Tried to book a room and the new owner doesn’t want to rent to any locals because someone had smoked in the rooms. I tell them it’s only me and my son and we don’t smoke. I guess they won’t have much business.

This place is really clean and quiet. Even during remodeling. I got to have my little dog with us. I will stay there again.

I stayed here with my softball team. The hallways smelled like a combination of pee and smoke, and as soon as you walked into the room, there was an awful smell. This was probably because the huge trash bins were right outside our window, then again, every room in the hotel smelled like this. We tried booking three rooms with two beds, but none were available, so we had to stay in rooms with one bed and a pull out couch. Inside the pull out couch we found a rolled up sheet stained with red/brown spots. We also found a blanket with a stain on it, so we returned it to the front desk. The worker took it in the back and returned with what we assumed to be another blanket. We got back to the room and found that they had returned the same blanket with the stain to us, without cleaning it. There were men right outside our window having a barbecue until around 2 am. Housekeeping never came to clean our rooms, so I had to fix the bed after two nights of sleeping on it. When I did, I found that the mattress was a light brown color with dark brown stains all over it. Lastly, at breakfast, they never come to restock anything, and some of the bagels are rock hard and very old. Save yourself and stay somewhere else.

We have stayed at Comfort Inn at Peoria, Illinois for the last 6 times and they have very good. This weekend as we were leaving to checkout for the dog show, my grandson was taking his 3 dogs out to potty. One of the help came running out after him to tell him notorious use grassy area west of the door. He was told to go over north. That could have been ok if people that were outside playing at night would have picked up trash, chicken wing bones etc. My grandson is very well aware of how to take of dogs when putting. We normally stay on the east and he goes out there and pick up after them. But there is construction now. Never has anyone told us where or where not to go. We like going there but you treat the people that frequent there thatway, maybe we need to find a different place! Really disappointed. Would love to have someone call me back!

Stopped in for an overnight stay. Rooms were very comfortable and quiet. Staff were friendly and helpful.

The room should have been closed until redo. The smell was horrible. The pillows were bad. Workers things made it difficult to find a way on the side door. Parking lot full of holes and deep cracks.

Sadly my experience here was less than par. The room had a musty smell and the staff wasn't friendly, had to spend another night in town. Got a room at a better hotel. Won't be back.

The people running the counter were amazing. I was there for a meeting and they had no problems with us being there and not having a room.

Nice place, big room, pet friendly. Would definitely stay there again.

The front desk clerk that checked us in was awesome! Our room Was bit small but comfortable, tub was very slippery and water pressure not that great, but overall we had a nice stay.

Nice clean room, very friendly staff, good continental breakfast. I will stay here again. I have they four stars because the hotel really could use a remodel.

It's okay the rooms are clean very comfortable but the pool is very small it goes down to four feet and there's no hot tub but the people that work there are very nice I really prefer this.

It's really hard to recommend this place. The space is so-so and is in need of updating. The primary issue with this place is that things go missing. We came back to a turned down room with a missing phone charger and medicine. I do not recommend this place.

Hotel was great, room was clean and staff was more than pleasant. Slight snafu with the room, we were first given one that was already occupied and that was quickly handled and just as easily becomes one of those funny stories you get when you take a trip. Breakfast was standard hotel fare but good. The food was kept full and was kept free of mess. As things were running low or ran out they were refilled or replaced. Had the opportunity to speak with several of the staff members and all were very nice, pleasant and happy to help with anything we needed. We would most definitely stay at this hotel again the next time we are down in Peoria.

Amazing service, Brittney was the clerk there and did a wonderful job. Great attitude, very clean hotel. Saved a lot of money here and they do breakfast in the morning. Best clerk ever.

Was there about a month ago. My furnace went out so got a room for the night. When I arrived at the room the security latch was out. So the room was not secure. I mentioned it to the clerk. She said cleaning people do this all the time. I explained I felt it was. A major security issue in this day and age. The next morning we went down and there were no waffles. Was told the refrigerator was broken. Then later told they were getting things together for waffles. I wrote Comfort suites a letter to their website. I was never contacted back again. The waffles were a minor inconvenience. But the security issue is a major concern. I saw two young men who were obviously intoxicated. What if they were waiting in the room for someone. Bad security. Very bad.

Our stay was great at a great value. However we were on the 2nd floor. Apparently the first floor rooms have dampness, mold and smells bad. We did not notice any of this from our room. If you can be guaranteed a 2nd floor room I would stay here again.

Comfort Suites Peoria Illinois is a good place to stay for a visit to that city. We stayed over night for a concert and luncheon ride on the Spirit of Peoria. It was very convenient to our destination. There is a homemade ice cream shop in a restored building to the right as you exit the boat. I recommend it, too!

The staff was ok, there's a smell in the hallway on the first floor, my room 118 smelt very damp, went to go by plug-in air fresheners and can spray freshness also, mattress smelled, sprayed it down with freshener also line with towels, didn't notice that they didn't change sheets until every third day I had a nosebleed and when they made up the bed the sheets were still messed. They could at least made exception for for that day.

They had a room when everyone else on the route was sold out. Bonus points for a clean room and air conditioning! Humid, though, But not the Hotel's fault. :) Plenty of space, amazing breakfast, awesome and polite staff. This is now my chain of choice! Kind of hard to find, so get good directions before you start your trip.

Very nice hotel overall. The staff was very friendly. I used. The fitness room which had a few exercise machines and some of the heavier free weights which was really nice. The pool is fairly nice (but only 3 to I think 4 feet deep and was in use when I went down, so I didn't use it). The breakfast was yummy. They had some sausage gravey and biscuits as well as scrambled eggs, yogurt, bagels, bread, cereal, donuts, fruits, and make your own waffle things.

I had a really comfortable stay for 1 night here. The bed was very comfortable and the staff was friendly and helpful. Todd checked me in and he was great. My only complaint is that the walls are a little thin. I could hear someone in the room next to me snoring. But I have a white noise app on my phone and after I turned that on it was fine. Would stay here again.

Nice pool. Adequate rooms. Staff seemed friendly enough. There isn't much to compain about. It's pretty good for it's price.

It was nice for one night with my friends, but I probably wouldn't go there again. The room was nice and big and had two Queen beds and a pullout couch and an okay bathroom. There was a small red spot on the floor that was quite disturbing/unsanitary/questionable/shady that made us all want to leave.

My company and I have gone here since I can remember for training. After this visit we will no longer be using this establishment. Before I arrived my boss had confirmed that I would have no issues getting into my hotel, he had already sent the credit card authorization form to this hotel. Upon arriving I told the woman at the front desk that I, needed to check in and gave her my name. She then asked for my ID and a credit card. I told her that there is a credit card on file, and she persisted that it was not on file. I told her I needed to call my boss and that he would get it taken care of. My boss had called the manager and spoke to her, the manager had hung up on him, after I returned the woman at the front desk was very rude. "Initial here, here and sign here. " while with a nasty attitude. While the guest before me she was polite as could be. The manager had come out to look for the authorization form, all the while they were arguing with each other. This was not a pleasant experiance, and my company and I will be looking for other hotels to stay at.

Rooms are great and I love the whole place is non-smoking. Only issue is they are waiting on some permit so breakfast is very limited to pastries, fruit, cereal, granola bars, and juice.

This hotel is in dire need of a renovation. However, the rooms are clean and the beds are comfy. The second floor's carpet is loose and a trip hazard.

The staff at this hotel was very rude and unhelpful. We were looking forward to enjoying to the pool but it was really dirty and needed to be cleaned. The electricity was out in the morning so the continental breakfast was only cereal. I would not recommend staying here at all.

Very nice, clean. Not flashy fancy. Temperature was comfortable. Staff friendly and good free breakfast including waffles, eggs & bus biscuits and gravy. Very nice quiet place.

Rooms were spacious and clean, comfortable beds and pillows. The location was a little difficult to find if you're not familiar with the area, but was conviently located a few miles from the expo gardens, and not too far from Bradley's campus.

Can't place to stay. Nothing fantastic! Rooms could be brighter. Toilet had rust stains. Breakfast offend we not restocked.

My daughter and I found the rooms to be clean and nicely furnished. Their comp breakfast had a full array of offerings with a variety of extras. Very nice hotel. The staff however behaved distant and cold. Not exactly rude but certainly unfriendly and not the warm welcome that would have put us at ease. We give the hotel a four star but staff a 2 only.

Nice room and good breakfast, no complaints!

My two night stay was the worst hotel stay in my life. I was in room 100 and other guests were very noisy. I called the front desk twice, once around 12:15 am and again around 3:00 am The noise continued through the night. Children running in the hall. Running up and down stairs near my room. I wanted another room and was told only vacancy was on the upper level (husband has trouble with stairs). Upon checkout I was then told a room was available on the lower level. If this was true, someone from the staff should have called me and informed me of the available lower level room. The hotel staff said they couldn't offer me a free night stay because I booked through Hotwire. I will never stay their again.

It was a good hotel although it looked like it was closed when we pulled up.

Location is surrounded by other hotels, but this was a great rate for king size suite.

It was okay. Better than most places I've stayed in Peoria.

Staff was very friendly, room was clean. Only stayed one night, but it was a fine place to spend the night.

The room is nice and clean. The parking is set up in a way that you may feel unsafe and secluded. While there the pool room was freezing and when asking the front desk they were not help. My son and wife can handle the cold but this was freezing. Room is great, everything else, not so much.

I love my job as a hostess great place.

Got in late & the staff was welcoming & courteous. The bed was comfortable, the breakfast was complimentary & the hotel was clean.

Older hotel, walls pretty thin you can hear conversations in the rooms on either side of you. Very dated bathroom, low water pressure in the shower. Found a toothbrush and a old T-shirt in the sofa bed (seriously), not worth the 94.00 for a night. Looking for a different hotel for the next trip over in March.

Good choice! At around $100 per night, found that price was cheaper than another place we usually stay in Peoria, but more expensive than some other hotels near by. However, was concerned about the reviews of the cheaper places so choose this one in the middle range. Was very happy with the choice. A little tricky to find the driveway too off the frontage road as so many motels there, just turn left after Perkins restaurant. All the staff we encountered were professional, helpful, friendly, accommodating, and competent. The room was nice and clean, comfortable beds, the heat/cooling controls easily adjustable and just a pleasant room. The wireless was messed one morning but they got it back up in running. The breakfast included more than continental breakfast, they had eggs, sausage, and waffles as well, however the sausage was like eating cardboard, but that would be my only complaint! Easy on off access to highway and good location for City touring. Lots of restaurants and shopping very close. Would totally stay there again!

Last week we had a 4 night reservation at another motel in the area. We left there after one night and moved to the Comfort Suites. Comfort Suites was a litte more expensive, but still very reasonable and it was SO much nicer than the other motel. Our first motel was cramped, somewhat unclean and completely unsafe. We could not have been happier with Comfort Suites. The rooms was spacious and CLEAN and we felt safe and secure in our room and the whole motel. Breakfast was the typical eggs, sausage, sausage gravy, waffles, etc. But it was hot and plentiful. The staff could not have been more helpful or pleasant. We will most definitely stay here on our next trip to Peoria, and will recommend it to anyone traveling to the area.
