean rooms, free breakfast, access to computer and printer, heated indoor pool, fitness center. Location is within 10 minutes of downtown Geneva. Would stay there again.

Stayed for business. Clean hotel, friendly staff. Breakfast was never ready at start time, which was disappointing if you're starting the day early.

Great place since the 2year rework. Beds Great Room Clean. I go every November for 3 day show. Breakfast time is a little later then before. In the room I had this time was a suite very nice Lighting was poor in kitchen area But over all very good Experience Thanks!

Room is nice but there is NO HOT TUB OR BATHTUB. I searched the website to make sure they had 1 or the other but could not find any info on it. Would be nice to let your guest know there is not hot tub that is the reason we decided to stay at a hotel for the night I could of saved 120$ and took a shower at home.

This Holiday Inn was recently renovated and has a great overall look. The staff is very friendly and courteous. My room had a lot of space. The bed was very comfortable. This location is conveniently located near several restaurants. I have stayed here several times and will stay again if I am in the area.

Probably my favorite holiday inn I've stayed at. New beds and great bathroom were my highlights.

Rooms are nice and clean. The king bed was super comfortable and I could smell the freshness of the bed linen and towels. The shower was a nice size but the water pressure was not strong enough.

The interior of the hotel and rooms were beautiful and comfortable. The room was affordable and breakfast was delicious. The only negative we found was that the pool was quite small and a little chilly. We would definitely book here again!

New decor. Nice towels. Clean and comfortable. Rooms have fridge, coffee and microwave. Friendly staff.

The service is really good, I checked in at 11pm and the gentleman at the front desk had all my stuff ready so I didn't have to wait around to check in. This is a new hotel and is updated inside out. I noticed the hallways are light up really well. There's a great restaurant across the road, Cooper's hawk that has amazing wine!

If I could give it a zero I would! All photos are computer generated, outside doors are not secured (can simply be pulled open), ants and spiders, no fire exit information in some rooms, housekeeping doesn't come until 5 pm, a hotel employee used a key and walked into our room (no knock, nothing) then didn't identify self and ran out, no soap in hall bathroom, no hair dryer, no cookies, no water cups, water fountains have "maintenance needed" signs flashing, employees hang out in groups of 3-4 in lounge doing nothing.

No hot tub. Since remodel place looks really nice. Great job rooms are very updated. Breakfast area was nice. Lots around as far as eating.

This was an older hotel that has been totally rehabbed by the holiday inn express. All new furniture and decor in room. I had a king suite and the work desk is right when you walk in. Most desks are at the other end by the air. Nice to work without the air blowing on you. Bed was super comfortable and breakfast was great as always. Will be back most definitely.

Once into the hotel room, there was water all over the entryway floor and the bathroom. Was issues a new room. The new rooms refrigerator, once the compressor would kick in, it made a loud noise so I had to unplug it and could use it to chill my drinks. The Wi-Fi connection was horrible, always cutting out the connection. Maintenance was doing work on a door to the entryway to the pool where they left debris next to the door such as pieces of metal and screws laying at the floor of the walkway, not sage for those barefoot found into the pool area. Then as I was leaving there was construction being performed on the parking lot and a guy was using a blower a couple feet from my car kicking up dirt and debris that covered my car which reunited in a soon car wash. This place is poorly managed and I could not even speak to a manager on duty, that day, a Saturday of all days to discuss all of these issues. Stay away from this place.

A very delightful staff and calm atmosphere. Minding the construction it was a wonderful time.

It was a really good hotel, but It's going through major renovations right now. It's not the same. The hot tub is closed, there is only one ice machine, and the 3rd floor is really hot and smells like cigarettes. Their breakfast is still good though. I would recommend going there after the renovations are done.

They're doing some major construction to most of the hotel. Very good breakfast. Very nice front desk staff. Good night rest.

This was a recommended hotel. Upon booking the hotel we were not notified that this hotel was under major renovation. The lobby was was boarded up, the hot tub did not work, the pool looked dirty, the elevator was filthy with construction materials and smelled of urine, the hallways to the rooms were filled with drywall dust all over the carpet. The rooms were covered with drywall dust as well and the view out of our window was of construction scaffolding. In the end, the front desk refunded our money and we checked out of this hotel shortly after checking in.

They are very good Hotel and they have good deals I will recommend a couple of my friends to that hotel they will treat you good thanks to jeff and his crew you guys are the best.

It was great except for the fact that they were doing construction on half of the hotel at the time we were staying there.

Absolutly nothing… we showed up and thought the place was closed. No lights… scaffolding all around the building. We went in, got our key, went to our room and the heating and AC unit was ripped out of the wall with bare wiring. They reluctantly gave us a room that wasnt to be remodeled. It should have been. Carpet was ripped, holes in the wall and the bathroom door actually locked you in the bathroom. To top it off I saw a picture of there pool on there website. There pool was half the size and green and murky with algae. Of course they wouldnt give us any discount they said because we booked online. What a dump! never again.

WHAT YOU SHOULD KNOW… They are repairing the roof and dont tell you when checking in, which rooms are affected by the banging. I had to request a different room due to the constant pounding 7am to 7pm. The new room was just okay. At least they had white linen on the bed. What I didnt like was the huge patch in the bathroom ceiling that wasn't painted, the dirty floor under the sink, and the dirty carpet with spots.

Breakfast is never ready at 6:00 am as scheduled. Late every morning I've been here.

I've been coming here on business for close to 15 years. It's got a great location for restaurants and bars, rooms are clean, better than average (hot) breakfast and the staff is the best. Starting to show signs of age but this is the most comfortable place in town.

We recently attended a wedding in St. Charles, and stayed here for 2 nights. We loved it. What's not to love? We had fast Wi-Fi, extremely comfortable beds with dreamy sheets and pillows, amazing hot breakfasts, and a staff that was very friendly and helpful. The staff helped us to navigate the area with maps and they suggested great sites, restaurants, and of course the fabulous French Market on Sunday morning. We understand this hotel is under new ownership, and we congratulate management on a job very well done.

Real service with a genuine smile. They always seem to know your name on seeing you, that impressed me considering they were always so busy.

The fist time my husband and I went to this hotel was on the night of our wedding and it was a very good experience! The room was nice and clean and the staff was very friendly. The second time we stayed here the staff was very rude they had a problem with us staying becaue we were not 21, even though we went there on our wedding night. After the manager said it was okay, the receptionist still had a major attidude. Other than the occasional foul staff member, I would recommend this hotel.
